481  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: September 12, 2023, 11:15:36 PM

Dahil dito is I think marami na din siguro nag iisip mag laro ulit ng axie classic, which is ako rin mismo is iniisip ko bumalik. One thing na nakakahinder sakin is wala akong compatible device since ios device gamit ko.
482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: creating a token without money on: September 12, 2023, 10:54:15 PM
hello, is it possible to create a token and make it very famous without capital?
Yes, making a token without capital or at least dirt cheap capital is possible given that there are some blockchain platforms that allows you that. Though I doubt that you can make it famous without having your marketing funds. It is still doable if you have a very good influence on social media or has a bright strategy to get people attention in checking your token. But yeh it is still unlikely as you aim for he very famous goal, I assume like the top 20 coins level in the market.
483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins that you trust most on: September 12, 2023, 10:22:12 PM
I don't trust altcoins but if you want to get the safest choice of the highest chance not getting scammed, probably the top 10 altcoins in the market right now. If you aim for profit and doesn't care if it take years, maybe hidden gems like new projects that you see potential on, most likely they will be noticed by the market when bull market arrives and probably will sky rocket that can produce you big profits. I learned from the past of not investing on the same token again that I invested on the last bull market, most of those coins might actually got their all time high that they can't reach anymore.
484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from crypto influencers on: September 11, 2023, 04:12:25 PM
influencers not the worst scam scenario, crypto group like some paid pump insider was the real worst case. member they used for fueling the pump
and people still think the otherwise because most of people to lazy for searching the clues what come next  Cheesy, this advantage used by some actor for fuel gas pump  Grin
over and over again in many form
I thinkcit's the influencer who's been paid to promote an obvious scam is the worst. People who are entering crypto pump groups has atleast an idea on what they are doing but the victims of these influencers are newbies in majority that don't have any clue on what they are doing, they are just following the influencer instructions. Influencers tends to bring non-crypto in the cryptospace and teach them to invest on the project they are promoting, most non-crypto followers would think that it's legit given that the influencers has so many followers and gain reputation on what he is doing. It's just so bad.
485  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Grab magkakaroon ng features for crypto, NFT, kelan kaya magkakaroon sa Pinas? on: September 11, 2023, 02:54:11 PM
Though if lumabas man ito sa Philippines is I doubt na gagamitin ko ito personally knowing na may mga mas better options kesa rito at additional safety caution din ito since may wallet feature sila which is I guess a centralized wallet.
486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Learning from those who have experience on: September 11, 2023, 02:15:01 PM
By default I've always grow the fear of gambling addiction and that's coming from experience in my local area where lives of men turned upside down because of gambling addiction, they later result into drinking heavily and that makes them turn into drunkard because they can't get over the losses and damages they have done.

It's terrifying as a kid to grow up seeing such things unfold and at that time I have always promised my parents to never grow up to be a gambler, I know that gambling is not the issue here but the impact it could create on someone's life is very scary.

Today I do gamble on a few casinos but damn I am very active inside of me, the past stories of those men living close to us still haunt me, I don't want to end up like them that's why I cautiously engage in gambling activities.
It's the fear that make you avoid being an addict. Maybe it's a good thing I guess? Though you still gamble with the caution of not turning into an addict. Being addicted to something really turn the table upside down, there are bunch of vices that you can be addicted but one thing is for sure, it can possibly destroy your life and gradually affect you in aspects of life like mentally, physically and financially. I myself learned from my own experience of being an addict and now that I recovered, I'm trying my best not to be the same man that is being destroyed because of gambling addiction.
487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Behaviours of gamblers you dislike. on: September 11, 2023, 01:53:33 PM
The thing I dislike is often noticeable among IRL gamblers. I dont like when someone interfere my game with advices or comments on what I do. That makes me hard to concentrate on the game or is simply annoying. I am speaking about situation when you about to do something, and people around start to whisper "I would do this or that instead", or give suggestions like "bet, drop cards, fold and etc".
I strongly relate to this. I find it super annoying if I receive side comments and suggestions behimd my back when I am playing. It sometimes ruins my play given that the suggestions they gave can make me think twice and end up in changing my move. I swear that it is super annoying, it kinda ticks me espcially if I'm having a bad day and just want to relax on a casino. I don't want to get rude to them that's why i commonly use the silent route and not entertain them on their comments.
488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your security is our top priority! on: September 11, 2023, 01:18:26 PM
It's good if your site prioritizes security. But you also know that big gambling sites that definitely have large savings can be hacked.
Security and comfort are what every player wants, including not experiencing problems with withdrawals. Many gambling sites promise the best things to players, but in the end many players experience lots of complaints.

