Hi guys!

What cryptocurrency exchangers do you often use?

I have been use some centralized exchange most of them in the top 10. But I have some issue with rising transaction and withdrawal fees, thats why i used to find some fresh and innovative exchange i recommend XCH4NGE to buy Ethereum,Bitcoin,XRP,Bitcoin cash, Litecoin  https://www.xch4nge.com/

Should be noted that this person is likely affiliated with said site, so take anything he says with a grain of salt.

I took the time to register on his exchange, and goddamn, it's a horrific mess. Best part, after signing up to this (what i think is a sketchy site) they dared to ask me for my ID/Passport.

Seriously, what are you thinking?
983  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitcoin debit card allow paypal withdraw ? on: March 16, 2019, 06:23:30 PM
Kinda offtopic, but i found this website on twitter recently. Looks pretty cool, although i'm not sure how legit it is.
They advertise it basically as a Mastercard, but without the need for KYC etc.

https://pungo.krd/home/

- Free card (only pay for shipping).
- Use your card in any shop that accepts #MasterCard.
- Use your card at any ATM!).
- No KYC needed!

Does anyone here have any experience with this provider, or these sorts of prepaid debit crypto cards in general? I'm pretty curious.

Hi guys!

if you're talking about "Anonymous" exchanges, i'd recommend to use P2P ones, such as Localbitcoins[1] & Paxful[2]. They offer high-privacy trading solutions, but the tradeoff here is that you'll usually pay very high fees.

If you're willing to submit your ID, and have a bank account/VISA that can do SEPA transfers etc, i'd highly recommend you use Coinbase[3], or Bitstamp[4]. You'll pay almost no fees compared to P2P, but then again, you lose all privacy.

985  Other / Meta / Re: Users should be notified when being put on DT on: March 16, 2019, 02:41:48 PM
I hope that this is indeed a new feature in the new forum, along with a shite-load of other notification options (when someone quotes you, "tags" you,  etc.)

The fact that the only thing i get a notification from on this forum is when someone PM's me (and that only works 50/50 for me???) is driving me absolutely nuts.

Some features on this forum are also so esoteric (DT, the entire trust debacle...) that i really don't see how any outsiders/newcomers can get a grip on the system in a relatively short amount of time/ at all, especially compared to other forums, (Nulled, HF). The forum could definitely be made much more user-friendly..  Undecided
986  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitcoin debit card allow paypal withdraw ? on: March 16, 2019, 11:17:05 AM
By definition it should allow, but I was a paypal user years ago and all my bank cards never worked. In fact, even when buying things especially not in my currency never worked, so I gave up.

I thought Paypal was very anti-crypto also? There should be no risk associated but I was told not to even associate anything crypto with Paypal.
Yep. They tend to limit accounts very swiftly when anything about crypto is mentioned.

If you're trading crypto, don't ever think paypal is on your side either when you have a chargeback. They'll always side against you..

If the card shown at their website represent what they are actually giving as a card then it must work because It's a Visa card. If that doesn't work out for you, check this list for alternatives (Visa cards are the only thing that works).

This is pretty interesting, so let me get this straight, i buy a wireX card, and then i can pay with bank transfers/VISA for online goods?
987  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: aBitSky.com - have anyone tried? on: March 11, 2019, 04:12:46 PM
Hey,

they eventually sent me the flight ticket, so it's definitely not a spam.

But it wasn't much usable as I needed to be sure I'll get home, so I had to bought a normal flight ticket. aBitSky eventualy sent me the ticket few hours before departure, so I couldn't be sure. Lost money for me, but the ticket was delivered, so for anyone having concerns, this company seems legit to me. They have just very bad customer service.

Lmao. You call getting your ticket "eventually" not a scam?

Hmmpfh....

Getting and being assured that you will receive your ticket on time seems like kind of a big deal to me, especially if you're paying a premium of 20%. I for one wouldn't be the one on the airport doubting whether or not some tech support dude will send me my ticket in time..

It's unfortunate people who are very much in travel need a site like this, they need to travel and at the same time spend their cryptocurrency, do we have a similar site like this may be in the future airlines will offer an ICO and launch their own token, to be used in their airlines.
Or how about...-hear this-,, you just buy a goddamn ticket using fiat money? You don't need to make an ICO for everything. Jesus christ.
988  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTB] BTC up to 25-30k eur on: March 11, 2019, 03:23:33 PM
No legit sellers here? I can also pay with Neteller

There's no way someone's going to sell you this amount anonymously.
Call me a sales thrasher but that's just the facts.

