641  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are memecoins tarnishing the image of crypto? on: August 05, 2023, 02:23:21 PM
It's the scammers who are tarnishing the image of cryptocurrency by using it to scam people, and those people who got scammed got to take the blame for anything so that they can vent their anger out because of their own mistake.

Even though there's still a lot of FUDs in cryptocurrency because of different news, just don't mind it, because we all know that cryptocurrency is not a scam, even meme coin, since it's has a price. Not because you didn't make a profit out of a meme coin because it rug pulled doesn't mean it's a scam.
Well it's been that way since crypto popularized. If you are not wise enough, you will get burned by those scammers lurking around and been doing a lot of things just to scam people. Scammers are just doing it repetively with different approach. Imagine every trend we have on crypto is there are always this scammer who will lunch his own sh*t and scam people. The fact is we can't get rid of those scammers even how much effort we do, anonimity is one aspect of crypto and I know scammers are thinking that it's easier to scam using cryptocurrency than fiat.
642  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: August 05, 2023, 01:55:34 PM
Mukhang magiging trending ulit yung V2.
May pang energy nanaman ulit maglaro.
Didn't expected na nasa 1k viewer yung nanunuod at that time!

https://bitpinas.com/cryptocurrency/binance-cz-sued-us-cftc/
I agree, halos ganun nga napapansin kong ginagawa nila ehh. I'm sure nag poprofit dun yung iba jan along with the insiders na nag tatrade din. Tagal na din kasi ng mga issues ng Binance na puro lang news pero as far as I know wala pang news na ma result na yung cases ng Binance. The sad thing is hindi ako nag profit personally sa kahit anong FUD na ibinigay sa binance. Dapat pala is sinulit ko yung times na may mga suit cases sila pero sooner or later I believe na unti unting mawawalan ng effects yung suit cases agains't binance.
644  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beginners, you don't need Bitcoin first on: August 04, 2023, 05:54:07 PM
If a beginner entering this industry has a regular job it is possible to say that he has the ability to start buying bitcoin. Because he has a resource that he can do the DCA too to save bitcoin.

But if a newbie buys that she doesn't have a regular job or any sideline job that is stable, I don't think it's a good option to do, but if there is a small business that can make the earnings, it is still possible. Because if jobless is a bit difficult to make DCA for bitcoin.

It is quite true that people who are doing their business or job in a good place can be more successful in crypto currency market. Investing in Bitcoin requires a good amount of money, even if buying a small amount of Bitcoin will require a decent amount. Really for those who do not have a business or a job, this platform will prove to be difficult. Those who have no other source of income should never rely solely on Bitcoin earnings. Your point is very good that DCA is a great strategy for Bitcoin but DCA is a difficult task for unemployed people.
Every investment is hard for majority of the people who doesn't have a stable income. I'm sure unemployed people will have a hard time doing DCA given that they have a timeframe to buy and having a problem with money will just ruin your DCA strategy. Buying bitcoin is a good investment in my personal oppinion but having no income to sustain your living is a very bad move to begin with. Forcing yourself to buy bitcoin that will have no sense in times of need. Imagine buying something as an investment that you don't use and sell it at a lower price because you aren't ready for potential problems like being short on living expenses or an emergency. I believe that investing on cryptocurrency should be at most second to maintaining your survival in life.
645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: De-Fi Regulation on: August 04, 2023, 04:44:59 PM
If this is passed on the court and they implemented it, I wonder how can US developers implement it right or how can they attract users/customers to use their product if they will require them to submit KYC just to use their product. I'm sure these developers will have a hard time implementing it and to think that they will change the design of their project because of regulation like this. It would be a nightmare. The question is what would the developer choose? Will they bend their system or the law. It's a question for the future.
646  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BC.GAME Laundering Money via Thailand Bank accounts, Taking legal actions. on: August 04, 2023, 04:06:27 PM
I see nothing in this accusation to take serious, evidence provides is just some stuff written on a paper with hand and pen, there is no way that could prove anything, the rest of the evidence are nothing but chat shot between account, that also proves nothing, i tried reading some of the stuffs that was written on the paper but cant just make any sense out of it ..

