Any copy / fork of original Bitcoin does not help to keep that new sector clean / compliant

There is only one relevant White Paper - stick to that, the rest might go away

528  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-01-12] The Era of Government-Friendly Bitcoin Miners Is Here on: January 19, 2021, 06:01:54 AM
Mining must be compliant / regulated anyway. It is the physical bridge - so the need electricity and infrastructure all day + pay with fiat. No way they can dodge and do evil & stay
529  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I get rich by trading on: January 18, 2021, 03:38:13 PM
Sure, you can. But it's a zero sum game, others will lose

The odds are bad far below 50%

536  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin Change GOLD AS STORE OF VALUE? on: January 15, 2021, 03:04:34 PM
Gold has lots of real physical functions and a 4000y track record and xxx of second layers / paper gold / ETFs .... products on top. Many tried to fake it by mixxing it with lead. Btc got mixxed with SegWit and has no scaling, no scripting - just no function any more. There might be only one functional Bitcoin

2021: The Year of Corporate and Institutional Crypto Adoption - or More Strikt Regulations to Kill ?

Both.  The weak will be killed but I think they’ll have the mother of all pumps before some event crashes everything and weak alts, ~95% will never rise again.  Expect mass network attacks too during the chaos.  Enjoy the huge moon ride just get out before it crashes.  BTC isn’t a safe haven.  Cash if you can or USDC, I wouldn’t trust USDT.

tethercorn is the future! B))) hehe

That would shock me.  They’re so sketch.  We’ll see.  When they buy puts on the bitcoin crash they could buy back all the USDT to cover the billions in phantom USDT then welcome the SEC back in.  But there’s no way they used 1:1 backed USDT to pump btc.  It was all Monopoly money.  I don’t mind, print $10 billion and bring Willy back too.  Lol

Today we might learn more when thetherfinex will deliver the requested docs for that US case.
Than that stable act
Than new SEC boss Gensler (ex CFTC)

all such USD trackers are derivatives

I think JP Morgan is behind the funny money, and Brock who’s a Goldman pet.  That’s the Rockefeller’s and company.  Wall Street is like a monopoly game for us.  They play got fun and the money is not bad either.  When they whistle the SEC heels.  That’s reality.  They’ll buy the dollars off the btc profits and it will be 1:1 by the time there’s a real audit and nobody will know jack.

And this new SEC boss?  Haha.  New dog on a leash.  Reminds me of the very serious and fair US AG, Barr.  He was so convincing yet did zero so he was just another pet.

Let’s be honest men - this is a game for the boys in the big club, and we’re not invited so I’m very grateful for being given the opportunity to play at the big table with some fair rules.  That’s some code of honor and fair play you usually don’t see.

Right, we are only 'invited' to read / watch the (altered) news, cause even Twitter shuts down direct wells for - so here only buy and eat popcorn is what's left.
What ya think about Twetch? or Streamanity ? Or Metanet at all - will that replace lots of 'news' sources for good?

Maybe good to build here.

Not sure if deep state let us far enough

540  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: AML/KYC Explained on: January 15, 2021, 07:08:19 AM
Well, In simple words KYC refers to a process whereby companies commit to identifying and verify the identity of their clients. Banks use this process, for example, to try to avoid money laundering.

To be 100% fair the clients or the customers of the company, bank or whatever legal entity
should have the ability I mean rights to do same  KYC/AML of any person working for the company
that is dealing with his/hers data.

? - You know the company and find out lots about in public

KYC and prove source of funds / beneficial ownership helps you to really own things - cause: who finally ensures you 'own' things ?
