I don't follow Spurs much, but why doesn't Lamela start for them more often? I remember a few seasons back he did well for them, and was a regular starter. Him, and Lucas were the only stand out Spurs players for me. Harry Kane was practically invisible. I think the scoreline flattered Spurs if anything. Yeah, they had the most possession, but they did nothing with it. Liverpool at least threatened most of the time. I think Mane, and Salah were a little too greedy at times today, and if they looked to pass it might of been a few more scores in Vorms net.
4742  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cloudbet's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: September 15, 2018, 11:30:37 AM

Really hard to say for me. It's away for Liverpool remember, but Spurs are still playing at Wembley so not exactly like it's their true home turf either but they did play there all last year obviously. Don't think I have the guts to back Liverpool so I'll probably stick with a draw as Spurs aren't going to be easy either for Liverpool.

Anyone think Palace will beat Huddersfield? Skybet's enhanced accumulator is Chelsea, Arsenal & Crystal Palace @ 7/1 which I usually put them on, but I'm not so sure about Palace away. I'll need to wait and see if Zaha is playing or not because if he isn't I don't think they'll win. More likely a draw probably.
Yeah its away, but I think if Liverpool can find the right gear they'll see away with Tottenham. I'm going with a very bold win for Liverpool. Tottenham will likely get goals themselves, but I've actually gone for a clean sheet for Liverpool.

I'm not sure. I think the Huddersfield, and Palace game will end up in a draw. Although, if Palace are going to win Zaha will be vital for them.

I remember Vorm was pretty decent at Swansea.
Vorm is a capable goalkeeper, and he did have a good run at Swansea. The general consensus of Spur fans is that they are dreading having him in goals. I'm not sure how age has affected him, and I haven't watched him recently so no comment. But, he used to be a fairly decent goalkeeper.
4743  Other / Meta / Re: Why was my YuTü.Co.in user account banned for 7 days? on: September 14, 2018, 10:27:21 PM
I don't know why you've been banned, because I don't have access to that information, and I wasn't the one that banned you obviously. But, moderators aren't required to give their reasoning to you. It's likely something you've done wrong, and as hilariousandco suggested that you've been warned about before. I doubt hilariousandco is pulling that out of his arse to spite you.

Wow, 5 posts one after the other!
Hey, he has been careful though. At least it wasn't the 10+ multi posts, and just the 5 this time!
4744  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cloudbet's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: September 14, 2018, 10:21:07 PM
We'll see...  I was only judging based on his past history.  And for the right price, the likes of Real and Barca can take their pick and get what they want.

I mean look at how ridiculously high City got Kyle Walker from them.  It was kinda worth it tho but how much years does he have ahead of him?  I think he's 28 - 29...  So prolly another 4 years at the club.  Not bad I guess, but still a little expensive for a right back.

Hasn't Kyle Walker also had a history of injuries? I'm not sure if he was worth that amount, but I guess he is since the prices have taken a massive hike recently.

Does anyone have the balls to back Watford to beat United? Anyone going for Liverpool to overpower Spurs at Wembley? I think both games will be close.
Liverpool win. Probably seeing their first game that they hit somewhat close to their top gear. Especially, since Spurs will be missing Lloris, and Alli. Watford vs United I think will end up being a bore draw. Probably quite a realistic prediction with Moaninho in chare Wink

^  Tottenham vs Liverpool could be too close.  It might end in a draw imho, even without Lloris and Alli.  Dunno...  It's just too hard to see who's gonna win.  Both clubs are solid, both managers are solid...

