This is something your going to have to bring up with the user in question or the people who hired him. This isn't a forum issue, and nothing will be done from a moderation point of view. You'll only "get back to them" by going through them. He's been online today, but hasn't posted publicly since April 19. So, in theory you could just message them, and find out what's happening that way.

Think You for the hint, i reviewed my chronology but I can't find anything suspicious... also, Google autofill shouldn't work on a phishing site....or not?
I think I login from the login button...because it seemed like I was logged out. I think I was not redirected, but I am not 100% sure
If it autofills your password and username then yes. It's just like you typing it in. The way phishing sites work is that they make their site look identical to their target site and only have a different url and database. When you log in they'll see what you've tried to log in with, and will then try and use it on the actual site. I didn't even know autofill was a thing on modern browsers, but I would recommend taking that off right away.
5403  Other / Meta / Re: Fake profiles joining old/closed bounties for some reason. on: May 13, 2018, 11:04:02 AM
I think pugman covered your first question without going into too much speculation.
Bots are easy to spot and banning it by keywords is the best solution.
False positive should be rare, however, i think unbanning those later isn't difficult (deserve it somehow especially if they are posting like a bot).

It's not just about false positives though. it's very easy for people to change their replies to avoid an automatic ban. For example, if you banned keywords such as "Great project", "Good luck" or "To the moon" then they would just change their answers to be "Great Projekt", "Goood luck" or "To the mooooooon".

let's be honest if you look at most bots they are likely people who are involved in the development side of the project. I've seen numerous high level accounts communicating back and forth just to bump a topic, as well as thousands of accounts registering just to bump the topic and never log in again. So, if they are having their replies deleted through a automated system they'll just change their replies ever so slightly.

They even do this now. The new trend is making your reply look big and constructive but, it's either copying multiple replies earlier in the thread or just repeating different ways to praise the thread.

Update: I've explained a little more via pm to Invoking about my stance on this. I'll give an example here more specific to the OP rather than giving a generic example with the "Good luck" sort of posts. My opinion on this is that automated bots bring up too many false positives. especially, in the case of applying for bounties in the above format. Again, they could just change the #join or any part of their application to game the system, but I think my previous explanation of this is enough, and I don't need to elaborate any more. Secondly, users who are legitimately applying for a bounty may well use the format that the bots use. We see this quite regular in signature campaign threads, that a user may copy and paste the above replies and fill in their own details. From time to time you see them forget or make a editing error and they've left it unedited.

This would be the case in my opinion which would bring up a lot of false positives. People copying the format of these bots, and getting punished for it. In my PM to Invoking I suggested a system which a bot only reports these automatically, and not hand out punishments. The moderator who reviews the report then can decide whether this is a bot or not. I think this would result in less false positives from happening, although it would likely increase the workload of a moderator by quite some bit.
5404  Other / Meta / Re: ICO thread needed on: May 13, 2018, 10:57:10 AM
This isn't really up to the moderators to make as scams aren't moderated, and it's up to them if they want to make a thread to review ICOs. Although,  If you want to make a thread outlining scam ICOs then be my guest, because as you said you've already found a few to be a scam. You'll be helping the community.
5405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is a good time to switch off from the crypto market on: May 13, 2018, 10:51:54 AM
Who are these people? Do you just blindly follow someone, because they have a youtube video? I guess in that case president Trump and Hilary are lizard people.

It's personal preference whether you want to take a break from Bitcoin, but I'm not sure why you would generalize this to everyone. I've taken breaks from work/Bitcoin and whatever else before.
5406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Comparison of buying a cup of coffee with crypto on: May 13, 2018, 10:50:26 AM
Bitcoin is not good for dayli things, and for ordinary people, so there is other coins, that are faster and more convenient, thats why developes working to make them

You are kind of right. Bitcoin was never designed with micro transactions in mind, although they have become a major thing with people starting to get into Bitcoin. Once Bitcoin is more popular and maybe mainstream that's when you'll see the denominators being used a lot more than they are right now. At the moment though, you are right in saying that daily purchases can be made by different coins, as long as they are accepted.
5407  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: the quantum computer will crack the btc private key and destroy Blockchain ? on: May 13, 2018, 10:48:04 AM
And when that happens I think it will break the bitcoin, but it will not happen, and I think it's not as easy as we think.
So, you think that something that can't happen will break Bitcoin? Your words and not mine. Anyone who doesn't understand quantum computers and how Bitcoin works will likely be a little concerned, but honestly the developers will be ready for when this becomes a issue, and encryption will get better due to it anyway. This isn't a realistic concern.
5408  Other / Meta / Re: Crypto related stuff in non altcoins board on: May 13, 2018, 10:46:13 AM
Most forum members join without understanding the working of the forum. If you check, the person who posted the topic had not read through the beginners thread to understand how to post and where to post. So such education is highly needed and I recommend that a new rule be put in place for all forum members to read the beginners thread before posting.

