581  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Addiction Stories! on: July 22, 2018, 09:04:21 AM
People who made the right choice to stay away from gambling are those people who wanted a change in their lives and yes its not easy to do it because you will get out something from your system but for as long as your faith is strong and you are motivated to do what is right I think you will win the battle. Everything is all in our mind if you can control your mind then you will make it, others who do not do it successful are the quitters and its sad to say that they are many of them.
I can't but agree with that. It is always a huge decision to take for someone who is actually tending towards the addictive level in most cases, since it is gradually beginning to get very intense. But those who are all realizing it in the beginning stages, may get chances to come out of it. But others do get suffer severely.

With what you said in the last few sentences, the thing is about being in control and telling yourself you really want to do this, which if you end up doing so, would be a great deal not just to you but others around you. The zeal to want to do the good thing is what would always pull anyone through.
582  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: July 22, 2018, 08:34:08 AM
Rondo is the out of place guy compared to others.

Mcgee is not a smart player but he has height and can be a good defender if he tries yet he is a funny guy and mostly known for his moves on Shaqtin a fool. We know Lance from his weird moves and weird personality as well he is a different person.
Beasley has been made a joke like he is doing silly stuff and always high and so forth.

Yet, Rondo is not like that, he is a smart player, he is an angry player for sure but he is a smart player, he memorizes everything about every team and every player and works on that. Rondo and Lebron can be great.

Also lets not forget that Lakers still have Lonzo, Kuzma, Ingram and Hart as their young core, they can improve to a great teammates for Lebron.
583  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Frustrations: Losing Streak on: July 21, 2018, 04:01:47 PM
I'll stop betting and take a break for a while. Listen to some music or watch movie. I would keep myself busy with other things and that will help to forget about the loss.  I won't come back for few days. First thing I do when i get back is to change my seed and client seed. After that I'll fresh start with a different strategy.

You can always change the seed immediately and continue playing. I don't believe that there are unlucky seeds. You could even have higher chance of success with the old seed because it has the history of a streak and it has to come to an end. Usually there are no totally lucky or unlucky players. The system is made to balance itself and after a losing streak comes a winning streak.
Changing the seed is never a guarantee when it comes to long streak of losses.
Although, I have heard some people say it has worked for them anyway. Everything is just based on luck and the best than trying to want to kick further is to just accept the losses and move on.

The reason why I have never been a good fan of online casinos is as a result of the whole not believing in the provabial fair thing. If the system has tagged your account for that day, it will be a sorry case. So better to just stay away and go do other things for the rest of that day or even week if possible.
584  Economy / Economics / Re: Tax on the crypto currency! What do you think? on: July 21, 2018, 02:50:04 PM
For me i think those taxe models are good to me. As long as the government wont make it big. Taxes help our country economy if you help your country you help your family friend and you. Because all of the taxes will return to us. So why not taxe
I really doubt why people won't understand that, knowing taxes will give help into the community improvement and additional income in our government. But we can't deny also, some authorities doing abusive way of collecting taxes from the people which could make them angry and don't wanting it happen in crypto.
The abuse of taxation through policies by the government is what really scares a lot of people and you would not blame them. Sometimes, tax laws and policies can be deliberately and outrageously placed by the government which to me would sound more like a means to just want to frustrate the community as a whole.

If governments all over the world can simply be lenient with the whole taxation system, it would bring about growth not just in the crypto world but also in the general economy. Some developed countries are in preparation of removing taxation on individual's income as they are making more money from other sources like golf countries. In that case becomes a success then it might open new things for cryptos too.
585  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you track what happens in Crypto industry daily? on: July 21, 2018, 10:04:09 AM
It is something that is very crucial to discuss, as there are far too many people who have no proper way with how they trade, which eventually leads to MAJOR problem and losses. So, how exactly do you track the daily happening in this enormous Cryptocurrency industry?
Honestly I do not need to track all the happening around cryptocurrency world. I have invested only into few ICOs and coins hence I just need to follow only them. If there will be any new opportunities then this forum and few of friends will let me aware of them. Along these I am just following few legends in some social media, hopefully they will cover me all important aspects and movements of entire crypto world.

