1321  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling My Project on: October 03, 2018, 05:52:32 PM
Yes i am talking about qaacoin.
Its not about investor to invest a huge amount.i selling the site because i am not able to put much efforts in this.So it will best if someone engage with cryptocurrency and has many influence.
In case of me i do not have any huge following to make use of it earn a good amount. That is the reason i am gone sell it.
In case of earning i did not even put a single ad on it,so i did not put any price up front.
I believe its an good idea to make use of it if someone has good repo in the cryptofield. I can create the same site and all the available resources as i mentioned for the buyer.

Any suggestion not the earning sides but for the whole project idea to sell.
Any price to suggest.

It's a cryptocurrency forum in Q&A style, correct? It looks really bland, and unorganized/unclear in comparison with something such as Stackexchange. Which is basically what you're trying to be, right?

There's no traffic, so you're basically just selling this script. I for one wish you luck selling this for a penny even.

I've analyzed your script/site for the heck of it. If anyone's interested in it;

https://www.dareboost.com/en/report/d_5bb5022ae9679014dc4ec7ac
Not sure how accurate the analysis is exactly. See for yourself.

You can't. You commited plagiarism on (i think) multiple occasions. There's no way to get unbanned with what you did versus what you brought to the forum.

Besides that, almost all of your posts were useless one-liners. (Even the ones you copy-pasted.. Roll Eyes)

1323  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Nexo.io Platform on: October 03, 2018, 03:25:29 PM
I just want to know your thoughts on this platform. I came to know this website through Coinmarketcap.

Apparently, they give loans but could someone explain how they work in depth? Are you basically giving an amount in an altcoin which they consider as collateral and then they give you the equivalent in BTC? are there any KYC/AML needed?

As far as i understand their system, it works as following:

You give them BTC/other  altcoins as collateral, and in return you get a USD loan.

Quote
are there any KYC/AML needed?

I believe so.

This is what it says on their support page:

In order to obtain a loan, follow these steps:

Sign up for your Nexo Wallet at https://platform.nexo.io/;
Deposit collateral. The platform supports ETH, BTC, NEXO and BNB with new major altcoins being added on a regular basis;
Undergo the Basic/Advanced Verification in the My Profile section;
Go to “Withdraw Loan” where you will see the available loan amount;
Choose the preferred withdrawal method and enter your bank account/Tether address;
Enjoy spending your Nexo Loan.

Also;

Regulatory Compliance
Nexo is using Onfido to adhere to the strictest KYC and AML global compliance standards. Onfido is also trusted by Coinbase, Revolut, HSBC, Nationwide, TransferWise and Bittrex.
1324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitpay invoice-btc to Skrill $.Tx with 3 sat/B on: October 01, 2018, 05:24:23 PM

I need 6 confirmation in order to see my $ in Skrill.I really dont want to wait that long..Is there any way paying Bitpay invoice with custom miners fee.If im able to choose i will set 1-2 $ fee,i don't get why im forced to send the tx with 0.04 cents,when my tx's are urgent.....

Edit: its been 3 hours+ already with no confirmation and i need 6 ,i believe...  Lips sealed

When looking at 3ef2c20c3bfe66c2c7e8fe71e0f753e3e34f5affa9ac31e78ecb3717f5415490 on

https://btc.com/3ef2c20c3bfe66c2c7e8fe71e0f753e3e34f5affa9ac31e78ecb3717f5415490

It seems that your transaction has been confirmed already. I'm not so sure why blockchain.com doesn't display it correctly though.

I'm not an expert on Bitpay, but it sounds like it might have something to do with the scanning of a transaction versus doing it manually?

Also it's quite unclear what exactly you're doing/what wallets you are using.

Quote
I sent my btc from my desktop wallet to bitpay wallet in order to pay btc to merchant!
I've used their service couple of times and successfully paid my transactions to Skrill,but miner fee was like 0.20 $ .

I found out you cant manually change the miners fee to merchants in Bitpay mobile wallet.
What BTC desktop wallet?

