581  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The prospect of mixers in a congested mempool on: November 18, 2023, 10:43:33 AM
There is no doubt that Bitcoin mixer is a great innovation. It is actually what makes Bitcoin retain some of its key attributes like privacy and anonymity. However, the recent congestion of the mempool resulting in high transaction fees and longer waiting time for transactions confirmation might have huge impact in mixing business considering that mixers usually have time range for settlement, this being unique for each mixer and often used as competitive advantage.

Do you think this could be a major challenge to the business of coin mixing?
It can really be a major challenge for bitcoin mixer owners because ridiculously high transaction fees stop people from making a bitcoin transactions. When bitcoin transaction is high enough that it can eat up to two digits percentage and then on top of that mixer is also going to take additional fees from you, then you sit and wait when fees go down or stop to care too much about your privacy.

It can also be temporary challenge for bitcoin mixer owners because if people just wait for fees to go down but deep in their bones they want to mix it, these customers will visit bitcoin mixers when fees go down and in overall, mixers will experience quick burst of users and then things will get smooth.

Well, nice surprise, at least I'm not the only one thinking about this!

I've seen numerous users saying that all you have to do to avoid high fees is to stop paying for stuff, well, since mixing right now small amounts is a losing business for some, I wonder if those guys recommending this and carrying a mixing signature would be also ok with mixer not advertising during this period either as they wound;t see much business anyhow!

It's easy to say wait for the "spam" to end, I wonder how easy is to tell a business to close down till the spam end!
Bitcoin mixers might experience loss in bitcoins today but their bitcoins have significantly increased in terms of USD value and we shouldn't forget it. After all, bitcoin mixer business owners have families and they need USD for their daily activities. Btw to be honest, small transactions have never been the major profit source for bitcoin mixers, they make money from large transactions by collecting 1%-5% fees from them. It's better to have user who mixes 10 BTC in one process instead of 20 users who mix 0.002 bitcoins.
582  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Winning big amount after watching streamer on: November 16, 2023, 09:33:51 PM
I try a couple of buy bonus worth 25$ and I hit x3800 using 0.2$ on my 5th buy bonus which insane since it almost same experience when I watch the streamer video. This kind of event is like dream come true since I never imagine winning same with the video I watch even though there’s a difference on the winning amount.
That's amazing, I have don't play slots but I was playing dice and bustabit very often, every day for hours and I have never hit x3800 or something similar. My max was maybe x100. But your win is amazing, that's one in a million. By the way, I have similar one in a million accident where I made bet on sports games, I had 13 matches added in my ticket but I only did my research on 5 matches and I blindly took other 8 matches with odds higher than 2.0 and luckily I won that ticket. My odd was up to x1500 but sadly I only had bet 10 cents on this ticket.
583  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Any alternative Bitcoin transaction accelerators to viaBTC? on: November 16, 2023, 10:49:28 AM
ViaBTC offers 100 Free hourly slots for transactions they can help to accelerate if they meet the requirements but this get used up in just 3 minutes lately  Grin

Can anyone recommend any good free alternative transaction accelerator to viaBTC that they know?

We are looking at real transaction accelerators and not transaction rebroadcasters.

Last time I checked them, they were always available because they changed their terms and were only accepting specific transactions, I couldn't imagine if that slots would ever get filled.
There is not any good free bitcoin transaction accelerator, simply there isn't one. Paid ones ask you so much that it doesn't worth it. I remember that Quickseller has an access to some pools and can accelerate your transaction, you can contact him but he is not active lately.

From my experience bitaccelerate.com has always worked well. It rebroadcasts the transaction among many nodes, and is completely free.

Everything else I have tried has either been paid, or free but not effective. I've tried and experimented with every single one, except I have done this some time ago. There may be better solutions, however bitaccelerate has always done the job for me.