I am afraid that OP just started this topic for the intention of promoting some news services to this community. If not, I believe this must be another discussion to make some awareness among crypto users.
586  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC: where is the market going on: July 21, 2018, 08:36:20 AM
This is WRONG I believe that we will have a breakout. I thought so because I saw one of my friends post the pie which is telling us that we will have a breakout.
Some investors keep harvesting BTC for the time being that can't be helped. Not all basis are in charts the last chart of BTC was going to the moon a pinpoint chart that is like a needle reaching the sky and the chart analysis was lost and other experienced speculators was lost for words even though they have th charts they were not ready for the pinlike chart in BTC.
So far so good, it simply does not look like there is the possibility of that very soon unless we just get to see a downtrend reversal. But, as per my analysis, I am not seeing any possibilities for that to happen. Yes, the market is all set to remain positive in coming days too.

As far as I know, this market still have more room to go further upward even though no one knows how far it would go. When the trend reverses fully though, I guess we will have to see it but that would be seeing bitcoin hit past $10k which in that case would be forming some higher high but for now, nothing serious yet.
587  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 10 Mistakes you should never do in crypto trading✌✌ on: July 20, 2018, 07:03:30 PM
Though this are all common ideas that must every users has, still youre too generous to post this here to help newbies or even old timer to have another set of knowledge for not to become another noob that might loss capital because of denying this reasons.keep it up mate and i believe this helpful tips might help many new comers ,i will bookmarked this for future sharing
Yeah, they are really some very good tips that a trader needs, but not everything needed by a trader. The only reason this tip can be effective is for a trader who has been able to learn enough but still making some silly mistakes due to some of the attributes mentioned by the OP.

Most times, a lot of new traders are so keen trying to play smart on the market and even forcing indicators to dance to their tune without allowing trades to develop. All these things matter a lot when it comes to trading. Mistakes may happen here and there in trading. That is not a big sin. But, repeating the same mistake again and again must be a big sin in trading always.
588  Economy / Exchanges / Re: yobit or hitbtc on: July 20, 2018, 06:22:48 PM
I've heard a lot of negative reviews regarding yobit and hitbtc.  Just take a look through the scam accusations board.  Scroll through the past pages and you will see many accusations against Yobit.  They constantly have problems with holding funds and not letting you withdraw.  Hitbtc is known to have the same problem with the added bonus of having ridiculous withdraw fees.
They have both been considered or classified as a 'stay away from' kind of exchanges by the whole community due to the bad record they have had over the years and I wonder why a lot of members in the community even despite this whole knowledge still make use of them anyway.

They will always have problems and sometimes I even feel it is on purpose just to steal from the users anyway since there is no customer support to report to and every individual is at the mercy of just being lucky having their transaction go through.
589  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Future of Economy! on: July 20, 2018, 05:42:59 PM
I think bitcoin is useful specially in an economy specially in developing countries.
Yes, it is definitely going to be useful, but how many people are actually seeing that usefulness and how many people are really not investing in bitcoin today because all they care about is to get rich and not because they want to invest for the future knowing what they stand to gain from bitcoin usage at the end.

The demand we had last year was a fake demand which is what I like to call it, and what is happening right now is imminent, as the market was meant to behave this way after a FOMO speculated price.
590  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin value on: July 20, 2018, 04:27:40 PM
first thing is, bitcoin is slow in transaction speed, because it is not just the speed, but the security.

second, consumes a lot of energy because of the network traffic per transactions.

third, it is banned because of some reasons in each country, some of them are just afraid to lost their country wealth by investing in crypto currency and to be pollute of some illegal activity to be exist when they adot this crypto currency.

and last, price manipulation, whales are the kind of investors who owned a large amount of coins in each project, therefore at their current influence (have wealth) they can takeover/manipulate the price on what ever they want, it is really happen in all crypto currency and not just in bitcoin.
It is even always funny how people get to criticize bitcoin transaction speed every single time and trying to compare it with another coin that is not being used on a large scale. Considering the number of transaction that is going on every single day on bitcoin network, I wonder if we get to see some of these other coins being used that way, we may not end up starting to see some lapses thereabout.

Taking a look at how Ethereum played out during the crypto-kitten saga is enough to let everyone understand this is a gradual process but does not mean we aren't progressing.
591  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Price < $3000 soon on: July 20, 2018, 03:17:49 PM
Today is 20th of July. This person wrote it on march saying soon it will be less than 3000 dollars. Well I am checking the historical data and ever since he said that bitcoin never went under 5k levels.