You send BTC from Desktop wallet -> mobile Bitpay wallet -> Skrill deposit adress to convert it to $? correct?
1325  Other / Meta / Re: suggestion Bitcointalk Card on: October 01, 2018, 04:14:16 PM
And the purpose of that would be what exactly?..... It's not like there's some "BitcoinTalkCon", and if there was, i doubt a lot of people want to dox themselves.

-* I mean, great idea. Why don't you start an ICO to kickstart your project? have at it.
1326  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what do i need to start a website like Coinbase ? on: September 28, 2018, 07:52:33 PM
However, you can do an ICO if you don't have the require capital and easy your expenses you could also offer the team some percent of the token has their fee.
ICO lol? You think Coinbase is an erc20 token or something?
Coinbase was funded by a (albeit) private investment round themselves, so it's not really that far off. I think an ICO is quite similar to that and many "D-exchanges" have held ICO's to fund their project.

So it's definitely something you could look into, however the market/ICO's for these kind of projects is already extremely flooded. I myself personally would never invest/speculate by buying into such an ICO, considering how many of them are/turn out to be scams.

Some examples;

https://chasing-coins.com/ico/BAY
https://icobench.com/ico/deex
https://icobench.com/ico/localcoinswap
https://icobench.com/ico/nauticus
https://icobench.com/ico/swarm-fund
https://icobench.com/ico/jibrel-network

They all kind of reek like scams do though.
1327  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: The domain for 1broker has been seized by FBI on: September 28, 2018, 07:15:19 PM
how seized by FBI and they came back and they refund?
that's impossible!

Because it wasn't actually the servers that were taken, but rather just the domain, which is usually registered somewhere where the US have some sort of jurisdiction.
It's a setback for sure, but nothing compared to the FBI actually taking their servers and thus their funds.

I'm wondering if there are any domains that are so to speak "unseizable". Apart from .onion ones, i don't think there are?
1328  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Good place to buy Bitcoin for newbies on: September 28, 2018, 02:19:42 PM
If you're placed in Europe, there is a good place to buy altcoins, accepting SEPA payments (which are relatively fast - 1 business day). It is suitable specially for newbies, as it is very simple and straightforward, requiring almost no previoius knowledge of crypto. It is a specialized e-shop. where you buy cryptocurrencies as goods: you select your coin, amount, give e-mail and just place your order. https://www.ccshop.info

Are you in any way related to this website? It is brand new (has not received any traffic, https://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/ccshop.info) So i'm really wondering how you found it.

And it just looks shady, "Just give your email" no KYC? you're based in the EU, isn't this a requirement because of AML laws?

Have you used the site yourself?
1329  Other / Meta / Re: List of inactive DT1 & DT2 from long period. on: September 27, 2018, 07:08:20 PM
Since lot of DT member's inactive, is it possible add new DT ?
I doubt it and i don't see why it would be necessary really.

Trust is something that is earned and something that grows over time. Just adding DT2 members for the sake of it seems rather useless and contra productive.
I'm pretty sure if someone is giving exceptional ratings et al he will be added if it's deemed needed.
1330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Sending Bitcoin to Electrum on: September 27, 2018, 05:35:45 PM
Nothing is really checking out on the information you are saying, I have checked both the wallet address and tx id you have given and none of them showed up in any block explorer I have used. Also you have given us another false information which you think that you have given us your private key carelessly, Electrum even gives warnings or reminders when you are trying to access your private key yet you just tried to post it publicly. I am starting to think that you don't know what you are talking about or worst just trolling us and wasting our time.

Clearly you haven't been using the right blockexplorers. His adresses do check out in terms of BCH being stored on them.
Also he didn't post his privkey, but an xpub. However you make a fair point. I haven't checked it out, but as far as i am aware, there is no way to access an xpub on the android version of electrum? Or is it just privkeys that you're unable to access?