I personally know that some times, some casinos do get involved in some deep shit all for the money, and maybe or maybe not, OPs friend was really scammed, i wont believe any one this until i see a proper prove, till then, all i see here is nothing but just rants upon rants, OP should get a legal document showing that this is indeed a serious case, that only can make me believe, afterall, we have seen a case like this before where the OP was all over this board ranting about taking FortuneJack down, today, nobody hears from him  anymore.
I have the same thoughts. I don't understand what is the purpose of those hand written documents on the paper. Maybe OP should have explained more about the evidence details by details given that this forum is full of fake scam accusation to bring down a casino. A more and detailed evidence would be nice aside from the chat screenshots. May be the frozen bank account, transaction id's and other possible proofs that can help OP's case. We are just so sceptical about scam accusations.
647  Economy / Gambling / Re: Free Condolence Bonuses to Betnomi victims. Offered by TrustDice on: August 04, 2023, 03:40:26 PM
Interesting way of getting people onboard by using a competitors fall-out from its "little problem". But business wise I think it would have less effect than expected because the customers of Betnomi need to recover financially and emotionally from their loss. Anyway, well played from the marketing team that is attentive to the market.
Honestly, i think its demeaning to refer to the fallout of betnomi as "little problem", several people lost tens of thousands of dollars in this mate, its not a little problem, so maybe we should not refer to it as such, i have an account on betnomi, its by luck that I don't have a balance there, i just can only imagine what i will be feeling like right now if i had a balance there and lost it, while i still have about a thousand dollars stuck on Bkex exchange while they've disabled withdrawals for going to three months now.

This move by Trustdice is nothing out of the ordinary, its solely for business purposes, nothing more, any user who benefits from the so called bonus will have to meet a wager requirement, which means they can either lose half or lose all, only the lucky ones are going to make any profit off this.
Imagine more if betnomi has high rollers outside of this forum, hundred of thousands might not be enough. This is why it is important to not leave any balance even on your trusted casino because something like this might happen again and yeah it's disastrous if you are a victim. Luckily not that much members here became a scam victim. To be honest, after hearing the news about betnomi site down, I expect at least fifty members to complain here but yeah we only seen less than that.
648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Really Burn helps Token in positive way? on: August 04, 2023, 02:44:08 PM
~
In theory, that means making the supply less, and when the supply is low but the demand is high, the price of that token will be worth more. But for a token or coin to increase in price, there are many factors, it will not depend solely on the burning of coins.
The theory is right but the problem with these projects is that, burning is just a gimmick to convince the investors, the fact is they generate billions of coins in circulation and once the price reach a certain valuation with the help of market manipulation and pump people would jump in and once the market sees a correction they would advertise that they are burning the token to maintain the hype and that might not help the token if the overall market sentiments are not in their favor.
It's been an OG strategy to make a token pump. So so many projects before had done it even with the famous BNB, they are also burning supply but as time goes the expected pump in price because of the burning doesn't became into reality. Many project doesn't realize that demand and supply won't work unless there's a true demand on their token. They are simply burning tokens hoping that something got a glimpse of possible price increase. Shiba Inu is known for its aggresive burning but the we don't see massive increase on their token price, it became stable at a certain range at best.
649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Possible measures to stop online gambling addiction. on: August 03, 2023, 05:16:07 PM
I am of the opinion that since gambling sites are mostly online and some has adds that pops up as advert on visited site, one should be able to disable or change their browser settings  by blocking casino adds and as well disabling  gambling sites on their browser settings so as not to gain access to it anymore till the number of days they deem fit to their resolve.
I think this is a good idea in the short term but in the long term it will not unless the individual itself isn't updating those settings regularly. Remember, gambling addiction even without ads will still become possible and it will not the full proof solution, it may be a good prevention but I think gambling addiction knows no bounds unless the individual itself knows how to control themselves.
A simple solution to this is using ad blocker if you are concerned about advertisements by casino but I don't think it's that much effective if a gambler is really addicted. I know thst making the casino appear in front of your face is tempting knowing that you want to change or get rid of the addiction but yeah, it's not a full proof solution. At the end of the day, it will still end up on the self control of the gambler. Blocking casino is a good help but I think other support to help a gambler stop doing gambling is necessary.
650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waiting patiently for the next bull run... on: August 03, 2023, 04:16:33 PM
New memecoins seem to be a great investment if you get in on them early on.
# BART #DOGEAI #GREG  #DONS
Any of it Doesn't seems good for investment. Meanwhile i check each of those and All of those are lost their value with 10% to 40%. Those are being traded with low quality exchange with so call fake trading volume. DogeAi was good a month ago but now it shows 26% down today and i haven’t found where it is being trading, no data on cmc. That's indicates there is problem with this coin. Actually those meme coins are full off mystery and suspense. I doubt those could stay till bullRun. I would never buy any of those
I would personally buy some new projects that has a good potential than risking my money on a slowly fading popularity of meme coin. There might be a chance that meme coin will be avoided in the future bwcause of it's nature. It might be treated as an in game token of an NFT game today. Meme coin popularity decreases day by day because there are no significant coin that arises aside from pepe from the last hype that also quickly lose it's value.

