Didn't I hear about an automatic account recovery system being implemented at some point? I'm assuming the backlog of current accounts would still need manual recovery.
Theymos said it should be hopefully ready by the end of the year, but there's no guarantees. I also don't know what those who can't sign a message are going to do, or can sign one but from an eth address or whatever. Ah there you go then! Keeping up to date with only a phone has been difficult so I'll have a lot to catch up on in 9 days. I imagine it's like I said and will still require manual recovery.

Yeah, the penalty is a typical one to concede. Lovren played incredible. However, I always feel he has a mistake in him even when he's playing like a boss.
I have been keeping an eye on Lovren career from his beginnings (we are both from Croatia). He gets quite a lot of space in our sports newspapers, so I read short reports of his games even when I am not watching the particular game. By far the best quote which perfectly captures his performances is: "Lovren is often the best man on pitch, until he isn't". I believe it was said by some Liverpool legend, probably Jamie Carragher. Probably accurate. He can dominate games when hes on his game, but then he has the habit of making a pretty bad mistake, and then running himself into the ground. I'm not 100% familiar with Lovrens story, but I do remember him having quite a heartbreaking one, and he also had his house broken into in Liverpool.

Liverpool with their blitz tactics within the first few moments of the game could of really punished City. City seemed to be in dire straights, and couldn't even get out of their half without giving up possession. However, there wasn't any shots on target at this point so City could probably be happy with their defense which has proven to be shaky in the past against Liverpool. Mahrez penalty was a shocker. Having said that Alison seemed to dive the right way at least.
Exactly. Liverpool almost did the job in the first 15 minutes, but for a lack of penetration to keeper. And Alison had his glove in the right place too... though the venom on the shot, had it been on target, would probably have still guided the ball in. We were lucky, and this kind of luck will get us through. Can't help feeling a bit bummed. Draw was a wonderful result, for sure, but this was Anfield. We'll need to smack them full force away. I think VD was good, everybody makes those mistakes, he was literally an inch away from a brilliant tackle. And is Lovren a changed man or what? Pity he wasn't half as incredible when we lost to Chelsea. That's why I'm really not to concerned about Liverpool in the title race so far. They are joint top when their front 3 haven't even been firing, and on form. As soon as they start linking up like last season, but actually putting away their chances we could see Liverpool not only win most of their games, but rack up that goal difference too. Yeah, the penalty is a typical one to concede. Lovren played incredible. However, I always feel he has a mistake in him even when he's playing like a boss.

Yeah, generally when I go through a thread, and delete hundreds sometimes even 1000+ they are offering an incentive somewhere. Mostly on their social medias. Discord, Twitter, and their google form signups are the most common.

Nope. We don't have access to anything like that. Maybe, global moderators do, and above. I don't know. At least right now the bots are lazy, and literally just copy, and paste, and if you've been reading that section for a little while you can normally spot them pretty quickly.

Just saying I've reported a staff member before, and I believe it got moved all the same. Don't let rank get in the way of reporting. Report what you think is infringing the rules. If it is it will get dealt with regardless of the rank of the member posting it. Sometimes even staff members might post in the wrong board without realizing etc.

Is there anyway to identify the list of people who have reported most? Because those kind of people were deserved to be mods.
I too already voted for the five persons but still much people not interested in adding the new mods since we have very less votes on the pools.
Not until theymos releases that information to the public which he does seem to do now, and again. Having the most reports isn't the only factor to consider though. Timezones, and the quality of your reports matter too.

Certainly mistakes happen. I haven't checked the ops link to see if it shouldn't have been deleted, but even if it shouldn't have been mistakes happen all the time.
I think before I became a moderator I had a mod message me for deleting one of my posts a few years ago, and other people have hinted at this too.

Yes, your post appears quite clever in retrospect. However, you have to understand that the mods are probably getting hundreds maybe thousands of reports per day. If they came across one and it had one word, I could see them not taking the time to investigate the link and how it justifies the post. Try not to take it too personally.
I'm not sure who deleted the posts, but I can vouch for this at least. I've woken up to more than 1000 reports, and I only moderate a few sections, and newbies. Global moderators must have thousands, upon thousands of reports.

