521  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: December 06, 2023, 10:45:43 AM
When it comes to slot games, I personally have come to the believe that most times, if not all times, winning is always programmed by the system, and how this is done is probably based on how much profit the casino have made and how much they are willing to give out to some of their customers in the form of winnings through slot games and some other pure luck based games.

So, whether a player buys free spins or not, I do not think this will make any much difference at the end of the day because, the player wil still depend on luck to win, so instead of trying to force luck on yourself through wasting money on free spins, better to just leave and try again some other time, and who knows, you may end up playing again at a time when the casino has much to give out in winning.
Slots use RTP. RTP means Return To Player. When slot has 90% RTP, this means that system automatically gives 90% of money to players and takes 10% of the money in own pocket. This doesn't mean that you'll lose when you play slots and it's the unluckiest game. It means that when you play slots, you might still win but that's because other person would lose and opposite, your lose profits other players. In the end, casino only cares to make a profit of 10% from capital that was flowing in slots. Btw because of the competition, recently we have slots with 99% RTP and that's amazing. Stake has a slot with 99% as I know.
522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: December 06, 2023, 10:17:40 AM
Today I read that UEFA is going to let Christiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr to participate in UEFA Champion's League. Does anyone know if that's true? If that's true, then we will be able to see Christiano Ronaldo playing against European teams to win Champions League. I think Al Nassr is a weak team but it will be amazing to be able to see him playing in Europe again. If they let Christiano's Al Nassr to play in Champions League, then they will also let Messi's Inter Miami to play in Champions league too and we will be able to see two GOATs again. I hope this is not a rumor and it's true. Can anyone confirm it?
523  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mixers - Are we the product? on: December 06, 2023, 09:19:59 AM
I can't be the only one.

After chipmixer was shut down, a ton of other mixers started operating at a very close proximity time-wise.
Is that fishy or am I paranoid?
It can't be that one sided I think.
Before Chipmixer we had bitmixer. Bitmixer was really the biggest bitcoin mixer but their owner decided to shut down this money-making website because many people were arrested in 2016-17 and many darknets were seized, he would probably be the next. Bitmixer shut down their service and then many people created mixer websites, many used the shut down of bitmixer to start a new business and many mixers came up on market. Chipmixer was only invented two months earlier before bitmixer announced shutdown of their service. Chipmixer started signature campaign similar to bitmixer.io and slightly increased their payrate soon. Then soon bitmixer announced a shutdown but chipmixer continued. Despite a huge rise of bitcoin's price, chipmixer kept their original bitcoin payrates and hired even more people. Chipmixer hired one of the best, trustworthy and famous bitcointalk users, promoted service through them and become one of the biggest mixer.

Btw not many mixers started operating after chipmixer was shut down. Many mixers that you see advertised on this forum started this business before chipmixer's shutdown, not after their shutdown.

This really does make you think, WHY? Why would a service allegedly moving billions worth in proceeds need to advertise here, and so aggressively even, especially when their customer base seems to be set in stone from day one?
Every mixer become famous from this forum. There is no better place other than this forum for crypto enthusiasts. This is the forum where satoshi was posting himself, isn't that enough?

I have a simple theory on why that might be happening. By looking at what generated the largest volumes in these mixers, I conclude that no bitcointalk user could be possibly be in need to launder billions in hacked funds, and would never be in dire need to launder cash associated with violent crime like drugs or fraud at this magnitude.

Instead, an illusion of privacy was promoted to clearnet users (that's us here in bitcointalk), while in fact our "cleaner" funds were used to bail out real criminals and terrorists. Because to a mixer, a clean bitcoin, is worth more than market value, so they were willing to overpay for it in the form of advertising. Come to think of it, the recent bust of Sinbad served as a reminder that mixers are in fact very traceable.
Why do you think that bitcointalk users wouldn't generate large volume? Every early adopter comes from this forum, every business rose from this forum, how can you say that?
These mixers weren't using our clean coins to feed darknet users. You can check that recent mixers focus on offering you offering coins that will pass AML test with high score. Mixers focus on making you untraceable and protecting your privacy.
524  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Is Samsung blockchain wallet safe? on: December 06, 2023, 08:29:14 AM
I am 19 years old and I am living in south korea. I transfered all of my bitcoin from electrum to Samsung blockchain wallet.
They provide restore phrase and wallet. It is an app that you can download through galaxy store.
I think this is quite safe because Samsung is very legit company.
They also say that they can't see my restore phrase.
I am curious about your opinion.

