501  Economy / Economics / Re: btc value and currency inflations on: October 30, 2020, 01:21:43 PM
USD will never be worthless. It may devalue well, it is obvious about inflation but I don't think it would just fall under something that we could describe or call it worthless. Just imagine bitcoin having a great value beacuse of that but we can't actually use bitcoin in our daily basis since we will still be converting or selling that into fiat.
502  Economy / Economics / Re: Pandemic: good for the bitcoin market or bad? on: October 30, 2020, 12:47:36 PM
Many countries experienced covid-19 over 7 months now that is causing economy collapse and, hardship in the country. Despite the the pandemic bitcoin still improve in the areas of pumping that is still making some investors wondering about BTC.
Market is well okay, many investors are very busy to supply their coins to market and make a good profit. Bitcoin is better than other cryptocurrencies right now because it rising and other cryptocurrencies is going down show bitcoin is a good condition.many people where thinking bitcoin will follow other cryptocurrencies to reduce but surprised to see BTC rising in in the exchange market.I think bitcoin is better than the way it was over two now.
I think that's because currently many people are starting to develop digital currency and starting to reduce the use of paper money because so far as I know the virus is also stuck on paper and can make the virus more widespread, when using digital currency transactions become safer, especially Again Paypal has accepted transactions for bitcoin so more and more will use bitcoin and it is safer to use for transactions.

But then again, there are a lot of online wallets that could do the same that don't actually accept crypto currencies. In our country we have Paymaya, we also have Gcash which is an online wallet where people could use to pay online or send money online. It is not always best for crypto but it is a great time for them to start its adoption.
503  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Follow your mind! on: October 30, 2020, 11:48:27 AM
What is wrong with borrowing money to invest? I think that is a great opportunity to widen your capital and start bigger. Unless you don't know what you are doing. It is not that great if you are gambling but I think in terms of borrowing someone's money to invest maybe into crypto currencies or other assets, I think it is not that bad.
504  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is more important bitcoin or fiat? on: October 30, 2020, 10:58:54 AM
In the current situation, I still believe that fiat is more important than BTC in a day to day transactions of a normal citizen.

Well, this is also my opinion. Since we can't actually use bitcoin in our daily basis, our daily transactions, I don't think people would choose bitcoin over fiat. But in the case of an investment, I don't think people would choose fiat over bitcoin or other crypto currencies since we all know, it is better to save or hold crypto currencies than fiats.
505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin price rise affect your gameplay? on: October 30, 2020, 08:25:25 AM
It will not affect my gameplay no matter what. I don't care about the price of bitcoin or any crypto currencies that I am playing, what matters is either I am winning or I am losing. Another thing is that as long as I can gamble with my money, price change won't affect that.
This is a very interesting thought process. I would have thought people would become more apprehensive about gambling with BTC and similar high market cap cryptos due to the potential value it may have in the near future. Imagine gambling with 0.2BTC now and you lose, but in December BTC has reached 18k, wouldn't that make you extremely irritated?

I can't say that I am not affected by that but I will not be irritated by that. If I will be bothered by the price changes of bitcoin I think that would just make it harder for me to gamble and to buy and sell. As I said, as long as I can gamble or as long as I can use my bitcoin, that is fine. And yeah, I already have some mBtc in some sites so I don't actually send another if that also includes in your thoughts. To be honest, if I will not be looking at the price, that amount stays the same.

507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost more in the process to recover ? on: October 25, 2020, 10:35:26 AM
Playing more is different from chasing your losses and if we compare what is the reason for most of the people to get addicted to gambling is just because of chasing their losses which will eventually never possible to reach the the losses we made unless we are lucky. OP learnt the lesson in right time or else you might lost more in the chasing race.

I think it can be the same, in my opinion. Playing more is just the way of doing it but there are a lot of goals that you want to the reason why you will continue on betting or play more. One of those reasons is to be able to chase your losses, another one is to just keep on entertaining yourself in that matter of time, that is just some and it could also lead to someone's addiction.

