421  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Chipmixer.com - EXIT SCAM ?! on: August 22, 2019, 02:49:27 PM
They should care for it or they will end up grabbed by laws and shut down - my personal views as I have seen some good mixers being shut by not abiding by the laws, though I know CM knows their job better and they are my personal favorite.
Yeah man, they will also probably just implement KYC to avoid getting shut down by the gov, right? Rofl.

I never said that but then such a service will only help criminals to get their tainted Bitcoins or BTC gained through criminal activities shuffled by them and have them saved. I bet they currently have the choice of helping out in such cases as they have got all the details in the end like transaction timestamps, id's and everything as well as the transactions that they sent? No?
Which is a slippery slope, and something that would make Chipmixer totally untrustworthy. What's next, you want Chipmixer to give every Bitcoin coming from Casinos, Darknet markets, bounty campaigns (yes most of those can be considered illegal too, and non-registered exchanges (yobit)) to authorities?

The same analogy that you're using on Chipmixer can also be used on the service you're advertising:
The service you're advertising with "No KYC verification" will also only help out criminals who are looking to cash out their "hacked" Ethereum, and yours is even worse considering it's a gateway to real money, whereas Chipmixer is simply a shuffler. Why are they not introducing forced KYC on every customer like LocalBitcoins does?

Besides, even if they would help authorities out, it would still be useless, as it won't sway their opinion of them, namely what you described; them being a service for criminals.
422  Economy / Reputation / Re: mdayonliner posting: Lauda please remove red tag from Retina on: August 22, 2019, 12:10:24 PM
Hey... Look who's back for some more drama.. It's this guy. I thought you locked your account and threw away the key? If you're so done with the forum, there must be a really pressing issue for you to come back for..

<blablabla>
I have always said S_th... is not me and also Retina is not me too. It was Hilari AKA hilariousetc who came up with such connections (in this topic) and started to prove that S_th... was me (I tried my best to prove him wrong but nothing worked) and then he pointed it out to Retina too. End result, I left the forum, S_th... got red tag (although he caught out doing some other things those were not accepted by the community) and today I found out Retina was tagged by Lauda.

How many more accounts will be suspected as mdayonliner and get red tagged, is not what my question here.
My question is will Lauda remove the red tag if I can send some screenshot (if needed then I can record a screencast) of conversation with the guy (he claims that he is the Boyfriend of Retina) that proves that Retina is not me or S_th...? In the conversation we have talked about S_th... too which should prove that S_th... is a different person.

So, the boyfriend of Retina texted you telling you that you should come back to the forum and explain to all of us that Retina is definitely not your alt account... As proof the boyfriend tells you to use this chat log..
And so, off to a noble mission you go to help the boyfriend of Retina to rescue her account. Why? Why?

And how is a chat log proof of anything? the "boyfriend" (which i presume is your friend as well) could very well be in on your scheme to get your account untagged for whatever reason...

And what does that have to do with anything?

I thought this account was locked with the password posted publicly? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5135318.new#new
He was talking about Mdayonliner i'm pretty sure.

423  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [BITCOIN MIXER] 0.5% MIN FEE! MYBITMIX.COM NO JS MIXER! Security,Efficiency! on: August 22, 2019, 10:49:50 AM

Guys I'm working clearly. No one negative review nowhere. Check serious h4ck forums at review section at mybitmix.com and you will see all.
Because no one has used your mixer yet.... And what forums exactly are you talking about? Hackforums?

Quote
If you want talk serioulsy about bitcoin anonymizing lets talk i'll give you proff about untrackable transactions from my mixer.
Shouldn't that be something that your mixer does by default? Why would you want to prove this if you're running an actual mixer?

Quote
Now stop this trash please. Dont be like mrworlf or just usual hater. Try to mix some coins if you have it and you will see how service works  Smiley

Have a good day!
I'm just pointing out irregularities you yourself created. This forum isn't some fairytale story where everyone just mindlessly swallows your crap.

But hey, i wish you the best of luck. By my calculations you must've already mixed over 1000BTC by now since you started your mixer, so i'm not sure what you're whining about- business is going great for you, right?
424  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Get All The Cryptocurrency News In One Place on: August 21, 2019, 08:02:14 PM
Are you sure that this is a news curator website or just a retweet website? Because everything I see in the website are all just tweets from other news sources which doesn't really count as news articles as tweets don't even count as news if they aren't even providing the whole article even if they are providing the link for the whole article. Also I see some tweets that I think shouldn't be there in the first place since they are really no news involve maybe you need to change how you filter out or screen the "news" you are sharing.