Currently, I transfered 0.00399 btc to Samsung blockchain wallet, and I will buy about 100 dollar worth of btc excluding binance network fee every month and transfer to Samsung blockchain wallet.

I have successfully stored up to 0.3 BTC for 4 years in my smartphone on Electrum wallet. I know this is not the smartest thing to do but I haven't lost my coins because I don't download any app and I don't visit any strange website.
Since this is only my experience and I know I was probably lucky, I suggest you to use hardware wallet if you are looking for cold storage. Even if you will manage to keep your device secure, you have to consider accidental drops (never happened to me luckily in my life), theft, damage, software/hardware problems and etc... Just buy a good hardware wallet, secure your seed phrases and seriously take care of your security.

525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First Bitcoin Bar in Sofia, Bulgaria looks Interesting on: December 05, 2023, 08:14:45 PM
There was a Cafe like that in my country, a crypto cafe in the capital, in a good location but owner was unable to make that Cafe work despite the fact that he tried his best for one year to make it alive and wasn't in profit, didn't manage to attract people. One or two person would come once in a while and that was all. He had a bitcoin ATM, even a friend of mine had bitcoin ATM in a very prestigious area but there was no interest. Bitcoin is still a new thing for many people.

I'm not from Bulgaria, but definitely, this kind of business is good for Bitcoin. Maybe they can held monthly or even weekly meeting there and talk about what else their favorite subject, BTC.
It's very hard to held monthly or weekly meetings if there aren't many people interested in crypto in your country and area. It's very hard to make crypto Cafe work but I only wish all the best to the owner, hope this will be the start of something great.

Guys I have been holding FUN token on Freebitco for a long time. Now I want to withdraw all of them for a while, to trade with it and buy them later to deposit on Freebitco and get amazing rewards. If I withdraw my coins today but deposit them 30 days later, will I have to start from scratch again? I have been holding coins for 360 days and I get 10 free spins a day but if I withdraw them and deposit 50K FUN again, will I be able to get 10 free spins a day? Or will I ge the benefit of one day holding period and will progress over time? Does anyone have any experience?
527  Economy / Gambling / Re: are bookies fortunejack.com & rollbit.com trustworthy with larger amounts ? on: December 05, 2023, 09:35:32 AM
are bookies fortunejack.com & rollbit.com  trustworthy with larger amounts ?

somebody can confirm betting on this 2 bookies with over 10k , 50k ? and no issues with withdrawls
I wouldn't risk that much on these casinos. I don't mean that you won't be able to get your money back but I think you might face problems like KYC and delayed withdrawal because there have been cases like these with huge wins. Check the trust on their bitcointalk profiles, check references and you'll understand what I mean.

I think it's safer to bet high bets on sportsbet.io and stake.com. By the way, in any case, if you bet high on FortuneJack and Rollbit, even if you face problems, there is a very high chance that you'll be able to get your winnings with the help of the community. These two casinos care about their trust on this forum.
528  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: December 05, 2023, 08:50:40 AM
I agree to it to a certain extent. When people are not happy or had a bad experience, they are more inclined to write a (negative) review; personally I have done that sometimes. When a site has too many positive reviews, than you know they are fake or were paid to give their opinion. You see something similar on Amazon; some people get paid to review some items and in 95% of the cases, all these reviews are positive to very positive.
Trustpilot reviews don't make any sense to me. If someone wants to see the casino reviews, they have to visit bitcointalk.org and check casino representatives' profiles. If someone has a negative trust, then checking of reference link is enough to have an idea about if casino is a scam or not. There are many casinos with positive trusts left on their profiles, this means that casino is a good and trustworthy.

