521  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost more in the process to recover ? on: October 23, 2020, 12:56:37 PM
This happened to me and I know a lot of gamblers here. You will always have that day when you can't just stand losing straight and you just want to try and try to win not knowing it should've been stop earlier. There are times that you are so mad at work and you need to breath some air and do gambling then it is just a loss streak, that would be really annoying. Gladly, I am done with that, I lost a lot of bitcoins because of that, we should really learn from our mistakes in the past.
522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe NBA is rigged? on: October 23, 2020, 11:42:25 AM
With so many games that will take place that might be so hard to find out, rigging the games are unpredictable and can happen in a certain live games, we can't say or assess it right away unless you have insiders that will tell you exactly which games will be manipulated.

You have to extend your time doing deeper research to anticipate to possibilities of this claims.

I am sure the referee will do their best to guard the match, even if some referees try to rig the games by giving punishment to some players. But if we want to do deeper research, that will not be easy, since that will need to watch closely for each of them. We can let the match run while we can enjoy the game without thinking about the rig because we are not sure about that.

Well, there are times that the referee are making these weird calls that might be a proof that there are games that are rigged. We don't know actually know what is happening but if there are those people that bet huge amount of money into these sports, I think there are those times where it is being rigged by either the players themselves or the referees.

But that will need more proof for the referee to be guilty, and the association can not judge the referee without having more proof. The audience will not know, but sometimes, the audience can see it clearly, but we can not do anything once again. But I hope that if the NBA games really get rigged, the person can be proved as a suspect, be punished, or be a prison.

A lot of cameras are focussed on every game so I don't think you could just say that they are not guilty as they can review a lot of tapes a million of times as they wanted to. They can be fined, they can be fired, well, as long as they love their job I don't think they would just let theirselves being paid for them to control or manipulate a game.
523  Economy / Economics / Re: Are online communities dead ? I can't find online communities to advertise ... on: October 23, 2020, 01:29:02 AM
The internet has become very weird ... Any online communities you recommend where i can advertise web dev,web design and graphic design services ...?

Better advertise them on social media. Most of the people right now are glued to their PC, laptop, or their mobile phones and most of their run-to applications are social media like Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. There are also games that are getting popular so maybe you could talk to them about advertising your services.
524  Economy / Economics / Re: Not enough Corona Virus Vaccine until 2024, at earliest on: October 22, 2020, 11:53:44 PM
There's no vaccine yet but there are countries that don't have any recent covid records these days. Despite the absence of the vaccine, they are still able to handle the covid situation in their country which means that its symptoms could be treated so I don't think we'll still be in a worse situation because of it. Things are getting quite better these days.

The symptoms might be able to treat but that doesn't go with other people since there are those that don't have that much immunity when it comes to their respiratory system. There are people who are at risk when it is related to respiratory diseases, these countries just really know what they are doing and the people there are so disciplined to follow the protocols that are why they could stop it. If that is the case with other countries, I don't think we will not be having these problems at all.
525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Darkside Hackers donating Bitcoins on: October 22, 2020, 10:48:11 PM
Being a thief wouldn't change you even if you help other people, at the end of the day you are still a thief. These guys must be making good things from the bad things they would do but that will not change anything. They still hacked the bitcoins they have, obviously some charity would not accept that since police might involve them to hwat happened.
526  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some of the benefits of Bitcoin ... on: October 22, 2020, 03:33:32 PM
Personally I am getting benefits from Bitcoin. In different situation, I use Bitcoin. As a large number of online shops are offering products for Bitcoin, I buy without any hassle. Besides, the transaction of Bitcoin saves my time and money.

This is really great is your country has a lot of users of bitcoin or other crypto currencies. But in terms of other countries where the number of users of bitcoin is so low, the acceptance of it is also low and we can't always use to things we wanted to that is why we are stucked on using fiat, we can convert some of it though to cash and use that.

