461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What could have happened to all meme coins on: March 24, 2023, 09:07:38 PM

Personally, I think the coin meme cannot have a sustainable future as expected.  Most of them create hype around celebrities, especially Elon, a belief that easily makes us dummies as their entertainment.
Elon created the hype around Dogecoin and basically he was trolling from what i understand but people started to purchase them and the market started to rally and as usual seeing the hype around a meme coin, hundreds of other meme coins started to appear and majority will die down eventually but Dogecoin will sustain because it is accepted by major gambling sites unlike other meme coins.

No doubt Afghanistani bowlers have performed exceptionally well today and inverse is true for Pakistani batsmen who keep on losing wickets. This is Pakistan one of lowest total in T20I.
Impressive performance by Afghanistan and a terrible batting performance by Pakistan and Afghanistan will easily win the match as they need less than a boundary to win the match.

Surprised to see a slim wicketkeeper  Cheesy and when i searched about him he is the son of Moin Khan, i have seen him bat in PSL but he is yet to provide any meaningful performance in his International career.

I think that this could be one of the biggest Bets we can see because a whole world Knows america and it's superpower and it's has international recognization because of it's influence to the whole world.
They were a superpower and i do not think that it wont be like that for a long time as the new cycle will start and now the war mongers is striving for more war against China and Taiwan as they are busy expanding their base in Philippines and with Biden their best intellectual president till date will be doing this deal to win the next elections by starting another war and they are on the verge of doing that with China to main the superpower notion.

With banks failing left and right and people struggling to live a normal life with high inflation, i am curious whether they will re elect Biden or someone else.

For sure Henry Cejudo will win this just the height and reach advantage of Aljamain Sterling can also prevail in their fight, but I am still getting some data into Henry Cejudo, previous and recent fights, and training aswell, and will surely come back with a purpose, again in the UFC,
The advantage of Henry Cejudo is that he is a superior wrestler and Aljamain Sterling does have a wrestling based game plan which will negate and i am expecting this to be a stand up battle and Henry Cejudo has a fight IQ than the rest of the fighters as he really studies the tapes just like Jon Jones and finds the weakness of the opponents, but he is coming back after 3 years and the size difference is visible and hence curious to see how the fight will go.

All of a sudden the payment UFC offered him suits him. I remember he was saying that he wants to earn like Jake Paul. Costa has mentioned, that UFC has offered him already two opponents: Chimaev (who he had conflict during Chimaev vs Diaz event) or Strickland.
Anyone playing hard ball with the UFC, they will be feeding tough fights and i wont be surprised if Khamzat Chimaev will be his next opponent and the winner fights for the title.

Also, I have been skipping work and surfing the internet (as usually) and found that Justin Gaethjis every fight in UFC (except all title fights that he has lost) were fight or performance of the night. And he is holding a record of having most "of the night" rewards.
Justin Gaethje won fight of the night and performance of the night or both in almost all of his fights in the UFC even when he lost the fights and only against Khabib Nurmagomedov he did not win anything because it was a complete domination by Khabib.

Netherlands almost won the game but they left short of one run. Good match played by both teams,  Netherlands and Zimbabwe both played equally good and level the series by 1-1.
The first match was really close and i lost my bet on Zimbabwe as i never expected Netherlands to chase that after loosing 6 wickets and hence i am not confident to place a bet in this match and with the way the match was going, i was expecting Netherlands to chase the target even in this match after they scored a boundary and a six in the last over and it was a really close match but hard to predict as a punter.

Now market is pumping like crazy, its obvious we won't go back to 18k or below.
Good luck to all, i hope you're smarter than me
It is hard to predict how the market would react, when the US banks started to fail, majority never had a clue how the cryptocurrency market would behave but BTCitcoin was created to avoid these financial crisis but there is no evidence that investors would flock back to BTCitcoin when banks started to fail and that is what is happening as majority are diverting their fiat into the cryptocurrency market and wait for the minor correction and enter again rather than thinking you are left out.

but after Smith take as captain things change for them, and they have better use of their bowlers which help them for having better performance.
Australian selectors and everyone else thinking what happened to the old Australian team, we all got the answer in this series when they simply changed the captaincy and gave them to Steve Smith and with the same players they had earlier they won a Test match, then drew one and then won the ODI series. Hope the selectors would learn a lesson from the captaincy skills of Steve Smith and make him the permanent captain.

Suryakumar Yadav created a unique record, three golden ducks, not heard about a player with 3 golden ducks, how things changed in a short period for him. A match India should win easily and they simply threw away the wickets.

468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Placing bet on WWE on: March 22, 2023, 07:03:33 PM
Have seen fixed match argument several times and my answer is always same, winner is only known by wwe bookers and not to anyone else.

