Doubtful. A pump is not an indication of a coins success or age. A pump is a controlled coordinated attempt to suck money out of people by rapidly raising a price and having greedy people jump on the train hoping to get a profit along the way. There are few non hyper inflated pos coins around. Netcoins strength is the low cpu stake and forget wallet with rewards each 6 hours. No real competing on block sizes etc. What it needs is more integration in websites and word of mouth from users. Its @18 satoshi on bittrex now but in its past days was in the 200's.. spiked to 600 in silly pumps. I hope it returns to 100 sat but cannot promise it. It could go to 0 just as likely. However at the current price range with its stake mechanism its a fun coin thats easy to buy in batches that a site could use in their services to drive a money economy. Something to think about for people looking to use it. |

I hope you have all updated to the new wallet guys, we still have plenty of time left though, and just to let you know I have updated the wallet with the windows netcoind and I have built both with the latest ssl 1.0.1i, so you may like to update again, it's not mandatory though. But I would advise it for your own peace of mind...
New wallet is operating normally. Synchronization passed fairly quickly. PoS works okay too. The only thing that is not happy is the price at Netcoin. Only thing that will fix that (price) is use cases or spreading the word for more users. Everyone can do that |

That is not even the problem. The problem is that even when it was working the servers were dead (you can look at the server activity it's very low) there is never anyone online to play with/against so we must play against bots for a tiny reward of a couple thousand satoshi or something.... That just isn't going to work. They need to change the way their structure works or something because it was ment to be a coin people play on the servers and get them as a bonus. That is not happening though. The coin is not performing as it should. The coin is performing.... the player amount isn't there. It is not DGB the currencies issue to get gamers. The group that maintains dgb gaming provides a service for users. If the users feel there aren't enough users they don't blame the service. They should try to spread the word to their friends. Remember the service doesn't make money it distributes donated dgb to the players. Its not a player right its simply a service to increase awareness and use should users choose to do this. How many people have you got using the dgbgaming service regularly? Its a cascading model if 1 user introduces 2 people and those 2 add 2 more each you will find there won't be bot play. Also the rewards aren't a way to make an income.. they provide and trivial silly small amount to introduce people to its use.. its not a MONEY EARNER. Its a proof of concept to utilising the currency in a gaming environment. If the coin gets adopted more though its not unrealistic to see a 500btc volume in a day so i wouldn't worry that much. The buy and see side seems healthy and its got a consistent trade volume on polo daily. Im sure it'll jump at some point but i do see a lot of movement between 50-60 sat for a while. |

Thing is: No one on 2.3.1 has any idea what's going on unless by Chance they visit the Website. There is a lot of 2.3.1 out there and this not going to turn out good... Why no message like other coins have? I think only a few coins like litecoin etc say version out of date. In crypto most people assume they follow the coin homepages. This could be done better but im not sure its a responsibility of the dev. Since communities are small most talk to their fellow users. Join the netcoin forum and recommend it as a change for future wallets to this problem? my wallet now has 29 connections. To the person with 4 before do you only have addnodes in your config and not connect=? connect makes it connect only to those. |

Sorry i did have it reversed. It wouldn't help sprouts though as there is no buy side. It would also be manipulatable as you could just say i'll buy 210 trillion of the coin at 1 sat and have that as a buy order. It'll be a huge btc amount but if the coins volume is low and normal buys at 100 sat it'll be a fake buy wall that will never get hit and ensure a coin never delists.
The only true metric is volume as the exchange makes some money from keeping a coin listed. They are in business to make money so it makes sense.
volume is problematic because they use a 7 or 14 day average and all financial markets usually slow down seasonally. I don't intend on using Bittrex any time soon after they delist sprouts. Is that because they delisted sprouts? Its a shallow view as a trader to take that because an exchange delisted a shitcoin i'll pout like a child. Seriously would you do the same if polo had it and delisted? Also as per the good job everyone i think you should rethink statements like that. If you sold for a profit you'd be happy. Unfortunately you thought sprouts would go longer but it didn't it sucks that you didn't make a profit higher but lets look at it. Its a shit coin and honestly no sane person would expect it to go mainstream. If everyone stopped doing icos on shit coins or just didn't mine 1 sat coins we'd be fine. This is quite bizarre turn of events,why would a hacker even want to return part of the money he stole?Since the price of Bitcoin grows hacker is making more money and with all this profit he can live for life.
I also think that this is inside job,maybe some of their employees decided earlier to retire,and it's pretty foolish to expect the return of any part of the funds.
I hope some new hack not happen again,we all know how such events affects Bitcoin.
What if fbi investigations etc show this. They try to recover funds to remove that . Honestly tokens are shit they lost 72m they owe 72m. They also owe lost price increases in time they cant return. |