It's just... twitter... but with a lot, and i mean a LOT of random crap from what i can see. Random altcoins, but it doesn't seem to be following any/a lot of the Crypto OG's under famous people. I do see tweets made by some "koreanjew" about every month being black history month... Not sure what that's all about.

Anyway, why would someone use this over their own twitter account. I don't get it.

425  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Faucets Risks / Benefits in 2019! on: August 21, 2019, 06:40:55 PM
I was lucky when I was still a newbie in the world of Bitcoin way back in 2016 all the faucets I have participated isn't one of those fraudulent ones. I don't know if its luck or criminals are not yet into the faucet scams during that time. But now I've been seeing a lot of faucets where I need to download their software so that I can start earning which for me is really questionable to begin with, faucet websites doesn't even need to be that complicated in the first place in order to run and earn. Also for newbies reading this their are phishing sites acting out as faucets but what they really want is to obtain your private keys from you having the mistake to enter them in the first place, if they asked for more then your address or email address (to sign up) then you should stay away from it.

Searching also the faucet in Google to know its legitimacy also works by putting some keywords like this.
Code:
[Faucet Name] [Scams/Review]
Most likely the reason that they want you to download software is to utilize your GPU/CPU to mine, and perhaps to log your HWID against people who make duplicate accounts?

I know most faucets already have some sort of webminer embedded on their site, so if you want to f* your computer over real good to 100% CPU usage, a single visit to your average faucet is enough to do so.

I use faucets to claim some satoshis for transaction fees, still come in handy even after bitcoin faucets arent making sense anymore because of price surge which means low fauctes claims, now i use litecoin and bitcoincash faucets only
When you ultimately convert those to cash out.. then what? you still pay relatively "enormous" fees compared to what you've earned.
426  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitwhisk.io is online again. Is it a scam attempt by someone else or a comeback? on: August 21, 2019, 03:13:36 PM
Anyone could register their domain name after it expires and the grace period is over, and since there is no update through any of their channels (although their twitter etc could also be hacked), i highly doubt this is actually the same owner.
427  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer.com - Bitcoin mixer / Bitcoin tumbler - mixing reinvented on: August 21, 2019, 01:41:53 PM
Researchers are claiming that they have detected an extensive pool of Chipmixer's addresses.

https://blog.clain.io/binance-hack-2019-deep-dive-into-the-money-laundering/

Do you really think ChipMixer coins will be properly mixed after this?

I don't think you understand what mixing is.

But, yes. This doesn't impact Chipmixer at all, or your privacy.

Any exchange that assumes you are the one that hacked them -/ "binance" -/ and thus tries to take your funds from you is an exchange you should avoid.
428  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Chipmixer.com - EXIT SCAM ?! on: August 21, 2019, 12:55:26 PM
3 days passed and no response from them .... Huh
Where/How did you try to contact them?

Did you send an email to
Code:
chipmixer@protonmail.com

If so, try to wait a bit longer, as it looks like they've been offline for the last couple of days. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1003345

I do agree with you though, this is not something that should happen, and chipmixer should give clarity faster about your issue, and whether it's a fault on their end, or yours.
429  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Hackers Bombard Chipmixer to Launder at Least 4,836 BTC on: August 21, 2019, 10:59:23 AM

No. There has been a paper posted a while ago that deanonymized almost every mixer (except Chipmixer (perhaps due to it not being vectored properly by the researcher)). I lost the link but i'll search for it in a bit.

And of course you also have the good ol' fed's raiding you if you're hosting your servers in Europe/US. See what happend to Bestmixer. INTERPOL claims they got ALL the transaction data from that mixer.

Edit: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5117328.0

Vou, that is what I was wondering. This means that crypto can not be anonymous, everything can be relatively easily tracked . And according to link you provided, trackers do not even need to have servers in their hands. Someone who has knowledge of the workings, can easily brake the " code" .
Yep. But crypto* itself can very well be anonymous. It's just that Bitcoin isn't designed to be that way from the very beginning.

If you look at other cryptocurrencies, such as Monero. - https://getmonero.org/ this coin for example is completely untraceable by design, and can't be "Broken".
430  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Method get Gmail not SMS verify [Legit 100%] on: August 21, 2019, 10:29:12 AM
Just FYI: All 3 of OPs "untrusted positive feedback" are from users with ZERO posts and posted within 3 minutes of each other.  Account email changed.  Likely a bought account and obviously fake trust.
Also, 8 dollar for a vulnerability exploit on Google's email system Huh Either OP is spewing lies and or selling a skewed method. Eg you need a fresh IP for every 3 accounts..