Yeah, I notieed already 3 players dropped out since the last round, ensuring I'm not bottom with wooden spoon. It looks like 4 now, including Welsh.
@Welsh, it appears you're also one of the players not making predictions. Are you sure you put them in?
Yeah, looks like my No script is playing up. It tells me its "saved", but isn't working. I did these predictions a while ago, and didn't check. I'll use my laptop from now on to get these predictions done.

Who is it that can ban jr. members and up? Staff and global moderators, or can a section-specific moderator ban people found reported for violations in his/her section?
With the new Jr member merit requirement a lot of newbies have more than 28 activity. Any of them with more than 28 activity cannot be nuked currently. Therefore, only Global moderators, and higher can ban them.

^ Huh? It's too early to tell who will win the league. Lol. Even if City wins this Sunday, you really couldn't discount LFC. Chelsea is obv doing really well too.
And I don't think City will be as dominant as they were last season.
Yeah, I know its early days. But, we know that Man city don't usually drop points against the lesser sides, and last year just ran away with the league. Whenever possible points need to be taken from City. I think Liverpool has to get at least a point today. It wouldn't be very good for morale if they don't manage at least that. Yeah, Chelsea are doing well. I think it'll be between Chelsea, Man City at the end of the season. I'm still undecided whether Liverpool can do it. On a side note, my bets are doing pretty well at the moment. At half time just need CP to win, and the rest of the games to remain the same.

Absolutely! I remember 2 or 3 seasons ago when Liverpool's problems were really how they couldn't break down less illustrious problems. But at least since Rodgers, they can play so well against the big 4 (now the big 6?). And this hasn't changed, I remember all the past 4 games last season against City, and yes, they whipped us good after we lost Mane to the red card - that itself a worry for me, we lose Salah early on and lose to Real, we lose Keita early and lose to Napoli, these sudden losses seem to throw the Reds off balance for the rest of the game) - but we whip back really good when we get in shape. I think the Napoli loss came as a good time. I know that might sound strange, but Liverpool got a good result against PSG, and probably something unexpected. Of course, a draw would of been much better than a loss to Napoli to keep the upper foot in the group, however can you remember what happened when Liverpool lost to Tottenham convincingly last year? They bounced back, and performed out of their minds. I'm hoping the loss to Chelsea, draw, and then loss to Napoli fuels them up, and they can dump Man city out of the race. I'm sick, and tired of seeing City win the league now :p

Don't get me wrong. I think United will win. But, I don't think its going to be easy for them. I've included a United win on my accumulator. I tend to have different results on my actual betting than this little pool though. I tend to go for more of a gamble here in an attempt to pick up points other people aren't. (its not working)

United will struggle against Newcastle I think. However, they should win, and I have gone for a United win. But, I wouldn't be surprised if they did end up drawing or even losing with the current shit show that's going on over there. I think Mou will be given until christmas (probably). I wouldn't trust the mirror personally.

It really depends on the individual case for me. I'll delete it if its of low content, and if its particularly a problem I'll message the users involved. If they ignore that or is unbearable I might ignore it so that a higher up member of staff can take a look at it, and decide whether its ban worthy or not. I know this doesn't answer your question, but I guess you sort of see my take on things when I receive reports like this. I get a lot of these types of reports!

We are all watching City beat Liverpool of course!
I think you are forgetting that Liverpool almost always up their games against City! Alright, I'll admit it that Liverpool really need to start clicking today if they want to beat City otherwise city has the potential to just run away with the game. I'm hoping Liverpool click. They had a very good start of the season with getting results even when they aren't playing at their best. However, its time for them now to start clicking, and throw all the pre season rustiness off.

I was wondering do any Mods deal with Meta at all. I say this because the odd time I report a multiposter, usually giving them the chance to correct it themselves. If they don't these sometimes just get added to the unhandled section. I don't really care about the stats; just wondering if I should bother reporting these in Meta
If its a newbie post then patrollers will get it. Otherwise, global moderators are the ones to deal with Meta reports as there's no dedicated moderator. Its the same for all other sections without a dedicated moderator.