It's been suggested that when you register you will be presented with the rules, and will have to check a box to confirm you've read it. Yeah, most people will ignore it and just check the box, but if we can just add another layer it would be good. Hell, even if 1% actually read it then I think it's a success and better than what we have right now.
5409  Other / Meta / Re: Crypto related stuff in non altcoins board on: May 13, 2018, 07:50:51 AM
As a newbie here I also got confused the first time I got into those threads. Where are the moderators? This is there job right?
How about the rules? I guess rules must be implemented effectively if there's any. Newbies will get lost if these situations will be tolerated
Moderators can only deal with what they see. They are forum users just like you and me, and particulate in discussions and have a life outside of the forum. If a lot more people reported then we wouldn't see this as much. Guidelines have been implemented, and there's a whole topic made my mprep to outline these guidelines so newbies or any rank for that matter shouldn't get lost and cant claim ignorance when breaking any of these guidelines.
5410  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: the quantum computer will crack the btc private key and destroy Blockchain ? on: May 12, 2018, 10:34:23 PM
There's a simple answer to this. Before quantum computers are a thing Bitcoin will of undergone a hard fork which would change the current algorithm to a more suitable one. Consensus will be reached due to everyone involved in Bitcoin will want to secure their Bitcoin.

I'm almost certain that this will never really be a problem, and if it did become a issue then Bitcoin wouldn't be the only thing susceptible to abuse. Remember, that quantum computers only out perform most modern day computers slightly, although they would be exceptionally fast at certain tasks.

I hear a lot of people talking about this, but the truth is that this is not really a problem. There are several coins out there that should be safe against quantum computers. I know bitcoin is not one of them

Right, and how did you come to this conclusion? You do realize that Bitcoin has some of the leading minds behind it, and if quantum computers were to become an issue to the current algorithm then they would likely be the first ones to know, and prevent any issues. Most alternative coins these days are just copy and pasted versions of one another changing certain variables, and I for one question the technical knowledge of those behind the projects.
5411  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Comparison of buying a cup of coffee with crypto on: May 12, 2018, 10:01:22 PM
This is BS. $4 fees for 10 min transactions? This was in the past. With segwit adoption increasing and lightning network coming, this image is irrelevant. Also, speed is not everything. I'd prefer a slower coin than a coin that is significantly more centralized and cryptographically insecure.

It's taking it completely out of context. It's like comparing Bitcoin with a bank order which takes several days to clear. Bitcoin shouldn't really be compared to any payment methods used by fiat currencies. You can compare Bitcoin to Cash at a fundamental level if you want, but comparing it with payment processors/methods isn't something that should happen.
5412  Other / Meta / Re: Forum Word Clouds - Which words are most common in Topics on: May 12, 2018, 09:54:10 PM
I was hoping to construct a reply based on the words used in this section, but my creativity isn't good enough. Quite enjoy these statistics that you keep releasing though. The good thing about these word clouds is that I would expect most of these words to consist in their given sections. I guess that it shows that most of the topics/threads in each section are at least on topic somewhat.
5413  Other / Meta / Re: Fake profiles joining old/closed bounties for some reason. on: May 12, 2018, 09:51:54 PM
This might not be possible because of the integration of cloudfare with bitcointalk. I read somewhere stating that bots are not functioning properly or functioning at all so don't know what the current state is.

As long as theymos is made aware he should be able to white list certain bots. Of course, this depends on what the bots needs to access and do. A bot identifying applications for bounties would likely bring up false positives quite consistently though, and probably isn't the best way to go about it.
5414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Comparison of buying a cup of coffee with crypto on: May 11, 2018, 04:49:36 PM
It's not a fair comparison if you take one payment system when it's performing fine, and then pick the worst time of another payment system and compare the two. Both should be compared when both are operating at their "normal" rates.

