702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is now a good time to buy BNB? on: July 27, 2023, 09:50:43 PM
It was always a wise to buy BNB, as it is one of the top altcoin. As Binance now has issues with SEC, if the things goes as XRP and SEC case, and Binance wins, it can easily gain 50% in price. And with an altcoin with such a huge market cap, that is a lot. Second having BNB and holding it on Binance exchange often give small bonuses, as crypto from participating in launchpads and launchpools.
Well, BNB is still a valuable coin despite the current situation that Binance had faced. Yes, we believe that the case will soon to solve but I'd never think it could be easy for it to recover 50%. I don't think about having that much but seeing it winning and showing inclines even if it was just only 10% was an indication that many people still have their faith and are willing to wait despite the case issue. I think Binance had also asking trust from us and keep supporting BNB but can't force everyone to do it.
703  Economy / Economics / Re: Agriculture can save your country from recession on: July 27, 2023, 09:27:44 PM
I don't understand how? Agriculture is the lowest when it comes to contribution to the GDP. Also it's not that productive based on the land as well. I mean the percentage yield which manufacturing or service could provide on the same land will be much more than farming. Also for farming to make money you need to have growth in demand of agro products which also I don't see happening anytime soon. So please care to explain how exactly economically this could happen?
It wasn't that much to see with you but look, people never survive without farming. And even we know that it only contributed less to our economy but this also plays some key roles in saving many people from recession. In fact, many countries are investing and putting much allocation on agriculture as they know that it helps a lot to them. Of course, those who have no areas to use It might not be appreciated by other countries, but for a country that has a huge land area, it can be considered as their great asset to grow their economy.
704  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: July 27, 2023, 10:54:56 AM
I am really surprised to see so many people voting for Francis Ngannou to win in this pool, it is 16-14 for Tyson Fury right now, much better odds than with bookmakers.
Question for all this guys who think Ngannou will win in this fight is are they ready place some money to back this up Wink
I dont know where Ngannou is now but his last statement is that Fury is underestimating his boxing skills.
Meanwhile Tyson Fury is now in Phuket, Thailand preparing for this fight: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YDgA5a4_XMQ

True, many of us here chose Ngannou to win, despite him not being a boxing champion. Fury is the most popular in the heavyweight division now, and since they are boxing, it's more likely that Fury will win. As far as I remember, I have not seen a boxing champion lose to a UFC fighter in a match. Even Mayweather, who has already retired and only participates in exhibition fights, still wins because it's boxing.
705  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title on: July 27, 2023, 10:09:21 AM
@Kelvinid. Those are very accurate odds after the performance we have witnessed from Inoue against Fulton, I reckon. I have become convinced on the Japanese fighter. Inoue is like the young Pacman but with more knockout power in his hands.
I agree, he might not reach 8 division title as Pacman, but the way he is destroying everything that in his path, it's like Pacman when he was in the beginning of his career specially at lower weights. And Inoue can make another history, for Japan and then having won the unified title in bantamweight and super bantamweight in the 4 belt era.

However, he will be the first boxer in the history of the sport to be a unified champion in 2 weight divisions if he is victorious against Marlon Tapales. After this, it might be 3 unified championships if he again moves up to featherweight. Who are the big names there? I reckon all of the featherweight champions can be beaten by Inoue.

There's no Featherweight champion that can match Inoue's power there's this thing circulating in social media on Fan Page boxing page, that matches Inoue to Tank Davis, only 13 lbs set them apart, they have the same reach and they have the same height, they can go for it in a catchweight, it will be a huge attraction both fighters have speed, power, skill, and charisma, I'm sure some promoters are thinking to match these two great warriors in the ring.

Definitely, this will attract a lot of fans, but I doubt Bob would risk Inoue for Davis because he could possibly experience his first loss. There are still more fights that Inoue could dominate, so why risk it for Davis when there's a chance he will lose his popularity after a loss?