I think this should be a lesson to everyone. If someone trying to tell you what the price will be in the future do not trust them. No one can know if and when it will go down. Going up is again a bit logical because we know that bitcoin is valuable and it will go up but we will never know how much it will go up and when it will go up for that neither.

We just know it will go up, we have no other details, we also know that it may go down a bit but we don't know how much and we know that in the end it will go back up. Those are all the information we can guess, aside from that no one like this dude can give you numbers and timing.
592  Economy / Speculation / Re: The end of worlcup 2018. BTC will be down to $ 2k. on: July 20, 2018, 02:45:43 PM
Lol everyone busting the nuts of the original poster. There was TON OF people here who agreed with the OP, don't just focus on the author because he wasn't alone, a lot of people who were afraid they will lose money on bitcoin decided to sell their coins and told everyone the bad scary story of how bitcoin will go down.

That is the common place for all the people who think bitcoin will go down, they don't have any.
593  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the new strategy? on: July 19, 2018, 12:05:26 PM
Investors now get their tokens before bounty hunters. They are also allowed to start trading before bounty hunters get their rewards.
I believe this will prevent the investors from complaining and blaming the dump in price on bounty hunters.
I think it is quite old practice and have seen such projects also during early 2017. Bounty hunters get their tokens for free while investors have bought them for real fiat so investors should be given opportunity to trade it first but when they will know that bounty hunters gonna come soon to dump their tokens, ICO investors will just keep the price lower by setting big buy orders at near or less than ICO price to get cheap coins from bounty hunters before driving the price up like crazy.
Well, that actually explains it one way or the other. It is more like the whales trying to rip off the weak hands from the market anyway and like you said, that makes the bounty hunters who want to dump their tokens anyway to end up selling to them at the bottom when they have totally driven the price down pretty well.

Apparently, we should just say it is a way that the bigger investors have been able to find to deal with the weak bounty hunters who are always fond of dumping. At the same time, when an ICO and its project developments are promising and progressing as per roadmap, then no one will rush for dumping out.
594  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do bite more than you can chew on: July 19, 2018, 08:16:14 AM
The fact that people want to earn more money, this is not surprising. If they take jobs more than they can afford to finish, they can always adjust their workload, I do not see anything wrong with that. Everyone has his own problems and his life circumstances. Of course, a large amount of work should not be at the expense of its quality. If the quality of messages remains good, then this is permissible.
I often see couple of people here, who after applying and accepted to participate in a bounty campaign, but never got to perform their tasks. That must be a clear case of biting more than they can afford to chew, because obviously they need the money, but they lack the time!
Simply just like the OP said, I guess they must have bitten more than they can chew! A lot of people do not understand in life the fact of, it is better for you to concentrate on the quality ones and get the best from it, than just pack a whole lot than you can handle and at the same time still get so little from them.

I do not understand how some people think when it comes to making the best use of their time and resources anyway, but I guess probably the way they see things. Trading is much easier compared to investing all we have into altcoins. I never agree on this. We must risk only some 10% to 25% of our total saving. This is based on only that much percentage of saving is affordable for anyone on the event of losses.
595  Economy / Economics / Re: Is wallet security important to use? on: July 18, 2018, 12:41:15 PM
I think purse purse is necessary. Nowadays, hackers are stalking us, probably losing money at any time, so focus on this do not visit bad sites. So you are vulnerable to hacker attacks.
It is more like someone building a castle without a fence and some necessary security around to be able to wade off any attacker. The higher the security, the more it is difficult for an intruder to penetrate, which in this case are the hackers and for those who feel there is no need for security, I guess they will have to wait for the fateful day when they will realize that security is not as expensive and hard to do than losing your funds to some bunch of hackers.

Use of a wallet may differ per individual hence we cannot have a common opinion on wallet security under usage of a wallet. But security must be a basic criteria while choosing the wallet, based on this we may assume how important this aspect is.
596  Economy / Economics / Re: Predictions Markets? on: July 17, 2018, 05:14:21 PM
Does anyone here use prediction markets?
Or have experience building one?

