741  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing doesn't guarantee you to be rich on: June 09, 2023, 04:59:12 PM

Investing doesn't guarantee us to be rich because investing involves a lot of risks, and there is no guarantee that the investments we have will earn a big profit. The market is unpredictable weather it is a stock market or crypto market and there is always a chance of losing money. Investing really requires patience and discipline and it may take more years for investment to grow. We should have the knowledge and skills before we invest. It is important to make a research first before investing to any kind of investment. Never invest what you cannot afford to lose.

Investing is a commonly used method for potentially growing wealth, but it does not guarantee that you will become rich in a short time because investing involves allocating money or resources with the expectation of generating profits or returns over time. It totally depends upon the risks you take, market volatility, your time to research and learn, and your ability to bear losses. Sometimes it is a method of long-term investment where you earn from different resources. Also, it’s important to note that investing should be done based on an individual's financial goals, risk tolerance, and personal circumstances. Someone shows an interest in short-term investment, and they do that well in the right span of time.

Yes, the idea that you setup while in this investing/trading business, you need to allocate funds that are intended for this business
amount that you plan for you to grow and not to risk like gambling.

There are ways and patterns that you can use to make things happen, but same with your opinion, there's no guarantee as the market is unpredictable
you can anticipate but the accuracy depends on how you project your target.

It's always the best to work with your good understanding and try to work in earning decent benefits.
742  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: June 09, 2023, 04:45:33 PM

And again, our argument that Donaire is not getting old, might go against him if the fight is going to happen next year.

It's truly unfair for him. Other boxers have already been given the opportunity to fight, while he has to wait for another chance just to get back into action. It appears that they don't want to see Donaire become a champion again, as his presence could potentially jeopardize the opportunities for younger contenders if they opt for a unification fight.

It's not that mate, people surely wanted to see Donaire fighting again inside the ring because only few boxers are still that active now considering his situation. It's just that the situation is not on his favor because Richard Schaefer of the Probellum (Donaire's promoter) does have a current problem that hasn't been resolved which is why Donaire is stagnant and inactive for over a year now.

Probellum no longer exist, it was disbanded and all their boxers have been absorbed by the new promoter/manager. But Donaire though and one or two boxers remains loyal to Richard Schaefer. So he still carries Donaire minus the Probellum name.

That's why it doesn't make sense for Donaire or Richard to get this deal happen in the US and not in Mexico. They should be cleared as they bolted out from that management already. There could be serious allegations though, but I think Richard is clean or not tied up to the former owner of Probellum.

Hopefully, the organization will clear this issue and let Donaire to step back inside the ring and bring his fans the entertainment that
they are expecting from him after Inoue vacant the belt.

Even he's aging, his fighting capabilities are still present. Maybe the speed is no longer the same but the power of his punches and the timing, I'm sure
he can still use that as advantage.

Let's wait for any updates and look forward to see this fight happen this year.
743  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 09, 2023, 04:27:08 PM
That's sad news because they did really waive CP3. Well, who knows if his era is about to end but that's not what I am hearing from the rumors and the one that I'm hearing is about the Lakers eyeing him. It's possible that he gets to play with Lebron if ever he'll stay in the Lakers. I know that teams won't let it pass that if there's an opportunity to take CP3, they'll take him. He's able to help the Suns to get to where they've landed this season and that's commendable to him, he'll sure find another home.

Paul and James both have guaranteed contracts for next season. So my guess is that James will most likely stay with the Lakers, but Paul's situation isn't so clear-cut. I mean, Paul is quite an expensive asset for any team since his salary should be $30.8 million for next season. So if the Lakers really want to get Paul, it won't be an easy task for them because they have nothing to offer the Suns in such a deal.

The Lakers don't have any problems regarding about that because they can always get CP3 as they can still afford the contract entailed to him but the problem is, Chris Paul is not that useful anymore because just like anybody else in the league, when they are getting older, it is expected that their performance will also decline. Even LeBron James is having some difficulties already even if he's still having a good stats. So, Chris Paul's contract doesn't really fit him being an asset because most of the time, he's a liability instead of an asset.