Maybe he will start by unifying the belts with Tapales, and let's see what his decision will be next.
706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trade altcoins during the bull run or just hodl? on: July 26, 2023, 09:45:50 PM
Next year will be my first bull run and have just been thinking about what will be best to do when it finally arrives next year.

Do you plan on just holding till an amount you are happy with or is it a good idea to try and trade altcoins whilst they are pumping to earn even more?
In my opinion, when facing your first bull run in the coming year, holding a crypto asset you are passionate about can be a stable and potentially profitable long-term strategy. In this case, you will maintain your position on altcoins that you believe have good prospects and long-term growth potential.

If you believe and you are really trusting the project, long-term wise it can maximize the benefits. It's tough to play with the
project when there's a market movement, you can be trap and be stuck.

But also, if you in a long-term hold you need to fully understand the risk and the consequences, there are many available options
with strong potentials, it's up to your good judgement to buy and hold.
This will imply the importance of choosing the right coins to hold long-term if we are aiming to hold otherwise, we just sell them a few days after buying.
I have an experience of buying cheap coins many years ago but sadly, even the last bull season I'd never see it pump and it only stuck in my wallet. And I see this is the reason from now wise of choosing altcoins and I don't invest in cheap coins anymore thinking that it happen to me again.
- whether we are holding or trading, we must have to look for an opportunity that we think we can earn a profit. If you are good at trading then go for it but if not, then just hold and sell the right time.

707  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade with caution on: July 26, 2023, 09:02:16 PM
Learning is constant in trading. Educate yourself continuously and learn from every mistake you gained from trading, that way you will surely grow and progress in your trading career. Also, know that every trader has its own fair share of losses and as long as you never end up quitting and continue to take risk in trading, and you keep on trading with caution, then experience will make a you better and successful trader in the end. Just trust the process as everything in trading can be learned and mastered.
Losses are part of trading, and it's very normal for traders to experience them, so don't be overly afraid when faced with situations that make our trades lose. As you said, the desire to grow should come when we experience losses, because it can be a big driving factor if we can turn it into a high motivation so that we are more active in learning things related to trading.
I am very sure that someone who is already a professional trader now started trading by experiencing many losses too, but they can improve from what they experienced in those losses. I have a belief that every successful person must have experienced failure.
Being afraid is a hindrance to our success and if we want to reach our goal, we are also reading to take the risk and experience losses if possible. Pro traders don't reach their position without suffering losses and it is because they started from being newbies and less knowledge. In fact, even though they are in a position right now, I couldn't think that they are making themselves easily but still cautious with their actions and market decisions because they practice becoming more careful despite that they already have knowledge and experience.
708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: July 26, 2023, 12:13:04 PM
I have full confidence in Inuoe that he will dismantle Tapales with his punches and that will make him win easily. He is a brave fighter. Tapales might be bigger but that is not what we consider,if you watch the victory of Inoue over Fulton yesterday, you will know that he will be the winner in November 20. Tapales sluggish moves isn't good enough to knock Inuoe out of his way to be the champion. I will bet on Inuoe because it is a sure win. The Filipino might still prove us wrong if he can withstand and win the fight.
There's no question that this scenario is likely for the fight, but I admire the courage of Tapales for challenging Inoue. He is not afraid to taste the power of Inoue and has confidence in himself. Being Filipino, he will not talk trash to Inoue; instead, he will train hard and try to find a way to upset the heavy favorite, Inoue.

If Tapales will lose against Inoue maybe he will be declared as Filipino executioner since he defeat so many filipino champions on his career. But don't get surprise also on the courage of Tapales since this is big match for him and for sure he is so challenge to fight with Inoue in the ring so provably he will train more so he can increase his chance to win. If Tapales would be declared as a winner on this fight then this is really a big achievement of his career.
Well, whatever you call it, Inoue is just exceptional, and regardless of a boxer's race, he treats them fairly, as he has one goal in mind - to win by KO. Inoue will soon be at the top of the pound-for-pound rankings as long as he continues to climb and defeat champions, which I believe won't be hard for him to achieve.
709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: July 26, 2023, 11:03:15 AM
Yeah, we never thought that Fulton will be beaten to the punch, and I thought that he might be the first boxer that can give Inoue as serious run in the match. But Inoue is really that good, not just the quicker and faster puncher, but he has more power when he move to 122 lbs. So all the questions about his bringing his power to super bantamweight has been answered in this fight.

