621  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin volume is still rising ? on: July 11, 2018, 07:06:18 PM
Do you think Bitcoin still on the rise in terms of market capitalization ?
At least, it is not what it used to in the past few years or since the whole journey started. One thing with this space is that market cap can increase hugely today and could reduce tomorrow, but that does not mean it still would not keep increasing in the long run as time goes on and as we keep getting to see a huge demand for the currency to even be able to get to the point where it goes bazooka.

We are still in a bear trend, so it is normal to always see depreciation in cap at times like this. As of now, bitcoin prices may fail to attract new investors which is the real cause for whatever criteria you are considering to weigh the potential of bitcoin for deciding the futures of entire human race.
622  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Blockchain help eliminate the basic problems in the world? on: July 11, 2018, 05:48:43 PM
Poverty, legal identity etc. are major concerns in the third-world countries. Data says one-third of children in the world still lack legal identity (sourced from Informationweek). Poverty and lack of food still kill thousands of people. Can Blockchain put an end to all this?
I don't think so, blockchain technology can't put an end to these problems. Blockchain technology has been here for almost a decade and it does not affect the poorest of the people in the world. This technology had only made the rich, richer the way i see it. They all have the resources to manipulate things they want.
It will not. Some will still be poor, some will end up rich and the rich will still get richer.

What blockchain technology will do is to bring some advancement, cut out the third party stuffs, and probably help some people who are smart to find a way to adapt the technology like some companies are now doing, which I believe will help change some things but when it comes to government rule, centralization will still be the norm of the day whether blockchain is adopted or not, and we all know what that means and the only way is for each individual to break out from those shackles by themselves.
623  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: transfer from myetherwallet to other exchange's on: July 10, 2018, 04:21:48 PM
You need some eth to cover the gas/transaction fee to generate transaction to transfer a certain coin. You can adjust gwei and gas to high for faster transaction. Any exceeded amount will be back to your balance. If the transaction failed the eth you used as gas fee will be deducted.
Adjusting the gas too high does not necessarily mean. Most of the time, when you are making transactions via MEW, MEW automatically sets the limit to the current network fee you will have to pay for your transaction and that is usually good enough since you will get your transaction confirmed within minutes.

The only problem you will have is adjusting it downward, as that would for sure slow down the confirmation process unless you just simply do not need to do anything immediately.
624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If I "just" wanted to 3x? on: July 10, 2018, 01:31:11 PM
so many ICO's it not worth anymore when going in exchange, a lot of dumper trader, and when we talk altcoin if market is like last year you can choose new altcoin when bullrun coming and you will reach 3 x or more
We are in the downtrend and it sure will be affecting a lot of the ICO markets anyway.
It happened last year even when a lot of the altcoins took a huge hit but that does not mean that when altcoins came back they still did not end up doing great eventually.

Nothing should be expected much from altcoins when bitcoin is in a huge downtrend or a huge bull trend, as the only time we should expect anything at all from alts is when bitcoin moves a little bit sideways.
625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Moving out from litecoin on: July 10, 2018, 07:22:10 AM
I suggest you invest directly in ETH, which may be a better choice.
Because NEO has been on a downward trend, many dapps are moving out of NEO and moving to ETH.
Well, NEO, ETH or whatever as long as it is a good project is not a bad idea to invest in but as it is, a lot of them are in their downtrends anyway and no one knows what the future holds for any of them in terms of value increase in percentage in short or long term except to hope for the best for any of them.

However, it is the market, and looking at chances of growth in value at the moment, I want to assume NEO may actually want to make some pretty good move this year, but like I said, no one knows.
626  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could the Bitcoin price by the end of 2018 only 4000$ - 6000$? on: July 10, 2018, 06:43:56 AM
I hope it is just a prediction, and do not want that to happen, because there will be many people who are disappointed and feel at the disadvantage.  Cry
There is a lot of indecision in the market and with that bouncing back and forth though, I am actually considering the possibility of a reversal soon but not some serious reversal but just a possible one towards $7500 which could link with the support line we broke out from the wedge formation downward. We are still in the downtrend, and we could even hit as low as $5500 possibly, but let's see how time will end up playing that out.