Just imagine the three of them got injured and what then what will happen to the team then? AD, LeBron and CP3 all are injury
prone they are aging and with how the game is currently competing..

The game of speed and aggressiveness, maybe they may work for one season if Lakers will push for the trade, but it's not a long-term plan
as per my opinion.

I would like to keep the last Lakers squad or if they can add another center who is a role player, who can play the way they are executing their
game play, Lakers might have a decent chance next season.
744  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: June 08, 2023, 04:27:09 PM
It will be Inoue's responsibility to prove that he is still the same formidable fighter, and perhaps even better, in this new weight class.

It is indeed a responsibility for Inoue, considering that many people are expecting him to dominate once again. Furthermore, since this fight will be held in his home country, there is added pressure for him to deliver an impressive victory. Fulton's fighting style is reminiscent of Inoue's previous opponent, as he is not an aggressive fighter. Instead, he focuses on slowly but surely doing his job to secure a win. Some may consider his style to be somewhat boring, which is evident from his record with only 8 knockouts out of 21 wins.

I see that too. Fulton is not like those previous fighters who Inoue faces before these upcoming fights. He's not a fan of exchanging punches
but more on counter and move away.

More on defensive and point system, Fulton' strategy might be a challenge for Inoue's camp as they also need to find the best strategy to either bring
Fulton to engage and make a mistake to create a good opening for his finishing attacks.

Or, play the dance and keep throwing good converted punches for the point system to win the fight.
745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bankroll management discussion on: June 08, 2023, 03:49:35 PM
What percentage of your bankroll are using as your bet size. I read an article online before that 1% to 3% is the ideal for low risk gambling while 4% to 5% for aggressive gambling. I use the aggressive type bankroll management on most of my game because I’m always bored playing with minimum bets or low percentage of my bankroll because I knew that house edge will kill me long term.

Are using a fixed percentage on your bets or you are just betting random amount? Also do you deposit your total bankroll and just withdraw if you are on target profit or stop loss or you are just depositing exact amount of money for your gambling without extra.
Keeping the bet amount lower as much as possible is good for you because it gives chances to bet more in times while going with higher can drain your balance quickly or give you more rewards so it depends on what you are ready to risk. As an occasional gambler I just use the random amount to bet and will increase or decrease depends on my winning ratio, sometimes I try all in and got busted. Cheesy

Indeed, if you want to extend your stay, I mean, if you want to play with a much longer time frame, it's better to lower your bet and keep it going.

It's how you manage and control your emotions most of the time. There are instances where you will bet bigger than the usual thinking that the chance is
bigger than the last time you tried.

In terms of deposit amount, also using random deposit and see if some luck will help to win some then withdraw or let it go if I lose my deposit.
746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: June 08, 2023, 12:52:01 PM
Congratulations for the profit earned because the Denver players performed very impressively in the 3rd game, as predicted the 3rd game will return to the beginning where Denver was able to take this game very convincingly.
My betbuilder failed because I didn't expect that Jokic would appear even crazier by making 21 rebounds. Luckily, the live bet with Denver over 106.5 @ 1.87 was enough to attract profit for me.

Although it was a low-scoring game, it was impressive to see Denver dictate the tempo throughout. They had no trouble scoring in every quarter, and they surpassed the over 106.5 total points by scoring a total of 109 points. Their precision and dominance inside the paint played a significant role in securing the win. As for my profit, unfortunately, I had bet on the Heat, so it stands at "0".

With the way Murray and Jokic play the game today, they really show that they are not willing to give Miami the confidence throughout the
series, after losing one game at game they regain the advantage.

