1061  Other / Meta / Re: DefaultTrust changes on: January 11, 2019, 05:36:37 PM
Everyone should add ~Lauda to their trust settings ,

That should exclude the slut, since her ratings are all biased on the following

1. She does not like you.
2. You beat her in an argument
3. Your Escrow Service is better than her escrow service
4. You point out she is a crook that steal others money.

 Cool

And let me guess, all of the above apply to you?

Theymos is a coward
Vod is a child rapist
Lauda is a known extortionist and her mouth is Theymos personal cock holster
achow101 is a dumb anal dwelling censorship butt monkey.
Tman is a mere dumb ass kissing child.

Hmmm. Maybe there's something you're not telling here.
1062  Other / Meta / Re: Please stop make new topic regarding "DT" complain until Monday. on: January 11, 2019, 03:14:47 PM
cryptohunter, I’ve read the accusations against Lauda & if true then it is VERY questionable that he/she is on DT1.....but innocent until proven guilty etc.
What bothers me more though is your constant whining, will you SHUT THE FUCK UP!

It seems your life depends on this fight with Lauda. Nearly every DT thread in Meta you’re there moaning, it’s getting boring & I’m sure I’m not the only one thinking it.
Indeed.

Regardless of the merits of the accusation he is making, he has already lost all sympathy from me, and it'll be hard for me to ever believe anything he says, considering how much offtopic shit he is constantly spewing out in every thread possible.

I'm not entirely sure if you noticed @cryptohunter, but you're really doing your case more harm than good by posting like this.

<...>
I'm starting to get a little bit sick of the moral police that's patrolling the forum nowadays. People are gonna post what they're gonna post yo.

I mean sure, it would probably be better if some of these threads weren't created, but come on, you really think this topic will do anything about it? People have been spamming crap 10x worse than this for years, so i really doubt this topic will do much.
1063  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Litecoin Giveaway SCAM or TRUSTED? on: January 10, 2019, 08:07:52 PM
Seems like a scam.. The person in the picture says he x10'd? That is EXTREMELY unlikely.

http://ltcgiveaway.com/ - this site is 100% a ponzi scheme.

I'm starting to wonder whether you're serious about thinking this is legit, or if you're simply promoting this, either way, you're nuts.

they're impersonating the ""Litecoin "Team"""......  Roll Eyes

This will either turn into a Bollywood broadcasting center or people constantly trolling/mic spamming though?

I also don't see how it fits the current nor future forum's culture/aesthetics? A radio centre? I mean come on. There's lots of sites where you can listen to podcasts about bitcoin or w/e, i don't really see any reason why Bitcointalk.org should build it's own...?

this may be not all about crypto.
And so how is it in any way related to Bitcointalk?
1065  Economy / Reputation / Re: if its possible for Lauda, will possible for me to <3 i will be back forum <3 on: January 10, 2019, 06:37:23 PM
I don't see what Lauda has to do with a trust given by suchmoon?
1066  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Moving BTC from bitcoin.com wallet on: January 09, 2019, 04:48:15 PM

Or is it possible to input my keys/seed in a different wallet and send the BTC from there?

Yes, it should be.
I'm not that familiar with Bitcoin.com's wallet, but if you have a seed, definitely try to import it into an SPV such as Electrum, and see if that works.

This guide shows how to export your Bitcoin.COM keys? https://www.bitcoin.com/guides/how-to-import-and-export-bitcoin-private-keys
Those are importable to electrum.

Electrum allows you to set your own fee, which can/is usually lower than the "Economy" settings of those webwallets. (Down to 1 sat/b)

1067  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: MERITS: Will doing this be uncertain, or should I do this? on: January 08, 2019, 03:47:09 PM

Based on your theory, should only members with higher ranks or at least Full members with high activity be looked in, to see if they've got something informative and helpful to the forum? As almost 99% newbies are completely new to this concept and many of them don't even know the basics of Bitcoin, how can we expect such above-average posts from them? They can learn and say something in their words but most of them fail to make it look a well-said post.
..Then they don't "deserve" merit? I'm pretty sure the system was/is intended to work this way.

I agree though, for the average newbie, it's not going to be easy to rank up.
When placing myself in their shoes, i'm pretty sure i would've not received any/a lot of merits either for my first half year of posting here.

What I wish to know: If I allocate some or all of my merits to a person I feel that they deserve it and that they should rank up, is it really fine if I do it like that way?
If you're willing to shake off probably a dozen allegations of the account in question being your alt (As i'm pretty sure no user has ever received more than 250 merit in 1 go..?)  sure.
1068  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: is there anyway to get my bitcoins back? on: January 04, 2019, 01:30:39 PM
So i bought some bitcoins on 2014 and i had them on my multibit wallet. I had sent the "wallet" to my email but im not sure if i did it correctly back then. So now i have a wallet file in my email but when i open it with the multibit classic it says there is no money in there. I also dont remember my "keywords". So i was just wondering if there is any way i could get my bitcoins back?  Huh

Hmm. Are you sure that multibit classic wallet is connecting correctly?

Do you have any of the backups listed here, https://multibit.org/help/v0.5/help_fileDescriptions.html ?

