661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy more ETH..... on: August 01, 2023, 02:12:02 PM
Have bought some ETH last week but i don't know if there will be another progress in the next couple of months but i am not in a hurry because I know that this will take long before making it there or at least next year before it ends again.
Just use it as long term investment. Ethereum gonna be very valuable asset in the future. Bitcoin is as good as ethereum too. You can rely on bitcoin pump that may come in the future.

The crypto cycle will always be coming soon. Ethereum is good for long term hold. You can try to bet on the bitcoin pump.

Buying it now is not bad too caused by it's still very far from its ATH.
Ethereum for me would be the safest choice if you are choosing on altcoins. It has a very big community and their blockchain are being used by so many projects and I don't see a reason how will ethereum lose it's value in the future. Unless they have a major problem, it's given that their price will fall but with under no circumstances, I believe that Ethereum will continue to thrive. I don't think ethereum will be gone anytime soon.
662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Layerzero Speculation airdrop on: July 31, 2023, 06:10:29 PM
It's not really because Bryan Pellegrino isn't bothered by it, it's because they don't really have a choice.  These things will always get gamed, so their move is either go on with the airdrop, look the other way and say they're not bothered with it or cancel the airdrop and do something like what SUI did.  The latter would def be frowned on by the community.  Esp the ones who already done their fair share of sweat equity in using the protocol.  Lol.

To date, there are 2.7 million addresses in LayerZero, which far exceeds the number of addresses that have received airdrop from Arbitrum. Thus, the team will definitely face a dilemma: pay a small amount of coins to each address or reduce the number of addresses by introducing stricter criteria for receiving airdrop.

I think the latter is the better option imho.  I mean they have to as not doing it would like give more possbility to still be airdropping some amounts of tokens to just one guy who botted the airdrop with multiple wallets.  And there's also a better chance to reduce the tokens ending up with the botters than having the honest users missing out on the airdrop.  But again, IMHO.

Where'd you get the info that there's 2.7 million eligible addresses?
Even with complex rules in airdrop projects, abusers still finds a way to exploits projects and profit from it. Real people are the one who are suffering given that the reward pool of projects are being reduced as joiners exceeds. I wonder how much abusers made from the easy airdrop like akhram when so many people missed their chance on getting their probable airdrop tokens because they missed some requirements. 2.7 million addresses are so mamy that it's obviously botted or abused.
663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about iris scanner scenario in worldcoin network? on: July 31, 2023, 04:22:13 PM
I don't think iris alone can be used for any scientific research, other data like blood type, blood sugar level, weight, age, etc must accompany it. So it's basically only harvesting biometrics to allocate coins so no alts/fake accounts can get it, only the real human ones. At least that is what people in the 3rd world think since here iris recognition isn't widely used yet. It becomes scary if we think that iris recognition will be widely used in the future for identity, then they basically give up their identity to be faked by a bad actor.

Even if they don't have malicious intent, storing this sensitive data is troublesome, one security breach and your data will be on the black market. So yeah, this project will invite lawsuits and legal cases.

About $70-80, well, I know some people will give their KYC for an amount smaller than that.
Sooner or later, I believe that this kind of biometrics can be faked too. Maybe sooner, we can see our phone that will use iris scanners and will implement it as a security feature. Imagine those homeless people who are being offered to do KYC, I'm positive that they will sell their iris biometrics to people. Their identity isn't their priority. Their priority is to survive that's why.
664  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: July 31, 2023, 03:47:49 PM
Every casino always has a good marketing team, so don't be surprised if the success of the casino comes from their marketing team which can finally make them famous and big every year, besides that, if you look at each casino, of course it might offer different promotions every year, and of course seeing from the many requests of its users so that it can be easier for casinos to provide the right and true promotions that users want.

All casinos will definitely provide promotions for all their users and even that will continue because of bonus competition on this forum, so far Duelbits is still a trusted site on this forum too, so we'd better wait and see what they will do at the end year for the next promotion. there is no harm in waiting for information from them in this thread.
Without marketing, the rest are not really that much of a different situation if you ask me, doesn't really feel like it would be something crazy to do. I know that it is going to take some time and all, but most casinos are just some software at the bare bottom, we can all have one, it is really nothing that difficult to build.