Game 3 is more on adjustments and that's how coach Malone did, he find the right counter and to make sure that Miami's shooters will be limited,

And they made it, Strauss, Vincent and Robinson did not play the same level in game 2, Congratulations to all Denver supporters.
747  Economy / Gambling / Re: is KYC data on Gambling sites safe? on: June 07, 2023, 05:29:57 PM
I do not trust any casino that the data is safe, if nothing else the exchanges are capable of giving our data if they are asked for it, an easier casino that can give them because they are games of chance, it is easier for them to be attacked by governments and their enemies, it is very easy for these data to be transferred, that is why we have to be quite suspicious at all times, and that does not mean that casinos are bad or that they are thieves, but that they do not We know what problems they may face and even possible hacks, which is something they cannot control sometimes.
The important thing is that we can always be careful when playing gambling and not play gambling at suspicious casinos to avoid getting into trouble. If we already have a trusted casino on our list, we should always use that casino to play gambling because the casino will take good care of its customers. And if we are asked to do KYC, the data we send will also be properly guarded because trusted casinos always try to provide security for all of their members. So we can be calm and don't need to worry because the casino will do its best to protect the data of its members. And they will also make sure the security is always updated.

It's okay what you said, if we don't want to get into trouble with gambling we should just stick to a casino that has a proven track record in cryptocurrency gambling. The one that we have experienced winning and had no problem with withdrawing. Even if we go back and forth in gambling here, it's okay because we are satisfied with it because of the trust we have.
Because if we try with others who are new to this industry, the risk is quite high for sure for us.

Yeah, and it's also good to note that each gamblers have their favorite website/gambling site, though there are times that they
might try using other website due to special offers or curiosity.

But just the same with your position, it's better to use the site where you are really comfortable and you already trust the process, deposit and
withdrawal is not a problem.

Things that are really important in terms of playing gambling, risk is much lesser if you fully trust the site.
748  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: June 07, 2023, 04:06:03 PM
Experience in sports betting or any other gambling platform may lead a gambler to some winnings but there is no guarantee because luck is an important factor in gambling. Some gamblers who think differently when they get few consecutive wins. At that moment some expect regular income from gambling at a fixed rate that can be $50 or $100 more or less which is considered great mistake. There is no chance to earn specific money in gambling. When a gambler takes such a target, he can loss his money. Remember that gambling is not a business where some one can get fixed profit.

No one should give an Instance of how this could be achieved because gambling is not what we determine the outcome, but we stand to accept any results that comes in for us at the end as an outcome, this means there's nothing certain about how one can win a bet or not except the results comes out, it may be that OP needed a fix income up to that amount everyday to earn his leaving while gambling  Grin it may looks funny but this may actually be his intentions, but it's something far from reality, a lot of things have to be involved beyond betting alone in gambling.

I also see that way, seems that he would like to resort to his gambling for a possible daily profit. $100 is not bad if you can manage
to win on a regular daily basis, but there's no guarantee that you can do it.

It's more on the side that you may lose $100 or more from your initial bankroll or worse, you can lose your entire bankroll in the hope that you can earn
such an amount.

You need to have a good discipline and a mindset not to fall with aggression to avoid losing your patience together with your whole bankroll.
749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you guys think on: June 07, 2023, 03:56:13 PM
Building crypto portfolio this time of bear market is the best opportunity by far and of course doing DCA is also guaranteed to have a good portfolio that comes a a promising profit in the next bull run market season. Crypto market has cycles that why you should have the idea when to time the market conditions, by that it will give you a great accumulation period.

The altcoin that you choose to be in the portfolio is of course not just any altcoin,
because there are lots of scam altcoins out there and of course before you buy it and put it in the portfolio,
analyzing it first fundamentally and technically is very important,
especially if you intend to buy memecoin of course you have to do this if don't want to get scam or rugpull.

It's always a need to do your DYOR before placing assets inside your portfolio. There are many available coins that you can choose from. What is
important is knowing what are the reason why the project will continue to grow.

Not just a simple pump and dump but more on the usages that will attract more investors to buy and hold, with that characteristic you can expect
that the project will continue to move forward. Even in some instances, the value may fall. There's always a chance that it will bounce back.
750  Economy / Gambling / Re: is KYC data on Gambling sites safe? on: June 06, 2023, 06:11:37 PM
KYC approval is usually reserved for high ranking officials. Those who are trusted on the site they will be responsible for KYC data. If there is any kind of KYC related complaint on any site then the responsibility falls on the persons in charge. But even in this KYC of many organizations can be stolen. But naturally there are no such problems in all good casinos or gambling platforms. The owners of the casino or gambling platform generally keep a good investigation on this matter otherwise the casino will not be able to gain a good reputation. KYC has both positive and negative aspects but considering all the positive aspects are more visible.