528  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A case of the pandemic changing the score and affecting sports betting on: October 22, 2020, 12:23:12 PM
Yes the case in pandemic might change the score and affect the game play of the team. Just like your example with the only goal keeper left which could really affect the game since he would likely forced to play throughout the game and without any rest this might change his performance and so would affect the score and will affect the sports betting.

It worked well with NBA, I don't know if it works with other sports but if that is the case I think that would be really hard. But it is the pandemic and I don't think it would resume completely with these kinds of handicaps. It might be something that happened because of coincidence or maybe we can say tha this pandemic really affected the sports.
529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: October 22, 2020, 11:28:29 AM
I disagree with Giannis though, I don't think that GSW will be interested on getting him since the core is still there will good and young upcoming talents.

They were able to convinced KD to joined the team, I think they can also do that with Giannis if the MVP is willing to leave the team for a chance to win a championship. I believe it's a better version of GSW than KD having them as Curry and Thompson could certainly do their thing here.

For me it is just great for Giannis to stay at Milwaukee. If he will just be aiming to get a championship with that duo and Green on his team, I don't think that he would improve. He's still young, he could still grow with his team and make another hit in the playoffs. I don't know what they are lacking but I am still rooting for them in the next season.
530  Economy / Economics / Re: Pandemic: good for the bitcoin market or bad? on: October 22, 2020, 10:41:42 AM
It can be good for bitcoin market because people are now desperate not to get infected with the virus so bitcoin will be useful for online transactions rather than face to face transactions which could make you infected with the virus.

Well, it is not always the case as there are a lot of peoole that are so desperate to earn for their family that they would risk theirselves so they would find a job. Most of them are not scared to get the virus since they still doesn't have it, but when they do, that is when they start blaming and fear what is happening.
531  Economy / Economics / Re: Pandemic: good for the bitcoin market or bad? on: October 15, 2020, 11:01:05 PM
If you take a close look at the cryptocurrency market, you can see that the pandemic had a negative impact on the performance of Bitcoin and other cryptos. We were expecting a big spike after the block reward halving in May. To this date, this spike has not realized and I believe that the economic downturn caused by the pandemic is one of the reasons for that.

There are some instances that the halving didn't create a positive effect on the value of bitcoin, I think we are still lucky that the price went up and it didn't dump. I don't know how bad are you thinking it is but I think it is one of the best scenarios to happen with the market. It did fell but it didn't even last for a month since it just went back up.
532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some of the benefits of Bitcoin ... on: October 15, 2020, 12:34:33 PM
This depends on the country. It is true that bitcoin could offer efficiency to a lot of its users but if it is not that known and popular to a person's country, I don't think you will be able to utilize that efficiency. Right now, most of the people here that are doing online transactions do COD or Cash on Delivery. There are people that pay online but most of them are still using fiat.
533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 12 years and no country has approved Bitcoin ?? on: October 14, 2020, 11:58:54 PM
:)Bitcoin was launched in 2007. It's 12 years and still no country has approved Bitcoin ??   Huh

and in 2018, 2nd richest man "Warren Buffet" said "bitcoin will end up badly" Smiley

Its not like it still needs approving or legalizing. Bitcoin is good the way it is since its already being used Internationally but it is still possible for a country to pursue the utilization of Bitcoin into further applications. All we can do is support it and watch how it will go. Keep HODLing!!

That is so true. What we can do now is just wait to what will happen in the near future. Bitcoin is being developed so that it could be used in such manners, right now the adoption is not that high the reason that people are not that familiar with it. In the near future, I think crypto currency will be one of the most popular way to trasact or pay online.
534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A case of the pandemic changing the score and affecting sports betting on: October 14, 2020, 02:05:10 PM
Because of the COVID19 pandemic there is some rules and regulations have imposed over this sector and obviously it make big changes. Few months back we have complete isolated, that cause immediately stopped most major games that's why sports betting industry has severely affected but right now sports is gradually returning once more, and that implies sports betting is returning as well.

