And so once the money in the fund runs out the payouts stop, causing most of your "investors" to lose money, as you're taking a 17% cut.

It might be transparent, but it's still extremely scummy and a pyramid scheme where i can't fathom how most people will even be able to even break-even.

Would AVOID this project at all times.

Great stuff. My etherium is participating !!!
You're bound to lose money, but hey, you're a ponzi promoter, so you probably know better than me what you're doing.

What the h... did i just read? Is this even english?

This is enough to fill the desire to be a good quality and a reputable member in this community, it will give newbies some hope that they have the chance to be appreciated if they sarifice some time and effort in studying how this forum works and what cryptocurrency is.

If there were only active merit sources in this community this forum will be much better, thus creating more great member and crypto enthusiast.
I don't think the problem as of right now is the amount of active merit sources, but rather the threshold/bar for what is deemed a "Merit-worthy" post. I think it's quite high,  which is pretty detrimental for most newbies, as their post quality is just not that good most of the times.

(=resulting in them not getting any merits at all, even if some of their posts are helpful to users.)

Why don't i buy this story?  Roll Eyes -- Oh wait, i think i know why.

it clears at least 1% daily

There would be absolutely no reason to sell/license it if this was the case. 4000% interest a year. That sounds RIDICULOUS.

Quote
I'm a new user of ReggieBot ( to be exact developers provided me with a free account so i can share results with the community )

Ironically, the account you're using has been inactive for 5 months, and all of a sudden it comes back to post about reggiebot? Atleast be honest; you're obviously heavily affiliated if not the creator of the bot. (Which is something people should keep in mind when looking at the results of the "bot".)

The only thing i could find about the bot besides your twitter;

These 3 are from https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5018533.40, they're definitely using some sort of text spinning bot.

Original: (Although it's probably spinned aswell)

They are earning this much just by using this extension. Are you sure? It seems unreal and not possible. Nothing comes easily in this world.

Some copies that were extremely obvious

"They are earning this abundant simply by victimization this extension. ar you sure? It looks unreal and uphill. Nothing comes simply during this world.
"

They are picking up this much reasonable by utilizing this development. Are you past any question? It shows up staggering and not conceivable. Nothing comes successfully in this world.

They are gaining this much fair by utilizing this expansion. Are you beyond any doubt? It appears stunning and not conceivable. Nothing comes effectively in this world.

The thread itself is filled with people constantly rephrasing each other. I'm not entirely sure whether or not that's bannable, but it's extremely annoying. Some examples below:

There's over 20 replies just today on a thread which has been dead for 2/3 days. I'm suspecting that this might be a single farmer.

this sounds unreal and too good to be true. but i don't know. i want to know more about this. If you want to get $50k a month you should start trading in crypto market. it will make your profit.

that is unreal sound i think it's better to buy bitcoin and hold for a good time. when bitcoin price will grow up than you can sale and get profit its normal. but i have no idea crypto tab i want to know more about this.

I don't know what cryptotab i think That sounds unreal and too good to be true. but i want to know more about this. If you get 50k a month you should start trading in crypto market.

if cryptomarket is that much easy than in the world we will see all the people are rich. without believing on this type of topic we should attentive on our invest and trade.

Cryptotab might be able to get someone a certain amount of money. But I seriously doubt that the amount would be this much. If this could possible, people would have gone rich by this way.

1365  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can the Google Chrome extension Cryptotab really get you $50,000 a month? on: September 09, 2018, 07:14:28 PM
No replies since the 7th of august and all of a sudden today there's 20 new replies from Jr members rehashing the same answer over and over again...

"They are earning this abundant simply by victimization this extension. ar you sure? It looks unreal and uphill. Nothing comes simply during this world.
"

Why don't you ask

Nothing great comes effectively in this world. I tell you no browser expansion can get you this much cash. its fake. you ought to remain absent. Gaining cash isn't this simple.

Or
They are earning this much just by using this extension. Are you sure? It seems unreal and not possible. Nothing comes easily in this world.

Wow. It's almost as if you're using some sort of text spinner bot.

I think that is a very good news for a investor.its depends on how many people are referrals.as an investor i think that is a good opportunity for bitcoin user

You must either have the IQ of a rock, or be a twelve y/old to think so.

Sure thing, I've used the service before without any issues. This time I deposited 1 amount, and went to step 2. My computer crashed but I had the key saved so I was able to restore the session. When I got back in, there was a small amount in there but the full amount hasn't loaded. For example lets say I put in 0.2, and there was only 0.01 in the session. I'm not sure where the issue is.

That seems definitely off, and if this is really the case i'm pretty sure it could be fixed rather easily by simply sending a ticket that includes the txid where it says you transferred 0.2 instead of the 0.01 you were credited.