I think it all depends on whether Liverpool hit near their top gear, and how well Vorm performs, because for sure he's going to be peppered with shots if the front 3 of Liverpool are on form. Especially, with Kieta feeding them.
4745  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcoin and me (Hal Finney) - thread on: September 14, 2018, 10:17:45 PM
Yeah, I would be for a section which highlights some of the remarkable threads that have been posted here. There's quite a few. I think a cleaning of the thread, and prevention of more spam should be done before that though.
4746  Other / Meta / Re: Vote for new moderators who deserve it. @theymos please take a look. on: September 14, 2018, 10:12:58 PM
If the selection really happens, then Bitcoin Discussion and Altcoin Discussion boards would require more mods, and Economics section definitely needs a mod or two. These are the most annoyingly crowded boards on the forum which probably require a lot of attention and clean up. Other than that, Beginners & Help can use one more mod along with Flying Hellfish too.

We also need more people reporting in the Altcoin Discussion section. Most of my reports come from newbie posts in various different sections(patroller), and then the announcement, and tokens sections. The rest of the sub sections don't really have that many reports.
4747  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk.org YouTube channel? on: September 14, 2018, 10:09:43 PM
Tying into the courses idea with the youtube channel would be a decent idea. I don't know whether a summary of good quality posts would be that beneficial, and something people would watch. Maybe, I don't know. Latest news could be something to go by. What would of been cool is a changelog, and video diary of the development of the new forum software.

Anyway, another grand idea. Who's gong to run it though?
4748  Economy / Reputation / Re: What are the chances these are alts? on: September 12, 2018, 12:29:33 PM
Pennies? Some of them seem to be making hundreds of thousands if some of the other accusations are to be believed (I haven't looked into the amounts in much detail), but this sort of abuse is endemic. It's ICO campaigns fault for paying for such pointless rubbish. Paying people to tweet or post a Facebook status update are utterly useless when 99% of your friends or followers are fake or alts of your own. They don't give a shit though. Even if one real person see it and invests then that's money well spent for them. This is why this sort of abuse will never change because it costs ICOs little to nothing and they just need to desperately get their name out there as quickly as possible and they've got nothing to lose by trying this sort of spam advertising.
Honestly, I've never really stayed up to date with the bounties, and how much shares they are having, and what the price ended up being for each one. So, I'm a little bit ignorant to the true value behind them. I tend to only invest in things I actually think is worthwhile rather than quick rich schemes that are fueled by hype...and then crash with disappointment.

4749  Other / Meta / Re: Analysis - Ranked-up Users – Section/Subsection profile (& Local Boards) on: September 12, 2018, 12:27:10 PM
Sure, I've probably had posts that were merited and, are no longer available because the thread was trashed or something. I have noticed a few threads where someone has asked a fairly routine question, someone answered, and was merited for it, and then the post gets removed. I guess my original point was I don't think there's too much merit abuse going on with deleted replies. I was expecting a much higher percentage.
4750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cloudbet's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: September 12, 2018, 12:22:54 PM
Possibly. But, he hasn't got rid of the best players he has right now. Kane & Eriksen look to be staying for at least the next few years. Kane seems set on staying. I'm not sure if Spurs is the team that hes always supported? But, he seems pretty loyal.

Levy might be known as a seller, but Spurs have made some progress recently, and I think he's looking towards success rather than wheeling and dealing these days. At least that's what he should be doing.
4751  Other / Meta / Re: Which discussion board to visit to really learn about cryptocurrency? on: September 12, 2018, 12:19:45 PM
I would have to agree with mu_enrico I think. There's better alternatives for specific answers, and this forum acts as a discussion point for those who already have a fair amount of knowledge about the subject. Of course, the forum isn't limited to that, and there's questions asked every day. But, this information might be a little more difficult to find on here than Stackexchange for example.
4752  Other / Meta / Re: What would happen if I changed my name? on: September 12, 2018, 12:17:19 PM
I've been doing a bit of research, and I've found out that somebody is starting a "JetCash" crypto. They are using the .org domain name. This is not associated with me, and I have no knowledge of the site, the operators or the possible coin. I would suggest that anyone considering using, or investing in the coin should approach it with extreme caution. Any organisation that tries to capitalise on my name must be suspect.

They will be aware of me, as anyone registering a name should look at the .com first before registering and alternative TLD.

