The result is to incentivize for quality content, and minimize shitposting / spam. What do you think?

Ever heard about Steemit?

I feel it is the similar concept and nothing new in that one. The Steemit blogger have been around since many years now but slowly that community was also corrupter and soon peeps found out how to increase the steems and earn tons of money.

When project started, peeps soon broke the code on getting bot votes and everyone started earning nice money irrespective to quality of the blog.

Some went so far that they earns thousands of blog with single blog post by bringing dummies around.
1362  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why DCA Strategy on: October 16, 2022, 01:40:58 PM
Yup it's always good strategy. For those who do not excatly understand the DCA and how it works then I am quoting some good points down here for the reference:

Quote
Dollar-cost averaging is the practice of systematically investing equal amounts of money at regular intervals, regardless of the price of a security.
Dollar-cost averaging can reduce the overall impact of price volatility and lower the average cost per share.
By buying regularly in up and down markets, investors buy more shares at lower prices and fewer shares at higher prices.
Dollar-cost averaging aims to prevent a poorly timed lump sum investment at a potentially higher price.
Beginning and long-time investors can both benefit from dollar-cost averaging. Check out here

So in short one can workout the DCA strategy in the volatile market such as the crypto. For example, if John wants to keep hold of his assets in the Bitcoin and do not want to trade it or get carried away in the world of chaos and ups and downs then he could plan for DCA strategy.
In this John simply makes a planner and sets his end goal such as how much money he wants to put in the Bitcoin?
Let us say John plans to buy two times in a month on 5th and 25th of every month. However John will always do this irrespective of the price of bitcoin on those dates. Now let us price of bitcoin on 5th was 1000 bucks and on the 25th it was around 1200 bucks. This way he will repeat the cycle every month and might do it over 2 years.
Due to volatility it is possible that bitcoin may go all the way from 1000 bucks (Starting cost when John started) to let's say 35,000 bucks by two year ended. However for John the cost would be average of every month later averaged with two years average. The final result would be such that he will be in positive investment as compared to those who bought at 35,000 k or who bought at 1000 k but kept selling and buying all the time. :-)

Definitely helpful strategy in the volatile world of bitcoin or other coins if you are proper planner and consistent with it.
1363  Economy / Economics / Re: Meta has burned $15 billion trying to build the metaverse on: October 16, 2022, 12:38:12 PM
Thats a crazy bet played by Mark and he could get into lawsuite trouble one more time after facebook. Why is that he is always being such jack when things are always in right direction for him? He is whole and sole target of many peeps when it comes to something bad in association with his project or facebook itself. He has lot of money but he always kinda overspend on stupid things or improper managements. I know he must be having big team behind his decisions with white collars but man, results ain't proving anything right here?

Metaverse, though futuristic many companies are already into it and bringing up some realities to it. They are doing this from the scratch but this guy with pocket full of money and 15 billions bucks on single project? He could have made whole star trek mission in metaverse with that much money.
1364  Economy / Economics / Re: Running a successful business in most developing countries on: October 15, 2022, 01:58:53 PM
That’s far complicated when you “practically” enter into the market. There are dozens of challenges up above these assumptions. Practically it could challenge you way differently and some gets better experience while some gets horrifying experiences. You have to start with proper fundings and skeleton of the whole project. Many times you may not have proper backings from banks, you may not get good schemes to kick start your business. These things are important in the initial stages because that’s the weakest point where you can loose your patience before one can even get into the market penetrations. It’s big topic to discuss really and everyone could have versatile experiences really.

Thank you for sending us an email about promotions, I was pleasantly surprised when I clicked on another banner from the promo and got one free spin of the wheel of luck and got 50 RP, I just didn't pay attention to it before. Smiley

Woo, I am surprised you did not know this before? I am not sure when did you enroll on the freebitcoin but WOF is available to every user irrespective of their status like premium or regular users. You should then see your mail box everyday because they will send you 1 free spin every 24 hours and you can play with captcha. That's the beauty of freebitcoin and that's the achievement of this website, they always keep giving us free stuff all the time.

Now imagine you have lost more than 365 free spins and opportunity to win lots of free stuff (RP's, Sats, Lottery tickets and GT's).