I hope this helps Smiley
You are just lucky. When you were using bitaccelerator, your transaction got broadcasted again but that is not what made it confirmed. Luckily, transaction fees decreased at the same time and your transaction has got included in bitcoin blocks.
584  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✅ 0✘BET | Casino & Sportsbook | NO KYC ' Fast Payouts! 🎲⚽ on: November 16, 2023, 09:49:20 AM
Is it not related to 1xbit or 1xbet? I just asked this. But I hope 0xbet is not related. Anyway, welcome to the bitcointalk forum. I hope you can properly establish your community here in the field of crypto business.

Do you have any bonuses ready for newcomers to your casino? apart from welcome bonuses, free spins, and others? The competition that you will face here in the crypto gambling business is quite intense, so you should refine and improve your actions.
It doesn't look like to be related to1xbit or 1xbet, at least 0xbet and them use different content management system for their casinos and I highly doubt betb2b would build a new website on different CMS.
Btw why did you choose this name OP? 1xbet, 1xbit <-- these casinos are scams and their domain names are abused, there are hundreds of phishing websites that abuse 1xbet and 1xbit names. I think it's not a good idea to build a new casino on this name because there is a high chance that new player will think this is just another phishing casino or a scam one under 1xbet name. Not a wise decision.
585  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: November 16, 2023, 09:28:18 AM
By the way it still doesn't make sense to get those rewards, the pricing is just not making any sense. If we are talking about 5+ million RP, that means we are talking about 0.05000000 as in 5 million satoshi. That means with 37k dollars or so per bitcoin, that is over 1.5k, nearly 2k dollars for 5 million RP, and we are talking about even more than that, it's 5 million something for an iphone 15 pro max. Look at the prices of the phones, you can get it for a lot cheaper than that, or at least it is like that for my nation, no idea about each nation. That means if I encash the reward points, turn them into satoshi, withdraw to my exchange, turn it into fiat, and then buy the phone, I would have money left from it.

I think the reward part was never the part they wanted to get attention to, they never really wanted people to get these rewards, they would rather see people get the money for it instead, makes it easier, allows them to do it quicker and cheaper.

You are right, I believe RP prices don't change the way free rewards change as price goes up and down. They probably set RP prices on items at first and left it as default, didn't touch it since then. It will be good if they adapt RP prices according to Bitcoin price but it will be even better if they offer electronic items in cheaper price than one would buy them by converting them in satoshis. Btw you guys really made a good point here, I hope freebitco management will have a look at them again. It will also be great if they offer some kind of cashback to FUN holders on freebitco, for those who hold FUN on freebitco for more than a year.
586  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Casinos with Online and Offline version, Are they the same? on: November 16, 2023, 08:18:58 AM
If yes, then why is it that in terms of trust, they appear to be so different?

I will give you guys two examples.

My first example is 1xbet.com
Over here in my country, we have a local domain for this casino which is known as either ng.1xbet.com or 1xbet.ng, I want to believe that the global domain is 1xbet.com.

Now, here is the thing, here in my country, we trust 1xbet to be one of the most reputable gambling and betting platform, Infact, there are hundreds of thousands of betting agents scattered all over the states in the country that are directly affiliated with this casino, and millions of gamblers all over the country patronize them.
1xbet is a very strange casino. It's known for everybody that they are scammers but they are super popular at the same time. They have private room in Evolution Gaming full of 1xbet tables with 1xbet background and they don't have only 1 private room, they have 2. They have some other tables too and there are so many Russian players playing all the time.

