I don't know about that... I know a bloke who worked for 15 years, taking 1 day off in that time because his son was born. Then he retired, work hard, save hard...
enough you know, if now you want to be rich, you're doing is working hard, and full of new ideas that can you make happen, think about the new things that have not occurred to anyone else, and sell the expensive, it may be able to make you're rich What an advice, ''think of new stuff'' Yeah, we all know that is a good idea, the problem is doing it, just because you want to think of new stuff doesn't mean you will be able to find anything new.

This is why Venezuela will be the first country to adopt a virtual currency. 0.037 Bitcoins o almost 12 Us$ It loos like a lot of money, but is the equivalent to half of the monthly minimum wage Seems an historic image from Weimar republic, or the thrillion dollar banknote from Zimbabwe. I hope venezuela people could improve the btc adoption more faster then other countries. Well seeing all the problems that Venezuela has right now I doubt their concern is about bitcoins, give them time and yeah they might adopit bitcoin but definitely not faster than other countries.

there are probability and strong value, right now 400 is astrong value, and the probability it toward the increase
How do you know that the floor of $400 is strong right now and there is some probability for the price to increase? last year no one expected bitcoin to drop alot from $400++ as well to almost half of the value, thats exactly last year of january but it did happen and surprise everybody with it because now we are increasing after a very long time of stagnation, so there is not a single way to believe that we are retunign to the previous point instead last years we were facing the crahs from the last ath, which was build on nothing , since it was a bot that hevaily manipulated the price No one is manipulating any price last year and if someone was manipulating it, it will be bouncing back as soon as the crash begins because someone might want to have a quick profit by bull trapping it but instead we saw how harsh the price keep getting lowered and eventually it got pumped out after months Dude, Amph is a spammer, he makes 20 posts in a few hours everyday, don't listen to anything he says, the price right now is stable on 400$ but there is nothing to indicate it will go higher or lower in fact as of now it seems more like the price will be stable for weeks until something major happens.

I am guessing his original intentions were not to scam otherwise he would have hidden his info better. He probably ran into some financial issue and decided to rip off people here to fix it.
Wouldn't quite say so, judging from the buying of new accounts I wouldn't say he was in that dire need of funds and was just planning a long con. There'd been another person scammed if someone tried buying those alts from newflesh aka new master-p If the other accounts belong in fact to master-p, which by the looks of it, it seems that way, he has been scamming for a long time, it's a strange coincidence that 4 of those accounts used master-p as an escrow for fake trades..

Of course Bitcoin isn't safe, you'd be crazy to liquidate your assets and dump the money into Bitcoin. Just ask yourself how you would feel if you wake up one morning only to find that your 2 mil is now worth 700k However if you're operating an illegal and highly profitable business then funneling your profits into Bitcoin is not such a bad idea, the government doesn't yet have the proper system in place to deal with that type of money laundering The governments might not have such a system to deal with bitcoin money laundering, but if it wants, it will catch you. Obviously, like it happened to silk road but OP is asking about safety in terms of stability which we all know is very low. Bitcoin has the possibility of becoming one of the most popular currencies in the world but can also fall down and be at 0$ the volatility is just too high at this moment to know which one will happen.

This is just martingale and it will not work in the long run. I have seen people losing more than twenty times in a row. You will bust your capital sooner or later.
It won't work in the short term either, I don't know why people keep saying it won't work in the long term implying it works on the short term, if it worked on the short term it would have to work on the long term aswell unless your math is different than mine.

Saving money is most stable.
With investment big or small there is always risk involved. So for me it's about security and saving.
Of course it's stable but if you want to make more money saving it won't do anything for you and can easily make you lose money. What's the point of saving money anyways? You are going to ''invest'' it on something sooner or later.

well, I can tell you one story.
Before years, I ordered two BFL mining rigs. one paid by bitcoin, second one by paypal. and now, you can guess, what was recovered and what what lost forever. I hope, that you will find answer for your OP question.
ehm, paypal was the escrower in that example, with bitcoin you simply did not used one, that's your problem so no bitcoin is still miles ahead versur paypal What? Bitcoin is overall more dangerous when you are buying stuff, a lot of websites that accept bitcoin are not profesional or big business therefore risky and since you can't call anyone to give you back your bitcoins there is nothing you can really do, you can't even go to the police, I mean you can but what can they do?

i think betting is a very bad way to earn btc because through the way of betting there is alway 50%-50% to win or loss. so i think to earn btc or money through betting or gambling is a bad way selection that you make . there are many way to earn money like trading , investment etc
Did you want to reply on other thread and you fucked up or what the hell does your post mean?

If the OP does not like signature campaign, he can go to bitcoin.com. There is no signature campaign there. Signature campaign gives some people incentive to post.
He is not complaining about the ads, the forum itself has an option to turn off the sig ads. He is complaining that signature campaigns are attracting spam which is true but it's not that big of a deal, most spam is on the gambling section which can't really have many constructive posts anyways. If OP is so concerned about it, why doesn't he just ignore all sig campaign participants that he consider that are spamming?

