521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Shiba Inu community is enraged by Microsoft's recent tweet on: February 16, 2022, 10:34:51 AM
Microsoft's official Twitter account sent a message that has fueled frantic speculations about Shiba Inu (SHIB) integration. On its business communication platform Teams, the tweet in question makes a jest about two sorts of dogs that attend meetings. "Teams calls are 10x better when dogs are involved," the Teams Twitter account emphasized in a follow-up tweet.
The bulk of people think the tweets are about cute dog-themed coins. They have, as predicted, revved up the Shiba Inu rumor mill. Microsoft has been inundated with responses from the SHIBArmy, with some speculating on a potential strategic relationship with the 46-year-old computer powerhouse.

     Related Tweet: https://twitter.com/Microsoft/status/1491839886726475779

What do you think guys? Lots of people tweeted about this topic. Is it an opportunity to go up for SHIB?

I was looking at the word "Enraged" again just to be clear Cheesy and it means "very angry; furious" even if the Microsoft Teams didn't emphasize this is a follow-up tweet, why would the Shiba Inu community be enraged if this would only bring positivity to the project? or maybe it was just your subject title. Besides, any publicity in crypto is good publicity and especially from an organization like Microsoft. Anyways, I don't see the need for any dog picture coin community to be overly excited over every speech where a dog is mentioned, makes no sense.
522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba inu on: February 16, 2022, 10:02:10 AM
is it a joke or what?
i personally dont think that its a real deal to go up with.
Rumors that shiba inu is like bitcoin yet i dont see many websites using it. is there any earn-money site paying in shiba inu?
Of cause it is a joke cos I believe you probably made this up just to get peoples reactions, they are not even close in fact, it is even disrespectful to compare shib to Bitcoin just because it has gotten some hype and agreed it might be accepted by some organization however I don't have a problem seeing any crypto project grow as long as they have something to offer which I think Shib does but still not compared to Bitcoin.
523  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you protect your Bitcoin from market volatility? on: February 16, 2022, 09:49:50 AM
Exchange to stable coin might be a forward answer to protect from volatility and only trade with some portion of your money to prevent from huge loss. Volatility is the purpose why people are trading with Bitcoin, since they have a chance to made good sum money rather than other trading asset. Made 1% profit each day is already good, don't be too greedy or you could loss.

Right on point for me too even though you really need basic knowledge about trading and once that is set, just make sure you don't trade with greed which also is a major problem with most traders Crypto or FX. I learned that back in the days of my FX trading and I have used that experience in crypto trading once in a while even though I am not much of a day trader myself but once you understand the market and know when to trade to Stablecoins and buy back in, you can mitigate the market volatility.
524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if all the money in the world entered the cryptocurrency market? on: February 16, 2022, 09:41:23 AM
This question has been on my mind at this times ..
Will we see the price of Bitcoin at fantastic prices? i'm talking about +1.000.000$ For 1 BTC
And then what will happen to the other currencies (ALTS) ?
Will this be a positive thing for cryptocurrency!
Or is there risks and negative things that will happen in this market?
Because eventually there is a chance that this will happen
I mean If Crypto-currencies win and become one of the foundations of the new economic system.
Not Today , Not Tomorrow ,But this will happen .
Think about it ! It will be a good opportunity if we invest a small amount and leave it to our grandchildren in the future Wink
These are all almost childish fantasies that are not destined to come true. I don't think we'll ever see a $1 million bitcoin price. We don’t know if bitcoin could reach such a price even if it formed under ideal conditions for this. But bitcoin will always exist among states, and they are unlikely to be happy if very large capital is poured into the cryptocurrency, which they cannot fully control. I don’t want to predict what states can do in response to a significant increase in the influence of cryptocurrency in the financial sector, but such an influence of the state will definitely not be allowed.
Treu talk, it still surprises me when I see all these "IF" fantasy questions about Bitcoin, what if it was this and what if it was that. We all like to see that and we all or maybe not all understand how the Government and economic policies work. This ain't happening, that is, All the worlds money entering Bitcoin Grin I have asked this question before, which countries' Government will give up their fiat money for crypto or Bitcoin, I mean the ones that control the world economy?  Don't overthink it OP.
525  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your luck rate with CMC airdrops on: February 15, 2022, 04:37:23 PM
I just find out that it's not easy to win going coinomi airdrops, I've participated in 10 different airdrops and never get paid at all so when I rechecked I always see like only 1000 people selected out of 300k or more, why airdrop in the first place when only few people will be selected ?
I have never been a fan of all these airdrops but I must admit that I have participated in a few and came out blank in all of them and like you said, there are too many people competing for few resources and the projects gets all the publicity from those huge number of participants. I have long forgotten about those.
526  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not a safe haven for criminals on: February 15, 2022, 11:05:02 AM
Recently, I went through the article about the biggest cryptocurrency fraud in history executed by a married couple.  Ilya Lichtenstein and Heather Morgan, husband, and wife, have been tracked down by the FBI for laundering 119,754 bitcoins from Bitfinex five years ago. After many attempts to rinse the money through chain hopping on numerous anonymity enhanced cryptocurrencies like monero. The FBI was able to apprehend them.

