I guess yours and mine make six  Sorry, got excited! The /hyperfool.com/ subfolder isn't in the google cache from the 21st either. I don't understand the significance of this. Is this just a strange picture that TECSHARE uploaded, or is it somehow connected to WC? TECSHARE owns the rezdesign.com domain; he's hosting files for himself as well as woodcollector on that domain. If TecShare were WC or had a deeper connection wouldn't that folder have existed prior?
Not necessarily. WoodCollector hasn't needed a place to upload videos until now. The fact that TECSHARE sold/gave WC a domain AND hosting space in the middle of this whole fiasco, to me, indicates that their relationship is more than casual. |

But why would WC buy a domain for the sole purpose of hosting a "fuck nubbins" video on it? If you go to hyperfool.com it is just an advertisement (as in there is no actual content on the /index.html page). He eventually uploaded it to YouTube anyway, so I don't see the point in uploading it first to a parked domain and then to YouTube

After having some time to reflect, I agree with others in that my negative trust rating of TECSHARE was inappropriate. I have replaced it with neutral feedback that relates the situation in a less undiplomatic manner.

Does anyone know who the people he was buying wood from on here? He claimed to be able to get any wood in the world but seems a bit weird how he decided to join a bitcoin forum to buy more. I wonder if this was just a ploy to introduce his business?
Almost certainly. His reddit account, http://reddit.com/u/TheWoodCollector, (" Dont make me go homophobic on you")is full of similar boastful stories in /r/turning (but not /r/woodcarving) about the types of wood he can get, and the money he makes. In order to sell people something "special", you have to first make them think it's special. EDIT: I think Paul Revere chatted with him about selling wood before this all happened, but it didn't pan out? He probably was just giving the impression of buying good wood to add legitimacy. I doubt anyone here on the forums sold him a single piece. |

Well, my concern is that I outed a scammer who milked twenty thousand dollars out of this place since Guy Fawke's Night, and in return I get a bunch of socks PMing me photographs of the outside of my house and TECSHARE the bully starting one of his vendetta campaigns. I suppose that's all okay, though, because I'm the big bad neg-rate monster who didn't consider everyone's feelings! Christ, you people.  |

Here's a detail of that watermark:  As you can see, there's "d", "e", and part of a "p". I wonder what logo that is? Oh, it's the Deposit Photos logo. Now where have I seen that logo before? Oh, right, all over this image:  Which WoodCollector is burning into a piece of wood here, as of yesterday: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=935930.msg10260178#msg10260178 So, he admitted to using one stolen image (the lion?) and was just caught using another (the hand), and we found sources for all the rest of the images on the same stock photo website, but he totally has licenses for everything, he swears! He can even provide the receipt from his email! |
