Batch five now 369 USD, hallelujah. Thank you hackers, thank you people, thank you everyone. Now let's hear from Lee and get those last 50 sold!

Batch 4 didn't have free shipping either so let's see if Mr Lee will also drop the price...  Smiley

They removed 50$ per unit but also removed the free shipping, It's good for Lee.

I couldn't figure out why you only quoted our quoted until ...

Good point thanks
1463  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: March 12, 2015, 04:55:25 PM
We sold out all of our 2nd gen miners.

Congrats, love my sp20E BUT don't forget us (home miner) in your next gen ! Smiley

Lee,
Bitmain has apparently dropped the S5 price back down to 369, are you going to adjust your price and if so what is it now?

They removed the "free shipping" and set the price to 369.

Great Lee i guess, not really if you are far away from Bitmain.

Hmm most of my asics are around 85 to 100 Celcius, got some at 115 Celcius and one is running at 125!!

Don't worry, the one at 125 will get throttle down to lower the temp.

Doc,

Just letting you know that the "Announce a new block with sound effect" is still trigger by the NMC.

Not sure you wanted to remove it but it might be cool to split both BTC and MNC into two different alarm.

Would be nice in my point of view, since the alarm triggered by the NMC block is a false alarm for me Cheesy.

Thanks !

Cool. Thank You all.

So if I keep it constant at about 80-90C it's still more than adequate.
Very nice.  Wink

Indeed !

I see that the AntPool has some problems overnight and half my Lee Group S5s are dead on pools 1 and 2.  The other half of my miners are running just fine on the same exact pools.  The Lee Group team rebooted the miners that are having pool issues for me as soon as I notified them and it doesn’t fix anything.  Does anyone have any tricks that may help with this?

When I was running S5s in my garage, I could usually fix these kinds of problems by switching pools around and several reboots.  Once the pools came back to life I could switch the pools back to normal and everything would be golden.  Without this capability on my Lee Group miners it is difficult to do anything.

I had the same problem for 2 days. (The first day was my fault) Both primary and secondary pool was dead for obscure reason. Lee didn't respond me back on my last PM yet but i'm pretty sure he did a reboot to fix it.

Not sure why you're having trouble with Antpool tho, my servers are in the US.

The S5 firmware might have an issue with the pool status. I don't know. I feel it shouldn't behave like that.

I feel the same pain, if I had access to the miner, it would have been fix really quickly.
1470  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S5: 1155GH(+OverClock Potential), In Stock $0.25/GH & 0.51W/GH on: March 10, 2015, 09:49:16 PM
I'm having an issue with a hosted S5. They changed my pools and i'm 100% everything is fine (Tested all the info at home) but they still show as dead pool.

Is there a kind of trick which you need to reboot the unit to make the change work ? I don't know if he only clicked save and not save and apply but still ...

thanks

You might try ssh'ing in,  then 'screen -r', then hit 'P' which will bring up the pools list and change the data there.  Make sure when you complete your changes to the pools you hit enter to go back to the hashing page, then hit "S" for setting, and the 'W' for write the config or next boot it will be back to what it was.

The info are correctly change (as i can see in some form of UI provided by the hosting service).

The question is, why would the pool stay as dead ? I guess the unit just need a reboot (or just a cgminer reboot)

I have no idea how he changes the pool setup, but he did it correctly. It just that the pool stay f***** dead.

thanks for the help ;-)

I guess if you meet us at half price for the reminding unit (not the one you buy at 420$) you'll pretty much sell out today from all your previous buyer.

We are not asking you to sell at non-profit.

If i knew, i would have already take 2 units.
when i got the money i canot do nothing, i canot got new miner from bitmain to increase the amount of the miner in our data center

So you rather wait and wait for someone to buy them at the current price then to sell them out, then pass along a host fee savings?

I guess you don't want to wait the time for batch 5 to be delivered with nothing in hand to sell. I will further assume, that all remaining units are up and operating on your behalf, and we are all getting used units. And I never realized we were paying for the power supplies directly, I thought that was part of the hosting fee daily charge.

I'm hoping sales stall for bitmain and they adjust their prices accordingly. I wonder if that's possible.

I always assumed that we were renting the power supplies, and cannot keep them once the hosting contract is over.

I like $380 better than $419, but either way I hope he can sell them and reduce hosting costs. At $380 that would probably happen a little faster.

I don't see any advantages to buy a miner 80$ higher then i did 2-3 day before, so I will pass. 380 I might but still ...

For now I can't even mine on my main pool. both primary and secondary are reporting as dead for 3 days for obscure reasons when i know other peoples here mine on the same server as I want.

Lee is out until tomorow ...
1473  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] last SP20e (Spondoolies) with free shipping to US, new price on: March 10, 2015, 04:41:28 PM
lol

TL;DR

Do you see many SP20 for sale?
Do you have 2 BTC readily available?

#1- look around and good luck
If the answer to #2 is NO-then, again, good luck

We understand your point, we just don't like it and won't buy it Tongue

Sure, buy from ebay for above $620 or wait until btc will be $364 and buy for $700 then  Roll Eyes.
BTW, Spondoolies sold me this miner for $814, so there is no profit here for me, just want to convert miner into btc.
Cheers

I will just keep mines.

thanks

Your data center is 5MW and you have only 500units (~0.3MW)
Strange Chinese business..

He has almost 1000 S5 and maybe more Sx ?

Strange conclusions

Anyone else mining at Bitminter ?

I cannot connect to both pools ... i try the pool/ workername that i give to Lee at home and it's working ... but it's dead in Lee's network.

Any idea ?

We all wanted to buy more miner from you since the deal was really great at the moment. (at 340$)

You're the boss Tongue

1479  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Corsair CX750M PSU - BEST OFFER shipped USA on: March 10, 2015, 07:21:37 AM
The offer is/was by private message. The fine gentleman (and model citizen) may wish to remain anonymous. Consider it a phone in bid? So, $45 shipped in btc is best offer.

Have sold PSU's before, per my trusted feedback:

"Bought some PSUs from him, he even threw in a free gift! An absolutely great guy to work with, highly recommended!"

So I've got that and total consciousness on my deathbed going for me.

Crow is a real nice guy, I second that Cheesy
1480  Bitcoin / Mining support / Block solves? Was Re: [∞ YH] solo.ckpool.org 0.5% fee anonymous solo bitcoin mining! 29 blocks solved! on: March 09, 2015, 05:10:32 PM
So I have a KNC Super Jupiter that runs at 1Ths I had this for about 3 weeks now on Nicehash and before making a shelve relocation
I have looked on the basic KNC screen.*(did not took a photo at that time ouch) and saw it has found 7 blocks so far running 24/7
Does this means that if the miner was running solo it would be 7 blocks all mine??? or the part of work I was given on the pool
was lucky enought that my miner found these blocks???
you can see now that I have restarted the miner the number on found blocks is 0
running it

I guess someone was renting your gear and was mining something else then Bitcoin. A coin with a low diff. which make you found 7 blocks of that coin.

You have more chance to die from a lightning then to see that ever happen with 1 TH. (For BTC)

I have been mining for almost a year with more then 1 TH and never found a BTC block on my pool.
