681  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Kick Every Other Paper Money Out of Business? on: September 05, 2017, 01:34:05 PM
I do not think it will ever be. There are uses of paper money that bitcoin cannot cover and there are good uses of bitcoin that paper money cannot cover. They are meant to co-exist, not out-do each other.
682  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning enough with Bitcoin without Job ? on: September 05, 2017, 12:44:34 AM
I was just wondering that is it possible to earn steady income without going 8-5 hours regular office job.. I mean you got some bitcoin in your wallet .. are you the enough for living ?

another option is to regularly working on Bitcoin related trading/activites .. that earn you enough amt of monthly income ..

what's your opinion

Note: this is not for poor fellow who just discovered bitcoin or altcoins

It depends on what are you going to do with your bitcoin? Is it for business or trading? You can earn a lot with those activities but the time you will be spending on it might be the same as office hours, maybe more because it is your own business.
683  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Increasing Very Fast! on: September 04, 2017, 06:40:23 PM
Unfortunately it is dropping quickly as well right now. We do not know the exact reason why it is dropping, maybe it is just a very deep correction or maybe the effect of china again or whales cashing out. What I see is that 6K price will be delayed. Maybe by next year we can see it but not before that.
684  Economy / Economics / Re: Being a Smart Person or Strategic on: September 04, 2017, 06:05:49 PM
There are different types of smart or intelligence and you cannot have them all. There are logical, spatial or people smart. There can be more types. Luckily you can develop them. So if you are slow in financial intelligence, you can just develop it and be good at it. I prefer to have people, logical and financial smarts or intelligence.
685  Economy / Speculation / Re: Made a buy order for $475 for 1 bitcoin on: September 04, 2017, 03:15:27 PM
If you really believe on the points you mentioned, then why do you still have to buy bitcoin? IT seems the points you said will mean the end of bitcoin. You should be shorting bitcoin now so you can make profit in your prediction.
686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Coins you are going to buy? on: September 04, 2017, 11:32:26 AM
I stay with the normal coins I always buy if I have extra funds: Xem, Btc, Eth, And maybe some waves because I am starting to see the potential. I focus on these coins and hope they turn big in the next 5 years.
687  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Can be $5,000 Again? on: September 04, 2017, 11:21:46 AM
As long as there is no established support on a higher level like 4700 and above, it can be considered as a momentary spike and did not broken the resistance at all. It can still test that level in the near future though. but now the price is still going down,  so it may take more time before it goes to that level again.
688  Economy / Economics / Re: I want to invest 1000 USD into crypto on: September 04, 2017, 08:09:40 AM
Mining is expensive and you cannot find a cloud mining that is not going to be a scam. Your best bet for a small amount like that is go for altcoins and bitcoins. And if you know how to do trading, that is a good option as well.
689  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and governments on: September 03, 2017, 03:46:37 PM
Some countries are already regulating the use of bitcoin, that is a start. Bitcoin is still very young, and it is still a long way before countries start legalizing bitcoin but it can happen.
690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Classic: what's happening??? on: September 01, 2017, 02:55:27 PM
Wow, it is spiking. I do not know this will happen, I missed the profit on this one. I do not know any valid reason why this is happening, cannot find any news about it either. Is it just random wealthy guy pumping this coin?
691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your top "must have" coins? on: September 01, 2017, 02:15:01 PM
Waves are making waves right now, and I think is a good long term investment in additiin to the regulars, eth, bitcoin. You can add some coins in the top of coinmarketcap. They are in the top for a reason maybe except for bch. It is too young.
692  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bank Interest VS Bitcoin profits on: August 31, 2017, 06:51:46 PM
Banks can only offer you 3-5% percent of your deposit while in bitcoins there's no limit of the percent of you can earn from stocking them in your bitcoin wallet
Not sure where you are located to have banks offer you such high interest rates, but there is a difference when it comes to generating interest and storing your coins in your wallet.

The interest you generate from banks will be stacked up on top of your initial savings deposit, while if you store/hodl Bitcoin for whatever time period, you don't actually gain anything until you start cashing them out.

In that exact same way, if the price happens to go down, you also won't lose anything until you cash out. Till that time, everything you 'lose' or 'gain' will be nothing more than a result on paper, and thus not effective.

It is true that what you gain in hodling bitcoin is paper value but it is still a upper hand than just relying on what interest the banks give you on your deposit amount. Banks do not give interest higher than inflation rate, so you actually lose value of money over time. While bitcoin gives above inflation rate interest. Though it is paper value, you can choose to cash out interest anytime you wanted.
693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: On Which device do you Gamble? on: August 31, 2017, 06:32:47 PM
If it is a casino game, then I use desktop for better gaming experience. If I have to book a bet for sports betting, it does not matter if I use mobile or desktop. But mostly I use mobile for booking because it is handy and I can place my bets anywhere I am.
694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: August 31, 2017, 06:08:53 PM

Nice video. So much development in a very short period of time. The devs deserve a pat on their back for working very hard. This is why I keep on investing on nem, it have good and dedicated developers.
695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty campaign on: August 31, 2017, 03:39:24 PM
Why do you ask? Do you want to join altcoin bounty? Just look into bounty section, it is pretty profitable. I am in a lot of social media bounties. there is no limit in rank in joining any bounty, only signature bounty have limits on rank so you are free to join.
696  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you worried about the high Bitcoin price volatility at the moment? on: August 31, 2017, 03:25:36 PM
Volatility of bitcoin has been an issue ever since I have known it (2015) and I think it will still be even after a few more years. I stopped worrying about it and took it as an opportunity. It will be like this for a few more years so better be used to it. I hope it gets more stable but I do not mind the volatility anymore.
697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does the name of a Cryptocurrency determine its growth ? on: August 31, 2017, 02:36:08 PM
A lot of effort should be done in naming a crypto because it is the first thing you will present to investors and users. And there are really names that stick to everyone easily.  I guess if you have a good name, it also represents a good brand to some and make your crypto more popular. It is harder to market a crypto with a silly name.
698  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Bitcoin mining becomes illegal world wide? on: August 31, 2017, 02:18:59 PM
I do not think it will happen, the whole world uniting to stop bitcoin mining by making it illegal, they can't even stop fighting each other. But let's say it happens, it is really the end of bitcoin. Without miners, bitcoin will be stagnant, no tx will be confirmed.
699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which low priced coins? on: August 31, 2017, 12:10:01 PM
One good coin that is not getting too much attention is xem. It is well developed and have lots of projects right now but the devs  choose to be low key and avoid hypes. I am sure this coin will be big in the near future. Better get some while it is still cheap.
700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Cash prices surpassed Ethereum, which led to this surge on: August 31, 2017, 03:54:55 AM
How long will this fake pump last? Bch will not survive if it is only ver and company pumping it. It is hard to invest on something that you know is only surviving because of fake pump. Hard to be the bag holder in the end.