And most likely when Fulton as first felt the power of Inoue, he decided to go on the defense. And he tries to counter a faster boxer, and it's not going to work. We didn't see the technical prowess of Fulton because he has been intimidated, nor his body shots that he is known. On the other hand, Inoue is bringing everything including hitting Fulton in the body.

Until such time as Inoue has some trouble against his opponent, we can choose to bet on him, but for now, he is very dominant. He is in his prime and knocking down anyone who dares to fight him. So it's better to stick with the trend and not try to take a bigger risk by thinking he will lose. The good thing about Inoue is that despite having only a few months of training, he is still committed to fighting Tapeles this year. That's a good sign of a true warrior.

The hype of Fulton did not work,  Grin
710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: July 25, 2023, 12:48:08 PM
The end comes in round 8 Fulton cannot keep up and now Inoue is now a 4-division world champion Inoue did not show respect for Fulton's power its an easy fight, Fulton cannot keep up with the speed and power and I knew its only a matter of time and its round 8 congratulations 4 more to go to equal Pacquiao's record can he do it?

Fulton had no match for Inoue; he seemed to be afraid of Inoue's power, which is why he had doubts in attacking the shorter Inoue. But in round 8, he made a mistake, and Inoue capitalized on it. Inoue is one of the best finishers in boxing, so he got that KO win.

Congratulations to Inoue! I think he can still move up in weight because he has been dominating.
711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 25, 2023, 11:21:04 AM
Yeah, and as Paul George, shout out to WB for taking the minimum just to stay with the Clippers at least for this year.

No, he will stay for 2 years as that's what his contract says.

Quote
Free agent Russell Westbrook has agreed on a two-year, nearly $8M deal
https://www.nba.com/news/russell-westbrook-2023-free-agency

If he cannot make it next season, he still has one more season to help the Clippers win a championship. I think it's possible as long as Leonard stays healthy. Actually, even without PG, Leonard and Westbrook would already be enough to lead the team.
And that might be the biggest decision by WB in his career, take the pay cut, and still play high level basketball and help the Clippers to win a ring and he will also be in NBA history, for taking the biggest risk.

As compare to let's say Oladipo or Dennis Schröder by declining a huge contract and then later on signing for lesser money. But in this case, WB is on the opposite end of the spectrum and it could paid off.

Westbrook can receive a lower salary as he already made a lot of money during his time with OKC. On the other hand, in the cases of Oladipo and Dennis Schröder, they were at their best when the contract was offered, but they gambled and got a bit greedy, looking for bigger offers. Unfortunately, it didn't happen, and for sure, they regretted that decision.

Yes, Westbrook's net worth is already $200 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth: https://www.celebritynetworth.com/richest-athletes/nba/russell-westbrook-net-worth/

So he can take a lower salary because he already has a lot to fall back on. The Clippers did not have to make a difficult decision on what they could offer Westbrook, as he willingly accepted a very low salary. Just imagine, that's only more than 10% of his yearly salary during his prime.