I want to know, what else does the government want to regulate the cryptocurrency blockchain for if the FBI can perform such a rigorous search on all the virtual accounts that have been created online by the couple? And found the private key linked to the wallet that received the funds, and they recovered over $3.5 billion and recorded it as the biggest seizure in the cryptocurrency niche.

Quote
“Criminals always leave tracks, and today’s case is a reminder that the FBI has the tools to follow the digital trail, wherever it may lead,” said FBI Deputy Director Paul M. Abbate.

I think the transaction the Government cannot track in the block-chain technology has not be made. FBI claim that they will endeavor to trace any fraudulent activity in the cryptocurreny network through their 21st century investigative technique. (I don't know what they mean by that)

Quote
we're able to uncover the source of even the most sophisticated schemes and bring justice to those who try to exploit the security of our financial infrastructure.

Read:
https://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/two-arrested-alleged-conspiracy-launder-45-billion-stolen-cryptocurrency
After that success of FBI now the governments may change their mind for bitcoin. Now they cannot deny the fact that bitcoin is safe for fraud and if someone will do money laundering then they will be caught.

The bitcoin community is thankful to the FBI that they helped those who lost their money because of this hack. It will increase the courage of people who want to adopt bitcoin for their personal lives and for their businesses.
With bitcoin's transparency, it will always give a hard time for scammers and other criminal acts to succeed. They may enjoy the stolen money temporarily, but know that they will always be traced later on. That gives more advantage to use bitcoin as everything is transparent compared to fiat that is more dubious and questionable. That is why money fraudulence and laundering is rampant in fiat while in bitcoin its more controlled.
With all these advantages about bitcoin, i don't see enough reason why the government is still hesitant to accept bitcoin knowing all its transactions are transparent and so you can't see any illegalities from it. Best proof is that FBI has managed to traced whatever fraudulence that happened to it. That is, if the government can also be transparent in all their transactions, so there is no valid reason that bitcoin cannot be accepted as a currency.
Well, they know if this is going to be that case, how many of the people involved in Bitcoin will ever leave their money in any bank account? and how would they, the Government be able to control the people if they no longer have access to your funds? did you see what the Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is trying to do? Trudeau vows to freeze anti-mandate protesters' bank accounts. It is a way to control so they will never let it happen regardless of how transparent they know it is.
527  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When your freedom is taken, bitcoin and crypto is the solution! on: February 15, 2022, 10:47:02 AM
This is why we need bitcoin to reach mass adoption. They can freeze bank accounts because unfortunately they still have to convert bitcoin to fiat in order to be able to "spend" it which is where the totalitarian government can take advantage of and rob them of their own money. But if they could simply use bitcoin anywhere to purchase food, gas, etc. they wouldn't have needed the conversion in first place.
This only happens if people step in. If shops start accepting bitcoin payments, that would solve a lot of issues.
Yeah, I hear what you are saying and the whole situation is messy but wouldn't the same Government be able to Ban Bitcoin or cryptocurrency trading/acceptance by any retail or merchant in their country altogether and still leave the people in the same dilemma as it has happened in some countries?
528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Matic and BSC chain are now too popular not to include a crypto wallet on: February 15, 2022, 10:26:25 AM
I don't think that all crypto wallets supports available crypto chains out of the box e.g Matic and BSC, some wallets won't even allow you to add them like coinomi wallet, what wallets supports these chains out of the box?

I will try to mention some which fully supporting all of them started from

1. Metamask
2. Trustwallet
3. Safe[al

As far as i know almost all of people are using metamask caused by this extension wallet can be switched from one to the another RPC network easily and that makes people will be able from jumping from one chain to the another chain in a few seconds by changing the RPC of wallet. I thought that if you must try to use it or as ethereum users and you may already familiar with it.

Just try that and metamask was also supporting all of network that was compatible with EVM.

Between trust wallet and metamax why do people say that trust wallet is easier to use than metamax.
May I know what is the difference between the two of them?
what is meant by trust wallet is easy even though we also know that metamax is more accessible and supports all networks.

They are all good but I personally prefer Metamask because I can access all the same wallet both from my mobile and the laptop unlike trust wallet, this way whether I am on the go or on my PC I can do everything plus you can easily switch between different networks too and I have never had any issue with it anyways so cant speak on the support.