I have starred the freebitcoin messages and never miss single one on daily basis. I'm habitual to it. Fun!
1366  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: #btc Hashrate Reach New ATH a day ago, will the bull run has begun? on: October 15, 2022, 04:02:49 AM
This could be result of next halving cycle thats coming close day by day. It might be that various farms are restarting themselves and adding up the power of "lost china" miners when it was banned recently and full operations were closed down. That is pretty big difference which was balanced out by rest of the world miners, however it seems slowly they are building back with other miners. Every miner knows this is amazing opportunity to gain more coins in the wallet as they reach to the another halving cycle and thus aftermath is risen prices. This is helpful for them to profit the most during the high tide wave and keep the mining operations running smoothly. It's really a tug of war, the more we go ahead in the time, the higher hashrates would be there.
1367  Economy / Economics / Re: Agriculture HODL on: October 14, 2022, 05:08:59 PM
You make it sound so easy, but who will lend you a cheap machine that has been bought with a few tens of thousands just like that? We're not talking of a chainsaw that you can take a break from and lend to your neighbors for a few days, these are specialized machines that are being used at the precise harvest time, so the one that bought it will be using it for his harvest and once he is done slight chances your fruits are not already rotting in the fields, and the ones buying machines just to lend them, guess how much they are going to charge extra?

It sounds easy because we are already doing that in my country, and I think there are many services like that everywhere throughout globe.

Like this:
Code:
https://www.flaman.com/rentals/ag-equipment/
Catalogue:
Code:
https://www.flaman.com/rentals/pdfs/Rental_Catalogue_web.pdf

Though requirements could be A-Z, most of the companies will provide almost all sort of machineries (& yes specialized too).

It's kind of new business stream. Fortunately it saves time and money for the farmer who can not afford to buy the few tens of thousand in one go! Rather rent it, use it and send it back. No maintenance too!

For example, there is also Grain Harvester which is around $64,500 (old model cost) for direct sell could be rented out at the rate of $15,000 per month. So lets say someone finishes their harvesting in 15 days then they could get away with it at 7.5k bucks.

For the next cycle anyways there will be no use for the harvester machine until next harvest comes up. So its better for that farmer to rent it rather invest that much amount at once or pay same money in the EMI's.

Like this one [ https://www.rentalyard (dot) com/listings/farm-equipment/for-rent/207714809/2014-killbros-1311 ]

So may be it's easy, and we don't really have to depend on the neighbor's machine.
1368  Economy / Economics / Re: Agriculture HODL on: October 14, 2022, 03:46:05 AM
Instead of $10 a pound. We might see $15 or $20. Profit margins could swell significantly due to circumstantial conditions.

Demand and offer!
Just as how instead of $300 per barrel of oil how some idiots predicted we went down to 80$ and they need to cut production to even keep that level once something becomes more expensive it also becomes less sought after, and almonds, pistachios, and every single thing in this exotic category are the first on the list that will be dropped by the average consumer once it doubles in prices, reducing the demand and leaving you with increased costs to revenue ratio and a ton of competition.

Shopping in a supermarket we can see that almond nuts can sell for $10 a pound. When I see this, I wonder to myself how much time and energy would it take to grow 10,000 pounds of almonds to profit a cool $100,000. Does rain, sunshine and the tree do all of the work?

2500Kg for a ha, so you need two hectares (5 acres if I'm not mistaken), but that's our full nuts so I guess three times the area at least.
Of course, you need irrigation, you need pesticides, and you also need to HODL your breath for 5 years till they make any serious fruit!
Still keen on doing it? Not to mention that's the packed resell price, not what you're getting for raw product, add another 10% loss just on the nuts that will be thrown away at sorting.

Also, there is one other huge barrier, you either need costly machinery for harvesting (there are special machines exactly for the above-mentioned almonds) or you have to rely on the quite unreliable available workforce which might lead to complete miss your targets or losing the major part of your product and get you in red from the start.

Great, so farmer even gets to enjoy his 5 years tenure to do additional businesses. May be by dedicating a hectare or something for quick grower veggies and sell them in the market. The life of farmer cycles around many things but not limited one crop I believe. They can always have seasonal crops growing around the calendar and get money from it. There are anyways dozens of varieties and kinds of veggies which can grow quickly.

If they just wanna focus on the nuts then they can dedicate half land for that matter.