I'm not really convinced whenever I heard that gambling is a way of entertaining someone, because it is not. Entertainment is about enjoyment, being mad or frustrated is not included, but you always experienced it in gambling therefore that concludes that those people who are saying gambling entertains them is just mere mask to hide their true intent in gambling which is to chase their losses and chase the big profits.

And since they are too focused on that, they forgot to take care of their inner selves which is their mental and emotional health.

That is good to hear since that means you never have that problem with gambling, which means you are not in that position to be addicted whatsoever. There are a lot of people that enjoy betting money, the reason a lot of people are addicted to it, not just to chase their losses, or to win more but because they are enjoying risking their money. In your view that might sound stupid but that is the reality, there are people like that.

509  Economy / Economics / Re: I tried money making apps! on: October 24, 2020, 11:02:31 PM
I've also tried some money making apps before, but it seems I'm not lucky to find a real one who will pay after all that stuff needed to complete the task. But I'm not giving up and I am still looking for alternative ways to earn extra income, especially now that most of us are struggling because of the pandemic.

I will stick to investing and trading instead of these "money-making apps". In the past, I am trying to earn on one of these money-making applications and I thought it will be bigger in the next few weeks but it isn't. All of those apps are just giving shillings that will usually just waste your time. Instead, you can just focus on holding crypto currencies and other assets then find a job with a reliable source of income.
510  Economy / Economics / Re: Pandemic: good for the bitcoin market or bad? on: October 24, 2020, 03:12:34 PM
In times of a pandemic like this, cryptocurrency is one way to make money I guess. for example trading. But you may follow events or programs like those provided by the exchanger, for example staking or following projects such as Airdrop, mining can also be an alternative. because the current Bitcoin price is quite high, you can see some potential altcoin for example if you want to trade
This really shows that bitcoin opens an opportunity for those in need for those who uses this service. A lot of way to earn in bitcoin during this difficult times. Indeed in trading can also gives an opportunity to the users to earn btc.  So I can say this pandemic can be good in the bitcoin market as we already observe the growth happening, the massive adoptions that make the price increase.

Well, we are just limited to hold, invest, and trading it since most of us can't actually use bitcoin to pay for something or someone. Not all of us can trade since but they can hold, they sell when there is an opportunity some hold it for the future. This pandemic welcomed a lot of new investors in this market but will they stay here until this pandemic end? This might be shortlived since we can't actually say that this is the massive adoption that we are waiting for.
511  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thinking Bitcoin is Scam on: October 24, 2020, 02:05:29 PM
Now that Paypal has that, I think more and more people will be acknowledging what bitcoin has and it is not actually a scam as they think it is. Some will continue to think that bitcoin is still a scam even though Paypal accepted it, and I think most of these people still calling bitcoin are those people that are jealous of where we are right now.
512  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people avoid bitcoin? on: October 24, 2020, 12:54:15 PM
I do notice that some people naturally don’t allow bitcoin in any of their daily transactions even when it faster and easier, they still don’t prefer using it, I have noticed this a lot, Some classes of human,Sometimes when they are to receive money from another country like international transfer sometimes it takes 2 3 days to arrive,They will advise them to use bitcoin and they still don’t accept it even it faster and easier. Now how come we make bitcoin come to people.
Yes Bitcoin is the best to use for international transfer but there are some people who would find it hard to use since not all of us is tech-savvy.
They might also have trouble finding a place to buy crypto on their own.

Well, not all of us are tech-savvy but there are also these kinds of people and they still don't want to use bitcoin or other crypto currencies at all since they don't trust decentralized currency and usually they think it is a scam. In terms of having a hard time buying bitcoin, I guess it is just something that we could say that he doesn't actually know about it.
513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Just a Question... on: October 24, 2020, 11:56:49 AM
I'd stick with online casinos chatboxes rather than go to Telegram. It is great to use if you are just sending texts or messages to your loved ones or your friends but if we will be talking about promotions, I will go with Discord. Usually, gamers use this application since it is really convinient for them, they could even make a bot for gambling or other games too, Discord is just too popular nowadays.

Because at that time gambling is something I do to entertain myself. I do have those times that I gambled in a bad mood but most of them have this great results even though I don't actually win, it is like I kind of release that stress by betting. I don't know if that is the case for some gamblers, but in the past I am like that.