To be honest, it's hard to determine casino's trustworthiness by only looking at reviews. Many people post a negative review if they lose and don't profit from casino and that's wrong, that doesn't make casino a scam company. If casino pays on time and has no technical problems with good customer support and response time, then they deserve positive reviews but people rarely consider these criterias.
529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you make gambling a profession - a full time job on: December 04, 2023, 08:28:30 AM
I'd like to clarify that this topic is distinguished from businesses or entrepreneurs involved in gambling as businesses, such as casino companies, etc., but with a focus on gamblers. I know there are many people who regard themselves as professionals at playing gambling games, but do you ever think that one can make gambling a full-time job and career because of his or her deep knowledge of the games? Can someone bet with little or no loss because it is one of the most unpredictable games to play?

Gambling to my understanding, is a trial-and-error game with uncertain outcomes, unpredictability, and luck. Therefore, professional gamblers must exhibit a deeper than usual understanding of the games, the statistical probabilities, and a high level of risk management skills.

However, it is critical to realize the risks involved, which include unstable financial circumstances and potential addiction problems. So, pursuing a gambling career should be approached with serious caution, and gamblers ought to be well-informed about the accompanying problems. Furthermore, I believe that having various sources of income and taking calculated risks will be highly beneficial.

But, in a broader sense, can you make gambling a career path, abandoning all other sources of income to focus entirely on it?
If so, why?
If not, please advise!
You can become a professional gambler but you have to be careful with it. You can't become a professional slots gambler or dice gambler, this is impossible because house is always the winner, your strategy can't change the outcome of 2+2=4. Your strategy can't make it 5. But you can build a career around Poker. Poker is a game that involves a combination of luck and skill. Luck alone is not enough to win, you need skills, you need to know when to bluff, when to be honest, etc. A friend of money loved poker so much that he become a professional poker player and is a member of a poker team sponsored by local casino. He often goes in poker tournaments and is totally sponsored, has a salary too.

Interview Bitmixer’s Exit and Darknet Market Chaos: How Monero Stands to Benefit

They will have to deeply research about Bitmixer and clarification from the mixer's owner and reasons of self-closing the mixer in 2017. I believe the Bitmixer owner consultation with his lawyers and his deeply thinking before closing down that platform will be serious enough for other mixers' owners to think about their services.
That's not an interview, that's just article.
Bitmixer owner said that he contacted his pastor, not his lawyer but this is bullshit. He smelled that it was dangerous to continue to operate Bitmixer.io and when he saw that so many people got arrested in 2016-17, he decided to shut down his service. He is the one of the smartest guy out there who knows when to start and when to stop. Bitmixer was a real money making machine.

Why do you all think that Bitmixer owner was stupid? Mixer over mixer is created every day with the same algorithm, no significant improvement. Blockchain analysis companies are getting better and better. If it was impossible to arrest someone 6 years ago, now it's possible to easily catch with the help of blockchain. Blockchain is not an unreadable book anymore. Bitmixer owner suggested everyone to move on Monero if you want privacy and full anonymity, everything is clear.

Want privacy without being in panic all the time? Use Monero.
Want doubtful privacy and being in panic all the time? Use mixers.

Choice is yours!

Mixers will find another way to advertise their platforms, bitcointalk was not their only platform. They might still be able to bypass restrictions because there doesn't exist any restriction without loopholes. What about only this text in signature without ahref link? Sinbadio platform for your coin safety. It's still an advertisement, just simple text but easy to understand what website to visit for those who know ABC in computer and internet.

531  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: December 04, 2023, 07:10:44 AM
Well, it's like what have been discussed here about 1xbet in my country, many still trust and believe in this casino, they have a lot of customers over here, and personally, I have never come across anyone complaining about being scammed or losing money unduly on the casino.
Infant, i myself have played on this casino and have withdrawn some multiple times without issues, but then, I still honestly will bot vouch for them since they could be selectively scamming some customers on low key.