I think it's the very obvious that casino sites will take the security as the higher priority because we all know that hackers and criminals are just one step of the game. So gambling sites should be well aware of and should add a layer of security for their customers and then their casino themselves. They don't want to be the next victim here, how big or small the hackers are going to break and steal from them.

Here we first take their duties in the hackers in doing their work. Because no matter how hard the security is given, they are still possible to be able to do their duties successfully despite having difficulty.

We do not say their site is bad in various points of view, but based on the experience experienced by many players into important learning for newcomers.
In addition to security, the responsibility when the funds are lost must also be a major concern.
Before becoming a victim, it takes further research to the casino site that will be played, especially those who have just been touched by online gambling.
Yep, no matter what kimd of system it is, whether it's a government, casino or anything that is considered that has a high security can still he hack and no where safe from hackers. We have seen so many data breaches, website hacks, funds stolen and some of them are on crypto. This means that even if you have a very good security, there's still a chance that you can be hacked. Seeing from a casino owners perspective, the only thing that you can do is to update security and make the gamblers know how not to get hacked and implying security measures such as 2fa. Extra security measures should be standard for every casino out there knowing that they are a hot victim for a hacker's eye.
By the way, thanks for sharing.

Let's hope mag organize yung local crypto companies natin like coins.ph ng seminars dito sa bansa natin, also sa nga lugar na hindi kadalasan nangyayari yung events but accesible to all.
490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Father of Ethereum's X account got hacked on: September 10, 2023, 01:41:55 PM
Vitalik Buterin's account on X got hacked and it result to whooping $700k dollars lost.

Click this source link to read more information

https://cointelegraph.com/news/ethereum-vitalik-buterin-x-hackers-drain?fbclid=IwAR1BS9XF_l52xbQk236LeND-lA-MeK5gSaMxGOao4mu4AkviMEF1WDnYOqw

This indicate that we should never believe immediately on what we can read online especially if that have outrageous offer or good promise of return since we don't know if the account of influential man like him got compromise already so we need to be aware for next incident like this.

Bruh, it wasn't even Vitalik who lost funds, it was investors who followed his account. Goddamn, that is unlucky. Times like this I wish they had something like the system Bitcointalk has, having a warning label on their profile that this user has had their password changed or something similar. Rather unfortunate especially since a lot of people seem to have the idea that links, especially from famous people can be trusted. Even if warnings were said once the event happens, can't exactly force everyone to take safety precautions, that'd be quite tiring in an era where literally everyone wants just simple and few step actions to finish what they want.
There should be a investigation as of now. This might be a inside job or just a tuphical hacker attack. We know that vitalik is a smart person and probably think that he wouldn't be hacked, this is why people think that the link he just gave which is labeled as free is legit. People should have learned into not trust everyone even if it came from a verified and a smart people who hold the account. It's a sad accident but we know that it will be up to vitalik if he will be give back to the victims which is another risk since scammers will use that kind of trick to scam people again. People should learn and always learn how to be cautious with the term "free".
491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Google New Policy: NFT Ads is allowed starting Sept. 15 on: September 10, 2023, 12:55:47 PM
Or maybe they have now a way to lessen the scam advertisement, even though you can really eliminate or avoid it 100%, but at least maybe they already have a solution for it.
For sure, one of the reasons why they banned it in their advertisement before is because of lot of scams especially if it's on bull market, scammers during that season are very active.
This is possible but at the same time they are underestimating scammers, it is obvious they do not have the personal to manually review every single ad they serve to those using their services, and even if they put special attention to NFTs ads there are still bound to be a lot of scam ads that will go unnoticed, so Google will allow scammers to have access to many more victims thanks to this new policy, as I am sure scammers are already preparing all their arsenal of weapons to abuse this new policy as much as possible.
I hope that they have a better filtering technology today given that they accepted NFT games to advertise to them again. It would be bad if we users are bombarded with obvious NFT scam. For sure they will have a lot of complains fro, the users. Google should be strict with the requirements before they accepts NFT projects that want to advertise with them. A manual review at least will lessen the scam projects.
492  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do we benefit in lies in forum on: September 10, 2023, 12:25:17 PM
The only reason I can possibly think of right now is “merit fishing”.

If you check those threads that the stories were obviously made up, you’ll notice that the first set of people that made threads like that were actually awarded with merits because forum members thought they were being sincere but after discovering that they were all spitting out bullshits none of the recent ones got merit.
I'm also thinking with the same reason. This kind of post typhically get atleast one merit if the story is real good even if it's obviously fictional. I don't hate this kind of things or iritates me, sometimes it's quite entrtaining to read some newbie stories. There are just stories that are quite repetitive which makes it boring and makes us think it's a made up story.