Or he's sitting on a goldmine here and i for the love of god wouldn't understand why he's trying to sell it for 8$.

I know which one i see being more likely....  Roll Eyes

Another thing, you have 0 reviews on shoppy, yet you list all these sell orders in your SS... Huh?
431  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are BitCoin Transaction Accelerator? on: August 21, 2019, 09:35:04 AM
I've yet to see a service that actually works with accelerating BTC transactions, I've seen numerous websites and bitcointalk threads offering these services, but it's hard to track and see if someone actually accelerates it, or if they are fishing for donations.

I'm guessing there is no way to check if a transaction has been accelerated, right?

The article linked doesn't make sense, most of the sites only rebroadcast the transaction, which do little to nothing. The most effective way to get it accelerated would be to either:

- Know a miner who can help you out with it
- Either send it with a higher fee, or you can RBF it and send it again. Don't use web wallets, they charge stupid fees for transactions.
Not really. Of course if it's a specific miner accelerator- VIABTC for example, your block would (if it were to be accelerated) mined by the ViaBTC Pool.

Other than that i don't think there's any way to see it.
432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: btc is slow!! Confimations problem on: August 20, 2019, 08:42:27 PM
Btc confirmations are slow!!
I pay for fee so I Want to Get it Done!!

Why?  I did 2 Transactions one with higher fee but Still Not confirmed i sent out from Block chain wallet!

Link the transactions so we can see the problem. (if there is one.)
Quote
Someone Better off Fix this Bitcoin thing!!
I have used Ethereum and its fast it never took longer then 1 hour.
Usually Ethereum is confirmed in 5-10min. Its Not so fast but its better then Nothing.
Ethereum isn't bitcoin.
Quote
As I pay for something im expecting to get Good service!

Huh

Quote
I Don't Know who is the crrator or run this blockchain but the confirmations are slow..
That's fairly obvious.

Quote
Im in cryptocurrency business speed is very important for me  i Can't accept any of my time is wasted!
Either increase your fees, or use altcoins?

Quote
Why They said about segwit... The Bitcoin transactions are Still Low what is the problem??
The problem is that A. segwit doesn't make blocks generate faster (Admittedly they do allow for more tx's in a block and thus increate tps but it can still take up to 10-20 minutes for a block to be generated.)
and B. your wallet (blockchain.info) isn't using segwit to give you "lower" fees.

Is anyone knows its Bitcoin problem or its likely blockchain wallet problem?

If so any other Good wallet I Can use?
It's not necessarily a blockchain problem, although switching your wallet would help "solving" the "issue". (You can use Segwit which in turn allows you to save money on fees, or spend the same amount as legacy for a higher priority to confirm = likely faster confirmations.)

Try Electrum. https://electrum.org/#download (Make sure you download it from the right place.)
433  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Chipmixer.com - EXIT SCAM ?! on: August 20, 2019, 06:22:23 PM
and about OP's issue, how come they would just turn out to be a scam just having an issue with $200? hehe.

It has happend before to another user  (But with 1BTC)

Yuri Jhonny is correct. He visited our service, deposited BTC to our deposit address and our service did not give him chips nor vouchers. We are sorry for that. He received his chips after support intervention.

We are investigating what went wrong. We will update this post.

So it might actually be a real problem on Chipmixer's side. (and a recurring issue in that case, which doesn't look that good.)
434  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Receiving Salary in NewZealand in CryptoCurrencies | CryptoPositive on: August 20, 2019, 06:13:09 PM
New Zealand became the first country to legalise salary payment in Bitcoin. So which other countries do you think will follow NZ's footsteps? 🤔

Now if you are working in New Zealand you can receive your salaries in cryptocurrencies as legalised by Inland Revenue Department (IRD), New Zealand Tax effective from September 1, 2019.
Has been allowed for years in various EU countries i'm pretty sure.

As previously reported, a crypto mixing service, or a crypto tumbler, is an anonymity tool that claims to transform transactions of non-private coins to private ones by mixing crypto funds with others...

I have been thinking of these mixers, are they actually bullet proof?
Are those algorithms un hack-able , I mean if these hackers will go unpunished because they used this service and it can be proven that they are the owners of hacked coins?
No. There has been a paper posted a while ago that deanonymized almost every mixer (except Chipmixer (perhaps due to it not being vectored properly by the researcher)). I lost the link but i'll search for it in a bit.