I suggest that stick with real projects that has a real goals or just invest on some established projects.
651  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Wag ibandera ang email address kung saan saan on: August 03, 2023, 03:44:11 PM
I've learned my lesson before na gumamit dummy accounts. Halos lahat ngayon even device is may burner pc nako para lang makaiwas sa mga potential hacks like this.
652  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Panu labanan ang sweeper bots on: August 03, 2023, 03:28:24 PM

At kung talagang gusto natin, hardware wallet and the best talaga.
To be honest first time ko narinig tong malware nato at crypto wallets talaga yung target nito. This is the reason kaya gumagamit ako ng burner pc para sa mga iiinstall kong hindi ako sure if clean para walang madamay na important things na nakalagay sa main pc ko which is including yung isa kong wallet. As time goes, pagaling ng pagaling amg mga hackers and time will tell na baka di na marespondehan agad ng mga anti virus yung mga unknown or new malwares.
653  Local / Pilipinas / Re: US DoJ ay nag drop charges na laban kay SBF on: August 02, 2023, 05:11:14 PM
I heard that FTX will be rebuilt soon ahh at balita ko mag fofocus sila sa mga international clients.
654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitconnect : learning from the past. How is it possible to invest life savings ? on: August 02, 2023, 04:38:32 PM
Most newcomers fall into the trap when influencers describe the next Bitcoin as a reason to hold onto it, buy it, and claim that such an opportunity won't come again. They set this kind of trap to make newbies think, "Why not invest all my money and quickly become a millionaire?" However, the reality is quite the opposite. Therefore, before investing, newbies should thoroughly research on their own rather than relying on others' opinions Otherwise, some investors will continue to fall into such Ponzi schemes.
Mostly newbies are the one who are getting scammed. Remember last bull market, so many influencers pulled their followers into investing on the project they are promoting. This is also what is happening on infuencers who promote ponzi as an easy money machine. I've seen influencers flexing their money that they got from ponzi/projects everytime they want to pull people in investing into it. People just loves easy money, a person who has no financial litteracy was the one who always seek for this too good to be true opportunity but ended up being scammed. This bitconnect incident was the proof of it.
655  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Casinos Go Bankrupt Because of Player Wins? on: August 02, 2023, 04:03:19 PM
They obviously do have such tools to monitor everything happening, running a business is not a joke, you can't just let your business go bankrupt only because a player in your casino got a big win, they have everything planned so that it doesn't happen, and as you said, they would never have a reward as big as their bankroll or higher than it, even the highest jackpot one can hit in a casino is way lower than the total bankroll of the casino that they use to reward the players.

