541  Local / Regional Languages (India) / Re: हिन्दी दिवस की शुभकामनाएं!!! on: October 10, 2019, 05:18:53 PM
Don't you think we can consider hindi as main language? I am not in favar of mark it as universal language of india or force everyone to use but in india hindi is mainly used by the most of peoples in mostly all region and states of india.. for example if someone comes from punjab to bombay then he will use hindi not punjabi which is his main lauguage.. cuz if he use punjabi then 99% chance is that other person will not understand him... and same thing applys on, if anyone comes from southern part of india and go to punjab then he will use 99% hindi mostly with the mixture of little bit english.. so indirectly or directly everyone is connected with hindi and using daily...

Hindi is already known as the top official language used here with 139+ million people using it so it's possible to consider it the main language along with English. People from Chennai don't even understand Hindi and English so it's difficult to communicate with them. However when they come to Maharashtra, they have to speak in either two of these languages. Language barriers exist in the South, not much in the North. People who know Punjabi, Bhojpuri, Gujarati can easily understand Hindi so that's not a big issue compared with Tamil and Telugu speakers.

5 overs less today but not much would have happened in those 5 overs. Rabada took Rohit's wicket early so he couldn't even make 50. Looks like they'll be able to easily make 350-400 if Virat is still batting but if his wicket goes, they may settle for less than 400 runs. Still not bad considering SA's last performance. Just checked Saha's track record. He doesn't have a good SR (infact it's quite poor) and he's quite senior with little experience in ODIs and test matches. Why did they choose him to come in at 4th or 8th place is something I can't understand.

I can't see the chat group active now and it's not allowed to post messages in the chat group. I couldn't contact Silviu and Andy on telegram too regarding Refine Medium bounty so I contacted them on the website and got a reply so they are active but it's getting fishy to have closed down the chat group. Is bountyhive going to close down soon?
544  Other / Meta / Re: Necro-bumping to encourage members to return to a forum, on: October 08, 2019, 05:26:39 PM
Some forums send messages to user notifying them of any new updates to the forum or contests (in some cases wherein forums held contest) so even sending them updates would make them aware that the forum is constantly improving and making changes. Some users have mainly drifted away due to the rules that don't seem encouraging to some. Theymos keeps updating this section about updates so it would be good if users could be informed about them via pms. Anyways, these new updates comes once in 2-3 months so it won't be considered spam.

Come on buddy, you are still rolling  Cheesy, i have posted your exact response regarding the match below. I will never respond like i said if you never questioned the declaration and then claim that South Africa could easily chase the total on the final day. England was on a role that time as they have four players in their Test team who have a strike rate of above 100 in ODI, so they can make an attempt to chase the score and if Australia could pick wickets then they will never attempt to chase the score.

I am not expecting any changes in the Test series as India will win the series without much sweat  Cheesy.

^Oh you're right. I did say they'll easily win. Forgot to add "possibly win". Anyways, I like to lose these bets so I'll again bet on SA this time too.

SA does have batsmen with a SR of 85-95 and mostly they are young batsmen with less experience but if their wickets had not fallen so rapidly the last day, they could have given a tough fight. Disappointed with their performance as they did not even manage 200 on the last day despite doing well in the first innings.
546  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC.com - The most advanced cryptocurrency exchange on: October 08, 2019, 02:05:39 PM
^If people are using it, it's mainly because of the trading volume. Except Binance, Kucoin and Hitbtc, there are no more exchanges with active buyers for altcoins so these exchanges are being used despite the high trading and withdrawal fee. The only drawback of hitbtc is the enormous altcoin withdrawal fee that discourages you from withdrawing your own coins deposited on the exchange.
547  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger Nano X To The Moon Edition! on: October 08, 2019, 02:02:35 PM
This is true, officially Ledger says "Bluetooth pairing with a desktop is currently not available.", which means that this may change in the future. The main difference that is always emphasized is a much larger number of apps that can be installed at the same time, and this number is up to 100 on Nano X, which is reason enough for someone to invest money in this model and not in the Nano S.

Ledger will not improve Ledger Blue in a way you think, this is the final product and the only new thing we can see for this wallet is new firmware. It's been a while since Ledger says that they stop production of this wallet.

3D card is just an extra thing in packaging, why do you think it should have a special purpose?

Ledger Nano S is said to hold upto 20 apps but most can install 5 apps and not many use more than 10 apps. If a user uses 100 apps, then it's worth but I don't think one would need to use so many. I was thinking of buying Ledger Blue but this device also can't hold many apps just like Nano S and it seems they lost interest in this product as not many devices were sold. I feel the 3D card must be having some use else they wouldn't provide it. they did not mention its use.

If just for the number of apps they are charging double, they should provide a way for us to increase the space in our own device rather than creating a whole new one but it's just like they are just releasing old devices with enhanced features.
548  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Ledger Nano X To The Moon Edition! on: October 08, 2019, 07:30:52 AM
It cannot be connected via bluetooth to the laptop and needs the cable. I don't see much difference between this and Nano S except that it got one button and can be connected via bluetooth to the mobile. Screen looks slightly different and price is double. Instead they should improve their Ledger Blue as that's too heavy and not bluetooth enabled too.