What takes time is the marketing department, because if all of us can have a casino built in a day or two, even if a week, then what makes these casinos succeed? Well, that part is the marketing one, and you can't just start one day and be good next day, it takes time, dedication, effort, and also a chance to grow as well. That's what we are going to end up doing if it is possible and profit from it.
True. If there are no marketing whatsoever. New casino will have the higher chance to fail givem that gamblers will only play on an established casino as they have the reputation to pay and people will not risk to something new unless they can bet something from it which we are calling promotions. Imagine that even trusted and reputated casino are still doing aggressive marketing because they know that the casino industry is steep and without doing any promotion can easily make them irrelevant.
665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High gas fee for sending token is still a problem on: July 30, 2023, 06:14:38 PM
Yesterday, when I was sending one of the coins from my trust wallet to Mexc exchange, which was in the ERC-20 chain, took me around 8$ just to send, which is so huge. But I have noticed one thing, happen to me. Whenever I send something at night in the ERC-20 chain it cost me high as compared to sending at day time.
Gas fee flactuates depending on the activity of the blockchain, it is applicable to major blockchains in crypto. A high gas fee is because of network congestions. Being on a night or day doesn't matter since on gas prices since transactions are always active. A massive number of people transacting on a single time frame can increase the gas fee. One example of this is when there's a obvious movement on the market where people are rushing to make a transaction to either make a profit or save themselves from losing a capital.

To be honest if baguham din ko sa isang bagay at nag hahanap ako ng information is sa youtube ako pupunta because I like video presentes knowledge. Though hindi ito applicable sa lahat especially sa crypto. Learning crypto sa youtube is a great start pero if maghahanap ka ng potential coins aa youtube is I don't think a good move.
667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Analyzing XRP's Potential: Can It Reach $1? on: July 30, 2023, 05:27:47 PM

Following Ripple's legal victory against the U.S. SEC, XRP's price nearly doubled. XRP has the potential to challenge the crucial $1 level in the upcoming days.
🔥However, the current outlook suggests limited strength in sustaining its rally further.
🔥If XRP successfully breach the $1 barrier, a potential target for September could hover around $1.35
I believe that if they win their law suit, they would easily achieve that's price knowing that beating SEC is a big deal and they are fighting their case for a long time now. They did achieved higher price before and reaching it again is possible especially if they timed their win during the bull market. In short term, there's a possibility if they win again on a portion of their law suit. You see, their SEC law suit can dictate their potential price in the future and winning it is very crucial for them.
668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A weird belief among some gamblers. on: July 30, 2023, 03:46:57 PM
There's this scene I witnessed today at a local sport betting house  and I found it very funny and unbelievably true at same time. A certain young man after making his predictions placed his bet and his betting slip was printed to him then another gambler in the house approached him and asked to make a rebet of his games for himself but I was shocked when the young man refused with the excuse that he doesn't share his predictions that sharing it will make him lose his bet. More like having his luck to win reduce or changed maybe because the person he shared his games with could be someone with a bad luck on that day.

Although I have heard of behaviors like this with some gamblers  but I never believe it not until I witnessed it myself today and it was weird to me imagining how you will get to lose your bet by allowing someone else rebet it. In all my years of gambling I believe that a game prediction that will play as predicted will definitely play not regarding the number of people that bet on same prediction.

So why this belief or do you think it could be true? Or is it one of those superstitious belief among gamblers?
Do you feel cool sharing your predictions with other people and how has the outcome been looking at all the times you have shared your predictions with others?
I personally don't believe such superstition especially on gambling. There's no way that a bad luck can be passed to you by letting someone copy your bet. Allowing others to copy you can affect the profit that you can take on rare cases like your bet being copied by a high roller that can adjust the odds by the amount of his bet. These supersition is common on physical casino. One example is coming to a casino with a girl, I believe that this is common even on movies, we can see this as they treat the girl to be their lucky charm. Though I still don't believe such superstition.

Yes, that is a duping ad in my opinion, they just want us to try it on their platform, a lot like that on social media, but I have never tried it because I know that it does not work as a trick to get victory, if it's true it is a trick, There was no way they could grow it to public media.