I guess 2016 is not the year people here stop getting all excited when assholes pay back <1% of the money they owe and give them more time to get away. Maybe we'll stop getting robbed in 2017.
Get away? I have his name and home address. He might even be a minor. What is he going to move to Mexico on $12,000? If he is really a kid then i would not be comfortable in doxing hiim and releasing it publicly or even making him spend years in jail. But i doubt he is. So it's all kosher if he's a minor? Kids are allowed to steal $12k without repercussion? The above pertains to minors and punishment in general rather than master-p's case in particular, I haven't yet decided what side of the story to believe and it doesn't actually matter what I think so long as people get paid back. This is the problem with the anonymity that comes with bitcoins and the forum. We have escrows that are trusted but no one knows who they are and they are free to scam at any moment because of that. I know if an escrow gets hacked there is not much we can do but the real owner should have noticed faster and warned everyone so the scammer coulnd't have stole as much as he did.

Well this thread was in june so bitcoin was not around 1200-1300 dollars. Now the price for bitcoin is okey, is around 450 dollars. This month I think it just reach to 500 dollars but it won't break it I think.
Who cares? I've more than doubled my money since my first post on this thread. Like I said, much better to have a slow build upwards than massive volatility. No one is going to get massive profit just from holding, as you said you have to play with the volatility otherwise do not invest since there is no point to hold bitcoins for years when it's clear that is not the way to go. That is not true. I have held onto my bitcoin for 6 years and I sold most at $1000 and bought at $100, that's a decent profit if you ask me. Bitcoin is not even 6 years old until tomorrow so I doubt you have been holding for so long, please don't lie. Second, imagine you bought your bitcoins at 1000$ and you are still holding to this day, what are your expectations exactly? The price won't jump to 100k any time soon if at all, what is the point of holding? Someone who bought at 1000$ should have sold way eariler at 900$ or 800$ at most to avoid heavy losses.

Well I don't use facebook, twitter or instagram. I'm also shocked that this board allows member accounts to be sold openly. Because of this, I will never use an escrow service from this board. I think it's a shame that I have had to come to this decision, as several members have been very helpful to me, and I am sure that they are honest. However, they don't offer an escrow service, and I think that says something as well.
I'd like to buy some Bitcoins, but I think I'm going to have to do this via a face to face meeting. It's a shame that there isn't an escrow facility in Bitcoin, but that goes against the finality of Bitcoin transactions.
Thank you, I was going to say that I don't use those services either and OP might want to think twice before throwing all that personal info out there for all to see. And yep there are no foolproof methods to stop scammers. I too think account sales should be banned. Everywhere. Now in the other thread they're saying that Master-P might be a minor, which would be disturbing. Yes, I agree that these companies who offer sig campaigns should know who they're dealing with. Edit: Holy Christ Quickseller, you should talk about escrows not wanting their identity to be known after your whole fucking "self-escrow" debacle. I don't listen to a word you say about escrowing. Yeah, Quickseller was about to pull a Master-p scam but he got stopped, unfortunately there is no way to know if a trusted escrow is going to do it or get hacked. There has to be some other verification that can't be hacked or at least not at the same time.

Now this is madness! Why is TECSHARE not revealing his DOX in public? He should not get convinced by master-p sending tiny amount of repayments. He should be doxed now according to his previous agreement. Why is he silent now too? I'm pretty sure if enough people report him, the authorities will look into him and put his name put there since the amount is pretty substantial.
All those who got scammed should make a joint appeal to Canada Police Cyber Crime Department to file a case against this thief. Probably then police will start their investigations. Didn't tecshare say something like he would give him until today or some day on January to give back all the money he stole or he would post this DOX. It's really hard to do anything because even if he gets reported he can just say he was hacked and investigating that would be hard and I'm not sure if the police would actually go through all the trouble.

You might consider this stupid but I start my gambling games with flipping a coin which I've been saving since past 8 years.I had found this coin in an Abandoned Church In Nevada since then as a kid I always used to flip that coin whenever in a predicament.I still do it.Sounds lame and I'm not sure why but who cares anyway Yep that's stupid. You know if it's your lucky day only at the end, if you won then it's your lucky day and if you didn't it's not. Some people are really lucky, buying a single lottery ticket and winning when there are people who buy one everyday and never won, there is not much you can do about it.

of course it is better to invest the money if you have enough to do that as you can get more money out of those you already have
There is risk associated with everything, whichever high or low level it possesses, but it is involved and so investing needs to be done with lots of care... Saving money is better if it's Bitcoin, because it's value grows stably time to time... Well trading is not so dangerous, imagine you have 1 bitcoin which is worth 400 dollars, even if the price falls 100$ you are loosing only 100$ and the chances of that happening are low. If you keep an eye on the market or simply have an order to sell if the price hits 350$, you will never lose more than 50$ in the worst case possible.

Of course I am taking this into consideration. An extension wont help him if he doesn't eventually return the funds. On the other hand on the slim chance this is the truth, he should have a chance to restore the harmed parties first shouldn't he? Who is served by his doxing and no one getting paid back?
as long as there is serious intent, like 20% returned immediately and the rest via 4-5 weekly payments not sure what the total is but assuming $10k or so this shouldn't be a problem if he can afford a 3 week vacation who knows where can put it on a credit card LOL Cell reception != wifi
Before you say "we'll he could tether his computer through his phone" many people don't have that because it's an additional $30/mo for minimal benefit
whatever the excuse it's not ok for an escrow to go on an extended trip with no way to access accounts and wallets besides there are many other tools like trezor etc it also appears (if we believe the "hack" story) that master-p may have been delinquent with backups and/or not have a good disaster recover plan... makes you think how other escrows on this forum would deal with a situation like this, or a "hit by a bus" scenario etc. If he really did that trip, why didn't he tell people?