What's the use of the 3D card?
549  Other / Politics & Society / Re: POPULATION on: October 07, 2019, 03:51:36 PM
It's choking especially when it takes 2 hours to travel 16 km away from home and in the evening it's miserable as it takes upto 4 hours. You can't be comfortable unless you're always at home.
550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: REQUEST FOR GAS FEE TO GET PAID ARE SCAM. on: October 07, 2019, 03:46:15 PM
Airdrops are a waste of time as mostly projects demand KYC details or end up paying few cents as tokens which cannot be even transferred anywhere as the gas charged is more than the worth of the tokens. I have seen projects charging GAS fee but they were genuine and not scam. I received few airdrops this year without even participating. I feel some are misusing my address to get paid.

552  Other / Off-topic / Re: Largest religion in 2050? on: October 07, 2019, 12:03:40 PM
Christianity will always be the biggest religion followed by Islam. There is a prediction that the later will be in majority but there's still a long way to go. 2.3 vs 1.8 billion is a huge difference today as well.
553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] PDATA - REVOLUTIONIZING BROKERAGE OF PERSONAL DATA on: October 07, 2019, 11:49:34 AM

This project does not have enough funds to implement IEO at a large exchange and that is the main reason why this project has very low value at this time. They tried to work with some other exchanges but failed and this made the value of Pdata more and more reduced. I appreciate the efforts of the development team but they cannot do anything else for investors and certainly in the near future this coin will be removed from this market soon.

Now is the time for you to sell and if there is not much new news then this is a project that will cost you more money so consider and make the right choice.

What kind of an advice is to sell tokens for $0.001 when the actual price was $0.1 ad imagine the investor who purchased these tokens at ICO price to sell tokens now. If he sells 10k tokens he bought for $1000, he would get $10. That would be a suicide.
554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: October 07, 2019, 11:38:18 AM

It was a funny banter when one of our member said that South Africa will easily chase the score of 390 runs on the final day, no team will chase a score of 280 runs on the final day in India that easily let alone 390 runs and hence i said i will shave my head if they are able to defeat India Cheesy. Surviving the final day to draw the match in India is a hard task let alone trying to chase the score.

I did not say easily win the match but rather there is a possibility they can win just like England won the test match with 9 wickets gone and SA already made 400+ runs in the first innings. It's not something impossible as I did not feel 400 runs would be enough but due to Jadeja and Shami, India managed to win by 203 runs. As you said in test matches it's tough to chase down so many runs on the last day, I now can believe that but I'm not still over WC's tragedy and Eng's last wicket win lol.

This is not the end so let's see what will happen in future matches Cheesy
555  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't become Bounty Hunter! on: October 06, 2019, 06:32:05 PM
Asking the manager/project team to pay your money = begging?

I can never agree with this statement. How can it be termed as begging when you ask for something you've worked for. Asking for free money is called begging and people who don't pay money to the ones who worked for their project, they are beggars and cheaters.

Not all bounty campaigns are scam and I recently got paid $800 from a campaign and $100 from the other. It may be considered a small amount but it's definitely worth the trouble. You just need to be sure the manager is not a newbie but a reputed one who cares for the participants and makes sure they get paid.
556  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why not use Exchange instead of Mixer? on: October 06, 2019, 06:26:01 PM
Mixers charge less fee when compared to depositing and withdrawing bitcoins from anonymous exchanges (binance has KYC) and you end up paying sending and receiving fee and plus there are some exchanges that use one wallet whose address can be easily tracked while mixers don't have any address that can link them to the address. When I receive ETH from exchanges, I can see the wallet having the name of the exchange and in BTC transactions, I can see most exchanges sending from the same wallet address to multiple people. Mixers also break down the transactions (sending it to more than one output) while I can't imaging sending such small amounts from an exchange paying enormous amounts as fee. I don't like mixers as for me it makes no sense in paying fee for anonymity but for others it does.
557  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can crypto Insurance be a next big thing? on: October 06, 2019, 06:18:37 PM
Exchanges don't have a long life so definitely the insurer would suffer huge loses as they won't be getting enough premium to even cover the damages caused by hacks and plus proving it is not an inside job is tough where crypto is concerned. I read about insurance companies charging 5% as premium and insuring upto $250000 but if the exchange gets hacked before 10 years, these companies will be in severe loss and exchanges are always at high risk. Insurance is good to have but when exchanges make sure they maintain high security and cannot be hacked easily while even a big exchange like Binance cannot claim they are secure while having a hot wallet.
558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] PDATA - REVOLUTIONIZING BROKERAGE OF PERSONAL DATA on: October 06, 2019, 01:35:28 PM

We are waiting for new exchanges, btw i participated in buyback program, i have received their payment, now i am waiting 3 months to receive my pdata token back.

Were you among the winners? They sent quite big amounts to the winners but 3 months waiting is just too much. It's November (as per their announcement) or probably next year if they delay. Their exchange confirmation is still in the air and no date is mentioned so assuming that's also next year.
559  Local / India / Re: Buy bitcoin from binance? on: October 06, 2019, 08:07:24 AM
Can you explain a little more on transaction?

Does it just say Simplex or something more?

Would appreciate a simple copy paste of the transaction detail if not too much to ask Smiley

Thank you

The member is referring to this website: https://www.simplex.com/

It lets you buy crypto from binance and other exchanges with credit cards so that even international members can buy crypto without any restrictionsbut I can see mainly credit card payments, not debit cards I guess.
560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: October 06, 2019, 07:54:29 AM
Jadeja and Shami finished the team. I really thought SA would manage to get the runs but never expected such a poor result and batting from them, a team who managed 400+ in the first innings. My prediction went wrong this time but so glad India are going to win this first test.

9th wicket gone and just 1 left. They won't reach even 200 now.
