741  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Which Mixer is getting axed next? on: May 30, 2019, 12:18:49 PM

Also, I'm hoping more mixers will be created so they will fill the loss of the mixers recently not operating anymore.
You can bet that that will happen.

Look at the darknet markets, even if there's a high risk involved in operating it, there are still people willing to take that risk. I don't think it's any different with bitcoin mixers..

But you have to ask yourself how trustworthy these new mixers really are when they're going to start popping up soon. (They aren't...)

And even if they put some BTC in escrow, and start a signature campaign, no one will know how trustworthy their no-logging policies really are until they're shutdown/seized. (Although that also goes for Chipmixer.)
742  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ecomix.io new btc mixer with low fee , get your free 0.0022 btc for test! on: May 30, 2019, 11:31:32 AM
Is this Bitcoin Mixer/Tumber is still working or not? Can anyone please confirm the status for this site? Thanks
Yep i am wondering as well, the owner has not been online on here since november 2018, site still up though, so i dont know whats going on here?

I am not sure about you guys, but ecomixer.io is not responding for me. -- Seems to be offline?

Never mind, it seems like their HTTPS certificate expired 3 days ago.
Looks like they've abandoned the site..? I mean, if they haven't, the least they could do is update/resign their certificate.

Therefore i personally wouldn't use them unless they atleast renew the certifiate, or give a statement about it.

743  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Blender / http://bitblendervrfkzr.onion real or scam? on: May 30, 2019, 10:44:34 AM
Hi all,

I had not been on BitBlender for a long time, and I have been trying to connect since yesterday with no luck, anyone knows what is happening?

Thanks!
Bitblender has been shutdown due to the recent happenings around Bestmixer.

If you still had funds on their website, i'm not sure what can be done..  Huh
744  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anyone buy from www.antminer-s9.com/ on: May 30, 2019, 10:21:59 AM
Hello
I was also cheated by antminers9.com.au
is there anything known about these cheaters
I deposited money into their bank account
did you find any cheater Huh
That seems to be a different site.
I'm not sure how the banking system in australia works, but can't you try calling your bank and see if you can possibly reverse the transfer?

Huh; https://who.is/whois/antminers9.com.au They don't even have who.is data for their domain. That means they'll be shut down pretty soon..?
745  Economy / Reputation / Re: LFC_Bitcoin - Laudas Feltching Clown? total shit poster and scumbag..? poetry .. on: May 29, 2019, 08:17:31 PM
The usual CH bullshit , if you don't agree with him then you are siding the other "group".

And if you really think "Millions" of people give a fuck about you and Lauda then you need to see a doctor, because in reality it's only 10 people at most who care about the trust system to this extent, you need to wake up and smell the coffee. Roll Eyes

I’ve got a feeling CH could be one of Quickseller’s personalities/alts. Not certain but think it’s possible.

The grammar this alt uses can sometimes be really poor with terrible punctuation etc.
Other times it’s perfect & seems like a pretty intelligent dude. I can’t be bothered to find examples right now but it’s a very similar writing style to QS sometimes.
They’e often caught in dialogue together too, hmmmm. Something to think about.
I think the "effort" and walls of texts CH posts are something that even QS doesn't have the attention span for.
746  Other / Meta / Re: HELP why am I Banned 911 on: May 29, 2019, 08:08:56 PM
my main account, privcy foundation, is banned?  sorry but what the fuck, is this for posting funny shit in wall observer like everyone else?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2481472
I doubt it is for posting "Funny shit".

Looking at your post history i don't see anything particularly worthy of a ban, although, you seem to be wearing quite the tinfoil hat regarding some of your views (which in itself isn't bannable ofcourse..).

https://bpip.org/profile.aspx?p=Privcy%20Foundation
Shows that there's 20 posts of yours deleted by moderators, and another 4 by yourself (Roughly 20% of your posts..  Shocked).
Perhaps one of those contained plagiarized contents?
747  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BitCloak Mixer - Important Feature Proposal: Blacklist Addresses on: May 28, 2019, 08:30:35 PM
Quote
We do not want to research, moderate or choose if an address gets blacklisted, we only provide the tool.
Surely this won't get abused.. Ah, let me write a quick scraper that blocks all binance/adress xyz/ adresses...

I get it, you want to cover your asses, and from a business perspective i could understand it, but when you look at what the original purpose of Bitcoin mixers, or bitcoin in general was, (Providing economical freedom for all), it just looks like a poor attempt at caving in for an entity that probably doesn't care in the first place whether you do so or not. (As "Muh all mixers regardless of the purpose they're used for are bad, fiod.")

Also, considering most coins you're mixing are coming from darknet markets, are you also going to block all of those?
If i put in a request for all dream market/XYZ-drug market mapped wallet adresses to be blocked because they're engaged in "Illicit activity", will you honour my request? Or....  Roll Eyes

this can be stolen funds, scammers, frauds, or anything that crosses your own line.