Have you checked that of the forum is 1xbit and not 1xbet though I don't know if they are both the same since I never used them before in the forum, then back to offline 1xbet I have I actually used it to gamble then and I don't see any issues with them my withdrawal and deposit was smooth without any bad records.
Open 1xbit.com and 1xbet.com side by side in your browser, you'll notice that both of them are using the same system. They both use Bet-B2B.com to manage their casinos but years ago 1xbet and bet-b2b had exactly the same color system on their websites that makes me think that bet-b2b and 1xbet are managed by the same team. Then you have 1xbit on bet-b2b's platform. Does anyone think that 1xbet and 1xbit will be managed by different people? And keep in mind that 1xbet and 1xbit had tables in Evolution next to each-other.
587  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a peer to peer method less popular than as an investment on: November 15, 2023, 08:45:48 PM
Don't get me wrong I'm not saying it as an investment is bad since it has helped in increasing the community but many people have become so concerned about its price and have forgotten it's inherent uses.
No, I didn't get you wrong because you are right. I'd say that 90% of people use bitcoin for investment purposes and they rarely know its major advantages. Not many people use bitcoin because of its decentralization, p2p payments and improved privacy. I dare to say that people don't know this side of coin, they only think about profits because it was some cents in 2010 and rose up to 70K. Now, everyone is focused on price and the popularity with reserves of centralized exchanges is a good proof to back up my argument. Even better is Monero. I have been saying since 2016 that Monero will be the next bitcoin because it has so many advantages in every aspect but it's still not so popular. My conclusion is that people care about investments instead of benefits that they can achieve from it besides finances.
588  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: J.P. Morgan Thinks the Big Crypto Rally Is Overdone on: November 15, 2023, 07:18:50 PM
After a small correction which was seen by everyone who knows how Bitcoin works, the analyst at the top company like J.P. Morgan thinks the Crypto Rally, especially Bitcoin is done.
How can they be so bad at their profession? I don't have a finance degree and I was able to call the $26k to $40k to $30k like two months before it all happened.

What do you all think about this?
Analysts at top company like J.P. Morgan know what they say, they aren't drunk. Thy have tons of money in their pockets and are highly educated but that doesn't mean they'll be honest and frank with people. They own centralized services, own financial institutes, have influence on billions of people and control them by controlling the money supply. Why do you expect them to say anything in favor of crypto? BlackRock owns 194.92MM shares of JPMorgan Chase & Co that translates as 6.6% share of the company. BlackRock invests in Bitcoin but J.P. Morgan says bitcoin will fall. Does it make sense? I think the message is clear, they are manipulating the market and people.
589  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: History of garage mining in Russia on: November 15, 2023, 12:24:27 PM
Wow, that's quite a situation! Those super cheap electricity prices gotta be bringing in some monster crypto mining operations.  Makes me wonder:

How often do people around there end up setting up mining rigs in their garages and stuff because of the low prices? Is it like a common thing for folks to do since electricity doesn't cost much? Do they have any rules or safety measures for people doing mining in residential spots?

I'm real curious if its widespread or if it's just a few folks trying to cash in.   But hey, cheap powers a nice perk if you can make some crypto money off it!
Monster crypto mining companies don't need to move in different areas to get cheap electricity. All they need is some corruption and agreement with positions and they get cheap electricity. Russia is also very corrupt country and don't think that you just go in Irkutsk and start mining. Local people of the city can probably mine some coins without any permission. This is only my expectation.

It's very common for people to set up mining rigs in their garage if they have low electricity prices. In small countries someone in IT always has a friend who has a friend that lives in a place where electricity is cheap. These friends together start a small mining farm.

590  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetKing.io - BKB token REFUNDS - $70k refunded so far on: November 15, 2023, 11:59:03 AM
To be honest, I don't understand your real motives. What will happen once you refund all BKB token holders? Will you sell domain and software? Leave the forum? Relaunch betking.io? Or do you plan to relaunch it? There is a casino called betcoin that was full of negative trust but that changed because they changed their behaviour. Do you think that you can wash away negative trust with your attitude and successfully relaunch betking.io? I'm just curious because once upon a time this casino was very successful.
It sounds as though he is trying gauge the public opinion and appetite for investment therefore he keeps posting here from time to time just to state he is refunding victims and yet still says he will not launch the website for new customers though he might sell it or licence the brand. He seems uncertain how to maximise a brand he still believes can make him money and I think the negative tags will probably never be removed.

