541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] HOWL | Mobile Social Application | No ICO | AIRDROP Closed on: September 21, 2017, 04:16:39 PM
Congratulations to those who received their airdrop. I am still patiently waiting for mine. It might take a while before they finish this, it takes time to send tokens specially there are over 600 participants.
542  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you OK with Bitcoin being called a token? on: September 21, 2017, 04:07:37 PM
Isn't bitcoin a token technically? It is a reward given to the miners for maintaining, inserting blocks into the blockchain. But we can use it as a currency because we can buy things and services thru it. So, it does not matter if they call it token or coin. It is still bitcoin to us.
543  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Be ready for more rumors and fud from China on: September 21, 2017, 03:08:36 PM
Will it really happen again? They have already profited a lot from that fall.
I am thinking of whales doing this just so they could make a lot of profit. $1k up for every bitcoin they sold and then buying again at $2800. They really did it like it was nothing. It happened so fast that it was like scripted.

As long as there are still newbies who fall to their FUD attacks, it will still happen. It is a very profitable activity to the whales and to those who knows what they are doing during FUD. So next time you see FUD attacks you know what to do. It is either short or hodl and buy more when the price drops.
544  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin Prices Reach $5,000 Again Without China? on: September 21, 2017, 02:27:39 PM
with china or not i do believe bitcoin can reach even more than $5000 and from now on the price has been recovered above $3500 and slowly but sure eventually the price will hit again to $5000 or higher

Yes, this is for sure. No way bitcoin can be so dependent on China. There are a lot of bitcoiners outside China. Even when the FUD was happening, everytime there was a dump, the price is still pulled up. China can dump bitcoin and the world will gladly buy that bitcoin back.
545  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Better investement right now, bitcoins or Altcoins. on: September 21, 2017, 02:14:25 PM
A good altcoin with good developers, road map and actual uses that is still low in price is a good investment. This can yield better profit short term than bitcoin. But if you really want a sure thing, then you should stick with bitcoin. It never fails the old investors, it will not fail you.
546  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If China Bans Bitcoin Exchanges, will they also ban Bitcoin mining? on: September 21, 2017, 01:23:34 PM
I do not see anything wrong with mining or any reason why China will ban bitcoin. They also earn from it from sale of hardware to electricity. They are regulating bitcoin exchanges because of malpractices done by the exchanges.
547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I made $3.2M in Cryprto since 2010. Here are my top picks for coins under $1. on: September 20, 2017, 06:50:45 PM
All the coins he mentioned are shit coins to me but I will still bookmark this thread just to see how those coins perform in the future. Good luck to those who will follow this guy.
548  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin Still Go Up? on: September 20, 2017, 06:36:12 PM
Yes of course, I believe that it could be still go up. Why should you want to ask that kind of question if we all know the cycle of bitcoin everyday, every month or even every year, that the of bitcoin still going up and up. Last year of 2016 the price of bitcoin is about $1200 only but look how big is increase today its price was tripled right?
For now i don't think it could go higher , $4,000 is a fair price ,
$6,000 or $10,000 could be reached in the next year , so don't expect too much now ,
Just take an opportunity on the pump/dump games ,
As time goes by bitcoin should increased periodically i think.

It can still go up this year. What I noticed in the last two years is that bitcoin price always pump up at the end of the year starting at November. If it stands true this year, then we can still reach 6k above before the year ends. That is a very good price to end 2017.
549  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: effect of china on bitcoin on: September 20, 2017, 06:15:11 PM
Very bad for bitcoin but it does not mean it is the end of it. Bitcoin can recover even if China bans bitcoin. There are a lot of bitcoin holders, miners and traders outside of China. Japan is very supportive of cryptocurrency, it and other countries can uplift the lose from China.
550  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Bitcoin was centralized? on: September 20, 2017, 05:55:41 PM
Bitcoin economy will probably collapse because of lack of support. Bitcoin is based on the idea that it is decentralized and no one will have autonomy to control it. That is what we want from bitcoin. If it gets removed from the equation, a lot of people will dump their bitcoin and go to another crypto.
551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The future of Ethereum (ETH) on: September 20, 2017, 05:00:57 PM
we will see the day eth over bitcoin. eth can make many transaction than bitcoin, faster and low fee.

I also see that ETH have a bright future but I do not see it overtaking bitcoin. If the only reason you will give is fast and low transaction fee, then it should have beaten bitcoin long time ago along with other altcoins that have that characteristics.
552  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why hackers want to get paid/ransom in bitcoins? on: September 20, 2017, 04:29:02 PM
Maybe also because they can take it anywhere they want without the risk of being flagged by airport officers or risking having too much money on the bag. They can easily store, spend and launder it. No one tags someone who spends ten thousands of bitcoin but do that in dollars and you will be tagged by IRS.
553  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some government ban bitcoin? on: September 20, 2017, 04:23:22 PM
Because bitcoin is decentralized which is a complete opposite of how the government works, which is centralized. They cannot control bitcoin and
its uses. So they go to banning them. Though I think banning bitcoin is not an effective move because cannot really ban bitcoin. It is better if they just regulate it or the exchanges of bitcoin.
554  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is everybody dumping Bitcoin? on: September 20, 2017, 03:19:40 PM
Let the newbies dump their bitcoin during FUD. While they dump, you buy their bitcoins. I am in bitcoin for long term. I do not care if it dips once in a while because in the long run it will be pumped and reach new ATH.
555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] HOWL | Mobile Social Application | No ICO | AIRDROP on: September 20, 2017, 09:35:03 AM
Today Dev promised airdrop distribution will be done, but when I search through eterscan it seems this Token has not been created.
https://etherscan.io/search?q=HOWL

I don't think you should pre-judged him, he promised today let's wait and see what will happen, it is also possible he is using a different ticker for the token which is different from the one you searched for

There should be a smart contract by now, he is supposed to be distributing today. And I do not think he will be using another token name, so howl should be searchable.
556  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Stop New Trader from Panic Selling? on: September 20, 2017, 08:03:40 AM
We have a group in fb and everytime an FUD is actively spreading, we always remind them to hodl. Unfortunately, even with our excessive reminders, newbies will still dump because of fear. Fear works differently and we cannot control the newbies. They need experience to recognize FUD and avoid dumping.
557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the China FUD over ? on: September 20, 2017, 06:40:25 AM
It will never be over. They will just lay low, and then when the price recovers or reach a new ath, they will drop anyther bomb that will spread fear and panic to almost everyone. Instant profit. Rinse, repeat. That is how the Chinese are playing us.
558  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banksters officially declare war on Bitcoin! on: September 20, 2017, 05:45:37 AM
That is all they can do, attack bitcoin or call it fraud but they can never destroy it or make it stop. Bitcoin is the future and banks are like the dinosaurs they will soon stop existing because of bitcoin. You'll only hear them on history channel.
559  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin Prices Reach $5,000 Again Without China? on: September 19, 2017, 04:04:08 PM
It will take a lot of adjustments and maybe a long bear run but I am sure bitcoin can push forward even without the Chinese miners, traders and investors. There are a lot of bitcoiners coming from different countries around the world. They can cover the hole the Chinese will leave if ever this happens and soon it will back to road to 5K again.
560  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is neither a currency nor a store of value ! on: September 19, 2017, 03:00:39 PM
Do we really need a newbie account to tell us that bitcoin is a scam. And really, a pyramid scam? Do we recruit anyone to join bitcoin? This is a failed attempt to bring bitcoin down.