So a casino that is well-built, everything is planned and there is very good management, can never go bankrupt because of the fact that a player or multiple players won big rewards, it might happen if there is a breach in the system and some hackers or exploiters steal their money some way.

Yes ofcourse, but I won't deny the fact that there are casino sites who gives huge rewards/bonuses to their users or so as they portray.
But the reality is that after one point, they make a classic exit scam just to let the users know that all of it was a trap for them.
We have already seen hundreds of such cases where users have lost money by casino sites luring them with huge bonuses.
No matter how big rewards they give to their players, they always make sure that the rewards are according to their bankroll and they have algorithms to make sure that the games don't give out rewards as big as the bankroll itself, and the algorithms also make sure that the players don't be able to make bets so big that can win an amount bigger than the bankroll, that is the reason why most casinos have a limit for the max bet at certain games.

Also, they are monitoring everything 24/7, so whenever something goes wrong, they act quickly so that the platform don't face a lot of problems, whether it's a bug or a system error that is giving more money than a player should get for a certain win, so that the players don't abuse the system.

Yesterday I saw a clear example of this while playing slot machines at Stake website and there were a lot of people playing there from what I was chatting with other people in the chat, also exchanging ideas what slots to play. Most of the players were blaming their bad luck for their big lost amounts while after a certain time some guy hit that max win of x10.000 in a well known slot.We all congratulated him and he send to us generous tips because his bet was really big and he won a lot of money.

This example to say that no matter how big someone wins there will be 99 others losing which would consist of the casino getting profit and as such the casino, the reputable one can never go bankrupt from such things.

That is actually a good point and acts a catalyst to my previous post. The casino sites make sure of this that their bankroll is always in positive.
As you said, when there's one person winning there are 99 others who are losing which eventually makes the casino site in profits.
So basically the casino cannot go bankrupt because of a single person winning big.
Yep that's right. The house will always win since there's a house edge that will help thwm win over the gamblers. One reason I know why caaino go bankrupt is having no traffic or slowly perishing gamblers in their casino. New casino are prominent to this given that a casino will pay for it's maintenance, workers and other things such as promotions. If they can't make gamblers play at their casino, they will surely slowly get bankrup as the income of thw casino can't cope with the maintenance of the casino.
656  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling experience using loan money on: August 02, 2023, 03:05:38 PM
I saw many high rank users here that asking for loan and directly deposit the loan amount on gambling account. I want to know what's the experience on using loan money. Is there additional pressure on gameplay or just the same using regular money without an interest rate.
For me to make loans and use them for gambling, even though the bet has an above average 90% chance, for me it is the worst action and has a high risk, I often make loans but not for gambling, honestly I think loans for gambling are stupid, if I do.

I have been gambling for a long time, but I have never used borrowed money for this. No matter how great we are at gambling, the risk of loss cannot be predicted, for that I often use side money to gamble, so I haven't tried it and I don't have experience using loans for gambling. maybe i never used and crossed my mind to do it.
Same thoughts, it's a plain stupid move.I can compare it to people who take loans for their cryptocurrency investment which is similar to gambling if we talk about the risk. It should be a standard to use our own money that is dedicated for gambling than loaning to just play gambling. I hate people who sells things, borrow money or spend the money allocated to an important thing just to so gambling even with the intention of playing safe to multiply the money. I'm sure many gamblers had experience this and I don't want new gamblers to experience the regret that other gamblers experienced.
657  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Healthy mindset to save earnings from gambling on: August 02, 2023, 02:10:09 PM
To gamble directly at the casino or with friends, I choose to play until the end regardless of whether I win or lose, because besides money, what I'm looking for is fun. If you resign from the game because you have won, I think that's a bad thing that gamblers do, especially if you play gambling with your friends. Because it will be a negative view for you that makes other people reluctant to play with you again. And in my opinion this is something that gambling players need to avoid apart from being a negative view of other people towards you but this can also become a dispute that ends in a fight.