Learn hard lessons in life. But at some point we need to experience that in order to appreciate what is best for us.
If you truly feel what is wrong with your decision, you will know what are the best actions to address your problem.
And as a gambler, we experience lots of times about wanting to recover our losses.
Sometimes, I will tell myself to withdraw my money once I reached this amount, but then again, I will find myself playing.
So it is really understandable about such kind of behaviour, because as a player, sometimes greed is on your side.

That really gave me something to learn to. With the help of my partner, I stopped myself from going further down the darkness of gambling. It is not that easy but it is so great having that feeling of someone helping you so bad, she's one of the reason my life is well.

This is quite a problem for addicted gamblers.

I never thought that this could happen to gamblers. I am not addicted to gambling so I never thought that this is a scenario for the, I just thought that they also think that they should be aware that they are not in a good mood to play and that would obviously create this bad scenario and engage them more in chasing wins even in a losing streak. People should really control themselves, I know it is hard but it is for their own good.

To be honest, looking back I hope I could just control myself. I still regret the amount I am gambling in the past. I am still gambling right now but at least right now I could control the amount I am betting, I know now my priorities.

This happened to me and I know a lot of gamblers here. You will always have that day when you can't just stand losing straight and you just want to try and try to win not knowing it should've been stop earlier. There are times that you are so mad at work and you need to breath some air and do gambling then it is just a loss streak, that would be really annoying. Gladly, I am done with that, I lost a lot of bitcoins because of that, we should really learn from our mistakes in the past.

Why do you even gamble if you are mad? If you want to breathe some air, you don't do that in a casino. If you are mad and stressed at work, gambling might only make it worse. Good if you get out of the casino bringing nice profit, but what if you lost? Then your stress will only double and you will find it even harder to sleep not only because of your work-related stress but also of the money wasted.

Because at that time gambling is something I do to entertain myself. I do have those times that I gambled in a bad mood but most of them have this great results even though I don't actually win, it is like I kind of release that stress by betting. I don't know if that is the case for some gamblers, but in the past I am like that.
516  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Balance on Exchanges Reducing on: October 23, 2020, 10:57:34 PM
may i know the reason why holding or transferring bitcoins to personal wallet is a good reason? does it have any good effect to the current price of the bitcoin? i think if many people would hold their coins there would be a low trading volume in the market and this will result on slow change on the market and maybe slow progression of the bitcoin's price.

Well, we never know. As the earlier posts said, we never know what might happen since it is not the same as a traditional market. All I know in this matter is that people actually owns their bitcoins now since they are not holding it in an exchange. Maybe most of them just wants to hold it for a long time and do not want to trade it that quickly. I also don't know how the price will go from this.
517  Economy / Economics / Re: Why has crypto failed to break through still? on: October 23, 2020, 10:08:03 PM
There are a lot of people explaining that it could replace fiat but that won't happen since it is not the goal of bitcoin to start with. It would go as an alternative but I don't think it would be the main. People are not scared, it is just that we are not supporting this crypto currency because we want to take down fiat.
518  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin broke $13k today on: October 23, 2020, 02:55:14 PM
Don't actually know what will happen but in my opinion, it won't go higher than $13K this year. Its been sometime before we faced this price and I think it would still need some time before we broke the resistance of $14K. For now, I will just keep on holding and keep on being aware of the changes since we never know where will the trend goes.
519  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Darkside Hackers donating Bitcoins on: October 23, 2020, 01:57:00 PM
I am also curious on how much did those hackers stole and what's their purpose on donating some amount on random charities?
Well, it is not actually stated how much but based on the article the OP has provided, these Darkside hackers had extorted millions of dollars from companies and it is also said that now they wanted to make this world a better place that is why they posted these two receipts of $10K worth of Bitcoin to two charities. Don't know if that is their actual intention though.
520  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Towards another gambling site. on: October 23, 2020, 01:29:33 PM
All I know is that it is just a game of luck and you can't actually make something out of it that would give you a lot of profit unless you are actually a 100% lucky at that time that you are gambling. You could do some betting systems if you wanted to but that doesn't change the fact that if you are unlucky that day, you will still lose.