I know a service which might want to sell you ~10k worth of bitcoin through SEPA w/out verification. I can't vouch for them, and haven't extensively researched them. You can PM me if you want.
989  Economy / Services / Re: Want to make A LOT of money with your LBC account? on: March 11, 2019, 03:04:18 PM
He wants you to contact him on a telegram account he hasn't logged into for atleast a week.

I think this offer is/was dead in the water, and if it wasn't it would be extremely sketchy and probably some sort of money laundering scheme of OP.

It seems we have here a new scam method. There is another thread, (possibly created by alt of this topic opener) https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5118308.0

quote for reference

Loading LBC wallets with large sums of btc. Process is fast and transparent. You enable your 2fa for your security. Must have old and high rated account 100+ trades 500+ trades or higber, 100% feedback. We split 50/50.

Its fast we make money usually 4 to 6 hours or faster.

If you have an account and you want to make money today send me a message now!

Telegram: @mcgregorbtc

If this OP is the same OP as OP, it's indeed 100% a scam/Money laundering scheme/theft of stolen funds. No way someone can make a profit sharing 50/50 in any realistic business model.
990  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: 🌟 Buying Bitcoins with PayPal 🌟 on: March 09, 2019, 07:01:16 PM
Why would someone trust his bitcoins for payment method that can be charged back?
Especially from newbie without any reputation
Yeah, you don't need to, I'm not forcing you to buy from me, if you came here for an explanation, you won't get one cause there's nothing I can tell you.
I might have no reputation, but I sure don't have -31.
No one here will offer you a 1:1 trade for paypal funds.

1. because you can chargeback, and have no prior history here. and;
2. 1:1 is simply not worth it. I won't make any profit ever.

If you have a verified paypal account from EU (verified with non-vba that is), (especially NL/BE/GER/CH), PM me, and i might have a method where you can buy BTC for ~5% rate. (Although, there are no garantuees.)

991  Other / Meta / Re: Read: Account guidelines prohibited. on: March 09, 2019, 04:30:43 PM
If not for merit hunting the content of the thread would be different and more useful for the forum rather than creating thia thread which the reference already explain the rules that you have to follow and it has been discussed several time here in the forum.
Seconding this.

I'm getting sick of all the people trying to teach others the forum rules while posting in broken english. when they're really only doing it in hopes of catching a few merits.

All aboard the circlejerk!

993  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Unknown BTC transactions go IN and OUT of my wallet on: March 08, 2019, 07:13:53 PM
LoyceV and Pmalek..  Thank you for looking into it.   I do agree with you and that's what I started to think as well that I don't actually own my key.   Yikes ...not ideal.

I do use the Ledger Live app and I will try to do as you suggested and look at the incoming transactions but I believe that the receiving address is the correct one because I did receive BTC that I bought from Coinbase to this exact address.

The bottom line is, I don't want to keep my funds in this address any longer.  The reason why I keep it in the cold storage is so no one would control my wallet.  So my question now is can I transfer my BTC to a different address within the ledger wallet?  Will it create a new address where I will own my wallets' master key?  thanks!

Ehh, if you don't own "your" "key", how about the adress was never belonging to you in the first place? I fail to understand how that is not a possibility (if not the answer, as LoyceV mentioned?)

Quote

If your wallet was compromised, surely the attackers would've taken your funds. "Laundering money" through someone else's adresses to avoid taxes is also not how it works, and would be just plain useless.

That wouldn't solve the problem of your wallet supposedly being compromised. If you really think it is, you should reset it, https://cryptosec.info/how-to-reset-ledger-wallet/, export your seed of the current wallet into a safe desktop wallet (Electrum), and make a transaction from there to your new ledger adress.

Doing anything else would just give you a false sense of security. (That is, if your ledger was really compromised, which from the info i'm getting, don't think is the case here).

Note that i'd recommend making a backup before doing so, and maybe not doing it at all if you don't understand what you're doing.
994  Other / Meta / Re: Theymos OUT OF CONTROL !!! on: March 07, 2019, 02:51:50 PM
I'm not keeping up with the cryptohunter drama, nor have i read the thread, but i just felt to point this out;

It's really sad to see that all of these threads/posts complaining about the state of the forum basically boil down to typing down as much as you can.

@Thule @Cryptohunter, do you seriously think ANYONE is still keeping up with the walls of garbage you're writing down?

Half of the forum is illiterate/can't speak basic english. You really think this is the best way to get your point across?

At this point: No one cares. The world nor the forum revolves around you.
995  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Coldcard question on: March 01, 2019, 06:48:42 PM
Probably because electrum detected the wrong derivation path for your wallet. Eg BIP32 when it should've been BIP44. (Since i read that Coldcard is bip39 based?)
BIP39 based, which means you can backup the secret words onto paper, and have lots of sub-accounts and unlimited independent payment addresses.