But, by the times of year end, most probably we will have positive trends similar to many previous years. Lets up hope for the best to happen for this community. Because no other things we have left to do except strongly holding our bitcoin savings.
627  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Altcoin Trading on: July 09, 2018, 01:03:24 PM
I'm a little bit confused guys. For example The situation is you bought an altcoin for 1 btc, let's say 1btc=10,000. so you bought an altcoin and you gained a profit so your 1btc became 1.2btc and you sold iyour altcoin for 1.2btc, but the value of btc drops let's say 1btc=9,000.. that way you will lose right? but will you regain your money or profits if the value of btc comes back to 10,000 another day? and you will have the 1.2btc=12,000? is that right? thanks for your answers.

Sorry because I didn't deliver it fluently but for those who understand what I mean, can I ask your opinion? Thanks!
I think that this time is very suitable for you to buy and trade altcoin, the market is showing signs of recovery when bitcoin prices are increasing continuously and is currently adjusted at $ 6700 level. I think the bitcoin price will still be able to keep rising so you can rest assured buying and trading altcoin. Make a transaction plan that will minimize your risk.
If we are looking at the fact that some of them may have bottomed out, then, we could say it would be ok to pick them but not still without some stop loss as the case may be since the possibility and likelihood of seeing them drop very fast in the case where bitcoin starts getting dumped is there.

Till now, we have seen some little bit of move for some of them as it is now, but nothing is guaranteed yet as chances are that bitcoin is still in a downtrend anyway and only if we can see a very good bounce on bitcoin at some point, with the likelihood of moving upward in a side manner for some time, before we will be able to see something tangible with the altcoins.
628  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin reach $100,000 dollar before the end of the year? on: July 09, 2018, 07:57:12 AM
Many participants of Cryptocurrency market who could read chart predict that the price of bitcoin will reach 100,000 dollar before the end of the year. What is your opinion? Are u positive or negative to this opinion?
DO not say that i just watch the money in this market. I want to see the opinion of people. I joined this market as i was fascinated by blockchain technology
I simply see threads like this as an extremely funny thread which makes me feel like some just simply just want to say whatever they feel like anytime they feel like since it is speculation thread anyway. However, the fact that it is a speculation thread does not mean we should not be realistic and by being realistic, there is absolutely no way bitcoin can even reach that huge amount before the end of this year. You should be thankful if you even get to see $20k this year end.
629  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to HODL or not ? on: July 09, 2018, 07:09:28 AM
I had bought some bitcoins in late December when price was around $10K. I had put all of it to trade on some altcoins to get good returns. Now, I'm all in on Bitcoin Gold, I bought it at $110 which is down to around $26. Shall I wait for another bubble to build up or sell what I'm remaining with ?

Do not rush. And do not panic. Market prices fluctuate. You have to wait for the market price to go up to sell it. Or you can make an investment. And the rest you do to trade.
Yeah, that is the idea and moreover, panic does not solve any problem anyway. One thing with every market is that there will always be time for everything and most of the time, and it is best to just relax and be prepared for those good moments ahead. So far, the only thing anyone can do now is just to be patient, the market generally has been down enough and for now, the possibility of a reversal could be there. One way or the other, what or however it is, holders will still always make the best of it in the long run.
630  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will rise from now until the end of the year? on: July 09, 2018, 04:24:42 AM
No one can really tell what the bottom deep price will be, but when the price rise starts, new price peak will be archived. I am still sure that 2018 has something good for bitcoin and all crypto currencies.
Well, we can say it may rise soon, but how soon and how far down do you think it is going to go before the bulls kick in. No one knows what is present in the future since we cannot see the future anyway, but the only thing we have is the present, and it is how the present depicts strength that matters if a trend is changing or not and as far as I am concerned, we are still in a huge bear trend right now, and until we see a serious move before we can even start thinking of any possibility.
631  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is making admirable progress! on: July 08, 2018, 04:44:49 PM
"a failure to the monetary system" ,He is simply saying :het guys, we cannot control this bitcoin of a thing, so let's do away with it. Bitcoin is a whole new experience and will not fit it to the traditional system of doing things, that's why it is innovative.
The innovation that a lot of people in the banking system are scared of anyway knowing how much it is going to end up disrupting a lot of things for them and how they will  need to pretty much adjust quickly so they do not be a victim of evolution.

