741  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Kialara Physical Bitcoins/HAVEN: Update on: March 15, 2017, 05:28:26 AM
I didn't get any email even though I recall subscribing to the mailing list. Oh well, not much I can do, except re-subscribing in the hopes that it works next time, so I don't miss something cool. Grin

Same here.
Too late for the suites.

But, I did resub to the list.

The gold price appears to be broken on the ticker.  It is showing $606.78

Very sad I missed out.
744  Economy / Collectibles / Re: 2016 Titan Physical Bitcoins for sale - Silver and 24k Gold on: March 04, 2017, 12:42:51 AM
is this to do with an old coin? is this the same issue from 2015 where you have red flags all over your trust page?

some pretty respectable people are invested in titan, and yes I trust them with my money - I have purchased many titans and have more on order.

Exactly.

Todamont (and his fake accounts) are still talking about the same thing.  He's a child that simply threatens everything.
Basically, he purchased redeemed coins on ebay and is trying to collect free money from TitanBTC.
First, he didn't admit to buying redeemed coins.  It was figured out when records indicated the coin wasn't purchased from Titan by him.  And, then he can't remember if the coin was part of the auction or not.
He just posts crap and since no one believes him, he gets another account to post as well.

TMAN - No need to further comment else he will leave you neg ratings just cause you may dispute his claim.

Also, there is no investigation.  He's simply making that up as well just like his full story to date and simply trying to get others to jump on the bandwagon.

I'd really like to see a high end multiple oz/btc gold coin.

I'd really like to OWN a high end multiple oz/btc gold coin.

Is there going to be a 2017 version as well?  If so, I just tripped on a wallet.dat file that has enough to buy. Smiley

Love the coins.  Smiley
749  Economy / Collectibles / Re: FOR SALE 1 x 1.0 BTC Brass, Series-1 *print error collectible* on: February 06, 2017, 05:51:18 AM
The Series-1 coins are defined by a spelling error on the hologram: the smaller-print "Casascius" is missing the first "s" and reads: "Casacius".

Well, missing the second 's'

750  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTB] Alitin Mint / Titan coins on: February 01, 2017, 03:09:09 AM

The new ones exist.  Very limited run - I have some.  I would suggest you get them - if possible.

Care to elaborate? Smiley

Titan produced a new series of coin.  Gold version and Silver version.  Both are 1BTC funded coins.  I don't know the quantity produced of each; however, I am SURE there is a very low mintage of Gold.  I 'believe' a Gold or Silver will end up on BCT very soon for auction or sale.  Smiley

piramida will have the first option if/when I sell one of mine.

Also, do you have the address that's showing the funds?

The picture shown is simply a stock picture of a regular .5 BTCC coin.  Just making note that it isn't the error coin being raffled.

The 'error'/double funded .5 coins are:

Titan seems to be no longer in business as well, probably the same issue for them.

Titan is still in business.

FWIW, Titan will be releasing a new series of coins "soon" as per Tim.   So @op you may be able to get some Titans soon.

The new ones exist.  Very limited run - I have some.  I would suggest you get them - if possible.

update: bought Titans from Michail, thanks! Still looking for Alitins.

755  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Is there a problem with bitcoin core 0.13.2? on: January 09, 2017, 05:07:24 PM
I just tried downloading Bitcoin Core from bitcoin.org (the link on the top of this site). My antivirus software suggested it was unsafe and removed it. I then downloaded Bitcoin Core version 0.13.1 which downloaded fine and was classified as safe when scanned with antivirus software. (I looked on virustotal.com and found that none of the FREE antivirus service have suggested that it has a virus or is a dangerous file).

This may just be that the bitcoin core has only recently been released today (the 0.13.2 version).

Hey,
Bitcoin Core 13.2 is brand new.  Less than a week old.  So, anti-virus software doesn't know what to do with it yet, so it deletes it.

Maybe in your case, it was Norton 360 or security suite.  It doesn't say it is a virus.  It says it may be unsafe and deletes it.  You can restore it and install.

Or, if you want to wait for Norton to figure out what's up, you can simply install 13.1 since Norton has figured out it's ok.

I will give away one free capsule to anyone who correctly figures out where I got "Keyois" from, but I doubt anyone will get it. Still if you want to try just make a guess in the comments or message me.

For everyone who ventured a guess thanks so much, but I am afraid someone has put forth the correct answer as to where I got the word from.

Congratulations to this user for being so clever!

Ummm, and the answer is?

No answer to my prior question?  Sad
757  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Mycelium Bitcoin Wallet on: January 09, 2017, 12:08:09 AM

Well, since it was Saturday and our local "dealer" which accepts credit cards as well wasn't working(due to weekend), and on the local exchange the prices were still 20% higher(due to low volume) than the major exchanges , I turned to Coinify and bought only 300$ (their limit per account) @815$ (not including fees) , and a few minutes later the price went up by about 60$..

I don't believe you were selling @ 815$...

Obviously not.   Just like you weren't around to buy from me while it was at $1140.  Smiley
758  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Mycelium Bitcoin Wallet on: January 07, 2017, 09:46:01 PM
Well Merry Fucking Christmas , and you can't buy the dips..

So you're upset that a specific store doesn't want to sell particularly when you want to buy?

Take note, they were closed before the spike and the impending plunge.
Net result:  They didn't gain or lose.

Pick another seller.  Too bad you're not close to me.  Smiley
759  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] WIFI Bitcoin And Altcoin Price Ticker Screen - afkdata.com on: January 06, 2017, 09:06:36 PM
My AFKData unit keeps resetting itself randomly. No matter if I power it down before shutting down my computer, if I connect it through a hub, etc. It's quite annoying to have to setup the unit every 20 hours or so. Any idea what it could be? Undecided

I was having that problem with mine.  Thought it might have been power, but supplied a 2A adapter and same issue.
Modified the code a little for logging and found it happened when it would lose wifi signal.

All in all, I ended up replacing the ESP/NodeMCU unit.  Cheap fix ($5) and it never had a problem again.  Couple of months ago.
760  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Keyois Capsule 1st edition: Tamper-evident cold-storage crypto-piggybank on: January 06, 2017, 03:14:46 PM
Keyois guesses:
IOS:Keyboard - Programming module to determine status of keys on a keyboard.
or
Signal Operation Instruction KEY

Do you have a dark video of the units with various angles of the units.  I'm interested in the Glow of various colors.  And, I am interested in getting three (colors RGB).