He probably just want to solidify his achievement because as an individual player, he already made a history, so winning a championship will make it better.
712  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My easy way to teach your kids bitcoin. on: July 24, 2023, 09:53:13 PM
Nice idea but I think like me, my own kids also have choices on the type of cartoon that interest them and I for one can't tell them to watch a particular type of cartoon during some specific time as you know they are still kids, I just let them go with what they love best and enjoy their young age. Kids are very delicate and I feel learning about Bitcoin in their young age isn't the right time but of course that's my own personal choice
yes, they will but at least giving them an idea about Bitcoin is not a bad thing to do, at least we are opening some ideas and new things to their mind who knows, they show some interest in it in the future. Because Teaching is not all about wanting them to invest but this is about letting them know the current situation and new technology that we have these days. And whether it was beneficial to them or not, they'll be the ones to decide someday.
713  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading as a newbie - advice? on: July 24, 2023, 09:41:01 PM
Perhaps, there are a lot of trading tutorials available but the problem is the application that we made. Most of the time we just read and then forget it during the actual trade and this is due to the changing behavior of the market plus our emotions. Learning the basics is enough to start but having a long trade experience is the key to success. So as newbies, we never have to expect success right away because it was totally impossible as we don't just know how to trade but also knowing how to control our emotions because this is a big factor that would affect our trades.
714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beterbiev Vs Smith AUG 19 2023 SATURDAY IBF / WBC / WBO LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT Title on: July 21, 2023, 03:37:13 PM
So now that Canelo Alvarez had signed a 3-fight deal with PBC, Bivol was hanging without an opponent. A pursuit of unifying the belt against the 3-belt holder Artur Beterbiev is in the picture but I wonder if both networks and promoters agree to a deal. But the longer this plays out, the more Beterbiev is disadvantaged due to his age so there is also the possibility that Top Rank and ESPN may not really want to match them unless Bivol can be signed by Top Rank.

DAZN and Eddie Hearn should let Bivol have a 1 or 2 fight deal under the exclusive rights of Top Rank and ESPN if they really want to happen it ASAP. The WBC is all about money so greedy Sulaiman can cancel or make an exemption on its nonsense ban on Russian fighters when given the right amount of cheque.

Well, to be honest, I pretty much hope that WBC will be bribed easily and that the right amount will do the trick to make the undisputed fight into reality before Beterbiev starts considering his retirement. I mean, the man is just a few years away from being a 40 years old and before his retirement phase, at least he can have that fight because it will be total waste if he will retire without having any chance of cementing his legacy.

If there will be no pressure from someone above, I think they can get the WBC's approval with the right figure since they are the only ones who are making a stand to stop the undisputed fight from happening. Other than that, both camps can begin their negotiation and it will be a smooth sailing discussion as long as Eddie Hearn will let Bob Arum to organize it as the latter have the right to demand because it is his boxer who got more belts to offer.

WBC should start to look on the bright side and just accept any offer that is presented on the horizon, there's no need for them to enforce these pressures because in the first place, these Russian boxers have nothing to do with what is happening up North, they are just a private individual who seeks a better future inside the boxing industry. It would be unfair if they will still enforce it these days as that's just like the same as racial profiling, sadly.

Bob Arum already said himself that the undisputed fight will not happen this year because WBC is still not inclined about it.
Link: https://www.boxingnews24.com/2023/06/dmitry-bivol-vs-artur-beterbiev-wont-happen-this-year-says-bob-arum/#:~:text=By%20Sean%20Jones%3A%20Top%20Rank,current%20ban%20on%20Russian%20athletes.

That is a sad news because we are hoping that somehow this year, they can make a slight negotiation about the said undisputed fight while also working their permit with WBC in the safe side. Among the four sanctioning bodies, only the WBC is making a stand and while the remaining three seems inclined towards the fight because it's a nice paycheck for them.
715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 21, 2023, 03:12:56 PM
Harden would be a better fit for the Clippers than John Wall was. I don’t think they could win a championship with him, but they’d get further than the first round of the playoffs. I think James Harden and Paul George could make for some great highlights as well. I consider them 2 of the most streetball like players currently playing in the NBA.

It's worth noting that Leonard will likely be fully recovered by training camp. With that in mind, I don't really see how Leonard, George, and Harden will play together in the starting lineup and how they will share the ball with each other. As for whether they can win a championship, I also doubt it. Championships are primarily won by teams with good chemistry, not by teams with a lot of all-star players.