This is an evolutionary technology and definitely as time goes on, progress will keep being made and anyone who is simply not ready to adapt with the whole innovation is simply not ready for the future.
632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Ethereum market value reach $11,000 before end of December this year? on: July 08, 2018, 01:22:56 PM
In my opinion bitcoin will not achieve 50 000 dollars so ethereum will not achieve 10 000 dollars for sure. Look on situaction now, bitcoin price falled to 6000 dollars, it is impossible to increase own price 9x. If bitcoin really start growing, he achieve maximum 10 000 for me
It depends on the jumps the market will have in the near future. We might get the desired value of ETH that is $10000 if we came to have a market like we had the last year. There are many factors that determine the prices and can be instrumental in taking the market back to the heights. However it will only be told by the time because we are still way too away form December.
Demand, either due to real one or FOMO, it is actually something we can possibly see. I can imagine in that case though what bitcoin's value would have been worth. However, we should not forget that the same possibility where we get to see bitcoin hitting from about $1000 to $19800 in just a year, can make it possible for ETH to actually have the same push. Nevertheless, I do not see how that may actually be a possibility this year, considering we are still in a bear market phase.
633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To all bounty hunters around the world, you'll need to see this on: July 08, 2018, 07:09:32 AM
Yes, I do love crypto, and I love doing Bounties. Last year 2017 until first quarter of this year 2018, I was able to make a good amount of money our of bounties but starting april until now the profits are not that Good maybe because of the bear market season.
Bounties has actually created a path for those who may not actually have much to invest to at least be a part of a project they feel will have some huge prospect in the long run.

Everyone is a lover of cryptocurrency as long as they are part of this community for whatever reason anyway, since some believe in the long term usage and ideas of a project while some are just in it for the profit. Being a bounty hunter is actually a privilege, however, when it comes to manager, then you should better be ready for a long and huge work load.
634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Neo Making A move on: July 08, 2018, 06:37:20 AM
Agreed with you.  From the beginning of this coin, I have seen a gentle raise of this one. And so many projects are going with this coin. So I believe that it will raise in coming days with proper feedback to the market.
Normally, the altcoin market is really going to be starting some pretty good uptrend very soon and NEO is obviously not exempted. One thing I am sure about NEO is that it has been sleeping for a very long time and I see it waking up very soon.
I expect that this summer, there would be a lot of movement for most of the altcoins, but in that case, I really want to be sure that bitcoin is actually set to change trend slightly before then as getting caught with the volatility of the market can be a huge one.
635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should I invest? on: July 08, 2018, 03:10:05 AM
I am looking for projects to invest, any good idea for me?
If I were you I will be targeting some of the ICOs with good project and product that just got listed. As far as I am concerned, this will be a good move for anyone who is investing into this space. The likes of ADB, APPC, PUNDI-X, and some other good projects trading below ICO price will give anyone chance to get a huge sweet profit from these ones as time goes on which I believe any smart person will be doing at this point in time.