Meanwhile, for online gambling, if I win, I will immediately finish the game and withdraw all the results I get. Unless I get a win but I want to continue playing, what I do is withdraw the initial capital and continue playing from the money generated from the win.
We all have different prioirities in gambling and others main priority is to gain profit even if they don't prioritize competitiveness while others like you made it for fun. Personally, I'm the same. I'm willing to play until the end even if I lose. I remember before that me and my friends are all competitve on playing poker. No one quit until they are eliminated. Honestly, those day were super fun that we all try to wipe each orhers and no hard feelings attached.
658  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A weird belief among some gamblers. on: August 01, 2023, 05:16:14 PM
It's not true. In online sports bookies, many gamblers do share their parlays in the chat place. That means anyone could tail it. I actually did it once provided by a VIP platinum member and the odds totaled by x4.00 - 4.99, if my memory serves me right. It won and I thank him, he replied back with "no problem" and then I was shocked many gamblers did thank him too. That means the superstitious curse that you are telling is not true. This is also the first time I heard of that belief.
I don't have anything like that kind of superstition when it comes to sports betting but I know a lot when it comes to casino games. Well, maybe whoever said that before his bet was duplicated must not want his picks to be shared and that's the only reason I can think of because I don't think it's real or true.
People are just more open in their bets since nothing will really change logically if he shares his bet choice to some people that excludes high rollers. People believe in this kind of superstition but we can't blame them because it is their life. Imagine those people who actively share their bets in this forum. Did they actually lose all their bets because of sharing and catching the bad luck? No, they really helped many gamblers here who are finding other insights about the fights.
659  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Collective bets in local lotteries on: August 01, 2023, 04:16:32 PM
Would like to know your takes on betting as a group to raise chances in local
Lotteries

I know that mathematically the chances are still really low even if you multiply it 100x but in Brazil at least we’ve seen some local lottery prizes given for small groups of 20 or 30 people betting betting with 5000x tickets let’s say

If dreaming alone is cool dreaming in groups can be even better
The odds are still low even you bet as a group. You can increase the chance of you winning but I don't think that you can win it by just few tries, it can even last you and your people months without seeing a good results. Additional to that is the hassle that a you will experience in targetting that kind of lottery tickets per day. It would be a disaster filling up the tickets with your details in it. I don't know if someone made this kind of strategy to win on a local lottery.
660  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gamble! Easy or Hard? Let's talk. on: August 01, 2023, 02:45:19 PM
It's difficult, so I decided to only stop if I won a large sum, and if I can keep myself occupied with other things, particularly in digital marketing, maybe I'll quit for good and simply focus more on meaningful things. For the time being, I'm attempting to emulate my former self. I'll stop when I hit a specific amount of loss per day that I can no longer sustain. Maybe the constant defeat fuels my desire/greed to win even more.

Large amount of winning are too hard to say that you can quit gambling in easily as we all know that once we hit the jackpot and have a 3 or more successive win then for sure our readiness will take over and we can not control our self to stop gambling immediately because all we thing is we can win again and again without knowing that the more we bet the more we loss. So it's too hard to quit gambling all we need is self discipline and control in order to prevent addiction.

In interviews, many gamblers who have problems with the game admit that they really regret that at the beginning of the game path and were very lucky with the bet. And they won a large sum, multiplying the deposit several times.
The paradox is that they are not happy that this happened. Because from that moment of winning, they had a feeling that they had never experienced before. This is the feeling that they have earned a lot of money very easily, while asserting themselves.
After all, at such a moment, when your express has played and won, you will begin to consider yourself a damn genius. Like all people are idiots, but only you own the analysis, and you can ruin a casino or a bookmaker.
Of course, if you are an addicting and start regretting your actions. You will blame someone or something and in this case, it's the luck that had made you win on a casino that made you secrete endorphins that made you want to do gamble again since you find comfort in doing it. We all have different gambling routes and instantly being addicted to it is surely hard and will make you regret sooner or later.
