Don't suppose anyone's got any words of wisdom on what's going on here... just started tonight...
I did search and I found nothing similar... which is worrying considering this is bitmain equipment!  Tongue Roll Eyes

What's the current % of HW in the UI ?

The unit is trying to hash but you are getting Hardware Error.

You need to give us more information. It is still hashsing ? Not at all ? HW % ?

my payment was confirmed a lot later than 1h last time due to the fact that there was 251 input and I may have f***ed up the fee, but order went through... even though it was shown as expired.

I was looking at my lifetime stats.

I earned 16.249 coins with my oldest account

I earned  7.046 coins with my second account

Grand total of   23.295 coins.

I made 1 block     so  I am just a tiny bit over average luck.

I've found 3 blocks here and my lifetime payout on this pool is less than 12BTC.  So I got some people covered.
My lifetime payout on all pools going back several years is over 50BTC though so I was operating with bad luck before I started mining here.  I never found a block on another pool (that I know of although it is possible I did and just missed it).

Still never found one .. i'm running 56-58TH at the moment. My time will come ! or #not Tongue
487  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain's Released Antminer S9, World's First 16nm Miner Ready to Order on: May 31, 2016, 03:57:40 PM
I also still have a negative feeling about my 2 S7 Batch 1 I bought back in time.

Since the ROI looks like to be in the same boat.

Going to pass on that for now, until halving then I will reconsider.

Looks like someone just fired some power ! (or maybe just variance)

Kano I've  noticed some bitcoin pools are starting to offer ethereum pools. Is this something you have considered? Might be a good idea, as many are mining both.

I don't want to answer for him but he's not a fan of any "Altcoin".

I will just add this, the S7-F1 is not really a good miner for summer, one fan is not enough. I'm upgrading them all with a second fan

Anyone has an alternate solution to buy the backplane to add an extra fan to the S7-F1 ? I got 4 of thoses and the shipping from bitmain is an ultimate joke. 29$us (UPS is like 60$) for 4 backplanes that cost 2.80$ US.

I would also like 4 fans. If anyone has a cheap source.

Thanks.
I've seen 2 alternative solutions:
1: Fan mounting screws https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1420330.msg14869061#msg14869061
2: Zip ties https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1420330.msg14510082#msg14510082

adds to   172  so 166/172-1 =  (-3.488372093023%)

12 Digits after the decimal Grin

The calculator on the Mac mini rounds to 12 digits.

And I know that there is a tiny chance of a number like

2.5999999999999999 which  would round to 2.60. Since my claculator only goes to 12 digits .

If indeed that happens  I will pay both Picks since the odds would be more then 1 billion to one.

At kexkey some may earn the, nickname "numbers". Some have called me Phillie numbers  as I am quick with math.

Sometimes you can refer to a person as your "numbers" guy. A slang that means you rely on that person for math choices because he is,good with numbers.

Yeah I was joking about all the rounding issue. I mean 12 digit should be plenty enough for what we are doing.

The last 24-48 hours show F2Pool overpassing Antpool by 6-7% that's huge.

Also Bitfury getting some additional part but this might be luick.

This hot streak is really appreciated considering the massive hashrate added into the network since yesterday which is way less cool.

As soon as people point a lot of renters here, luck goes to mediocre.
it was just fine at 30-35PH and as soon as we get good luck, all those renters jump in and the result is a lot of nothing.

6-8 Peta can take up to 10 days over to hit a block. I tend to think this pure bad luck.

As much as i dont't like either  Grin

Just my thoughts as well. When pool hash is raised with 5-8 PH above normal, we hit bad luck at the same time.

You're pretty much short time guessing. You'll need hard stats to prove that and over a long time of period. (Multiple occurrence)