529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: potential moonshots on: February 15, 2022, 10:11:46 AM
Hello!I guess we all know its more reasonable to invest money into stable projects like BTC/ETH/SOL/ATOM/MATIC/DOT ect, but this isnt what this thread is about.
So if you were to gamble with a certain smaller percentage of your capital, which yet small and unknown projects would you invest into and why?

Why does it feel like you are asking for some get rich quick kinda shitcoin investment Grin I believe that this is what you are asking since you used the word "Gamble" I never gamble my investment in crypto whatsoever because I mean to make profits even if it will take me time which I am prepared to take and you should stick to your initial listed coins too instead of trying to catch a hyped project.
530  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Citizen Finance [CIFI] - Scammed Bounty Hunters on: February 15, 2022, 08:15:03 AM
I am surprise bounty hunting is still a thing in crypto. I saw the thread, seems they paid all other campaigns in full as you only signature and content creation (which means reddit, discord, twitter and youtube was fully paid). You should be grateful they even paid 4 out of 6 campaign fully and 30% of the other 2. Also, if the timeline they paid 30% was a peak of their token which means the token your hunters got alone for signature and content creator alone was more than $100,000 worth of token which you specified.
You must be part of the SCAM TEAM. The agreement is an agreement and should be followed to the lata. There shouldn't be any excuse for not paying because you said this is what you will pay and the time you will pay for it, It is obvious that you created this account just to answer this post, SHAME on you, if you really wanted to defend your position then you should come as who you are. Was there any specification that if a certain amount is paid even if the token was at ATH means the rest will not be paid? would you have paid more if the price was at its Lowest? You guy are SCAMMERS and will be labeled as One and you claim you are surprise bounty hunting is still a thing in crypto and here you are  Grin Grin Grin

It means the cifi team is here too. who is here to defend the project side. scam is scam, people will be grateful once they receive the full payment not the 20%. If they had done the distribution in early days then the price would not have been that much. Its again the team fault.

531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not blaming centralisation or decentralization, this is just a thought on: February 14, 2022, 08:07:41 AM
USDT had a shady past and this came to the masses because they are centralized, what if usdt was a decentralized stable coin in the beginning will we ever know their shady secret? My point is its easier to hide behind decentralization and still commit crimes, all in the name of anonymity and decentralization crimes will be easy in crypto space, centralisation won't fix much either but with centralisation going deep into investigation is possible, facing the law is possible, oh regulation is 100% effective on centralised projects too.
It is what it is and this is what you get for entering the space. People complain about the centralized Banking system and now are also complaining about Decentralised crypto space Grin Investors want to have it all and forget that there is always a price to pay.
532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How reasonable is the long-term investment in Altcoins? on: February 14, 2022, 07:48:51 AM
We all know that long term investment in Bitcoin is reasonable but how reasonable do you think long term investment in Altcoins is?
I think long-term investment in Altcoins is full of risks but short time investment is more profitable. Do you agree with me?
I don't think so at all, I actually believe it depends on the Altcoin that you have invested in. I know many of us only believe that Bitcoin is good for long-term investments but there are also good Altcoin projects in that realm too. I remember when Cardano was first listed on Bittrex Exchange back in 2017, I believe it was less than $0.01 and it did an ATH of $3+ and we also see BNB to an ATH of $600+ and lets not even go to ETH. The Altcoin list can go on but you must invest in good Altcoin projects.
533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Central bank and it ignorance on Bitcoin on: February 14, 2022, 07:26:57 AM
Bitcoin as a digital decentralized currency have been widely criticized by many banks and other financial monolithic characters who have been on for front of global financial system, the latest being the call of central banks governors to the EU for the total ban of bitcoin mining and trading ,this also came a week after the Rusia central bank governor advised the President against cryptocurrency adoption.
This have proven to a large extent the political undertone as regards to the central banks position on compartitors such as bitcoin having the capacity to transform the economy of a nation, state or region as a whole, what are the possibilities of central banks governors winning the war against the decentralized finances or will the central banks looses it relevancy when Bitcoin finally become a global currency.
Bitcoin is already a global currency if you look at it. Is there a continent on the face of the earth that Bitcoin is not known? or how many countries are there that still don't know about bitcoin even if it is not legal there? So my question is what do you mean by global currency? If you mean like a global legal tender then there is going to be an issue because that wouldn't be the case however, I believe that the Central Banks are the ones complicating the issue. Even all the Michael Saylor like Bitcoin investors still have fiat-based enterprises that deal with the banks and it is not possible for everyone to go bankless, so I say, the banks are just creating a problem that is not there.
534  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People Overthink Potential of Bitcoin on: February 14, 2022, 06:49:53 AM
Bitcoin is more against the banks and central banks then against the governments or corporations.
It's more about having more financial control and freedom to do things with your money and do it in different ways.
It's about making sure that you don't have to worry about what other people are doing with their currency since nobody or group can control BTC