Should we demand for proofs of their story or atleast demand a disclaimer that it's a fictional story that they want to portray?
493  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's Stabilize Bitcoin on: September 09, 2023, 04:17:15 PM
In order for Bitcoin to be widely used for payments, it is necessary to stabilize price fluctuations.

Question,
Bitcoin and other currencies A and Prepare B.
A and B are equivalent exchangeable and can also be equivalently exchanged for Bitcoin.

Is it possible to stabilize prices through market mechanisms due to this?
Volatility is one of the well known characteristic of bitcoin. Bitcoin price wouldn't be stable as much as people want it, at least in our current time. I also see that it's not common to see people in buying things or services using bitcoin nowadays given that there's fees and tx confirmation. There's a thread about bitcoin redesign on reddit about the holes that bitcoin have such as inefficiency if being used on day to day payment transaction, but here we are today stuck with it. This is why there are several altcoin that is made for the exact purpose of filling the job of being a payment.
494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble because you don't have sufficient money? on: September 09, 2023, 03:27:07 PM
^

Unlike non-rich people, rich people have money for almost any kind of entertainment, so the range of sensations they can get is also much wider. Most rich people are well educated, so they have no illusions about getting rich in casinos. I am not saying that this cannot happen in principle, I am saying that the probability of an individual getting rich is too low to motivate them to spend money in casinos.
I agree with you. It's the same principle where it's very rare for us to see rich people trying their luck on lotteries that can make them even richer. I think rich people don't waste effort on trying to win those one in a lifetime chance to get rich because they are rich already and it's the entertainment that makes them motivated to do gambling.

Money is a big part of gambling and it is one of the biggest reason why gamblers do gambling. It's hard to generalize but I think I will agree that low to middle class people are often the gamblers we see on online or physical casinos.
495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Control Your Emotions and Win More Bets on: September 09, 2023, 02:49:23 PM
Emotional management is also very necessary when playing gambling. I play just for fun. What if I am addicted and then forget my children and wife, it will really hurt them. therefore I try to just make this entertainment without making this my main income. We must remember that the money we get from working is not only ours but also our responsibility for our small family.
Gambling is a loss to both society and family if emotions cannot be controlled while betting. Gambling is a game that tends to be more addictive than fun or competitive a gambling addict prioritizes gambling over personal family or social responsibilities. There is an impossible and uncontrollable demand for this game the person spends most of the day thinking about gambling and is ready to increase the amount of bets. Along with the addiction the addict also suffers financially. Therefore if you can control yourself it is possible to fulfill all the responsibilities easily.
Depending on the approach you have on gambling, it might either make it as an entertainment to you or cause you an a gambling addiction. We all have different personality and characteristic even before we met casino gambling, there are people who like money but never got addicted to gambling knowing that it can affect their overall life. We all have different level of controls and becoming addicted to gambling meant that you don't have the control that majority of the successful gambler has. Imagine that you became an addict because you goal is to become successful in gambling but it turns out that the addiction you have is the one that successful gamblers don't have.
496  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Preparations for BTC Halving and bull market on: September 09, 2023, 02:08:22 PM
As you know bitcoin halving is a few months away (first quarter 2024) and then we may have bull season in 2024/2025. We are all excited about the bull season but no one prepares for it. People start buying Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies when the bull market is in progress and the prices are already high. Some even have the fear of missing out and buy at the top of the bull market. The result is that most people lose money in bull season too.

So in order to have maximum benefits in the bull market, you should have a plan and start executing it unless it is too late.

I have already accumulated bitcoin in my portfolio (70% of my portfolio is in bitcoin) which i will not sell until we are above the all time high again. Similarly, i have bought some major cap coins and a few others low cap too which i think will perform well in the bull season.  I have been doing this for the last 3 to 4 months, buying some at every dump.

If the market dumps further, I will not panic and if I have more spare money, I may accumulate more bitcoin. I am confident that this bull season will be the best so far as it will be initiated by institutional investors.

Also, to keep my bitcoin secure and to remain calm in times of dump, I have moved my bitcoins in cold storage so I never get tempted to sell on small profits like i won't be selling on 2x profit if bitcoin reaches 50,000$. My targets are clear and will sell in parts after bitcoin reaches new highs.
People do often buy when the price is suddenly getting higher, and then don't have the patience to wait for several more years for their mistake to become something more positive. So your plan, op, is very responsible. I don't believe that halving is responsible for the bull market, but I do believe we're likely to see the bull market around Q4 2024, so prepping ahead makes sense to me.
I wonder what you mean by it becoming the best bull season, though. Is it by market cap that Bitcoin gains, or is it by the multiplier of the price? Because if it's the latter, I don't think we'll see anything beyond 2-3x rise above the previous ATH this time, with or without institutional investors. As the market capitalization is getting bigger, Bitcoin is clearly growing slower in price.
From my experience, the bull market shows it's signs months after the halving. Actually, I'm expecting it to come months after this halving because I believe that it is the pattern that the market is following. So my personal plan is to collect as many crypto as I can in our current season to be ready for the bull market in 2024/2025.