Or is this just a superficial message you're signalling to "law" enforcement?

For the record, I have joined YoBit in the past and I have also participated in ONE of yahoo's campaigns. That is all relevant information that you can use against me in ad-hominem attacks if you so choose.

I support the existence of a competent manager overseeing the YoBit campaign. I do not support YoBit. I do not support spam. It doesn't even matter if it's not yahoo that's managing the campaign. What did matter is that without a manager, YoBit would have caused an extreme amount of spam to proliferate upon the forum.

None of the users that genuinely care about the forum would want that.

It's supposed to deliver a message sarcastically/mockingly......
https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/mocking-spongebob

But.. The font is kind of stupidly hard to read, making it look pretty spammy, i agree.

(but using stupid fonts is (on it's own, usually, often) not enough to warrant it being removed on the basis of it being "spammy". As there could/(and probably is in this case) be a solid message behind it.)
749  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BestMixer is gone, seized by the Financial Crime Investigation on: May 25, 2019, 07:55:10 PM
What really funny is actually a reaction of hero members that praised and prayed to bestmixer making of it a big example to other mixers.

This is what you basically get when you talk bullshit about other mixers.

So where are you heading with this statement of yours lol. The situation bestmixer currently find themselves in, has nothing to do with their downgrading of other mixers. it was just a business strategy they employed. Irrespective of whether your downgrade other mixer or not, if the government body have you under their radar they'll come for you.
It's still pretty ironic that they high horsed every other mixer for being "insecure", or not providing privacy, while their servers with (allegedly) full transaction data have been seized, (and were stored in Europe Huh)

Already said this, but i get where xtests is coming from.

Quote
if the government body have you under their radar they'll come for you.
They mentioned two other mixers as well in the article where they talked about the seizure, and have they been raided yet?
Seems like they must be doing something better than Bestmixer..
750  Economy / Reputation / Re: How DT gang works behind the scenes on: May 25, 2019, 10:22:32 AM
but I think it something around 500 positive reports. Thats as far as I remember when it appeared for me.
Ah. I guess that explains why i've never seen it.

Huh. Where do you see your reports like that?

That goes for all of you, thule et al, your walls of text are making me puke.
753  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BestMixer is gone, seized by the Financial Crime Investigation on: May 24, 2019, 02:53:58 PM
Say I take out a loan from you, I give you an address to send the coins to. You are a very nice person and only require me to pay 95% of what I borrowed, and I repay 95% and send the remaining 5% to an address of my own. In all cases, brand new addresses are used for each transaction, and are not disclosed anywhere publicly. Looking from the outside, how would anyone know who owns any of the coins in either the address I repaid the loan to, or the change address I used to send the 5% to? Someone could tell the coins used to belong to you, but they cannot know if they belong to someone who traded with you, or if they belong to you without additional information.
Perhaps they won't, but as soon as i transfer any portion of those coins (95%) to an exchange/or use it for X Y Z, it becomes clear that i owned all of them. hence why one might want to use a mixer before doing any sort of trading.

- I mean yes, you could let them sit in that adress for ever and it you can provably deny that they're yours, but you won't ever be able to do anything with them either without your privacy getting f'd.

- Cash out a portion of the coins -/ connects you to all of the coins.
- Buy something from shop X with btc -/ connects you to all of the coins.

I guess if you don't make a connection to any real world service or application, your argument could be validated. (but still isn't very strong..)

N people who are independent and widely considered trustworthy come together to create a multisig address. You need 80% (or whatever) of the N people to agree in order to send money secured by the multisig address. This multisig group is called "the bank", though it ideally should not actually be a single monolithic organization, but rather a more decentralized selection of independent entities.

I'm just curious how this would work exactly in practice though. - Every time someone tries to cash out their shares, 80% needs to agree manually? Wouldn't that be/become a hassle?

Quote
People with the initial certificates can now send them to others. Simply giving someone the signed certificate is all the sender needs to do to transfer it. (Therefore, transacting over a secure channel is important.)
How exactly does this prevent the original owner of the shares from spending the shares back to the bank? Is there some mechanism in place that "changes" the certificates upon transfer to another person?
(I'm assuming there is, otherwise it'd be extremely easy to scam other users..?)

This sounds really interesting! (It'd be cool maybe to build this ontop of bitcointalk somehow, include DT1 in the multisig etc. (Although i can already imagine the drama ensuing from that.))
755  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer.com - Bitcoin mixer / Bitcoin tumbler - mixing reinvented on: May 23, 2019, 07:03:10 PM
[...] I wonder why they still haven't done anything to Bitcoin ATMs.

Are there anonymous Bitcoin ATMs? IIRC pretty much all ATM providers both in the Americas and in Europe follow KYC procedures of some sort. At least I'm not aware of any that don't. Granted, the effectiveness of said KYC procedures may vary, but at least there are some in place.
I believe there were some Bitcoin ATM's in spain not too long ago which were confiscated by the police there because they were used to "launder" drug money -- they probably didn't have KYC.
Also i believe that if you pay using IBAN here, you can do X amount without external verification.