That makes more sense, usually people who have a strategy or trick to win the game then they will use it for themselves, because they think if it works and many people use it, the casino will detect something odd, because after all they will be smarter to arrange who will win the next game. Moreover, this is gambling, some of my friends also only tell their losses and when they win they will be silent because they are afraid that other friends will ask for their winnings, even though, it is just a bad attitude towards their friends. Lol
Yes, you are absolutely right, if someone has that trick, of course he will play for himself and certainly will not let other people know the method he uses to get victory because the effect will be bad if he is caught having that kind of trick, the logic can be taken from here, and to this day I have never gotten that trick, because it is a trick, and I have also heard former casino owners in Thailand, that there is no way to trick their machines to get a win, it is clear that it was done by the owner of the casino system itself to provide winnings to its customers.
Usually these kinds of tricks are being sold on a very high price that's why only few people knows secret tricks and they themselves are trying to be absolutely careful not to detect by a casino given that the payment or the discovery of the trick can lose it's effectiveness. There are a lot of creative and clever ways gamblers thinks, even if it's online or on a physical casino. I believe that even online casino's are being tricked right now by some kind of bug or a hack that abuses them without them noticing it. I'm just saying that it's possible knowing how much people like money and always ready to discover bugs and tricks to gain something from a casino.
671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who else uses move to earn apps for the same reasons I do? on: July 29, 2023, 04:54:07 PM
Hey there, fellow adventurers! Who else is bouncing around with a spring in their step, thanks to a groovy move-to-earn app on their mobile? This is me! I jumped on the GazaGO platform, an M2E creation by Staika, to chase some serious moola knowing quite well that walking isn't my passion but hey, cash flow is king! This all started out with a simple  notification about $STIK coming to Bitget by the 31st, I got interested and ended up signing up for GazaGO. Now I'm pounding the pavement, running errands like a champ and having a blast. Come on, let's hear it! Am I the only one on this wacky and wonderful adventure? 😆
I believe that Move to earn concept was introduced last year but the interest of the market quickly shifted on other trend. It's a new concept and I don't know how it will perform in the future since I don't have idea how this concept works. I believe it's just a play to earn concept that you can earn a token as a reward on things that you achieve by performing the task. Maybe in the future, the market will realize the concept of it.

I do engage in P2E projects too. Staika also got a play to earn project DefenGO. Point is I saw that the STIK token would be listed on Bitget that was what prompted me to even look at the Staika project and boom 💥 I ended up signing up on all the earning products. I haven't really given much thought to which earns better tho. Point is I am doing it all for the little earnings 😅😅 do you get it?
I don't think being listed on a exchange that is not known is not relevant. It's just like being listed on an decentralized exchange because new exchange are trying to get as much customer as they can that's why they are not strict on listing tokens. I got your point and yeah it's like you are earning in play to earn games with micro earnings. I'm still unsure of it's future though but yeah we all have our own bias. If this move to earn concept blooms, I guess I'll regret this as I don't have plan to put my money into it.
672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gamble! Easy or Hard? Let's talk. on: July 29, 2023, 04:24:59 PM
I don't know why but I feel for some personal reasons people don't actually quit gambling for good, I feel they just take a break from it well if am wrong for everyone then for myself that's what I actually do because anything I feel I have gambled more than expected I actually pause for sometime and let go so I won't get affected emotionally and mentally.

I think some do, but it depends. You know, some people do experience some kind of issue at work or with their family because of their gambling habits, and those kinds of situations really do make them have no better choice than to just quit gambling entirely. Like a friend of mine who has decided not to be gambling because of his girlfriend, I asked him one day, Since he is no longer gambling, what if he is no longer in a relationship with the girl?, and he said, "Until then, but for a long time now, the guy has just stopped gambling, and if it happens that he gets married to the girl, then he probably has stopped gambling for life.
If something affects you negatively or on your day to day life, quitting is a no brainer but just like other things just like dr*gs, it's hard to quit because there are addiction and some things that push you to do it. There are people who thinks that these addiction is their escape to the reality temporarily, being happy doing gambling and experiencing the rush or adrenaline to dodge their true situation. Thus this affects them negatively more than they realize.