No matter what he does, the so-called heydays of betking are over and he will never be able to capture those pre-ICO highs again. Nobody will ever give him 6000 BTC for the bankroll and when he starts scamming winners of his Christmas wagers and the 50 BTC bankroll by blaming it on a hack that never happened, it means he is clutching at straws if he really believes he will make money from betking again.
Domain name BetKing.io is good but who is going to buy this domain that has such a bad reputation? When someone types betking.io in google, there won't be good search results. Any buyer of this domain or brand at first has to remove old bad reputation which is a huge headache and then has to build damaged reputation from scratch, double work, it's better to start from scratch compared to start from negative.
His software must be outdated because betking never was on the level of Stake.com, FortuneJack and Bitsler and I have believe it was more likely project ran by one man or a very small team that didn't have UI/UX designers, researchers and other necessary backend staff.

If I were him, I would give up on this project. Yes, domain is great but not as great as stake.com - No one will pay millions in betking. It's done to my mind. It had a very good start but very sad ending.
591  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you rather make your investments in FIAT or CRYPTO? on: November 15, 2023, 11:05:26 AM
I mean, why do you need a fiat in the first and what is that monthly interest rate you are talking about?
It's not only about monthly interest and investments. We all have emergency cases in life and you can't pay for them with bitcoin. What if there is a car accident, you got an injury, need surgery or something emergency happens? We all prefer to have something stable and fiat is the best option in this case. To my mind, it's necessary to have some emergency funds in fiat.

There is no such thing as a more profitable investment in cryptocurrency or fiat, I know very successful people who, with the help of fiat money, get much greater profits than those who deal with crypto.

With cryptocurrency it’s even more complicated, because you can’t count your profit if you only see numbers on the screen, it won’t be your profit until you withdraw it into cash, which you can hold in your hands. I know such successful investors in crypto who owned hundreds of thousands of dollars and ultimately withdrew only a few tens of thousands, all the rest of the profit was eaten up by the bear market.
If one can use fiat wisely and start a very profitable business instead of focusing on passive income, no doubt that will be a good choice but for passive income, crypto is the best option because it's still new, growing rapidly and there is the space for development for it. New and innovative things are the future.

593  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I go with Bitcoin or Altcoins for the upcoming bull run cycle? on: November 14, 2023, 10:35:12 PM
BTC Only don’t touch alts
There is nothing wrong in altcoins. Why shouldn't you invest in them? in 2020-2021 you could generate a huge profit by investing money in Matic polygon and it was not a shit memecoin, it was a valid coin. BNB was a good option too because that halving was the time of rise for Binance as a trading platform. There are many details that you have to consider because it's not 2016 today when you could 100x your capital in some months via holding bitcoin only.

using BTC as collateral to borrow USD for Altcoin investments.
Nice plan exchanger like Binance offer collateral loan with low interest. so we can invest our money on bitcoin and take some loan by collateral our BTC then invest in Altcoins. Altcoin is much profitable and when bitcoin pump altcoins also pump with Bitcoin. So if the market is good then in this case we will get several times more profit from both investments
If you want short term trading with altcoins, you can move your bitcoins into futures and open short or long position while your asset will be calculated in bitcoins. Pros of this method is that if you open short and bitcoin price goes high, in case your short position isn't doing well, your bitcoin's rise will compensate it but cons is that if you open long position but its not going well and bitcoin's price is going down, you'll accelerate go to the way of liquidation.

594  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gambling and Invest in gambling. on: November 14, 2023, 08:35:57 PM
I am a discipline and a responsible gambler but tend to quit gambling somedays.
I think I am going to be missing the whole fun of it but if I would find it difficult keeping total off it, I have thought of going around the gambling grounds (gambling tables) with a logical lucrative planning to taking advantage over the gambling tables though am not gonna be a partaker in the gambling anymore.

How do I take advantages over the gambles while I am not gambling anymore?
I tend to invest in the gambling. How?
At my visits in the gambling grounds, I will be lending my funds to the losers who has run out of  funds and willing to bet more if they have more money.
I tends to make this a deal with interest charges with concrete agreement to be secured and I will be opened to also accepting collaterals.

