601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NAGA - Most promising ICO ive seen so far. on: December 13, 2017, 11:17:40 PM
Warning: That is a referral link.
I don't disagree that it's a good project, but they're asking way too much and they're in over their heads. I don't think they'll achieve all that in due time.

SwipeStox is already finished. I was pretty skeptical aswell but, I've had a few ICOs now where I got scammed so I'm getting aboard one I know is not.
602  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin going crazy on: December 12, 2017, 07:24:54 PM
A lot of newcomers are buying up LTC, ETH and BTC. This is the reason its going up so hard. Coinbase even had to shut down LTC buy/sells for a while because the traffic was to big.

604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bittrex Support Tickets Time to solve on: December 12, 2017, 07:10:48 PM
Got all my tickets resolved within a day. Even when I didn't supply all information and it was my own fault(though  the problem and solution were obvious) they fixed it without giving a hassle.
605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need help with waves on: December 12, 2017, 01:09:04 AM
Hi,

I tried to buy waves a while ago, i downloaded the google chrome extension, tho is it just me or is it really inconvenient to buy waves? i wanted to deposit some euros so i could buy the waves but its like a total shit storm to do so, i had to download an application on my smartphone, open a video chat and show my identification on video to proof it's me.. wtf? Is there no easy way to buy waves either with euro or with litecoins/bitcoin? This just seems like total bullshit to me, even other sites that sell crypto that requare identification mostly only require it from a specific amount of money (like 200+ euro or 1000+ euro) and the identification they accept is just a picture with ur ID or passport etc, but with waves i just wanted to buy like 200 euro of it and they recuired me to start a video chat etc. and the problem is when i tried this it didn't even work lol there were like 7 people before me waiting ''in line'' to confirm their ID, i waited for like 20 minutes and then i just gave up lol.

I don't know if it's just me but if i have to go through this shit to simply buy some waves i'd rather stick to other crypto's..

You mean you wanted to deposit euros on the waves wallet/platform or was this with a specific exchange? Seems like pretty standard procedure though, a lot of exchanges require identification for big withdrawels but when it comes to bank transfers a lot of them want to confirm your account first. I've never had any problem buying waves, but I always bought on Bittrex not on waves platform.
606  Local / Nederlands (Dutch) / Re: Website bouwen - welke host? on: December 11, 2017, 08:58:33 PM

607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ScamCoin or??.....please help on: December 11, 2017, 08:08:35 PM
Ok well if they're only accepting their local currency than i'd move on.

I wouldn't invest in anything coming from these parts of Africa, the chance you get scammed is to big but it seems they already took care of that since I dont own any Kenyan currency and I'm surely not going to get some for their project.

Don't think its worth the time to ''investigate'' this.
608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THOUGHT ABOUT BOUNTY CAMPAIGNS on: December 11, 2017, 07:58:52 PM
Guys, what do you think about bounty campaigns? in or out? why?

I have an agenda, will reveal in the future after hearing your answers and whys  Smiley

****After reading some comments- let me rephrase: I am not trying to decide whether I should join a campaign. I am interested in hearing what you all have to say about this process and its value to the ICO.

Do you think bounty campaign makes the difference between a successful and an unsuccessful ICOs?

Do you think maybe the fact that a lot of people just joining without really understanding and just promoting 5-6 ICO's at a time is actually bad for those ICO's, making them look unprofessional or "cheap"?

Yes it does matter to the ICO, there are tons of them so marketing them is difficult unless you have a lot of money to throw at it. It gives very good exposure. ICOs are often still invested in in a close community, most people don't even know what an ICO is. No I don't think it looks cheap at all, although you could safe some on choosing specific languages for translation in your bounty. I think Signatures and social media might be the most important part of marketing an ICO, bounty wise. What does look cheap is people spamming referral links. Signatures make me aware of ICOs that i'd else probably would not have noticed. Such as Universa.

But for illustration purposes check out some websites like icoalert.com and icobench.com and see how crowded it is with ICOs. If you want to meet your targets you will have to do some marketing.

He confirmed that he advised President Donald Trump about what to say to a grieving family, including the statement that a soldier knows what he signs up for when he volunteers to serve in the Army

Well they do right? Not sure what he needs to apologize for but then again I don't know what happened. And I agree with the comment above me most.

612  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it possible to calculate how much an altcoin can reach? on: December 11, 2017, 01:50:36 PM
I was wondering if there's any way I can estimate a value that a coin can achieve based on their supply and market cap. Is this a thing or the price can be anything depending on the speculation?

Sorry if this is a noob question.

Well there's nothing conclusive but you can compare it to something else. Lets say Pivx and Dash, Dash has a current marketcap of ~5.6bln and Pivx ~250mln

5.6bln/250mln= x22,4  (current price $4,55)

So Pivx could potentially go x22,4 from where its at now, though this is a bit of a longshot.

You could also then say okay Pivx can go to 5.6bln what would be the price? ~5.6bln/~55mln = ~$101,- each. (Marketcap/supply)

Does this help or?

You can't be serious right? These E-coins are nothing but scams and aidrop tokens are often sold off for a quick profit.
614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ELECTRONEUM SPECULATION THREAD on: December 10, 2017, 09:37:48 PM
just noob question here. When wallets will be released can i send my coins directly to cryptopia from my.electroneum.com website or i have to send it to my paper wallet first ? if the currect price stays i want to cover my ico investment  Smiley

No you can send them directly from your online wallet, no paper wallet needed. Paper wallets are for security, like nano's and trezors.

I guess I will hold it for a while, was planning on dumping it but might be worth to stick it trough and see what happens. On price predictions.. I really don't know, would be cool to see like 1 dollar or something.
619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Cardano smart contract platform better than Ethereum and NEO? on: December 10, 2017, 01:07:04 AM
Where did Cardano came from? It just popped up one day in the top 100 of CoinMarketCap.

At 26 billion ADA its supply is very high. The market cap is already $3.3 billion, if it reaches the level of Ethereum the price would be about $1.30 per ADA.

It was targeted towards asian investors, I believe predominatly Japanese investors, they said they did so because they thought the western market was saturated. Not bad because the investors that got into Cardano got it at $0.002 so thats a staggering 55x return already. I personally think it won't take very long for its marketcap to go over 10bln and I expect it to be around 50bln in 2019. But thats speculation.
620  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Quantum Theory on: December 10, 2017, 12:52:02 AM
So you believe everything is random?

Nothing is accidental.."small causes can have larger effects".

I could still accidentally break a vase, the owner of the vase gets mad at me and I might then take out my frustration on someone else who had a breaking point and commits suicide.
Still started with an accident, don't care how metaphysical you want to get. It wasn't intentional and therefore it was an accident.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Butterfly_effect

Sė, but you say ''Nothing is accidental'' which, and I might be incorrect cause its late here, implies that you assume a creator. Cause if there's purpose, then that purpose must be given by some conscious entity. If ''Nothing is accidental'' then there's reason.

Butterfly effect demonstrates nothing more than how perceivably unrelated events can be related, but perceivably doesn't mean it was intentional or with reason, it just means that we didn't make the connection before. Someone knocking over a vase and that results into a suicide is butterfly effect indeed but it doesn't proof reason or intent.