The prices are obviously decided after all the investments. Not everyone needs to really "buy" heavy machineries rather they can rent it on per day charges basis or whatever is trend in westerns.

However, with more poly houses and hydroponics the supplies would keep growing irrespective of seasons and outsides calamities.

Considering the upcoming inflation; I believe we already looking at the risen prices for food. It's not about farm to customer selling issues, it's freakish global economic crisis started at one corner of the world and now everyone gets to "enjoy" it.

It is true, you get 1 GT for every 0.005 Bitcoin wagered (not gambled) but wagered including the amount you win during gambling. There is no need to record anything as you can check the activity in the daily jackpot and see that the amount gambled there is much higher these last days than it was before, for me this is a clear indication that more and more people are giving it all to get as many GT tickets as before.

You're right. Users have really been collecting golden tickets much more actively. By the way, there are only 4 days left until the end of the current round of the Lambo lottery, and the total number of tickets has already exceeded 1.6 million. This is already much more compared to the previous round. Therefore, this time the chance of winning the Lambo will be significantly less.

It is significantly less but it’s not impossible. All the eyes are now on the guy who will win it and how much tickets he might be holding ? Whether we will see story where guy with 8 GT won the grand finale or whether guy with 8k or more tickets won the competition?

I love the way they promote it, “you only need one lucky ticket” to win the lambo. That statement always hits me no matter what and still I keep myself in the competition. Hope so I win and share the news here. Lolz n
1370  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for October on: October 13, 2022, 04:18:12 PM
Definitely going down and down since we are hitting all time high inflation since 40 years mate. It’s not a joke to economics, it’s mere terrifying timeline through which we have to pass on. It’s gonna be crazy times ahead and Most of the IT peeps are going to hit by it. Since bitcoin is more or less associated with blockchain and coding stuff it’s gonna be part of it. Peeps will be terrified with no jobs, no money, nothing to circulate or trade on mega scales. It could hit bitcoin directly and pull it down for sure.
1371  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it good that the Bitcoin community acts like a cult? (Podcast) on: October 13, 2022, 03:48:09 PM
Bitcoin is not a cult, it's simply ignored by "governments" and "financial institutes" because they fear the end of their era. Imagine world without fiat money, peeps would built in the chips into their hands and just swipe here and there, everyone would just want to have more and more bitcoin so that they can get the services or products they want without any middle party or bank etc.

Ever seen star trek or Doctor Who? Sometimes I feel like bitcoin was pulled straight out of those scifi movies and series.

It looks like cult because its new technology (relatively) and due to non ending hindrances peeps are unable to utilize it's full specs.
1372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy wisely not because of anybody. on: October 12, 2022, 05:38:02 PM
Oh yeah, scams could happen at extra ordinary level. There was Once coin named XFC and surprisingly it is still in play but lost its value after scam was exposed by authorities. So this project was related to soccer and they used Cristiano and many other players photos, videos and animes to promote their project without any contracts with them. They went further to sell their stickers with their coin on it and showcasing its worth it. However soon club was called and suit was filed against them. Today they only have XFC with no value but just in game play coin that’s all. I have seen so many news, experienced so many projects like this! Definitely worth studying what we going into.
1373  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: October 12, 2022, 05:27:06 PM
I really have one good advice to all those who keep getting tangled up with the KYC stuff, well they should either limit their gambling so that they can keep to lower tiers and keep playing for longer or simply get KYC verified and enjoy without any hesitation.

Or secondly you can straight away visit nearby physical casinos and enjoy gambling their exposing the face to the whole world there. Lolz.

At least with online casinos there is one good thing; you don’t expose yourself to the world. So come on, play more fight less guys.
1374  Economy / Economics / Re: Switching The World To Renewable Energy Will Cost $62 Trillion on: October 12, 2022, 05:00:56 PM
I think they should start seeing it in different way, but the statement that I will make needs T1 civilisation who is far more advance and where peeps are not divided from border to border, skin color to skin color and language and so on. . .

62 trillion is definitely lot of money but it’s not much if all those countries launch step by step projects by using the geographical advantages surrounding them. For example, from these numerous countries have big stretching desserts or some of them have coastal areas lengthier than the borders could separate. Using these they can set up giant solar stations, wind mills, hydro power stations etc to collect the energy into single mega station. From this surrounding countries should be powered up. This could also bring ho employment from all over the globe since these projects would be literally bigger than cities and counties!