If it's just training camp, of course they will have their full health but all of that will change once the season will commence and they will face other teams in the league. It will be more intense as the months goes by while the season is approaching to its end thus PG and Kawhi will need to keep up with the phase, which is not definite as of this moment if they can indeed finish the upcoming season with a statement. Also, I agree with you on that Harden part, it's hard to see him in the same roster. It won't work.
716  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to grow the bitcoin you have? on: July 21, 2023, 11:39:23 AM
At first, I'd tried after being encouraged while seeing many traders become rich through promotional ads and I did. Unfortunately, it never works on me, not really good and I stop trading. Now, I only just buy, hold, and sell - and I'd find myself it was less stressful and profitable, and besides, I'd never experience losses. That is why I suggest doing this but I can't be sure that it works for you then or you might be good at trading. If I were you, I tried several options available but must avoid illegal activities just to find out where you find yourselves growing and profiting.
717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy more ETH..... on: July 21, 2023, 11:13:22 AM

Ethereum is still at the $2000 level and you recommend Ethereum?, I think this is a bad idea,
because Ethereum is still at a high price with negative sentiment. I think we have to be smart and patient to wait for the bottom price of Ethereum,
maybe around $1000 and we can accumulate it, don't rush to buy Ethereum at the current price, because it is still very risky.
If you think it was not a smart idea, what do you think if the price of ETH will rise to $3k during Bullrun and missed it? Would you consider it a smart idea?
Everything in crypto is risky but choosing other altcoins over ETH is riskier than I can imagine. In fact, we know that ETH is one of the promising coins and it pumps during the bull season together with Bitcoin. So if you may think that buying today is risky and the price is high so you need to wait to dump before buying, then I would say that choose shitcoins instead as it was cheap.
718  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is more profiting self trade or AI on: July 20, 2023, 09:40:50 PM
Lately, there has been some development here in the integration of AI in trading on some stock assets and cryptocurrencies, and to a large instead, AI has ground in acting and executing trades and recording profits, but it has not been for long so as we can't tell what the success rate will be, but for the fact that the reality on the ground has shown and proven their existence in trading stock, so as that which one will you prefer if AI is proven to be effective.
Will you prefer to trade with AI or you prefer to do the trading yourself?
If that is PROVEN, then I would choose it as this could help us to maximize our time as this can work 24/7. While resting, someone does the job for us. Yet, it was just hearsay for now, I'd think there is a technology designed to perform such a task perfectly knowing that it was made and programmed by human beings. Because if does work great, it means that person is a good trader and predictor but of course, it won't as the market is unpredictable, and that is the reason that we can't just rely on AI to do trade. It looks more profitable if we did it personally than relying on them.
719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto betting on: July 20, 2023, 01:29:18 PM

And lastly, like you both have stated, if nothing worrisome is found on the Ann thread, the user can then proceed to checking the scam and accusation board for possible issues users had previously had with such casino and see how it was treated, i believe with this steps, any new gambler on this forum looking for a casino to play on will make the best decision in choosing a casino.

The ANN Thread is the easiest way to verify if a gambling site is legit or not. We are in a big community where lots of DT members are active; they won't allow the newbies to be misled. If a gambling site is shady, they'll tag it for awareness. And if we still miss that, then we should blame ourselves, as we have no room in gambling if we don't know how to choose a legit gambling site.
720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: July 20, 2023, 12:26:43 PM
That cake thing  Grin, I don't think that Fulton has any plan of eating that one to avoid something that might happen to him as he is not accustomed yet to Japanese cakes, he might get a stomach ache and the fight might be postponed again which we don't want that to happen.

Same here, I don't think that will create some drama as Fulton has the right to not eat the cake, that's not their costume anyway to bring some cakes to someone they don't know.

Five days more to go and we can see on who will fight Tapales for the unified belts.

He has to be careful as food poisoning could ruin his career. Currently being the champion, he must be confident in taking down Inoue or winning the fight via decision if that's his game plan. Fulton just needs to continue training and always be cautious to ensure that the fight will happen. We don't want to see food poisoning as the reason for the fight to be postponed again.