I verily know that I will succeed more of the inexperienced and those gamblers who doesn't have gambling budgets including those who can't take control over their gambling emotions
Do you think it's a good idea to earn money that way? You are taking advantage of situation where person needs help and instead of offering help, you add fuel to the fire and push him to take loan from you to continue gambling and ask for interest on top of that. It seems to me that you manipulate with people and laugh on them, call them losers. Please don't be a bad guy who abuses poor, lost guys. The only morally acceptable and responsible way to invest in gambling is to invest in casino or hold your money on websites like freebitco.in
595  Economy / Economics / Re: Boycotting iSrAEl's product? think again. on: November 14, 2023, 06:16:58 PM
These aren't Israeli companies and it's stupid to boycott them but it's good to boycott some of them like Nestle.

LOL. I see like almost 5 Nestle brands in that picture.

Nestle has done far worse things than picking sides in any particular war, and people have been boycotting them for decades, but the blood-thirsty company continues to buy up other businesses and hurt more people by making things prohibitively expensive for them.
Nestle is an evil company that has been doing genocides for years. They lied to mothers in Africa that Neste's formula was better than their breast milk, gave away Nestle's product for free for a period of time that was enough to stop lactation in mothers and then increased product price. They made mothers dependent on their products. Absolutely everyone should boycott them but people rarely know this dark side of Nestle and many of them don't really care. Nestle also owns many companies in many categories and buys very successful companies. People buys and owns companies that produce very high quality products and have no competitors in quality and production. It's getting very hard to boycott nestle.
596  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance bitcoin wallet maintenance on: November 14, 2023, 04:52:58 PM
This maintenance usually takes place at a time when the platforms are witnessing the least withdrawal requests, and since the maintenance time is less than hours or around 3 hours, most customers rarely complain about it, but it is a reminder that all you have is a number in the database and not real money, and in some cases states you can't even sue them or demand compensation.
How is it a reminder that all we have is a number in the database and not real money? This is only bitcoin wallet maintenance. To my mind, this is a reminder of not your keys - not your coins.

I don't think CZ will care about user funds and don't think that storing funds on the Binance exchange will be safe even though Binance always campaigns to the public with information to give peace of mind to fund owners on Binace via official social media accounts whenever problems occur.

Several topics have been posted on the forum regarding the concerns that every user who stores large funds there should have.
Even though this maintenance info is complete, I don't trust the exchange to hold funds.
Our coins, we hold the key.
CZ always tweets "your funds are safu" every time something bad happens because he doesn't want people to withdraw coins because this will create a terrible situation for them. Another FTX will happen if people start panicking but problem is that DEXs are hard to use while Binance is super easy, had Binance card with high cashback, you can trade your coins in seconds... There are many reasons to use Binance... At the moment they are the best but this danger of losing coins always worries me. Altcoins that I trade don't have wallet like Bitcoin Core and I have to keep them on Binance, that's a huge problem for me.
597  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚽️ SPORTBETTING ADVICE ⚽️ on: November 13, 2023, 01:33:13 PM
sports betting is always the top choice for a bettor who wants to try his luck with lower risks. I really understand that all types of betting have risks, but this is different from sports betting, which has less risk by predicting the team score to get a bigger chance of winning, although there are always surprises such as luck, but the favorite team will not always keep losing.
while casino games such as slots etc. depend heavily on luck and cannot predict the chances of winning.
To my mind we can't compare the risks of sports betting to slots and luck based games because they are very different from each-other. When you play slots, you get results instantly, just one click and you either win or lose, you can also repeat that many times but sports, for example - football, it depends on players conditions, you have to wait for 90 minutes or more to see the result of your bet.
To summarize, in slots and similar games your luck depends on what result machine will generate but in sports, you depend on real humans and the result of their actions. I prefer sports because I know I can make analyze of who plays, when plays, where plays, in what condition they are while I can't analyze that in slots and in roulette.
598  Economy / Gambling / Re: Evolution — report for Q3 (HOW THEY EARN THAT MUCH?) on: November 13, 2023, 11:02:05 AM
I'm just wondering how it works. People always loosing even in a big distance so they keep having such great numbers?