674  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: July 29, 2023, 03:07:10 PM
To this day I wonder whether he decided to edit the Wikipedia page by his own or he was instructed to do so by other people in a higher position. Because to me, it does not sound normal some participant of a signature campaign would be willing to go out their way to defend the casino they promote, in such specific way.
I think they promised him some extra incentive or something if he finished that task successfully since I don't think he was a devoted follower of 1xbit based on what I observed though I could be wrong.

Anyways, I knew he got banned, which is quite rare considering the policies of this forum and they way so many scammers are left to roam around.
As I mentioned in my previous post, he got banned by breaking one or more forum rules(Not because he advertised 1xbit).

It still sounds weird to me a casino which already has a bad reputation decided to pay for something which could not help their reputation at any meaningful way and even giving the task to someone else, when editing a Wiki page is something anyone can do with an account (assuming the page does not have any kind of protection, though).

I was aware they cannot be banned for promoting anything, by the way.
This may be one of the most opened forums when comes to freedom of speech.
It's hard to see the perspective of 1xbit marketing team as they are obviously doing the opposite. They are trying to improve their reputation in this forum despite that everyone knows that they are totally a scam casino. It would be easier to just rebrand and focus on doing legit things rather than spending their money on worthless advertisement. A negative publicity isn't as effective as on other industry where negative publicity is still publicity.

676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People with quick rich attitude always mess up with alt coins on: July 28, 2023, 02:11:12 PM
I agree with you OP, think twice before investing in any particular altcoins will really help you to go a long way to be a successful investors that will remain in profits making without experience any losses from his or her altcoins investment. Since I started exercise patience to watch the price of altcoins very well before I buy and hold, it has been helping me to grow financially and materially in my investment because it is difficult for me to invest in a coins that will not bring good results at the end of the investment. Now that the price of altcoins is still waving in the market, it will be a good thing to invest in a potential altcoins that will put smile on your face when the price increase higher soon.

There are many altcoins in the cryptocurency market that can put a smile on your face, For so long Altcoins has been putting smiles on people faces as it has been giving people profits and also altcoins has been making people go broke. Everything depends on how lucky you're with your investment choices because the same altcoins that put a smile on your face can make another person to cry.
Example, Luna and Solana made many people millions in 2021 and also took that million from others in 2022 when it crashed and Solana dumped due to the impact from the FTX collapse. Before investing into any altcoins, do your research properly because some altcoins are just a death trap waiting for who is dumb enough to invest into to, don't invest because if hype do some research.
You can only know that an altcoins is a bad investment when you do your research, you look at the teams behind the project, the community to know if it's full of just moon boys, people that are paid to shill the project in their telegram group and on social media. You also look at the road map and tokenomics of the project, if something doesn't look right then the project is a scam.
It's simply how the market works. Negative news can provide downtrend charts and positive news can result to an uptrend. With the things that happened on LUNA and FTX are major signs of bear market. You might think it's a death trap but majority of the altcoins during the bear market really falls heavily as we see from the recent altcoins on the bear market. Somehow we can predict where do an altcoin value can go depending on the season and no matter how good that project are. One factor that made altcoin good is the possible large profit you can get from it when the bull season arrives. There are so many altcoins that has a potential in the market, we just need to find and acquire those by doing proper research.
677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Durning bull market we will received many good bounty? on: July 28, 2023, 01:42:45 PM
Legit bounties really don't care about bull or bear market. They just launch their project, work hard for it and make it successful. Last bull run was in 2021 but within this 2years, there are lots of legit project who gained successful while bear market is still underway. So You can still find some good bounties on bounty sector. But i agree that, during bull session, successful bounty ratio will be increased because investors start investing more money that time even on shitcoins project to earn more money and so we receive many good bounties while bull run than bear market
That was before but developers got their idea that it was easier for them to earn a profit from launching it during the bull season. If you have noticed, there are a lot of new projects appearing during the bull season, and whether they are legit or not, it will tell us that there is a different experience compared to during the bear season. Of course, if I was a developer, I would take that opportunity as well because it was the time that we can expect a massive increase in investors which is our target.
Yep that's right. I've saw so many projects that appeared during the bull market but never survived the bear market and just disappear. From the experience I have on bull markets, investing on projects that had made during the bull market most likely won't have a relevance in the future given that those projects are align with the trend and those trend can expire and change by other trends. Easy reason why developers choose to make a project during bull market is money of course. A simple money machine you can make during bull market is a project is on the trend and has a strong marketing strategy. Easy money.
678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you find new meme coins early? on: July 28, 2023, 01:05:06 PM
I'm a certified meme coin hunter, and my radar is always on the lookout for those hidden gems that might become the next Pepe. Speaking of which, I remember stumbling upon Pepe on Twitter when the buzz and sentiment were off the charts, and I just couldn't resist aping in, and it paid off!