Augur has gone down hill, so I set one up myself:
NINJA
Link: https://ninja.org/

How did you manage to set one up for yourself, I don’t understand. Do you mean you now predict the price of bitcoin or what? 🤔 and by the way I don’t rely on these prediction markets,  they don’t work. The ones I have been seeing are not really accurate, though a really bit, but not fully accurate. Just take for example, they predicted that the price of BTC will go up in August to 15k, but that wasn’t what happened exactly… rather the price got to 9k.
No one should ever rely on a prediction market as they always end up false and those who ended up true just got lucky. This is not a market where you will be gambling positions the way you want as there is so much about trading a market and making investment decisions than playing prediction game like it is some dice or something. No one knows how far or how low a market will be going, but one thing for sure is that, it would never go up forever, neither will it go down forever and we only have trend to guide us.
597  Economy / Economics / Re: stupidity is so close to poverty on: July 17, 2018, 04:23:42 PM
stupidity is so close to poverty, do you agree with such a phrase?
if it yes, means the poor are the fools.
I want to know your opinion.  Grin Grin
Not exactly. Poor people aren't fools. But the rich or the medium class people are. I mean think about it, these people are the ones who wants more and more money. The poor people just want a decent life, eat three meals a day etc. Whatever they earn, they spend on their family and basic needs.

People aren't poor by choice in all times, they are forced to. It's better to be poor than to make stupid decisions that might ruin one's entire life.
Does that really make them fools or just greedy. I would not say they are fools since all they do is out of their greedy mind just want to keep stashing up something they obviously cannot take to the grave, but they were smart enough to get to that point in the first place.

Moreover, the fact that I am a business man and wanting to have more money simply makes me no fool; it is someone who is busy lazing around, limiting himself and not trying to make the best use of every opportunity to make a better life for himself is the fool. Now, in this case, I leave the less privileged out of it, due to how nature has simply placed some people in that category.
598  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you think that the price is fully manipulated? on: July 16, 2018, 04:25:39 PM
There are always manipulations everywhere. Before, most manipulators in the crypto market are personally people but nowadays I can say that huge banks and the top rich people in the world are having their stakes and are also trying to manipulate it.
Most especially for a market that is driven by speculation. We all know as much as value this market creates, very few are utilizing it for what it is and most people are actually just trying to find means to get rich overnight and discarding the real value and since that is the case, it has made the market to become purely speculative, driven by FUD or FOMO, the whales trying to drive it up or down to their own advantage and we just cannot hide from it.

Even bitcoin marketcap is big, only very few people are into active trading and the number of reputed marketplaces also very less. These are the things which will help manipulators as forex kind of markets are having completely different senario compared to cryptos which means manipulations are still possible.
599  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: SECRET OF TRADING on: July 15, 2018, 05:57:42 PM
Trading needs a lot of strategies like patient, making a research or anything that can help to you to grow your money.
Trading is not easy need a lot of knowledge there before you start better if you have some knowledge before to start it because if you do not have enough knowledge can cause losing your capital.
All these even starts with a very great knowledge. This knowledge is one thing a lot of people do not have because they always refuse to learn most of the time. What some people just want to do now is to hit the exchange and expect to start making money from the fluctuations by buying low and selling high which is not a strategy.

Even if you are buying or selling, there are certain things to be looked at to help fuel that decision, and the truth is that so many people usually discard that and end up facing the consequences.
600  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you play online casino? if Yes... on: July 15, 2018, 02:05:28 PM
Yes, I tried and it was a fun experience for me. I tried slot machines and even I did not win, I feel so happy playing on it. I did not really aim on winning because I only used a small amount of satoshis and just hoping a bit that perhaps I could win.
To me i personally fined more fun in casino while playing gambling as compare to online gambling, but online gambling is more easy and Continent than a physical casino, where you do not need to visit a casino, but can play gambling online from your home. I think that through this way you can play gambling anonymously and no one will know about you.

The exact opposite works for me because i like to protect my privacy no matter what and so staying at home and gambling secretly couldn't have been better. I also have nosy neighbours and friends and i try as much as possible to keep them away from my gambling and family issues.
So you are worrier as well. Many people call them worriers because they gamble and earn money. But they don’t know this money is going to be lost in coming days. Very soon their pockets are going to be emptied and they are going to lose their minds and families and relatives and everything. Then they come on roads and live rest of their lives as miserable as suck.
It happens a lot to most gamblers who think the world would smile on them by bringing them huge luck to make it big from gambling, but they have forgotten the fact that things do not just work that way. Control is one thing that is highly needed for anyone who really is looking for better reasons to gamble than just the money which I certainly have not seen any, but the earlier a gambler accepts the fact that the chances of losing is still big, the better they will know how to be careful enough not to flop badly.