So yeah, any gambler who is not confident enough should avoid both 1xbit and 1xbet, they are indeed under the same company.
You are completely right and I agree with you, I also have played multiple times on 1xbet, their online version actually, since I don't like patronizing offline casinos or betting agents, and multiple times I've won, I've always been able to withdraw without any issue, I haven't even done a kyc verification and they(1xbet) have never also asked me to do so before I did be able to withdraw, so on my side, they seem trustable, but like what you said that, you can't vouch for them since it's possible that they might be scamming people on low key, I think it's pretty the same for me, I also have never come across anyone offline complaining about being scammed by 1xbet, but I still can not advice new players to chose 1xbet since there are several other good and well trusted casinos around to chose from.

So very well, may be my opinion would have been different if I weren't so sure that the same parent company own 1xbit and 1xbet, so yeah, if 1xbet is scam, there is every chance that 1xbet might be engaging in scam to, if not now, possibly later in the future, so they should be avoided too.
I think that 1xbet changed their strategy in somewhere 2019-20. When someone would type 1xbet in Google, their result would be that 1xbet is scam company, scam bookmaker and etc but in 2019-20 1xbet started to become very active on Russian market. They opened tons of blackjack tables in Evolution gaming and put tons of money in marketing to attract Russian players. It seems 1xbet understood that honesty is the best policy, even if you want to make money.
By the way their past actions tells a lot about them. That's why I don't trust them and their sister companies. They created bet-b2b platform and created tons of scam casinos.
532  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - Drake, UFC, Everton, Alfa Romeo F1 Team on: December 03, 2023, 01:58:09 PM
I have already stated that I do not have a utility bill. they kept asking for utility bill. so i sent them a utility bill of my address. i have already provided 3 documents prior regard to proof of address.

also is not the reason why my 6 selfies are denied. i have explained they are all clear. you must work for stake?

all users beware stake pays many shills to vouch for their scam. they will steal your money.
I had the same problem with Payoneer. They couldn't understand that in a country where I live, things work differently and I am not able to provide any utility bill because it's paid by the one who owns the house, only house owner's name is written on it, mine can't be, even if I rent the house, my name can't be written on it because house owner can rent house without any document or paper agreement.

i have been very polite and have provided all documents. they have given me level 2 after 7 selfies. if you were in my position you would be on site doing the same thing. you are fortunately to not be in this situation. i don’t know what else to call them other than scam site. i have sent 7 nearly identical selfies and they finally verify. they ask for passport which i do not have. i ask every support email and live chat what to do without passport. no one respond. they keep asking for passport. i tell everyone for hours no passport, they tell me to send id again, so i do. then the verify asks for passport. then i say to all support no passport. they tell me after 2 day to send id. i send id, the very ask for passport again. i go to live chat explain no passport. they tell me ID is ok, send id. so i send id. very tells me passport again.