I understand, that if I'll win big summ in crazy time by catching x1000, operator won't pay to evolution nothing this month. But what about next month? Don't they suppose to have negative carryover agreement? A lot of casino operators have such things with afilliates to share risks.
It doesn't matter for Evolution how much gamblers win or lose. It's simple as ABC: Evolution gaming offers you space for studio, tables, dealers, shufflers, cards, monitoring, security, user interface, backend side, teamleaders, their supervisors, etc, etc... Evolution offers this service and asks you to pay fixed money for them. It's not different from renting an apartment where you pay monthly for 100 square meter while you are not responsible for earthquakes or other damages that may affect house where you live.
This is why for Evolution it doesn't matters how much someone wins or loses, they get paid for offering the service and capital is on casino. Casinos pay for rent and pay for win/loses. Evolution games are 100% fair and honest.
599  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you want to play on casinos without KYC requirements? on: November 13, 2023, 09:51:49 AM
I was thinking about this question over the weekend and I cannot seem to find legitimate reasons why people would want to play at casinos that do not require KYC verification.

1. KYC requirements reduce money laundering.
2. KYC requirements reduce under age gambling.
3. KYC requirements increase the possibility to hold people to account for their actions. (Exploiting casino systems)
4. KYC requirement reduce scamming
5. KYC requirements can be used to restore accounts after it has been hacked. (Using the documents that were used by the original owner)
6. KYC requirements adhere to government regulations and legitimize a casino.
7. KYC requirements can be used to reduce gambling addiction. (Identifying people that self-excluded or people trying to create new accounts)
8. KYC requirements can be used to enforce regional gambling restrictions.

Why would you want to avoid being identified, if you gamble legally and if you are not a criminal? Let's discuss the reasons why KYC are not advantageous for the gamblers and casinos?

Ps. I am playing Devil's advocate... if you did not notice it.  Grin
1. What if you are a criminal and force someone to do KYC verification for you? KYC verified person will be the only victim. In overall, elites manage to launder money with or without KYC through banks, verification doesn't matter if you have deep pockets. See the scandals of money laundering though one of the biggest bank in the world, deutsche bank.
2. Yes, it may reduce under age gambling but teens can also ask other adults to borrow account and gamble with adults account, that's not a big deal too.
3. Doesn't make sense.
4. Doesn't make sense.
5. Valid point but take care of digital security and you won't face that problem.
6. KYC is forced by governments.
7. I can't agree with you here, it's very individual process. There are casinos that really care about their customers and there are ones that try to use the weaknesses of their users as advantage.
8. Yes, good point.

I suggest you to keep in mind that people use bitcoin for it's anonymity and decentralization. When you use Bitcoin, you care about your privacy and bitcoin casino should be the one that will help you to take care of your privacy. If they ask you for KYC and your bitcoins are traced or getting watched where they come and go, then it's meaningless to use crypto. There is a fiat for privacy-less world.
600  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase delisting BSV :) on: November 13, 2023, 09:13:52 AM
Considering the fact that the bitcoin community is fighting against the faketoshi, this is a big win and I still think its relevant to this section.
Edit: the mods moved it anyway
What does bitcoin community has to win? Do we have to win anything against Craig Wright? This man is a liar, his product is bullshit, he tries to use the loopholes that exist in laws and wants to make as much money as possible and make the court process last as long as possible.

After getting delisted on Binance, Robinhood, and Bitfinex they are losing their battle, this is not the last exchange that's going to delist BSV many more will come in the future if Big exchanges are doing this I'm sure small and local exchanges will do the same, BSV is just another altcoin.
If Binance, Bitfinex and Coinbase are delisting this coin, then where are they going to be listed? This coin is dying, dead very soon. Other exchanges added this coin because BSV is a fork of Bitcoin Cash, which is a fork of original Bitcoin. When you have balance on your account and make a fork, you get free airdrop of new forked coin. Exchanges probably made tons of money out of thin air and decided to add BSV for that reason.
