1201  Economy / Economics / Re: Hope for cryptocurrency in Nigeria. on: December 22, 2022, 06:50:25 PM
That’s seriously bad condition in the Nigeria. I dint know they have such worst economical issues with banking system that nobody even cares to have the account in a bank. No wonder the decline in price against USD. It feels like as if I am looking at the charts of altcoin Vs bitcoin price. It’s noticeable that we are actually talking about a country which has its freedom since long time ago and still it dint gain that much market and economic standard as one country should have. Definitely something is wrong with the administration or may be they are failing with the whole principles behind it.
1202  Economy / Economics / Re: Warren Buffett rips Wall Street for turning stock market into a gambling parlor on: December 22, 2022, 06:14:37 PM
Yeah, they like to say these things openly and also in front of their shareholders but then no SEC or CBDC will be interfering with such doubtful statements. Oh wait why would they say anything since they might be getting their so called “cut” OTC or UTC. You know what I mean by this right?

But when there are few complications in the world of crypto currencies then they would start making buzz about it all the way to the bottom of earth. They would go dig every possible scenario to break it down.

And here we are talking about Buffett and his kitty party who can go away with anything from the Wall Street.
1203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SEC classified FTT token as a security on: December 22, 2022, 04:24:53 PM
Obviously man, it is going to be biggest problem if it is listed as security currency/asset then definitely it’s big issue. With the time it would be unrealistic because slowly it will fail the exchanges as well as the whole meaning of crypto currency would drain down the sink. I mean one by one they will either get into the control of government and they will impose harder regulations on them the time. This will ultimately stress out the users on doing their KYC and forcing them to show the crypto assets. That would be bad for crypto economy.
1204  Economy / Economics / Re: America's biggest vegetable growers fought for water, then the water ran out on: December 21, 2022, 06:38:57 PM
They need to adopt the developing country tricks and tips to get back on their foot. I am really not sure how they got on wrong foot but they need learn from those countries now. The good approach is to start taking small steps like mangroves, artificial farm ponds, dip water showers and much more. If they learn from largest farm producers from Asia then they could really get started with nice journey of farming.

Sometimes too much of modern times can also put us on the wrong side of the lines. Definitely there are countries who has deserted places but they have been growing farms more efficiently than modern techniques. Better start with such techniques rather than failing farms.
1205  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which kind of situation will force you to sell? on: December 21, 2022, 06:00:27 PM
Nice conversation to understand the scenarios of everyone, how would they react to it. Bitcoin is slowly getting one of the excellent asset these days. The more we try to HODL it the more profitable it becomes with the time. Or may be this is just true for bitcoin.  Cheesy

I think in my case I have already sold my bitcoin earnings as and when required by me or my family. Considering I am the sole earner in my house, the money is always short for me. So apart from my salary I always need to sell my bitcoin earnings and artwork earnings.

For me that happens to be the reason. In short family/daily expenses.
1206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Still think bitcoin is coming to an end? Then you must read this <3 on: December 21, 2022, 05:44:20 PM
It is good to see that any establishments are willing to accept Bitcoin but the question is if people are also wanted to spend their Bitcoin buying stuff.
That is really amazing, yet most of us had considered Bitcoin as an investment which makes me think that people are still preferred to use fiat over Bitcoin. I'm going to say that because, in myself, I can't do it. I can be one of those people who believe Bitcoin as a currency but never use it in real life as I can see more benefits if I use this for investment.

Most prefer to use fiat because it is more common than bitcoin. You can pay with fiat anywhere, but to pay for the same with bitcoin, you need to search well.

Oh come on man, really?
Who said you need to search well to send your bitcoins? I mean we are already having millions of buyer and sellers around the world. Bitcoin has already passed out that barrier where you had to wait for the peer to join so that you can start the buying selling process.

However, we have line of buyers these days. What to say about institutional investors they are always there to buy from you.