Bitcoin.com Wallet

Version - v5.0-hotfix2
Commit hash - #9438960
Bitcoin.com Wallet is a fork of Copay made by Bitpay

Does this help at all for "which Bitcoin" am I using?

Yeah. That's a bitcoin cash wallet.

Did you buy your "bitcoins" (Bitcoin Cash) there aswell?

I'm not sure how easy it is to export/import private keys with mobile wallets. It might be more convenient to use a PC.

EDIT: AFAIK, you can't access your private key on Android Electrum.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2381046.0

Have you saved the seed for electrum on your android? If so, import the seed on the desktop version of Electrum.

NOT ElectronCash, as they might generate seeds differently etc. I have no clue how they work.

From there you can export the private key into a BCH compatible wallet (ElectronCash), and you should be able to access your funds.
1332  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Sending Bitcoin to Electrum on: September 27, 2018, 04:07:20 PM
I downloaded the Bitcoin wallet app and the Electrum Wallet off of the Play Store on Google.......

My Electrum private key that I used was: xpub661MyMwAqRbcGQ6ZfyKW1nUpTt3g7Yem6brVwAmpMXUkvBnEEKCyJ1vHWiChSN8DMo7rfiyesYX g4tC43BvxNJkz5jwRKeNysVn3HFJCdxZ

That's not a private key..  Huh

It's an extended public key (xpub). See https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/a/36958 It might be better not to randomly post these online.

Can you show us where exactly you are able to find your transaction ID? maybe a link to a block explorer? Otherwise we can only guess what you could possibly do.

It sounds to me like you might have downloaded a fake version of Electrum, which took your money and is now showing imaginary transaction IDs.
1333  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Newbie in "bitcoin core" on: September 26, 2018, 04:38:30 PM
I recommend that you take it one step further and setup both bitcoin and lightning.

Start by running on the test net so you can play around with sending and receiving with no risk at all.

Here is a nice project in nodejs, it shows how to use all bitcoin and lightning commands via API calls and displaying the result in a nice interactive dashboard:

https://github.com/altangent/lnd-explorer

Here is an example of how it looks like:

https://demo1.lndexplorer.com/

Why would he make it more difficult than needed? He clearly states that he's new to bitcoin. I'm not entirely sure if diving into LN is something you'd want to do when you barely understand Bitcoin Core yet. Especially with the amount of bugs/development that is going on around LN.

-x-

The problem with running bitcoin core (and lightning especially) on your desktop is that it's not online 24/7 and have a bunch of other stuff running at the same time.

A raspberry pi? Do people still use these?

Also, he wants to use his node to get "balances/transfer (I presume his own) funds". There really wouldn't be any reason to run a node specifically for that purpose 24/7.

Quote
There is also a security issue, better to have a securely setup Linux box dedicated for only bitcoin.
What exactly are you referring to? What exploit?
1334  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Running nodes? on: September 25, 2018, 05:21:00 PM
Doesn't Bitnodes.earn.com show the Bitcoin core version?

I think https://bitnodes.earn.com/dashboard/ is the link you're looking for, instead of https://bitnodes.earn.com/
This might also be of interest: https://bitnodes.earn.com/nodes/leaderboard/

I could be wrong though, as i'm not entirely sure this is what you mean.
1335  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Newbie in "bitcoin core" on: September 25, 2018, 01:45:23 PM
From https://bitcoin.org/en/developer-examples - I am not able to locate bitcoin.conf after installing bitcoin core and running 'bitcoin core testnet' on my box.

I assume you're running windows 7/8/10.

If so, it should be located in the following path:

Quote
Windows Vista, 7, 10C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Bitcoin
As per https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/11190/where-is-the-configuration-file-of-bitcoin-qt-kept

That is ofcourse, if you have already generated it. (By going to Settings -> "Open Configuration File")  - https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/a/11210/ (See comments)

And;
https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Running_Bitcoin#Bitcoin.conf_Configuration_File

Note: if running Bitcoin in testnet mode, the sub-folder "testnet" will be appended to the data directory automatically.