The current market conditions are very unstable. I think the risk of investment is very high.
Instability is the usual condition of all crypto currencies and we cannot do anything about that. Just bear it. High risk may turn as a high reward then why should go for it. Research and then invest.
636  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency wallets: Can they be hacked?? on: July 07, 2018, 04:51:03 PM
Of course, wallets can be hacked - you cannot really expect the best on everything, someone will always be smarter than anyone else and easily get their way through.
Easiest way into them is through your wallet login credentials so it is important to triple check its safety and never trust anyone.
Right, there is nothing that has never happened before and I have read some articles on how the development of quantum computers can actually create some easy ways to hacking but whichever way I am sure even the protocol of most of the cryptocurrencies must have changed so as to be able to withstand any of such hacking process.

Security is paramount in this crypto world, and that is the only way we can stay out of the hacker's vices. Always using the latest wallet version and using separate computer/laptop for wallets are few security measurements I am following right now.
637  Economy / Economics / Re: regulation and legalization of cryptocurrency on: July 07, 2018, 10:11:53 AM
While some regulation might help, I don't like the idea of a bunch of crypto-illiterate old farts creating laws to regulate crypto.
Well, no one likes that and simply as much as we do not, we certainly do not have a choice since we also have a bunch of crypto-illiterate investors as well who cannot just do the needful to verify and do due diligence before even investing into any ICO, except for the fact that they are just looking for means and ways to get rich overnight which is not done anywhere.

With regulation though, I believe things should get a bit better with scammers not even seeing a chance to breath and I guess we actually need that more than being filled with old fat crypto illiterate coming up with regulation.
638  Economy / Economics / Re: Elevator down and stairs up for BTC? on: July 07, 2018, 09:36:34 AM
Anyone that has been here for some time already knew what was happening, it was impossible to maintain the price of 20k for each coin, the price needed to go down and it did but a big problem is that after the crash people do not trust the price is going to recover because they are nervous the price will keep crashing, but even if you knew what was going to happen it was very difficult to sell when we saw the price climbing upwards every day.

The price is faster going down than it is going up and due to parabolic rise of bitcoin last December which is not sustainable because many people would later on take profits, it would obviously fall but then some would still hold on to their coins hoping for a climb up. If you are in it for the long term then it is just okay to hold on and maybe if you have more funds then you can average down but if you are just hoping for quick profits and bought near all time high then the downtrend is a pain then. One should have cut loss early.
That is how a bear market looks like. The same way the price was going so fast up last year with just very little retrace on the way down, it is the same way the price is going down faster than it is going up right now. Nothing is guaranteed yet when it comes to recovery, but the chances of downward movement is really higher than what anyone would imagine.

Probably, this year would totally be the years of the bears and some little uptrend in between, but if we are to even see the possibility of any new ATH, that would be in the next year or even next.
639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 96 BTC per syscoin - what the hell is up on binance? on: July 05, 2018, 01:38:31 PM
I heard that binance is getting hack in yesterday and today, the site cannot access. I don't know is happen with that site but I hope that our fund will safety in that site. and if the price is really getting a pump and reach 1 syscoin = 96 btc, then I should be a very rich person because I have more than 200 syscoin in that site but I do not remember if I place the sell order or not. I will check the site later if the site is back online and I hope that I already place the order sell Grin
I really hope so as well and it seems if binance does not take this whole matter of security seriously, they may just end up losing the trust of traders completely. If this is the first one, we would have said it was a mistake but the first one happened with Viacoin and then we are having about the same scenario with Syscoin ?

I know exchanges cannot be trusted when it comes to the security of one's fund but at the same time, frequent occurrences like this in an exchange can bring about a lot of worries for the users.
640  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I have a bad feeling about this rally! on: July 05, 2018, 06:23:56 AM
At this stage, I expect everyone to understand that this is not a market set yet for any uptrend, let alone some bull run and it is best to stay very careful at times like this so as not to be a huge victim of failed and bot induced breakouts. That was a very weak one and I would not really be so keen to getting into market at a point in time like this, unless there is a glaring move to the uptrend. There is still the possibility of seeing some more downward movement which is why being careful is necessary.