Do you really believe that there is wait time ?
1207  Economy / Economics / Re: Forget a return to office: We’re living in the age of side hustles on: December 20, 2022, 04:51:29 PM
There are things that make us complacent when working in the office, sometimes time is not felt so that when we are old we will be aware and regret, if we owns the office then this is a good thing, but if only an employee then it is better to leave it immediately, many opportunities To get greater money than working in the office.

Actually side hustles do not provide complete freedom from the financial point of view. We still need to rely on professional jobs if we have already got one. Multiple income source is definitely needed but it has to be well planned and executed. Moreover, peeps should understand that side hustles are really temporary and they may or may not sustain our lives forever. However one can always have multiple hustles to keep oneself engaged so much that even if one shuts down then another keeps us going. Definitely worth it.
1208  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just lost $4000 because of addresses starting with "bc1p" on: December 20, 2022, 03:55:33 PM
Damn that’s hurtful. I’m also one of the guy who only checks first few and last 4-5 characters of the address. After reading this post I’m going to be very careful next time I send the coins. This is definitely costly lesson for you dude and excellent example for everyone who is reading this.

I think one more way to save our losses is to have tags or labels on the addresses. I use mycelium, you can always name every address which can help identify it next time more easily and safely.

If it’s entirely new recipient then better triple check the whole address and then label it. That’s a good lesson.
1209  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance lots of FUD on: December 18, 2022, 06:05:31 PM
The money laundering could be prime issue here. That’s lot of money moving in and out of the binance. I just hope that our worst dreams are not coming true here after the FTX incidence. The problem will start firing up if the clues start coming out of the news and it is associated with Money laundering. We still need assurances from Binance directly and may be in the written consent that all the holdings are in their possession and there is proof of reserve. I don’t know they would do it but that is the only way to stop this FUD.
1210  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: December 18, 2022, 05:47:01 PM
I like how the thread is highly active on sports betting. This tells us freebitcoin has really made nice sports betting section that no other casino is trying to do. Though freebitcoin is faucet itself, it has gone really really far from what they starte d
I am making this comment because every time I visit this thread it is all about the games that ar evening played. Not even currency bets, not even other kinds of predictions. May be the simple blue print of betting directly on who will win with the time multiplier gives it more importance. Great to see everyone is enjoying this. Love it.
1211  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of finance belongs to open source on: December 18, 2022, 05:18:18 PM
Not a techie but in simple words it seems terrifying that proprietory developers are relying a lot on the open source programs. They are literally getting everything from just searching the web which means they are not suing their brains with full capacity I guess. This could be tough to digest but it’s unrealistic when you just mix up codes available on the open market and do not have modesty to develop entirely new code from the scratch.

Plus doing this in the financial domain is seriously not worth it. It could have loop holes leading to hacks, disturbing leaks and what not. I would always want my service provider to be 100% sure about their codes!
1212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All Hal Finney's Tweets on: December 18, 2022, 04:50:56 PM
We should not be relating any of this to the Twitter. I know there is importance of social platforms and they could move the market in any direction if the influencer is correct and his statements are right. However we are seeing shift from those trends as well after seeing how Elon moved the market and also dishonoured the investments of investors and his fans! I think lees got their lessons learnt and no one is going to believe this kind of shit again ever. I think we should not be much cared about this news. If Elons deleting it then let him.
1213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's behind Donald Trump's issuing NFTs ? on: December 17, 2022, 07:45:32 PM
This is definitely fake one because trump has his account blocked right? I’m mean there is no way he could have tweeted it anyways. With that said, there is also no official news about the NFT and trump. I’m also highly positive that trump does not have that much potential to go beyond the lines and launch an NFT marketplace. That would be really funny to see by the way. I can imagine there could be NFT with face of trump all over it. Funny but could be true.

About those Christmas cards I don’t know may be they are trying to raise funds for their little campaigns.
1214  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Too much uncertanity here it got be more sure here what i say on: December 17, 2022, 07:19:39 PM
We can not always think that whales are behind the whole thing. I mean it’s billions of dollars moving everyday here and there in the bitcoin world. There is no way whales can also work on any strategy to move the market just like that.