Plus, it's up to the sender to include what ever fees they want. Fees aren't absolutely mandatory.
5415  Other / Meta / Re: Discussion in need: "Report to moderator" on: May 11, 2018, 04:05:14 PM
Like LoyceV stated I've also had conversations with different moderators on how to handle reporting a large amount of posts. I've come to the conclusion that it depends on the moderator as well as the type of post you are reporting. I know that when reporting bumps it's best to just report the earliest one in the thread and specify that there's multiple bumps in the same thread. If it's the same user posting the same nonsense then you can just report one of their posts and ask whoever is reviewing the report to take a look at their post history for similar posts.

Although, I won't mention the names of the moderators, because at the end of the day it's up to them if they want to specify how they would prefer to handle things. I report individual posts in long threads if they are posted by different people and know the moderator of that board prefers that all of the posts should be reported to make it easier for them.

Of course, it isn't always that the moderator of that board will be dealing with the reports, and the likes of hilariousandco and other global moderators/admins deal with it instead. But, after a while you get used to the timezones of these people and know when to report different. Hilariousandco probably sent you that message specifically because, it was all made by the same user.

The rule of thumb that I usually follow is if the same user is posting the same garbage just report one of their posts and note in the comment field that there's many more like it in their post history. Sometimes it's easier to identify situations such as posting "res" type posts in small threads you can just report one of them and let the moderators know in the comment field that there's more like it on the thread from different users.

In your example in the OP; It would likely be sufficient enough to report one of their posts and specify that there's many more like it in different boards. The moderator who deals with this can either act on it themselves if they have the permissions or leave it for someone who does have permissions to deal with all of their posts and whether any other action should be taken.

Just think of it this way; If you can make the person reviewing the reports life easier by specifying certain things such as taking a look at the users post history, do so instead of reporting all of them.
5416  Other / Meta / Re: Report to the moderator -Deserve some rewards on: May 09, 2018, 10:35:15 PM
That's wrong. When a posts/thread gets deleted, all reports of the post are marked as good.
I had a feeling this was the case, but just couldn't find any information on it when I searched it up. It's good to know though. I'm guessing that this would apply to nuked accounts too? Also, banned accounts without the users posts being deleted would likely be handled manually as the posts still exist if the above is true.
5417  Other / Meta / Re: Report to the moderator -Deserve some rewards on: May 09, 2018, 09:59:41 PM
Rewarding the report maybe (with merit) is very dangerous, knowing the nature of the human race some people could create 50 fake accounts to spam and report with the main account to "abuse".

Besides the abuse; This isn't what merit should be given for. Merit is for good quality posts, and shouldn't be rewarded for any other reason other than that. Personally, I don't think there needs to be a reward, and that shows in the stats. People are reporting (some in large quantities) and will continue to do so for a better forum.
5418  Other / Meta / Re: Report to the moderator -Deserve some rewards on: May 09, 2018, 09:12:40 PM
The list of top 50 reporters also mentions the number of unhandled posts.
This may not be due to paucity of moderators, but it will definitely increase if people are given incentives to start reporting posts.
True, but AFAIK that doesn't mean they aren't being looked at. It might just mean that the moderator was unable to determine whether the report was good or bad and left it. I imagine quite a few people aren't being very descriptive on why they are reporting a post.

I'm also going to go out on a whim here, and assume that posts which have been reported, but the thread is removed will be seen as unhandled. I might be wrong here.
5419  Other / Meta / Re: Report to the moderator -Deserve some rewards on: May 09, 2018, 08:35:31 PM
I've said this before, but I find reporting and seeing them get dealt with quite therapeutic. That's my reward, but I guess I'm weird like that.

What would happen if the spam moved from the various boards to the moderators' queues?
Already there are many reports which have not been handled.....

It would either get theymos' attention due to reports not being handled, and the more not getting handled signals the more in need of a moderator for that particular section/permission group or it would allow existing moderators to deal with them when they have time.

I'm not sure what sections you are reporting in, but most of my reports are dealt with within a few hours. I've had some take a few days but, they do get dealt with.
5420  Other / Meta / Re: Crypto related stuff in non altcoins board on: May 09, 2018, 08:12:49 PM
If the topic fits better elsewhere then it obviously belongs elsewhere. Anything concerning altcoins, airdrops and bounties should be moved to their respective boards on the altcoin section. I don't think clearer rules are needed as I believe mprep has already done a great job with listing all the rules. The problem is it's natural for people to sign up to the forum and see the description of a section and make their own mind up whether their topic fits or not. For example, newbies probably think Beginners and Help means they can ask questions which are considered easy to answer, but don't think about it being in the correct section. I would prefer if Beginners and Help was changed to "Bitcoin Beginners And Help" just like technical support was changed not long ago.