Also, i must say that i am really not that familiar with Multibit, but when you open your wallet, you say the totalling balance is 0, correct?

Are you able to see your adress/corresponding private keys? Since Multibit Classic is no longer supported, it might be smart to try and export those into Bitcoin Core/Electrum?

Or, alteratively, follow this article; https://multibit.org/help/v0.5/help_movingAWallet.html (although i do not recommend webwallets for long-term storage!)

Or before you do so, check the balances from the top adresses in a blockexplorer such as https://blockchair.com/ ?
1069  Economy / Services / Looking for someone who can program a small bot. on: January 01, 2019, 10:19:39 PM
I'm looking for someone who can program a small bot that automates a couple of things. (Modifying buy/sell orders, and checking if they're the closest match for the buyer/seller mostly.)

Most will probably be possible to do through an api that is provided by the service itself, although i'm afraid that you can't fetch certain orders. i'm not sure how much i should ask for this.

If you're interested in coding this, please PM me so i can go into detail about what's needed to be done, what service this is about and more specifications etc. and how much is a fair price for this.

1070  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS]Amazon gift cards uk de 90% discount on: January 01, 2019, 02:41:48 PM
Are these supplied with receipts? How can you assure us they are not carded or illegally obtained in some way?

I don't think he can/he will. I don't see how/why he would sell them for 90% off if they were legit.

If they were actually legit i'd know tons of ways to get a higher return yield than just 10%. There's no way this dude doesn't.

So, he's probably selling carded cards. I don't know about Divanoff, but it looks like it's a sockpuppet from OP.

1071  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ADBIT.BIZ - SCAM on: January 01, 2019, 02:12:57 PM

I deposited 0.1 BTC 1 week ago to my https://adbit.biz account, and still they have not credited my account.

Their support and email is not replying, so I think this is very obvious scam.

Hmm. That seems.. like a stupid thing to do? Could you link your transaction ID?

Also, i think it's worth mentioning that you shouldn't have used adbit.biz in the first place, due to the fact that they accept fake traffic. Regardless of whether or not they credit your balance, they're still scammers for doing so.

Their top website on which they have banners is:

http://lumina.tin.vn/

This site has an alexa of 1 million, no HTTPS, and a layout that dates back to 2009, with no relevant content.

Yet:

It receives over 3000 clicks on their ads daily? Whut?

1072  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Which wallet still support sending bitcoin with 0 fee? on: December 29, 2018, 06:12:30 PM
Hi. I need a wallet that support sending bitcoin with 0 fee. I tried electrum but i get that server can send transaction with 0 fee, i tried blockchain info but say is needed minimum 1sat/byte fee.

Anyone know any wallet that still support 0 fee?
I think i’ve read somewhere that you can use Bitcoin core with
Code:
 -minrelaytxfee
and
Code:
-mintxfee
set to 0? (Or 0.00000001)That should allow the broadcasting of a transaction with little to no fees at all.

https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/48235/what-is-the-minrelaytxfee

EDIT: This probably is no longer possible as LoyceV suggests?
1073  Other / Meta / Re: Wall of fame / shame. Shit posts so bad that they are actually funny on: December 29, 2018, 04:43:34 PM
I did a deep dive into this guy and I have not found anything that would lead me to the conclusion that he is committing a scam.  To let you know a little about myself i have spent 26 years in the US military and one of my assignments was dealing with contract fraud cases with the AFOSI  I was watching this guy on you tube and was impressed on his ability to teach and show why he was recommending the coin.  I wanted to do a quick check on the internet and saw all these concerns about him having many businesses. him being wanted from the law and I just stopped and said that's to bad and went about my business.  Then I saw Jsip4 show where he got a letter from somebody and was reading it saying oh I this guy has mult businesses and is wanted buy the USA.  I said wait a god damn sec.  if he is wanted by the Feds they would have nabbed him.  he is on you tube and you can see where he works. I said okay I am looking into this guy. It turns out yes he did leave the states but he left because it is difficult to do be a cripto manager with all the rules.   He had a bunch of jobs because that is what you have to do to boot strap your own business and feed himself.  these are the new business people they are not from a well healed university with plenty of backing these guys are from the streets they have to do it from the bottom up.  so they have multiple streams of income and only a few produce.  that is the new business model is. Minorities have it difficult still they have trouble getting loans and simple things like business relationships  so they have to go all out to make rent and feed themselves.  they are looking to build a business.  So now this guy has found a good fit.  He has 20 employees who will do anything for the boss. they love this guy.  the hit piece that jsip4 did on him is criminal.  He said he had a bunch of jobs  well so what most all of them do.  he said that you give him 20 bitcoin and he will manage your funds.  NO he will manage your 20 bitcoin and grow it and he charges only on profit.  no profit no charge.  he said he pumps and dumps tokens  no he give guy suggestion to his paid subscribers two days later he gives them to the free subscribers  then 3 days later he might do a video where is does not bs you he says this is why it is a 100X token  he then teaches you some insights you will not find anywhere.  I encourage you to just list to one of his videos to see that this is a special talent.  that talent is to teach.  To watch him at the conferences you can tell he is on a different level  while the crowd was having coffee taking pictures  he was over with his cam saying look at the age of the attendees they are older  the establishment is here   look at Accenture look how big there booth is.  the big money is coming  .  That is the kind of insight you will not get.    I am predicting that after all this nonsense is clear up you will not be about to get in.  there is a wave of people coming in and they do not want to manage there stack like we do.  it will be him that will be the choice.  I am 100% convinced he is no scammer.  I will challenge anyone to a debate live on youtube to discredit my finding or this guy.  On a side note there is paid detractors on all social media.  look it up on you tube  they get paid buy the screenshot.  they are manipulating us the investor learn to spot them and call them out.   I am open to a debate on this anytime on your tube and I will bring records.  go watch Jsip4 and see what I am talking about he did not even fact check a email sent to him.  He should be condemned for trying to destroy a small business.  J you should be ashamed   Clif High would not be proud to defend you after what you did.   after you do your own checking please do the community a favor and lets get this guy the credit he is trying to earn. Help get his name back so he can run a business.   He is a great teacher even if you don't plan to invest with him... oh by the way he will talk about your coin for free if it is a good one.  ask John MacaFee if he is willing to do that.
New copypasta?
1074  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum Phishing Update on: December 29, 2018, 03:22:53 PM
So in resume as long the user dont download the software in the notification the transactions can be done safely?