1367  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Shapeshift Membership on: September 08, 2018, 07:04:44 PM
"Membership" .... LOL. Roll Eyes

I suppose this was inevitable. If a centralized service gets big enough, regulators come knocking. And then comes the KYC. Oh well, it was a good run. How's Changelly these days? Tongue

Probably couldn't be happier with the news. In the case of Shapeshift though, their CEO apparently has been for many years resistant to kyc needs and avid supporter of privacy, and since he's not said anything public, one can only assume he's done this move in the corporate interest of his company and employees. Tough but I think he just killed his business model. The very service itself was based on that concept. But I think I saw this coming once they stepped in and froze stolen funds (from some exchange hack in South Korea if I recall). Everyone and enforcement thought it was a good thing, but once the precedent had been set, there really was no going back

I think that he did make some comments on twitter, and it really was giving off a feeling that he was definitely pressured into doing this. -- Either by Feds or investors in his company. It's a shame though, since Shapeshift is a pretty useful service.

When he's asked whether or not he's forced to implement it, his response is this.

Not appropriate to discuss on Twitter.
Sounds like someone is definitely forcing his hand. Whether it be law enforcement or his investors?
Nobody wants to scan an ID and send it to us. We know that... it's a horrible thing to force people to do.

Then why do it...  Lips sealed
1368  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Somebody can explain what is block-chain is and why we do mining? on: September 08, 2018, 09:25:04 AM
I cannot understand how my processor earns bitcoin, and who gives me it!?
The best way to find this out is to probably google it. I doubt most people here will explain it better than most articles do.

Simple answer:
Quote
I tell three friends that I'm thinking of a number between 1 and 100, and I write that number on a piece of paper and seal it in an envelope. My friends don't have to guess the exact number, they just have to be the first person to guess any number that is less than or equal to the number I am thinking of. And there is no limit to how many guesses they get.

It's explained more in-depth in the article with other examples & technicalities. -> https://www.investopedia.com/tech/how-does-bitcoin-mining-work/

1370  Other / Archival / Re: [ANN] [banned mixer] - Because Your Privacy Matters! New Bitcoin Mixer is Launched on: September 07, 2018, 05:29:10 PM
You're offering a service that you can't prove -- something that's simply based on your word and a hefty 5% fee?

How can we as "customers" actually verify that our coins have been mixed correctly/are 100% "clean", when they're going through dozens of third parties, who may at a later point disclose all this information to LE?

Quote
which we purchase from cryptocurrency stock exchangesp
It seems like by doing this you're actually making an (unbreakable) trail, instead of removing it. Especially if you're using a somewhat regulated exchange...

This seems like the most ideal route;

User A -> Mixtum deposit adress Y =/= Mixtum deposit adress X of user B -> Exchange X deposit adress Y-> *Exhange* Exchange X deposit adress Z-> (Mixtum adress Z) -> receiving adress of User A.

Now, depending on what exchange you're using, it seems as if coins can still be traced up until they're dirty again, especially if there's law enforcement involved.. Huh
(It does break the trail, but you'll still have the (potentially) dirty coins of B associated with you..)
What exactly is this magic formula that involves exchanges and completely clean coins?
1371  Other / Meta / Re: Marketplace Discussion and Suggestions on: September 07, 2018, 03:55:14 PM
I think that simply disabling locked threads & self moderated threads for anyone under Hero/Legendary would go a long way aswell. It's mostly newbies posting autobuy links.

(Maybe completely prohibit the sales that are making use of autobuy links too? Most if not all of them are scams..)

Quote
Mod Approval of Marketplace Threads - this one I list first because I think it's the most important one. Without this, my other suggestions don't make much sense. Each and every Marketplace thread has to be approved by a mod, otherwise, it won't be posted. I realize mods are people too, but I think a lot of people and high ranking members would be happy to be mods for free OR they can be paid out of my next suggestions:

I doubt this will happen - what are the rules that determines whether or not your thread is worthy of being posted? Seems like there is a massive room for bias here.

  • Paid Marketplace Threads - now this can be a separate solution OR it can even be implemented along with the paid membership. What this means is 1 service - 1 thread, around $20 per thread I think is a fair price and will help keep sellers and services organized(myself included).
So, we're gonna be needing a membership fee and another for posting a thread?
Bitcointalk will going to be a forum with a multi-million dollar revenue with this, theymos will gonna like this.
With that budget, Epochtalk will be up in no time.

I myself could probably reinvent the wheel for that budget too.

An 18 word seed could/should be BIP39/BIP44? As per https://iancoleman.io/bip39/

You could try this tool -> https://github.com/iancoleman/bip39 (Always run this offline!)

I have 18 words seed "spray inject ... ... ... "
And i have some password/secret key or private key "GVzPYhu............................"  (35 letters total)
35 letters sounds like it's an adress - not a private key, but even then, the prefixes are all wrong.

Might it be the adress prefix of a specific altcoin?

Gulden for example uses "GZaubDd2cadyyoc5UB2ZEwdFxSivybnUVD"  - the same prefix.
1373  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Alternative to shapeshift.io on: September 06, 2018, 07:46:06 PM
I would say the best alternative to Shapeshift is Coinswitch exchange. It is an exchange aggregator of many leading exchanges. It supports more than 400 cryptocurrencies. Without creating multiple accounts, the user can trade all the coins at 1 place. No KYC is required for trading any cryptocurrency.