As it stands they don't know (yet) who ran the service, right? Or did I miss this in the reports? So far it seems like they only got the servers.

...As Dutch media reported, no arrests have yet been made in the Bestmixer case, as Europol officials attempt to determine the extent to which criminal money laundering was used on the site...
So europol probably has some idea of who the owners are, but at the same time admit to not having the evidence to indict/search for them?

"As they attempt to determine...<...>"
Pffrt. that really is an awkward way to put a company out of business like that.
756  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: how do i get non-standard mined on: May 23, 2019, 05:23:46 PM
I doubt that a solo miner will have enough hash power to be able to mine a block containing your transaction.
Eligius pool used to accept non-standard transactions and mined them, but it looks like it is dead.

OP be careful when dealing with newbies "offering their help" especially if they have negative trust ratings.

how do  contact the guy? do i get referred or what?

It seems that way.. As far as i understand it, in the past you could PM macbook-air - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=16114, and he would then give you a code/link/referral..

Problem is, i now see he's been offline for almost a year..  Undecided

Not sure if there's any other way to get a code. Might need to look for another solution.
757  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] E-Currency Exchange Script on: May 23, 2019, 04:56:23 PM
Anyone buying this script should note that they're buying a nulled, and outdated version, which opens you up to backdoors from either the OP himself, or simply other people with a bad agenda.

Don't buy from OP, if you're interested in this script, get it from the original sellers. (Although, if i recall correctly, the script is quite buggy and weirdly, written. Perhaps you shouldn't get it at all if you're serious.)

Hello lifeless SOB. Do you have any proof of me having backdoors in my script?
Nope, but i have proof this is not your original script.

The original script can be found here; https://exchangesoftware.info/item/1-bitexchanger

And is 80 USD. You selling it for 25$ proves that there's something going on.

Anyway; imagine running your business that involves exchanging thousands of dollars on a nulled script you bought from someone for 25$. ... Anyone buying this script from you is f..ing crazy.

The provided version of script is out of date.

We are original developers of script and ORIGINAL copy not nulled can be get from https://exchangesoftware.info/item/1-bitexchanger
Only there you can receive original script with new updates.

Please moderator remove the thread.
Regards.
I just now saw this.. +1
758  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BestMixer is gone, seized by the Financial Crime Investigation on: May 23, 2019, 02:56:03 PM
CoinJoin
It is possible to de-anonymize CoinJoin transactions if the input/output sizes are not all the same. CJ will provide privacy from someone casually looking at your transaction, but not someone with some amount of resources.

The Dutch government claims to have been monitoring transactions going through their service for roughly a year. They also posted a message on the domain seizure message that says:
Quote
YOU ARE NOT ANONYMOUS
I don't think the purpose of this was to gather information about BestMixer's users, but was to inspire FUD for those who might use other mixing services.
It literally was the purpose, if not the end result. (See "Seized servers and transaction data captured") (You quoted it yourself? lol?)
They're investigating the data and sharing it with Interpol etc.

Quote
I believe the best way to maximize privacy is to not reuse bitcoin addresses, and encourage other people including the people you trade with to not reuse addresses. When someone uses a mixer, they will often get lazy, and when something like this happens, they will lose a lot of privacy they never really had. If you use bitcoin correct, and everyone else does so too, that is not reuse addresses, an adversary might use incomplete information and some assumptions to minimally break your privacy, but your overall privacy will be lower than it would be otherwise.
Huh
You're not making sense.
Not reusing adresses still don't break any cryptographic "chains" the link will only get broken if you use a mixer of sorts.

Anonymity is not necessarily improved when not reusing adresses....
759  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] BestMixer Signature Campaign | Sr. Members - Legendary | Up to 0.01225BTC on: May 22, 2019, 07:23:18 PM
The website literally says that they have been under investigation since June 2018 and that they have been collecting information since them.
I meant under direct control/ran by them. (Which isn't stated anywhere AFAIAA.)
760  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] BestMixer Signature Campaign | Sr. Members - Legendary | Up to 0.01225BTC on: May 22, 2019, 07:19:28 PM
How could you  have known that they were being investigated by the FEDs... It is not your fault. Thanks for the early pay outs
Never say never...

Perhaps the feds even decided to keep the campaign going, i'm not sure how communications with HHampuz and Bestmixer went, but i have my suspicions that the site has been under control of the FIOD for longer than just today, to collect even more information about customers.

Excuse you? What are you implying?

*Obviously not implying that you had any knowledge of that if that were to be the case.*

I'm sorry. My post was wildly off-topic, and simply my thoughts with no real proof attached to them. Wasn't really appropriate of me to post that in this thread, if at all.