I believe so yes. If you get a pop-up, i think the best thing you can do is force-close electrum, and connect to another server.

The only way to lose your funds AFAIK, is to download the fake electrum, and then run it.

It might be possible that it can only steal your credentials (seed, private key) after you entered them in the "Fake" Electrum wallet, but i wouldn't be so sure of that, especially if your original electrum wallet file wasn't encrypted.
1075  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: There has been an increased number of "fake" electrums out there, be careful. on: December 29, 2018, 01:41:45 PM
So what you're saying is that Ledger Nano is paired with electrum/using the same servers? Huh.

Do you have any sources on that? i find that hard to believe.
<..>

That isn't by default though? if you use their chrome app, (which most people do i'm pretty sure) you obviously won't use electrum servers? and instead use their centralized servers?
1076  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where I can get a list of Bitcoin based cryptocurrencies on: December 29, 2018, 01:10:54 PM
Hi all!

How can I get list of all bitcoin-based cryptocurrencies  such as Dash, Dogecoin, Litecoin, what else ?

Hmm. I'm also trying to figure out what exactly you mean by "Bitcoin-Based", you mean every coin that is forked/cloned from BTC' codebase, or simply using the same SHA-256 algorithm?

For algorithms, you could use https://cryptorival.com

In the past there was a site called; https://mapofcoins.com/bitcoin/ which showed which coins were a fork/based on bitcoin, but it seems to be dead now. Maybe there are some archived versions somewhere?

<...>
As of May 2016 they are tracking a total of 710 cryptocurrencies. Of those, 667 are based on Bitcoin's code, which is 94%!
Ofcourse, this was over 2 years ago, so things are probably very different now.
1077  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: There has been an increased number of "fake" electrums out there, be careful. on: December 29, 2018, 11:35:17 AM

I believe (someone should correct me if i'm wrong, since i am far from an expert on hardware wallets.) all transactions made on a Ledger Nano S are done through their own servers, which are owned by no one but the corporation behind Ledger Nano S, so chances that this will happen on their devices/chrome app seems rather slim.

(They'd have to be the ones sabotaging their own servers, which wouldn't make any sense..?)
No, transactions made on a hardware wallet paired with Electrum are done through Electrum servers.
So what you're saying is that Ledger Nano is paired with electrum/using the same servers? Huh.

Do you have any sources on that? i find that hard to believe.

Everything source i find points towards Ledger Nano S having specific servers ran only by the company behind the nano S.

I don't think any of the popular hardware wallets connect to Electrum servers?
1078  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: There has been an increased number of "fake" electrums out there, be careful. on: December 28, 2018, 08:26:38 PM
Every infected computer is vulnerable.
When using a HW wallet on an infected computer, the malware could modify the inputs you send to the HW wallet.
If you verify every detail on the HW wallet itself you should be safe.

However if you don't, you will be vulnerable to this kind of attack.

That is totally unrelated as to whether an Electrum-esque attack as we've just seen can happen with Ledger software, to which the answer probably is; no. (due to the ledger servers being solely operated by they themselves.)

Quote

The electrum attack that happend also affected non-infected users... which per your criteria, shouldn't be possible?

1079  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: There has been an increased number of "fake" electrums out there, be careful. on: December 28, 2018, 06:38:49 PM
Hi to all, I've shared fishing warning with Russian-speaking community  but a have a question whether the hardware based clients ( like Ledger nano s) are vulnerable to such kind of attack? Basically they're  light clients and rely on 3-rd parties servers.

Same boat as op, been using virwox but PP disabled. Looking for weekly/monthly etc buys.
<...>

Paxful isn't an option for you guys?

I'm afraid that without verifying your ID you won't get any acceptable deals. (Meaning that you'll probably have to pay 20-25% fees. I'm not sure how much virwox charged, but i doubt it was that much.)