They are back but we can't say that they are back the same as the past. We have rules right now and they need to follow them for the sports to continue. It is a big help to people as most of us are so bored in our houses with this pandemic. In terms of sports betting, I guess we could say that it blows up since the games that they could bet right now are limited.
535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is Addictive...Pay Attention to your Gambling Habit!!! on: October 14, 2020, 12:42:53 PM
I didn't know the difference in English between gambling and betting: in my native language I think that there is no difference, only different "types of bets"..

Well, putting or staking something, usually money is betting. If you bet something that means you are gambling.

Your friend is not curse rather he is only dreaming to be mega rich over night. It's very difficult to break away from gambling addiction. The only way the addiction could ever stop, is by taking him far away from the gambling center, where he won't be able to gamble again. Apart from that, he won't be able to stop gambling....

Not all of those addicted gamblers want to be rich that quickly. There are gamblers that just wanted to get back losses they've had but they just kept on losing in the long run. Taking your distance in gambling won't solve your addiction, you need to face it and accept that you are addicted. If you will just put yourself away like that, your desire to gamble will just build up and will blow up in time.

....
Regarding AD's free agency, its still complicated at this time. I read an article saying that he rejected the offer of the Lakers because he wants to play in other teams. Although this is still a rumor, there might be a chance that he will do what Kawhi did last season.

IMO, I think AD wouldn't reject Lakers' offer is that is the case. He's been talking about how he's been pushed by his teammates and that he said that he could still learn a lot of things from his teammates. I wanted to see how much more he could grow with Lebron and the team. Still, I think it could also be the case since I think people are thinking he's doing great since he's in that team with Lebron.
537  Economy / Economics / Re: Why criminals prefer cash (Fiat) on top of crypto? on: October 14, 2020, 12:38:57 AM
I disagree with the opinion on the topic. Professional criminals prefer cryptocurrency to cash. If you look at Deepweb, you will see that many illegal things are made with cryptocurrency. Since the rate of cryptocurrency usage is low in the world, this rate also seems to be low in criminals. However, I think, it is much more than estimated.

It is true that there are criminals that prefer bitcoin or other crypto currencies as payment but if you will be asking me, I think the notorious ones prefer fiat to bitcoin or other crypto currencies. Online, most of the time use cryptos since online transactions can be tracked, but bitcoin can also be tracked. That is why some prefer to pay offline since fiat can be used anywhere, they are not limited to use and they are untraceable.

They can easily penetrate in using fiat than cryptocurrency. I think it is not literally trackable the transaction since we are anonymous when we use cryptocurrency. But there are still way to track a certain address due to the blockchain technology which records the past transaction of the coin we used. Well, fiat can`t be tracked easily because you can hide it anywhere. You can use it also in any part of the world specially if you have dollars. I never know how criminals did to their scam money but I am pretty sure that they are good in hiding their money.

As far as I know, that huge money that they got from scams or maybe to other crimes like corruptions are being laundered for example in casinos or most often bank smurfing as they call it. I think it is better for these criminals to launder the money or maybe save them rather than putting the bitcoins they've got in a mixer.

Based on what is happening right now, I could say that it is good for the market. It is said that since we will be experiencing inflation, people are tending to put their money into assets or investments that will not be affected by it hence people are putting it into crypto currencies, usually bitcoin because of the effect of the pandemic to bitcoin is not that much.
540  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to make old people understand Bitcoin? on: October 13, 2020, 02:27:33 PM
for an old age to understand and to learn about bitcoin , for me, i think its easy to teach them than to not old cause of an old people can relax them and they can not work any physical working and bitcoin will no age limits to learn or to understand what bitcoin it is,old people can do learn a lot about bitcoin as long as  they can
Actually some old people doesn't gives interest to what bitcoin is. In my experience, they have difficulty to understand easily the true meaning of bitcoin. So we have to tell them in an easy way that they can easily get what’s the use of bitcoin. We have to show them using our gadgets and be patient since they can catch up on the process of how it works.

Why not just teach how to use bitcoin? Bitcoin is really hard for people to understand if you will explain it all to them, how much more to old people that we don't even have the patience to teach them how to use an android phone. I think it is enough for them to know how to use it and where they can use it instead of explaining the processes.