It’s not like man has never done impossible things earlier. This isn’t difficult for humans who quickly understood how nuclear fission reaction from chemistry lab could be capable of destroying the whole nation!

I’m sure treaty can be formed to agree on this and create giant stations with that much money is possible. (If they really think we all are same).
1375  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have all the 'Bull Runs' just been billionaires pumpin and dumpin? on: October 12, 2022, 04:49:17 PM
That trend really not new. The riches have been playing with us all the time. What do you think about the fiat note that we hold everyday and trade? That’s ridiculous printed note is nothing but foul play of the riches, and the governments and slowly got injected and nobody knew when they started trading it over the digital network with Share market!

Now there comes bitcoin for our help to have privacy owned transactions, own bank authority and what not. However soon one rich guy smokes weed in their rich club houses and tell their friends how they can use it to be more rich. …

……and there you go we discussing the same stuff, just beyond the curtains.
1376  Economy / Economics / Re: MONEY IS THE MOTIVATING FACTOR, what do you think? on: October 11, 2022, 05:43:22 PM
The whole world revolves around it so definitely it’s motivating factor for us. In fact we can’t even breath without money these  days. Get this: We go to job, we earn, we spend, we flourish our lives with that money. If somehow one is thrown out of their employment then it could become disastrous for that person. Imagine all of that chain stopping right there and he would go crazy. This is why it’s obvious that peeps are motivated with the money and they want it a lot and a lot all the time.
1377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google partners with Coinbase to accept crypto payments for cloud service on: October 11, 2022, 03:29:59 PM
I don’t understand why Google is not making up their own system to accept the payments. Are they broke? Lolz.  Grin

Google could have been better at this by developing something their own, unique product which will attract more and more peeps with whole new experience of making payment through their “trusted brand” like Google.

It’s not for the first time they are using the third parties. Like in india they are using UPI and created Google Pay which uses traditional UPI method and keep promoting the app with new promos and stuff.

However, better options soon came into the market and they are now far far better than GPAY. That’s why it’s better they launch something unique. :-D
1378  Economy / Economics / Re: More than half of Silicon Valley residents want to leave on: October 09, 2022, 10:10:03 AM
That’s complicated situation for sure considering the importance of silicone valley area. I am wondering why this is happening opposite way since tech giants should be calling for bigger employment in the area and thus the city should keep growing at higher rates and thus should give larger areas to spread and develop.

One more reason could be that Texas is calling High tech peeps as Elon Musk calls for mega employment drive. In addition to all, the cost of living needs to be brought down so that bigger families can sustain freely and live good life. May be Silicon Valley is slowly missing the charm of the same.

What a great Sunday Morning!

Had few rolls and bang I hit the highest (self) roll on freebitcoin multiplier wager section. I think my luck's good today. What do you guys think about it and have you gotten such high? Previously I posted about my high roll but this time its 452x and all I bet is 70 Sats on it. So I have received about 31,596 Sats for it. Cool isn't it.

Moreover, I have multiplied many such bets, I just hope that freebitcoin enjoys their 5% house edge and let me keep 95% all the time like this. Both the houses will stay happy forever.  Tongue
With 0.21% odds I won that's amazing. You can go ahead and win such bets too guys.

Well I am not holding much BTC in my freebitco.in account and so the higher interest rate doesn't matter for me as of now.
May be in future if I deposit some sats in my freebitco.in account to get interest returns then may be I will increase my FUN token count as well.
For the time being this would be my total count for FUN tokens.

If you don't have a lot of BTC on the site, than I would also stick to the level that you currently have. For me it is worth it, but you only get 2 WOF spins more and it is quite a big leap between level 2 and 3.

Oh yes. Even single spin in that can give you 5000 RP or Sats. Never under estimate the power of that little spin guys. The more they are the more the odds we hitting higher rewards. It is as simple as that and we can’t deny the fact that we already saw proofs of many high rollers. Like some  of us had spin 1000+ WOF and the rewards were something 15k sats, 12k RP and 5k Lott and 50 GT. That’s big give away for that guy because he had some of the spins hitting to bigger rewards.
Take a decision of higher savings if you can otherwise play safe. We have nothing to loose here except daily few minutes clicking the blue roll button. Smiley