Twitter is just one of the treasure troves, but there are plenty of other ways to spot those potential success stories. So, my fellow crypto meme seekers, I want to hear your strategies. How do you go about discovering those up-and-coming meme coins before they skyrocket? Care to share your secret sauce?
Not really interested in that meme coins. Meme coins is just about the chance of making you rich and only driven the hope of being a protagonist on a success story. Meme coin hype is slowly degrading and I don't think people (masses) has still guts to invest on meme coin given t hat a lot of  newbies are always on a loss on these meme coins. Meme coin really attracts newbies because on how high the possible return that can go back to you but the risk is the same and newbies don't really realize it. I'm not bashing you OP. It's just my thoughts about meme coins.
679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Success or Fail? - Talking about Gambling as a major income on: July 28, 2023, 12:21:11 PM
If we decide so, we can close this discussion with the result that gambling can be the major income. The question will be only about gamblers. But there are professional players that get money from casinos for marketing - they will looks like the streamers i think.
But even without money from the casino, there are some gamblers that get money in the various tournaments. For them gambling is the major income to. So the question is only about common gambler. But this gambler mostly gambling for fun and don`t cares about serious income from gambling.
It is just like you are deviating by touching the diversity of gambling. What I meant is that according to you, if I earn by referring people to gamble with a particular company and that company pays me, it means I earned from gambling.
Also if I make gambling tips for people and they buy it and I earn from it, it also means that I am earning from gambling.
If this is true, it means people can make gambling their career.
Yes, it is. They can not gamble, but get profit from the gambling. And their income from such activities can may be much more than from gambling.
Anyway i know several men who gets the main income from gambling and have no other job. Even i got good enough income from gambling for several months. But the same time in my opinion it would be better to have a job and get some profit and some fun from gambling.
It's is just so risky that the people you know is just mainly earning from doing gambling. As we all know it's not an assured income and the possible money we can get from a casino is uncertain. It's risky but I guess that the people you know is doing good because they have survive several months by just getting their money from a casino. It's hard to maintain it forever even how careful you are. Securing a job or a business  is the idea path for majority of us.

On their case, They leave the forum after having an issue here with one of the forum member.

It is true that no one can force a representative of a casino to keep posting here on the forum, but we have to ask ourselves the following question: what is the point of a person going to a forum to create an ann thread to publicize a casio and then that person to vanish? if the person knew that he wouldn't have time to answer people's questions in this forum then why did he create the thread? when we look at things that way, we can easily see that it makes no sense for someone to create a thread in a forum and then not enter that forum, in the real world people have options such as: getting in touch with companies through the company's website, through the phone numbers of the companies, through the social networks of the companies

Although my comment is not directly related to your statement. I agree on your logic about how we view casino representative leaving the discussion part of the forum. I think some casino use only the forum to create their ANN thread as promotion thread without taking in consideration the discussion.

Casino like Owl and Betfury are both decided to leave the forum ANN thread as place for communicating to the team instead they focus on their main website chat for the communication which leaves us a complete disadvantage when it comes to issue since there’s no public trial involve.
That's mostly the case on every other casino that has an ANN thread in this forum. Majority of them are just being active on the first page of their ANN thread and disappear. I noticed that most  forum representative are just being active whenever there are problems like scam accusations and new updates on their casino. This is not applicable to all since there are casino representative who are really active in this forum. It's lucky for casinos who are inactive to still have engagement from the forum members even if they are inactive in this forum.