I believe that massive adaptation can boost bitcoin growth with the help of institutional investors and also for it to hit at least 5x from it's ATH in the next bull market. The higher that bitcoin hits it's all time high is the harder for it to gain multiple of its amount.
497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why gambling beginners must not joke with casino announcement on: September 09, 2023, 10:40:02 AM
Even if I'm not a newbie, I wouldn't try registering and try to gamble on a new casino unless they offer something for free, as in free rolls. I wouldn't put my own money on new casinos as scam casinos can easily scam people even they have the license to operate. I'm sure that scam casino owners are just doing it repeatedly, after countless of scam casino they had made, they have the idea on how to evade their victims and the law on the crime they had made.

Even if that certain scam casino is red tagged, has an alarm or has a very bad reputation here and everywhere, if they want to scam people. Once they get your money, you have zero chance of getting your funds back.
498  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Typical scenario when you are losing on: September 07, 2023, 06:15:20 PM
Some scenarios do indeed relate to what I've experienced, such as after a big win, I always feel the urge to bet on the next victory by playing a few more games. Sure, I've won again a few times, but what happens most often is a streak of losses. Handling a significant amount of money from gambling seems to make it quite challenging for me to maintain discipline.

Another scenario is my curiosity about other games where I haven't achieved my first win. I do enjoy trying out several games to discover which ones are engaging and match my current mood. Surprisingly, this tends to lead me to waste my deposit funds.
This is the typical scenario where the casino can make a comeback to you even if you won a lot of profit beforehand. This kind of situation can be avoided if you had a plan from the start of your gambling session. Putting some target profit goal would have avoid that kind of situation.

There's no problem in exploring or trying different casino games but you plan a head in minimizing your funds that you will use to play as you have a record of not getting a win on the games you want to try. It's basically for entertainment purposes but minimizing the losses would have been better.
499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Littleboy's altcoin casino on: September 07, 2023, 04:12:08 PM
You choose a name that will get people wonder if you allow under age to sign up to your site especially with the fun game aspect. I hope and believe littleboys are what they are and they have to wait until they are aged enough to be allowed to gamble legally.

Anyway, it has being a while we had casino with token. I think the last I could remember is BFG or something close to that. You are welcome to the forum and hope your provably fair is fair enough to players.
You are right the name have suggested another perceptions before I could open the thread some hours ago I was discourage by the name little boy but then I took a look and I saw that the op got some interesting thing going with the casino.

That's why it is dismissive of people to stay afar and judge a book by its cover. Good a thing you decides to get closer to see this in the very light that they are patterning the LittleBoyCasino.  As for OP I read a few complaints comment's about the casino UI, you have to address the issue ASAP and if you wish to earn potential users from the forum  it then suggest you stand up tall cause the competition is high, meaning you have to act as a big boy not as a little boy just as the name of your casino reads.
It's kinda a unique name for me to be honest. It's a little unusual and I'm imagining if this casino get it's massive growth and hits big advertisement, people would be surely either wouldn't care or get curious with the casino name. The UI is not the best but it can be improved. I think that the development wouldn't be as fast as other casino, we can see possible slow growth here as we all know that casino industry is a very steep and has a lot of competition.
500  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is KYC mandatory in CEX? on: September 07, 2023, 03:16:37 PM
Privacy is important when it comes to Cryptocurrency, so why do exchanges like Bitget require KYC (Know Your Customer) for all users, even those who only want to get airdrops? I thought KYC should be for those transacting many Bitcoins, Is it really necessary for everyone?

In a regulated exchange, it is normal for the platform to ask for KYC from prospective clients. Of course, they are under government regulation, which is why they can legally operate. It is also up to us whether we want to submit or not.

The exchange does not force us to do this, as long as if we want to use their platform, we must also follow the rules it has, and it may also be one of the security measures for our account using their platform. But if it's a decentralized platform exchange, we don't need to submit KYC. just as simple as that anyway.
It's just sad that there's a heavy limit on centralized exchange customer that don't submit their KYC even if it's not mandatory. The law are the one who keeps binding exchange to collect KYC, it is a different thing if we talk about decentralized exchange. Your account is your own wallet, you don't need to prove that.

At the end of the day it is always our choice if we want the convenience with KYC or the cons of using decentralized exchange.