Probably are. I'm surprised we don't see more of this sort of thing. People using other reputable members names, and knocking out their scam coin. They've tried everything else, and its only a matter of time. I haven't done any research into the matter, but I'm sure some have used theymos' name Cheesy
4753  Other / Meta / Re: Analysis - Ranked-up Users – Section/Subsection profile (& Local Boards) on: September 12, 2018, 07:47:42 AM
31% (rounded up) of users have received 1 merit on a deleted post? I don't think that's too bad honestly. Do you have any idea how many of these deleted replies were in self moderated threads? I think that could be an interesting stat. Also, considering the amount of merit which gets rewarded in Altcoin announcement threads this could be exaggerated, and doesn't really mean there's much abuse at all. A few replies in altcoin announcement threads get merit. Sometimes when calling out the project, and later on the thread might be trashed because they were offering an incentive to post. It quite often happens with the scam projects.
4754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cloudbet's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: September 12, 2018, 07:32:35 AM
I'm pretty sure that all the spending done on the stadium shouldn't affect the club's spending on transfers.  I mean the Spurs board should already have figured all the spending needed even before any spending has been done, right?
Probably. Spurs have a young squad that can be developed though. They also have some promising youngsters that they could potentially look to integrate.

Of course, Liverpool is who I dream of getting what they deserve but for the love of football, let's have a season to remember!
They've had a slow start to the season to their standards, but they are still picking up points. Now that Swansea has left the Premier league, I think I'm supporting Liverpool to go on, and win it.
4755  Other / Archival / Re: Alternative solutions by community instead of pushing theymos. on: September 12, 2018, 07:26:52 AM
Theymos has already acknowledge most of these things, and he isn't completely against most of them. He's likely been considering changes for a while, but doesn't want to rush implementing something if there's better options or maybe its just a lack of time?

Anyway, I'm sure you've seen this, but for anyone that hasn't take a look at theymos' response.

4756  Economy / Reputation / Re: Collecting team from forum for launch new ICO. on: September 12, 2018, 07:23:53 AM
Seems like English isn't their first language, and it isn't clear what they mean by "team members". Sounds like they have a concept planned, but they are looking for developers to make it happen as well as those who could promote the coin. Promising to pay in tokens that don't even exist yet...
4757  Economy / Reputation / Re: Wtf who did this? on: September 12, 2018, 07:21:10 AM
Fcking bs !!
Can i block this mf ?
I dont like bs

Yeah, sure you can block him. Like SFR10 said though. It's not going to make a blind bit of difference to your trust score. The thing is a lot of people here don't like services which spam. They consider it untrustworthy, and Vod is perfectly within his rights to leave any feedback he desires.
4758  Economy / Reputation / Re: Plagiarism? on: September 12, 2018, 07:18:31 AM
I think a lot of the ICOs are using either the same designers or generation services for their logos. Perhaps these ICOs are run by the same people, and therefore they are using the same designers? I wouldn't put it past them. I don't think this is a plagiarism issue per day. However, it probably shows laziness for the team involved.
4759  Economy / Reputation / Re: More farming to look into on: September 12, 2018, 07:14:19 AM
Why is it that you can guess the kind of content being posted by the username of most accounts these days? When I see two random words like this combined I almost always assume they are going to be spammers.

I think most of the forum agrees that signatures need to be removed on lower ranks though.
4760  Economy / Reputation / Re: What are the chances these are alts? on: September 12, 2018, 07:13:10 AM
Absolutely unreal the lengths some people are willing to go to earn a few pennies. Great job everyone on finding the connected accounts, especially @Veleor

How you guys finding this much number of alts,I am too interested in busting some of the alts but I don't know how to do this,is there any guide to find the connection between the bitcointalk accounts? If yes please redirect me there! Willing to do some contribution to this forum. Smiley

Most of the work needs to be done manually. Just do manual searches through the forum for addresses etc. Take a look at the data presented by Veleor, and do that yourself. Always good to have more users taking down these "call center" alt rings.