this  situation happen 7 times. do you want me to explain rest of situation? it is very confusing. make no sense to me. i am just here to warn people of scam.
It's probably very rare to see case like this, I totally understand how bad it feels. I don't know your location but if you are from Georgia, I can confirm that people can't provide utility bill and also don't need to have passport and many people don't own one because people don't travel often.
533  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What percentage of bitcoin investors are gamblers ? on: December 03, 2023, 01:26:42 PM
What percentage of bitcoin investors are gamblers ?  Where will this figure be if we consider worldwide users ? I think it will be somewhere between 10-20% ? Also, it is possible that most of gamblers are still not bitcoin investors ? I see  less chances of the later happening.
And why would you possibly think they'd be around 10-20%? I don't think it's possible to get an accurate account of that because there literally no way to find out an exact figure. But my own guess is that majority of gamblers who use crypto casinos to gamble could be involved in Bitcoin investment, so of you can be able to get the total number of crypto gamblers then you might as well have a hint or clue of how much percentage of them would be involved in Bitcoin investment
It's just an estimation. 10-20% means 1 or 2 out of 10 investor is a gambler. There are up to 219 million bitcoin owners, it's hard to say how many of them hold or hodl. Out of 2019 million owners, half of them can be users who use it only for transactions and not for investment purposes. Probably it's safe to say that 1% of bitcoin investors are gamblers too. When I was participating in Bitsler's signature campaign, I was actively checking chat and bets history. One thing that I noticed was that many people who were betting from 1 to 10 bitcoins, were early adopters who had hundreds or thousands of bitcoins and didn't care about loss of 1 or two bitcoins.
534  Other / Meta / Re: Was the forum better before without Merit or is it better now with Merit? on: December 03, 2023, 10:28:51 AM
Members, reputable members. Was it better before back then when this forum was without merits or is it better or even much better now with merits? Please explain your answer so users like me can get an idea how it was and what you prefer. Smiley
It was better when bitcoin was something new and people were discovering it, it was better when web wasn't super advanced and when crypto businesses were a new thing. It was just a good time, a new day, revolution in financial system, a new niche, a new thing to build business around.
Merit was implemented in 2017, this was the time when bitcoin gained widespread attention and become a very successful cryptocurrency. Also, since 2017, web and crypto businesses developed further and this forum lost popularity a little bit. This forum is not as mainstream as it was before and new things don't start from this forum like it was before.

So, I wouldn't ask whether was this forum better before merit or not, I would ask, was this forum better before 2017 or not. Btw it's noticeable that forum members are putting more effort to post high quality posts. To be honest, merit and high-paying signature campaigns, like Chipmixer, played very important role into making this forum a better place.

Does anyone know from BitFury why do I get You are being rate limited message?
Quote
The owner of this website (betfury.ai) has banned you temporarily from accessing this website.

I was scrolling NFT lootboxes and I get redirected to this page so many times that it's impossible to do anything on your website. I don't use VPN and I don't understand what is the problem.

Anyone of your already tried NFT Lootboxes?

I am looking on spins history, and it does not look like it is very popular. Either people dont understand and want to try it, or NFT does not attract them. Personally, I dont believe in all that NFT thing, dont believe in their value, so I spend few bucks, won like few cents and went back to more default games Cheesy

P.S. Sometimes it is both hard to believe and looks shocking, when a guy makes a 1.5k purchase and wins 76k worth Bored Ape Yacht club NFT with 0.77% chance to win only. I mean there are lots of less risky games there for a 1.5k single bet.
At first I didn't understand what was the difference between expensive and cheap bored ape yacht club box but now I understand that difference is only chance of winning main prize. Btw it's not 1.5K purchase, it's almost 2K purchase per spin. I played that ape box with demo and I only won betfury tokens in 45 Spin. That user was really very lucky. Btw is it easy to sell NFT? Can you immediately sell them?
536  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We All Know, The halving time will be full of drama on: November 30, 2023, 07:58:47 PM
Bitcoin jumping and dumping is a part of its business method. No one knows when the whale will appear and the rate of BitCoin will go up or down. And no one knows about it either. When will Bitcoin go back to its previous position? There are only predictions, guesses and appearances. And that's what Bitcoin is all about.
However, no one can deny this. That it is the fastest growing business in the world. And countless of its sub-coins have hit the market. All of these coins are descendants of Bitcoin. And his children are increasing day by day.
.
No one knows exactly what will happen to Bitcoin's price, not whales, not China, not USA, absolutely no one knows what will happen after a certain accident, we all speculate and expect this or that to happen. If we have a look at Bitcoin's price, it's easy to predict that Bitcoin's price will rise after next halving. We aren't 100% sure but we know that when there is a halving, people will positive about bitcoin's price rise, miners receive 1/2 of yesterday's reward and businesses try to express their interests, like Paypal and Elon Musk did in 2020.

Gambling is not bad after all but addiction is, gambling has been receiving a lot of negative reactions and feedback but gambling also has a lot of health benefits associated with it but you can only get these benefits if you are a responsible gambler and you have total control of what you wage and limit your bankroll

These are some of the benefits to see more of its benefits you can read the whole article here

Can you add more besides what's written in this article?