The main reasons why you have to choose Coinswitch are:

Except for the fact that, as far as i understand it, they're not an alternative to anything.

They're simply an intermediary between the customer and exchanger, adding another unnecessary party to the transaction which claims additional fees etc..

Quote
Independent of the users personal details. /  No KYC is required for trading any cryptocurrency.

How can you claim this when you're making use of the exchanges that do have/are implementing these features. (ShapeShift, Changelly) Do you KYC identify as an exchange for every customer you have on said exchanges?
1374  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: ⭐⭐⭐ Crypto Advertising Tool ⭐⭐⭐ on: September 06, 2018, 06:23:36 PM
We are sending messages from clients Linkedin profiles thus they can answer to their clients their own as no one else knows their business better than they are.

Pricing:

Making a target audience - 60$ (one-time payment)
Each message sent - 0.15$

It would cost you 135$ for 500 messages which we can do in a few hours time but manually sending them would take you days. We are making your day more productive thus more profitable!

I doubt sending spam to people on LinkedIn would be a good idea. I personally would find it extremely unprofessional and would never invest in such an ICO/project that uses such services to promote their project.

I'm pretty sure this is also against the TOS of Linkedin, making it potentially fraudulent.

Use bots or other automated methods to access the Services, add or download contacts, send or redirect messages;
1375  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: NexusBot.io - Best Crypto Trading Bot on: September 06, 2018, 05:32:35 PM
Sounds interesting, but i'm extremely skeptical and not sure what to expect at the same time. Does your bot work the same way as Gunbot, but for free?

I simply download the app & put in my api keys of said exchange? That sounds like a quick way for you to misuse my keys & run off with my funds.
I can't find any reviews about your service either.

1376  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] [EXCHANGE] Polyx - Cryptocurrency Exchange on: September 06, 2018, 04:47:53 PM
Uhh, your site doesn't seem to be working, at least not on chrome.

When i try to register using my email & pass, nothing happens. No error message, no redirect whatsoever. You might want to look into that. I checked both of the boxes too.

I'm not particulary impressed with the site's design & your features. Just saying, you're going to have a rough time competing. Nothing really stands out.

Also -- you're saying you have BTC/USD pairs. What type of accounts does your exchange require? Full KYC compliant or? Users might be interested in knowing that.
1377  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Shapeshift Membership on: September 06, 2018, 03:46:38 PM
you can try:
 - https://www.shiftex.io/: I tried it once and worked fine, I do not know the current situation
Shiftex.io simply uses the API of either Shapeshift/Changelly/Evercoin(?) Doesn't really look like a valid alternative.

https://flyp.me/ looks decent, although i have never heard of them before.

I'm afraid that sooner rather than later another Instant exchange such as Changelly is going to completely dominate the market.

I wouldn't trust Changelly with my clinkers, let alone any money.

Read the responses of their support on Reddit and tell me that sounds like a place KYC free - https://www.reddit.com/user/changelly_com

Are you talking about https://www.reddit.com/r/Monero/comments/9cqmm2/do_not_use_changelly_they_steal_monero/e5danwt/?context=3

That seems like exactly the same situation ChangeNow.io is in, the only difference here is that changelly is not getting flamed for it? Why is this not a big deal?

Am i missing something?

Quote
Please kindly note that our customers are always being warned in case their transactions become a subject of the KYC procedure. Once they accept our terms, they must follow them that includes providing their data to our security department if necessary. After verification on our end, their accounts get whitelisted so that customers are able to make further transactions of any amount without extra check.

So once you accept their terms they can ask you for KYC data any time they want w/out providing information as to why.. Guess i'll be avoiding this exchange aswell.

1379  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are the most popular consensus? on: September 05, 2018, 06:09:29 PM
Here is a list based on the book Mastering Blockchain (you mentioned the first two):

Proof of Work - based on users having spent computational resources
Proof of Stake - based on users owning enough stakes in the system
Delegated Proof of Stake - based on voting, which is based on stakes owned
Proof of Elapsed Time - Hyperledger technology, not sure how it works
Deposit-based consensus - based on security deposits
Proof of importance - like PoS but how the users use their coins also comes into play
Federated consensus - publicly trusted validators decide on the consensus
Reputation-based mechanisms - electing a leader based on reputation

Additional mechanisms that you haven't yet listed.

Proof of Burn
Practical Byzantine fault tolerant Mechanism
Proof of Identity
They're explained in the article. I've never heard about them before. Sounds pretty interesting.

This article also explains 4 other (Which i think are) consensus mechanisms.

9. Direct Acyclic Graphs (DAGs)
4. Proof of Activity
3. Proof of Capacity
2. Proof of Authority (PoA)

I have no clue if these are even applicable in cryptocurrencies at all. Some if not most of them sound pretty far-fetched.