That's really impressive. I knew they are a good service, but I didn't know about that . Do you have any links to confirm this? Maybe the transaction to chipmixer?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5174535.0
Damn. Somehow i missed this. This is really, really impressive. I assume they didn't receive the 4800 BTC in a single go, but still this goes a long way to proving that Chipmixer is either a honeypot Tongue or pretty legit, as the article does seem to insinuate that the funds flowed in in vast amounts.. (Thus the perfect time to exit scam, if they had wanted.)

The article is spewing bullshit.

#4 360 BTC Accelerator

This is another portal which offers free Bitcoin Acceleration Service. Even if the initial transaction fee is less, you can accelerate the transaction.Although this service doesn’t connect to other miners or mine itself. They rebroadcast the unconfirmed transactions to the network to confirm them faster. In the rebroadcasting process, they are likely to get picked by pools like ViaBTC which confirms it. One more good thing is that no sign-in is required and it speeds up your Bitcoin transaction
Its simply not true. Rebroadcasting a transaction is actually pretty useless if your tx is already known by a good amount of nodes, and it certainly doesn’t improve it being added faster. I have yet to see any evidence that this is the case.
438  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are BitCoin Transaction Accelerator? on: August 20, 2019, 10:04:49 AM
Bitcoin Transaction Accelerators are the enhancers, which are an off-chain service, accepting an extra fee to include a particular transaction in the upcoming Bitcoin block deliberately in order to get sufficient confirmations. These accelerators are run by none other than the miners themselves as their intention is to get higher block mining fees and rewards.
Most of these accelerators you find online are actually NOT ran by miners, but rather just by someone who's looking to make some adrevenue money.

Their sites, or "accelerators" do nothing but either rebroadcasting your transaction, or trying to add them to the VIABTC accelerator (which is nearly impossible, as they're usually filled the second the next hour goes in. (Or that's how it used to be at least.)

And BTC.COM is actually ridiculously expensive. A much better and cheaper solution would be to stop using f*** web wallets, and use a wallet that actually has RBF & segwit.
439  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Question about privacy on Electrum Bitcoin. on: August 19, 2019, 07:46:03 PM
I don't think you can choose what Bitcoin you have in your electrum wallet that you can spend but I know you can choose what address you will send it from, and if Mr. X knows the tx id of the transaction then expect that he also know where the BTC is going.
Wrong and wrong.

You can pretty much choose which bitcoins you want to have in your wallet. Mixer -> any Non-KYC exchange (binance) -> Withdraw again, and voila, you now have coins from binance with no connection to you.  (I don't think Binance really likes this though.)

Quote
...But to tell you honestly this is not a violation of privacy.....
It kind of is though. When you buy a new car, you don't necessarily want the car dealership to know, or anyone else what your net worth is, or for how much you bought the car....

Quote
since tracking transaction with Blockchain is already being done in public, even authorities doesn't even need a warrant to observe the transactions happening in BTC's blockchain.
Doesn't mean that you shouldn't try to preserve your privacy.

Only merchants who use BitPay or CoinBase, but there are very few cases since IMO people who use mixer/coinjoin tends to avoid those services.
It's the only cases i manged to found (perhaps due to bad/generic keyword) : https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/3mea6b/bitpay_is_blacklisting_certain_bitcoins_rejecting/

CoinBase are known to blacklist some Bitcoin for their wallet/exchange services and it should apply to their payment processor as well.
But personally i wouldn't worry about it because there aren't any merchants who use BitPay/CoinBase to accept Bitcoin due to their unpopular business/politic decision
I guess it might be some opt-in feature then, otherwise we probably would've seen a lot more posts than just this article.

No doubt though that Coinbase/Other exchanges (Kraken/Bitstamp) are tracking tainted coins and perhaps will even take retroactive measures against them some day. I wouldn't be surprised.
440  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I already have a Bank attached with paypal account? Why should we use Bitcoin? on: August 19, 2019, 03:42:25 PM
Bitpay is now demanding kyc, but PayPal requires even more invasive verification. And PayPal is certainly more expensive.

Big difference is that paypal is a billion dollar company whom i expect has some higher standards for verification procedures and storing them in a secure way than Bitpay has.

Certainly they can be held liable if things go south. With Bitpay, i wouldn't be so sure. They'd simply dissolve or something.