Surprising Health Benefits of Gambling

I can confirm from my experience that Gambling really improves mood and relieves stress. When I was very depressed, I used to gamble on live blackjack where I was able to bet small and interact with live dealers. Gambling and chit-chat with them really helped me to improve my mood. It's sad that some people think that they can make millions from gambling and constantly profit from casino because this is not the case. Casino and gambling are for fun, not for profit. You can get a huge fun if you prioritize your fun experience and forget profit. Profit is a nice addition that you can experience if you are lucky. There are only a few games like Poker where skill is involved too along with luck.
538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: November 30, 2023, 11:56:36 AM
Al Hilal has everything they need to have to win the Saudi League title and even after Neymar getting injured in this team, I think Al Hilal can be the first hope for the Saudi League at the end of the season even if they can have a great chance for the AFC Champions League with the current team they have, but Al Nassr need to try harder here because a player like Ronaldo came here to win the trophy and that's a shame for them to take anything but the Saudi League title.

This is not a one man team and depending on Ronaldo to champion them to the league title is not something that can be easily done. They need to all improve in their individual performances and use many of their opportunities well in their favour when they play matches. Al Hilal is not that much of a special team than they are, having their star player injured is an opportunity for them to also work on their game to gather more points even though they seem not to look weak even as they’re missing one of their best player Neymar.
Winning a title is not an easy thing for Ronaldo even though Al Nassr relies on him to be able to bring Al Nassr to success but the opponents in the Saudi pro league are not easy. Al Hilal has become Al Nassr's tough competitor this season. Seeing Al Hilal's consistency so far has really made Al Nassr It is difficult to shift Al Hilal position, but what is certain is that Al Nassr will fight hard with these strong rivals.
It's not a good idea when team depends on one player, especially on striker instead of playmaker. Ronaldo is a great striker, one of the greatest in history but good striker needs good midfielders who will provide him with good assists. Ronaldo doesn't have superstar midfielders in his team and whole squad depends on his skills. I think this is wrong. It makes more sense to make whole squad dependent on Messi instead of Ronaldo because Messi is a playmaker and can always create threats, start from scratch and dribble through 5 players to score the goal.
539  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with crypto because taxation makes no sense? on: November 29, 2023, 07:16:30 PM
Moreover, in many countries, filling out the forms to get taxed can be a nightmare. For winning 100$ for example, you will have to pay a big chunk of it to an accountant to find how it should be taxed. Bureaucracy is a whole other debacle in and of itself.
Where do you have to pay taxes on winning? In my country I don't have to pay any tax to win or withdraw money from casino. I couldn't imagine if anyone had to pay taxes on winning. Btw what happens when you lose? Do you get tax return? This is so unfair.

I'd imagine that many people actually chose to gamble with crypto to avoid these restrictions and bureaucratic procedures. It really makes no sense to go through all these troubles to tax a small winning amount. Still if someone happened to win a large amount on a small bet by chance, I'd imagine some people would want to tax it so they can spend it in the real economy as fast as possible.
If someone lives in a country where they pay tax on winning from blackjack on casino, they might be forced to pay taxes on their crypto income, so this is not going to help them.
540  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Monero - Privacy as the world becomes more dystopian on: November 29, 2023, 03:39:59 PM
To me it seems Monero is something that should not be ignored.

Also scaling is another issue, Bitcoin fees are 1000x Monero fees.

There's no reason why you can't Coinjoin/Lightning your UTXO's in conjunction with Monero - it's a good privacy tool and supplement to Bitcoin IMO.

Thoughts please. I want some honest opinions here.
Everyone can check my post history. I have been saying since 2017 that Monero is the next big thing that happened in crypto world. Monero is the currency that protects our privacy the most but it shocks me that Monero ranks 25th on coinmarketcap. As it looks, not everyone is looking for privacy but Monero will grow over time, people will appreciate the benefits that monero brings. At the moment Bitcoin Mixers are doing their job well, they simply cost expensive because Bitcoin price and transaction fees have increased.