Have you tried this guide, and does this resolve your issue? https://coldcardwallet.com/docs/quick

Quote
Using Coldcard Offline
Steps:

secure quality MicroSD cards of small size
on the Coldcard, go to: Advanced > MicroSD Card > Electrum Wallet
read and approve the warning message, like this:
skeleton wallet warning

a new file, new-wallet.json, is written to the MicroSD
remove card, take to a computer running Electrum
your Electrum client must have the Coldcard plugin enabled
open the wallet file, and wait for sync to complete.
you may want to keep the wallet file (which now has many additional details about change addresses and so on) elsewhere on your computer.
your new wallet will use old-style (not segwit) payment addresses for maximum compatibility
When you want to spend from this wallet:

open the wallet in Electrum
setup your new transaction as usual
choose Preview transaction, then the "Save PSBT" button
you can save directly to your MicroSD card.
use a short file name that describes transaction or has the date; must end in .PSBT
move that card to the Coldcard
select "Ready to Sign" from main menu of the Coldcard
pick today's PSBT file from the list (if there is more than one on the card)
approve the details of the transaction
the resulting transaction will be saved back to the card, under the same filename with new ending: -final.txn
use any copy of Electrum, or a public service to push the hex-encoded transaction from that file
for example, in Electrum, use Tools > Load transaction > From file
996  Other / Meta / Re: How to tell which mod actually deletes a post? on: February 28, 2019, 09:24:52 PM
Does it not show somewhere who deleted?

I don't think it does. I don't think the modlog came with the SMF software in the first place, and it just simply isn't something that has ever been implemented/programmed into the "custom" modlog?

Does anyone know if this is different on epoch?

If you have posts that are deleted and you think there's some personal reason behind it, you can always start a thread charade, in which i'm guessing the chances of the mod in question responding to you are pretty high.

997  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [SERVICE] Buy all items from Amazon 35% discount on: February 28, 2019, 06:47:56 PM
Is this a refunding service or are you actually paying for these items?

Might be smart to elaborate a bit more if what you're doing is actually legal and or moral, as such high % off can usually only mean one thing....

998  Economy / Services / Re: Selling Cheap AdSense Clicks - No Risks 100% Guaranteed on: February 28, 2019, 12:55:49 PM
Why only paypal payment ? not going to consider crypto ?
I think this is not valid or legal.
Also, it doesn't matter how safely op click on your ads it will get banned definitely from Google. Mostly Google analyse those all clicks just before payment or end of month. And don't think vpn will work for this.
This is indeed illegal/ against their TOS.

And...... It simply... doesn't work. No matter where the clicks are coming from. Take my word for it, if you have a site with relatively high clicks, (but no conversions, (aka people who actually buy products), adsense is going to place some flags.

Also, if you don't have continous traffic on your site, there is no way in hell this is going to work, and if you do have continous organic traffic, why the hell would you need this?

999  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: US Non-VoIP Voice & Text Verification | www.textverified.com | Free Vouch copies on: February 27, 2019, 05:49:00 PM
Although i haven't been asked to vouch or received any vouches, i can say that this service really does deliver.

Ordered a number on SMSPVA for a service, said service immediately blocked the number after verification.
Meanwhile when i used textverified, albeit it being a bit more expensive, the verification didn't get blocked and my account is still going strong.

Thanks.
1000  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Wallet at bitcoin.de on: February 27, 2019, 01:14:36 PM
So my questions:  Do I get a new empty wallet, when I register at bitcoin.de ?
Or is there a possibility to create one after having registered ?
No, you use their already existing wallets. I'm not sure exactly, but they probably simply assign a deposit adress to your account, and use that in combination with a DB to keep track of your funds.

Every time when I try to login at "bitcoin.de" from my desktop PC,
I have to wait for an E-Mail TAN as a 2. step for the login.
This takes about 20 minutes every time.

I have a windows-smartphone. Is there a possibility to make this login quicker
                            by using my mobile-phone ?
I'm not sure. I doubt a lot of people here have experience with bitcoin.de, so it might be smarter to contact their support on this matter. (As bitcoin.de does NOT represent bitcoin as a whole, if that was what you were thinking.)

Alternatively, you could download a wallet for your Windows Phone and store your bitcoins on there. It's safer, and probably much faster to access.

If you still do not receive our e-mail with LoginTAN, please contact us via our contact form, https://www.bitcoin.de/en/kontakt.