For Altcoins it’s easy to do it due to its low cap nature and also at the same time there are lot of stakes in one persons hand or may be partners for that matter. But for the bitcoin side, no no I don’t think that big market can be manipulated. Institutional investors are more careful than before because they know lot of government authorities are looking after them and tracing them, so definitely it’s going to be hard that way.
1215  Economy / Economics / Re: Only one way to save people now on: December 17, 2022, 06:31:33 PM
I think if anything is happening in the world and which is going in the wrong direction then we don’t have to have solutions out of crypto all the time! It does not work like that. If something is wrong then it’s because worlds reserves and countries are not working by the books. That’s what happens when they misjudge the finances and start giving away billions of dollars in unwanted schemes and projects. Wel that’s entirely different story. However we can relate everything to bitcoin. In fact bitcoin is really unstable currency and it will take time to push it as worlds currency. It’s really far away from that implementation.
1216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: AI answer to how can bitcoin price drop to 0$ on: December 17, 2022, 05:49:16 PM
Hmm, These AI things are really taking over the world. AI bots, AI chats, Neuralink and God knows what else are we going to invent in this world? They are really taking over and I hate to break it but we are not really in the good position to digests these things. They could actually change the course of thinking we have. AI can manipulate us to extreme levels and just like OP, AI is giving different answers every time. Which means there will be mind games in the future and if peeps started to relying on it then dam we are done man. It could go in wrong direction soon.
1217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Education programs should cover Bitcoin and Blockchain technology. on: December 16, 2022, 02:22:54 PM
Idea is obviously great and there are many universities who are already adding taught programs related to blockchains. However the perspective is really different. It's more or less associated with its coding, it's various applications associated in the field of information technology. It seems that many users are thinking about it's indirect publicity in correlation with the bitcoin. Though we are talking about blockchain, there is no need to always connect the dots with bitcoin. In fact bitcoin is just vehicle which runs on the blockchain. Definitely, the applications are wide, and the scope is even higher for blockchain. It is also studied by various mega organizations in the banking sector to see if there is anything with which blockchain can help them. Smiley
1218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High Profit Projects Are Prone To Scam on: December 15, 2022, 04:47:57 PM
Yeah the high yield projects.  Pretty much scams only. They want quick attention of investors and want to get lot of deposits into their wallets in exchange of those fake tokens. This type of scam is not new really. This has been around since very long. There was era of ICO when users were lured into the projects very quickly as they had impression of high returns and also at that time the boom was at another level. It’s always better to play slow but play steady. Rule of thumb, you can earn higher profits that way with least risk.
1219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Soyapango is proving that Bitcoin adoption alone is not enough on: December 15, 2022, 04:34:14 PM
Interesting fact, not sure if valid or not as we don’t really know what’s going on inside El Salvador. However, just grabbing more and more bitcoin does not really make sure that country is fully adopted. It only means El Salvador government has their own bitcoin reserves. On the other hand it seems unrealistic to just keep buying bitcoins and if they are not getting circulated properly in and out then what’s the point anyways?
Does it mean El Salvador is just looking for opportunity to grow with bitcoin and become the richest country in the world. Don’t know, the adoption is complicated because there is no proper channel.
1220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Physical Bitcoin Shop in Port Harcourt (Nigeria) on: December 15, 2022, 03:12:14 PM
Looks good. I am wondering how they are operating even if the regulation does not allow them to trade like that? And what public place are you mentioning here? Like isn’t this office is widely open for public on the roadside ? Isn’t that is enough as public place to trade!

Secondly, we need crypto p2p but we need it free from all the documentation and stuff. Like in this case they did ask for your personal account info!

Also, can I ask you what was it like inside the crypto bank? Does not look very safe place to store the bitcoins looking at the structure of bank. Just asking out of curiosity.

& Happy birthday.