Would bet on wwe matches if there were bookmakers taking bets for it.
You really think that it will be fair and do you really think that the bookies will be accepting bets for something that is fixed. Even for legit games it is hard to contain the fixing issues during certain sporting events and imagine what will be the shit show with a match that is scripted from top to bottom, even the promos the wrestlers does are scripted and even the commentary is scripted.

Note that Zimbabwe's bowling has been strong, with Richard Ngarawa and Wellington Masakadza both picking up wickets and putting pressure on the Netherlands. Based on the current state of the match, it looks like Holland will not win unless their batting improves significantly.
This is what i thought when Netherlands was struggling at 110 for the loss of 6 wickets, i expected it would be an easy win for Zimbabwe and the odds for Netherlands to win was over 12 and for Netherlands to recover from that stage with the help of Teja Nidamanuru who scored a century and a lot of help from Zimbabwe fielders as they dropped catches they were able to chase the target.
470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Polygon (MATIC) to $20? on: March 19, 2023, 08:08:33 PM
~
If we consider the current circulating supply, then yes, it's impossible for MATIC to reach such a high price. But what if developers introduce a "burning mechanism"? Then MATIC would become scarcer, greatly contributing towards higher prices in the future. Even if no changes are made, MATIC could still reach $20 if the crypto market continues on a bullish trend. The sky is the limit to how far MATIC will go in terms of market price.
The total supply is 10 billion and it is an impossible target even if the market is rallying for a while but like you mentioned if the developers plan to burn the coins then it will reach those expected valuations, if not it is really an impossible target to reach unless you have some promoters like Elon who rallied the Dogecoin market but highly unlikely in this financial situation on a global scale.

I was routing for Leon in the end, obviously he did make quite a few fouls in the fight, but I think that's natural. I don't think he was looking to fence grab, I think it was just out of desperation, but having a point deducted was probably the right choice. However, I saw it pretty much the same way as the judges, I thought Leon comfortably won that fight. It's odd to see Usman struggle against someone so much, considering he dominated the first two fights.
Leon Edwards won that fight even though it was a close fight and with the point taken for grabbing the fence, for a moment i thought the judges might decide as a draw depending on how they scored the second round and i posted earlier regarding the health issues of Usman and his struggling knees and i knew he wont be taking many chances to blast a take down. Credits goes to Leon and his coaching staff to come out with a perfect fight plan, attacking the weak knees of Usman from the start and it paid dividends.

Got to hand it to Leon though, takedown defense was on point, and his circling away from danger was brilliant too. I don't think they'll make the 4th fight for a while, and hopefully we get to see someone else have a shot at the title.
The next challenger would be Colby Covington as he was the back up fighter and there is a lot of fight to be made, Gilbert Burns and Jorge Masvidal are fighting and that winner could be the next challenger and then there is Belal Muhammad and Shavkat Rakhmonov discussion is ongoing and the yet is not yet finalized and that winner could be the next challenger.

This match is completely gone from hands of team India no matter what now. It's shocking because this is the best Indian team who is ready to play the world cup on these pitches only.
Just 4 ducks and overall 7 single digit score from the Indian batsman and yet they reached 117 runs which is a great feat  Cheesy. No idea what BCCI is planning, why they created pitches that help bowlers all of a sudden for ODI. Usually we see flat pitches but even in the last match both the teams struggled against pace bowling.

If the batsmen keep of failing this way continuously there is no point in saying this is our world cup team. We can't just justify ourselves by winning against Sri Lanka, New Zealand.
Any team playing in these pitches will be struggling, will see how many wicket Australia will be loosing chasing this target.
473  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the reason for the increase in the price of Bitcoin? on: March 18, 2023, 11:29:57 PM
~
I haven't noticed any significant good news, but it appears like Bitcoin simply started pumping up. But I agree with the OP that if money were actually injected into the economy, the amount of fiat in circulation might have increased. As a result, fiat is also being injected into bitcoin. Hence, to me, this is a viable explanation.
Last week 3 Banks in the US went down, Silvergate Bank on March 8th, Silicon Valley Bank on 10th and Signature Bank on 12th and if you look when the market started rallying it gives a clear idea why the BTCitcoin market started rallying, after all BTCitcoin is created to be an alternative when fiats and banks fails and people are identifying that and moving their assets to BTCitcoin and hence the rally.

Cant decide who is going to win, Usman or Edwards, then just skip betting on their fight  Grin
Vettori and Fiziev seems to be a bets where to make a decision easier. Ive placed my bet on Fiziev. Cant see Gaethji winning this fight. Fiziev is younger, quicker and fully counters Justins strenght sides.
Usman and Edward a bet on 4.5 rounds is not a bad bet. Rafael Fiziev is a kickboxer and Justin Gaethje is a wrestler, you never know whether he is simply training in wrestling for MMA as he never used to use his skill sets but rather go for strikes, but for Justin Gaethje to get to a title he needs to win this fight and what happens if he fights smart for the first time and start taking Fiziev to the ground and you need to remember Gaethje and Usman are from the same fight camp.