1336  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I received a job offer - is this legit? on: September 24, 2018, 07:44:22 PM
Hi!

I am a complete stranger to BitCoin, but I got offered a job described as 'customer service' helping a guy manage his wallet. He wants to create an e-wallet for me on localbitcoins.com, put his money in and then for me to carry out orders for him as he sends the details on. It seems super straight forward, and he says he is too busy to do it all himself.

Is this a legit job offer? Is it even legal? I have no idea how this stuff works and I have been trying to research it all. I don't want to agree to something that will get either of us in trouble.

I'd appreciate any help on the matter. Thanks.

(basically) Free money  & a guy who is too busy to manage it? That's already two big red flags.

Why in hell would he want someone with absolutely no experience nor history in this field to manage his money? I'm 99% sure he's attempting to scam you one way or another.

Either he's longconning to misuse your LBC identity to launder money et al, or he wants you to deposit some of your money and will probably run with it.

Okay, great. Thanks. I will wait to hear more on the matter.
Do you know this guy in real life or is he a complete stranger? That might be the deal-breaker here as you didn't really mention it.
1337  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to buy bitcoin with credit card? on: September 24, 2018, 06:39:40 PM
Hello Bro,

The best and more safety way , to me ( after lot of bad experiences..)

 Is using virwox.com

They take enormous fees compared to other exchanges. If you don't mind doing KYC, (heck you're using a Credit card anyways), you should really look for alternatives. Coinbase is extremely userfriendly, but bitstamp et al do the job just fine for 2-4% fee.

Quote
My preference is paypal. And good to know, they have a system limit to prevent fraud and chargebacks, you need buy, waiting almost 30 days, to buy again with more limit
This is a lie. Maybe they have some sort of system/no chargeback deal  with/for exchanges (which i highly doubt), but NEVER ever accept Paypal in P2P deals when trading bitcoin. Even when you send it as family and friends, it will be chargebackable. Anyone who says otherwise is usually trying to scam you.

There are lot's of reputable exchanges that offers purchase of bitcoin through credit card medium. I think I will suggest bittrex, binance and polonix if you wonna buy with credit card for you.

As far as I know all those exchanges do not accept credit card payment.

Cex.io and coinmama are the most trusted ones I know that accept credit cards as payment. The fees are higher for credit card, so consider alternative payment methods

I think they might have changed that, (bittrex), but i don't really use them so i might be wrong. https://support.bittrex.com/hc/en-us/articles/360004441491-Fiat-US-Dollar-Trading-Deposits-and-Withdrawals
1338  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: List of lightning network [ wallets & services] on: September 24, 2018, 05:27:02 PM
Hello, thanks for putting up this list. I have put online a Lightning network explorer - https://lightblock.me
Could you please add it to the list as well?  Thanks!

Lightning rocks Wink

Is it just me or is your "Network Stats'' not working?

I feel like (https://explorer.acinq.co/) is definitely the better choice for now. There's simply more information. (Node count, open channel count etc)

What exactly does your network explorer feature that this one doesn't?
1339  Economy / Reputation / Re: Negative trust for an opinion? on: September 24, 2018, 03:20:05 PM
I received negative trust for an opinion by a legendary member.  Is this allowed on the forum?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=1053331
Yep. Everyone is allowed to give ratings, whether they are credible or not.

If you think Vod is hereby abusing his DT powers, (default trust), you can open up a thread in Reputation, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=129.0

Which if considered valid by the "community/admins" (not entirely sure how it works), could remove him from DT1(?) and thus essentially voiding the effect of his rating.

(Although i doubt this is going to happen, looking at Vod's vast track record.)

EDIT: not sure what shitstorm this is going to create.  Undecided

44% more than 50% profit in 18 days? Damn..

If i were you i'd deposit a lot more funds with these kinds of returns. Compound interest on those earnings will be ridiculous. Can't really grasp why you wouldn't do so...?
