I can't see any reason why there is a limitation on people outside of the US. Once its in an envelope and posted, why does it matter how many go out? If buyer pays post, buyer pays for item, buyer provides address, there is essentially no difference in selling 1 or 10 to overseas.

Hopefully someone else builds something similar and can post to Australia.

From personal experience, too much variation in shipping rates. Every time someone wants a bar, you have to get their mailing address, open up your courier's website, load the postage calculation tool, enter your address and their address, compare the available options, write up a message explaining the options, wait for a reply that may or may not come...

I've sent identically-sized packages to the same country several times before, and found that even shipping to a rural vs urban address can double the cost and triple the time.

At least if he's selling in multiples of 5, he'll cut down on the number of "just curious" shipping quotes.

Maybe try to get an Australian group buy on the go?

coin grading companies do not even factor in the stickers  Tongue

What do you mean?

Does ANACS not even consider the stickers when grading? They do mark them 'damaged' if they is redeemed

I've seen silver 1BTC coins with *terrible* lasered edges get MS67.

you're gonna get nowhere without escrow and a timestamped pic.

Just posting here because OP's account is still pretty fresh -- I can verify that I sold this coin to ktofu last spring, and extended the PGP chain of custody to him as well.

OP is a careful trader and we agreed on a very strict set of conditions (HD video of boxing/unboxing, etc) with our escrow before anything changed hands.

Are you still that stupid that you think i am woodcollector? You should add Singapore to your list as I am in Singapore now, having just attended the Bitcoin conference. So WC is in Vietnam, Illinois, North Carolina and now Singapore.

Actually just having a lel now. Keep your chewing gum in your suitcase!

PS, back to the actual topic of this thread, why is it ok Nubbins has still not removed his negative trust rating for UKCrypto even though he has proved beyond a doubt that he is not an alt of WoodCollector? Isn't this just more punitive punishment using the default trust system to punish people who dare disagree with him?

What are you, his dad? It's none of your fuckin concern. Mind your own business.

I hate it that the bitcoin community is taking this matter as more pressing than actual scammers and instead of trying to influence the world that bitcoin is a good economic resource.

I hate it that people think they know how I should spend my free time!

(twenty thousand dollars in 3 months isn't an actual scam?)

TECSHARE losing all the e-battles... Should level up with some more personality points first, and try again
554  Other / Meta / Re: REMOVE NUBBINS FROM THE DEFAULT TRUST LIST FOR REPEATED TRUST ABUSE on: January 28, 2015, 09:42:47 PM
To me, nubbins did an actual PSA, converting his free time to a public warning. Nubbins did the right thing. I think we need more people like him in this community.

I agree, but it seems the only person who doesn't is tecshare and WoodCollector's alts. Surprise surprise.

Aw, thanks, guys!

Rotten apples like WC ruin it for everyone. TECSHARE's chin-wagging doesn't affect me, because I know I did the right thing.

in the us. The mail is usually delivered during traditional working hours so most of the time no one will be home when mail is delivered. It makes having to sign for packages a huge pain.

If no one is home and no signature is required then they will generally leave it on your front porch or on top of your mailbox if you have a community mail box (like you have in apartment complexes).

If a signature is required then they make a limited number of attempts then will return the package to the sender.

...they don't just bring it to the nearest storefront location and leave you a pickup notice?!

Sorry for the OT post, genuinely curious here. I regularly miss deliveries, but I always can pick up the package at my leisure afterwards. Canada Post, UPS, Purolator, FedEx...
557  Economy / Reputation / Re: Videos of WoodCollector Hand Carving: Care of MOB on: January 28, 2015, 01:36:01 PM
I had 60 BTC of Casascius coins delivered to my house while I was on vacation in another province... What, you don't trust the mail Wink
if I had to guess this was when the price of Bitcoin was much lower then it is now.

The chances of theft from the mail are much higher when you are away because it is usually appearant that you are not home. Plus I imagine that the packages sent by WC are not going to fit in most mailboxes therefore it would potentially be sitting outside for several days (unless of course you have your butler take it inside when it arrives)

Around $100 iirc.

Wait, when a large package is delivered to your house and there's nobody home, they just LEAVE IT OUTSIDE?

 Shocked

What country do you live in? That's insane.
558  Other / Meta / Re: REMOVE NUBBINS FROM THE DEFAULT TRUST LIST FOR REPEATED TRUST ABUSE on: January 28, 2015, 01:19:14 PM
I see Nubbins has modified his attempt at intimidating me into silence to a neutral rating now ... This demonstrates without a doubt he is willing to abuse the trust system to win petty flame wars he started. He does not belong on the default trust list.

So now I'm to be removed from Default Trust because I changed my rating of you to a more accurate one?

Haha. Fuck you. Lock this thread, you embarass yourself.  Cheesy
559  Economy / Reputation / Re: Videos of WoodCollector Hand Carving: Care of MOB on: January 28, 2015, 01:11:18 PM
You are having a thousand dollar piece of art delivered to your house and you aren't even going to be home???

I had 60 BTC of Casascius coins delivered to my house while I was on vacation in another province... What, you don't trust the mail?  Wink

The decision to not admit the truth when confronted by Nubbins probably cost him 6 figures.   Sad but true.

Agreed on everything but the sad part.

according to nubbins there were but were afraid of being doxxed
IF this is true then it would be best if they did not out themselves.

Yuss.

obsessive compulsive trust farming
I don't like to make accusations based on speculation alone.

As far as I can tell, there's nothing there that really links Tecshare to Woodcollector other than the video and directory. It is very curious, but I haven't seen anything that would show WC is an alt of TECSHARE.

Agreed.