Fights started earlier and the main event is about to start.

EDIT: In stake forum people report wagering like 2k and losing some only got 0.1$ weekly.  Grin
That is not true, i wagered below $2k and the weekly bonus was around $8, people do post bullshit all the time and it is not wise to take those into face value unless they provide any evidence and even so they can contact the support and enquire about their situation. I think you need to verify your account to become eligible for these bonuses and they are doing that to avoid abuse.

On the day 1, New Zealand wasn't able to reach 300+ runs. The team was at home and the  same had helped them perform good. By the 2nd day Williamson have reached his century. The bowlers were struggling to take wickets. Anyhow the score could go high above 500 runs if New Zealand continue the ongoing kind of batting. The match isn't going to be a win for Sri Lanka at any situation.
New Zealand fought hard to win the last match and Sri Lanka gave them a good battle till the final overs of the match and i was expecting the same match up for the second Test but New Zealand is building a good partnership with Kane Williamson scoring a century and Henry Nicholls could possibly score a century with the way he is batting and the match depends upon how Sri Lanka will bat as it seems like the match would end up in a draw as the pitch is not offering any assistance to the bowlers.
477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens when new altcoins encourage religious, political and other agendas? on: March 17, 2023, 09:50:12 PM
I stumbled upon this thread on Twitter talking about the emergence of islamiccoin. In the history of altcoins, I wonder who would try to create a religious coin and with what motive
You can start your own project, copy the source code and rename to a religion, name anything you want and start advertising which is going on for years and this is not a surprise, for every election you see a coin named and launched and you will see liquidity in that for a while, if you are not into pump and dumb coins, just ignore them as it will end up being a scam just like 1000s of other alt projects.

But it's not about that. He will have to prove to the judges that he is the better fighter and deserves the win. Which is not going to happen if it does not "jump out of the pants". The best option is going to be taking matters into his own hands. Just KO or submit Leon Edwards.
Kamaru Usman is not in the best physical shape as his knees are killing him and even Usman confirmed the rumors he is walking down the steps backwards, but he claimed that it is his fashion and protecting his knee  Grin. Leon Edwards never lost a fight in UK in his career and his confidence is high. Not placing a bet on moneyline but rounds bet would be good.

Vettori is not as good as people are saying why do you think he will win? He can only wrestle he never finishes fights and gets tired and starts laying on people. When he cannot get the take down he is not threatening and I think he gets beat this week. Roman Dolidze has good TD defense and I think he can get the knock out when Vettori gets tired and gets sloppy the odds are 3.25 for Roman and it is worth the risk imo.
Marvin Vettori faced high level fighters and his fight against Israel Adesanya was really close and the first person who gave Adesanya a hard battle, he only lost against championship level fighters and Roman Dolidze is yet to face anyone of that caliber and hence Vettori is the heavy favorite.

Australians are going at run a ball and Stonios and Maxwell are batting at the moment. If India can limit Australia to 250, then India definitely will be favourite. It's too early to say who will win this game as Aussies can bat till there eleventh batsmen. India must not relax and should try to pick more wickets.
If Australia can score 200 runs it would be good to see some batting from the Indian batters. Mohammed Shami came back for a spell and wiped the Australian batsman and now struggling to reach 200 as they lost their 9th wicket and they have 15 overs left to bat and Mitchell Starc  and Zampa must play as long as possible and the Indian fielding is great tonight as they took some difficult catches.

Edit: Maintained a good run rate but Australia all out for 188 Cheesy.

Maxwell really recovered? That's news to me, last I heard he was doing some commentary.
I was wondering about this, he just missed a straight ball and went to a boundary, may be his reflex are not working like he wanted  Grin.

Nepal wins a thrilling match against UAE by 9 runs in DLS method, thereby securing their place in the World cup qualifiers. This is undoubtedly the best achievement for Nepal in the history. Hope for the rise continues. Congratulations to Nepal, but such an unfair result for UAE. The loss due to insufficient light to continue but left a bittersweet taste for UAE side. While it's true that Nepal could have won the game easily by chasing. Fact is, UAE consumed more time and now they must regret not having utilized their time. It's celebration time for Nepal's historic win. Congratulations once again!
It was a really close match and you need to remember they were struggling at one point as they lost their 6th wicket for 225 runs and they were building a partnership for the 7th wicket and a wicket here could have changed the match and fortunately for them the match was decided by DLS.

The series between India and Australia will be starting tomorrow and it will be a really competitive match and surprised to see Glenn Maxwell back in the time after the freak injury breaking his leg.