-Dave

Isn't the banks and central banks the same as the governments or corporations? We all know the central banks are the government and the other banks are the corporations so on this note, is Bitcoin not against the government and the corporations? Like in Nigeria and some other countries where the government banned Bitcoin trading, that statement came from the Central Bank which is still an arm of the government so I don't think it's that easy to separate them.
535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India's confusing crypto bill on: February 14, 2022, 06:24:51 AM
So if not legal yet, using cryptocurrency will consider a crime? It's like some countries have been taxing alcohol drinks but it's illegal I'm their country. India making drama form while. They just make things more complicated and encourage people to use cryptocurrency in the black market. Officially announced about Tax, but not yet finalized whether it's legal or illegal. It's just a ridiculous statement to me, not only confusing.

That just shows how some Governments can become a nuisance to themself. How do you even tax something that you consider illegal in your country Huh If it is illegal that means it shouldn't be traded or used and yet you collect from the same illegal source. I think they want to weigh the option, of taking 30% tax against banning which will be better for the Government so I believe we have to wait until the Bill is actually passed.
536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: should i invest in new project? on: February 13, 2022, 02:05:21 PM
hello everyone
i hope you all are doing great I noticed many times the crypto project according to some events always grow like in last few days the project on metaverse is really trending everyone join these projects and everyone makes good profit just because Facebook talks about the metaverse. According to this analysis there is a project named Valentine.finance on BSC and they will be launch on 14th of Feb means on valentine's day and i guess due to project nature there is a chance to earn handsome profit so i a thinking to participate in their presale but i am afraid of losing money.so I need suggestions may be you guys know better than me. i also share whitepaper and website link
Whitepaper: https://valentine.finance/whitepaper.pdf
Website: https://valentine.finance/
For me, if I am having any doubt about a project, I let it go but this doesn't mean that the project is not good. All the old good projects were once new and the early adopters were the luckiest once however, you need to be convinced that the project is worth the risk because it is your money
537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you know when to sell? on: February 13, 2022, 02:00:09 PM
Do you have any pattern that you see or watch in the market to determine time to sell your hodlings and take your profit ?

Do you regret not selling your coins at any point because you didn't know it will drop ?

Can you share your opinion
It depends on your intention for investment, day trading is different from long term investments so profits target varies, however, since I mostly Hodl, I just follow the market trend for the season and might decide to take some % profit once am comfortable and reinvest when I feel the market is right to enter again which might not be the very bottom.
538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The world’s first blockchain toothbrush lets u mine coins by brushing your teeth on: February 13, 2022, 01:24:42 PM
I think this idea has a positive and negative impact on the population, because some will brush all day just to mine coin which is not good for the health.
Grin even with the heavy hard wear for mining it is still a difficult process to mine Bitcoin let alone just brushing your teeth which usually wouldn't take 10min, so how much sats will you be getting even if you brush your teeth all day Grin. It is s good marketing strategy but I don't think even if it went through if that will last long, what happens when you change the toothbrush?
539  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if crypto mining is outlawed ? on: February 13, 2022, 07:49:50 AM
always think positively about the progress of bitcoin, if you believe in bitcoin, avoid FUD about bitcoin because it will make you always think that you are not comfortable investing.
because FUD aims to drop the value of BTC at its base, so close your ears and eyes for a moment for peace

True that. Even after China banned the mining of Bitcoin, has it not recovered after then? all this negative news will always follow Bitcoin for now until there is no other negative FUD to peddle about Bitcoin and as you said until it actually happens that crypto mining has been banned all over those countries which I also think is unlikely, it is good to have a positive mindset about your investment so you don't act irrationally.
540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin doesn't have a bright future anymore on: February 13, 2022, 07:36:16 AM
2x-3x is pretty much just $1.6 trillion - $2.4 trillion in marketcap. Do you really think that's the highest that bitcoin can go lol? Even gold alone is like $10 trillion in marketcap.

It will do more but you wont get rich fast from it anymore.

eth is the safest bet to get rich with medium speed
Well, it certainly seems like you are predicting where the market will be in the coming years  Huh Huh Huh This is wide-guessing to me because Bitcoin could go higher than what you think.

I don't think it has always been about getting rich fast or quick and it has been a notion that some especially the newbies think of investing in cryptocurrencies even though some have been lucky with their investment but not aught to be the focus.

I believe Bitcoin has been and will always be a better investment when it comes to crypto and the rest will play catch up.