I'm beginning to think that this call for KYC awareness in casinos is being overrated, (I'm not saying we shouldn't take precautions though) if you listen to those who are complaining or have ever complained about their identity being exposed after they Completed KYC verification for a certain online service it has never been linked to a casino.
It's either from an exchange or any other money managing company, I guess hackers don't really focus on gamblers not sure why tho, but we should still keep our guard up and keep on with going with the best practice by choosing a reputable casino or perhaps looking for a no KYC casino.

Yes, indeed, we still need to be furious and not to put our guard off, there's still chances that hackers will penetrate casino website
and even those well-establish business they are all prone to any attacks.

We need to make sure that before providing anything we already done doing our part in investigating and reviewing the website/casino that we
are allowing to provide our personal data.

Your information is your obligation to protect. The decision should be place after doing your DYOR.

~snip
For me it all comes to Denver can there be someone who can assist Jokic and they will win it. They need 1 or 2 more guys to have their night so they can secure a win. It's Denvers series to lose.

yeah, Jokic can't do it alone, and it is boiling down to who, if anyone, will be there to help and score points
Miami has a good team spirit, probably better (if not best in the league) coach, but they are tired as well, so it will not be easy, especially if series goes to games 6 or 7, and I doubt Miami can have a winning strike

on the other side, Denver could have a winning strike, even in away matches, IMO

That capabilities from the Nuggets is no doubt, they can win away from their home with the solid squad they just need to execute well
and play tougher defense not to give Miami players a confidence to keep shooting the ball.

Just like how they set their defense in game 1, they need to rotate and not to give those open 3's as Heat shooters will not hesitate to
take it, most likely they will keep throwing it as they are playing in their home crowd.

Game 3 again will be an interesting matchup. Both teams are eager to win and that's really nice to see during the finals.
752  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is this considered a safe practice on: June 06, 2023, 11:40:55 AM
It's a matter of choosing between an enticing promotional offer and your personal information security. If I were in your shoes, I wouldn't trade my peace of mind over something that I can eventually earn and deposit later on. This is because the moment you enter your card details and you deposit using it, your card will now have a trace history of gambling website in which the government and your bank can monitor. Additionally, your fund security could be put into risk too. For instance, if you want to deposit and something went wrong into the system, you were debited on your end but isn't on the casino's end. This will be such a hassle and will give you a lot of headache especially if the customer service representative on both sides will just push you sideways, pointing fingers on whoever is at fault.

And it's real. There are instances that you'll feel that you are like a ping-pong where both sides will point-finger and will not
accept the mistakes that being done.

Better to keep your private security and play with your spare money if you really love to play gamble, your spare money that you can easily let go
with the sole purpose of entertaining yourself.

Keep in mind that the aftereffect of failed decisions will keep bothering you, especially if it's all about your savings.
753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: PEPE time to buy NOW? on: June 06, 2023, 11:22:21 AM
Indeed, it is basically difficult to give the exact time and price of a coin at any time. However, I'm not sure if the PEPE coin can jump up very significantly, especially if it's only influenced by Elon musk. As we know, some people will doubt Elon Musk after what he did to Dogecoin where at that time many people were tempted to buy Dogecoin because of Elon Musk's tweets on Twitter but it didn't last long and Dogecoin's price collapsed until now. Even now he doesn't care anymore about Dogecoin.

Some may still risk their money believing that there's chance that he may throw his money out from this another meme project
while others will be in the position of doubting his support.

And yeah, just like what happened with Doge and Shiba where his name is also mentioned, both assets are now down. Still far from the last time high.

A risky investment that you'll going to take, and you really need to think about potential and risk behind.

754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 05, 2023, 10:15:28 PM
Was that a holy shit game or what? Denver 1st home loss in the playoffs. Both teams led by more than 10 at 1 point in the game but Miami stayed focused and took game 2. WOW is all I can say.

Unbelievable. I was too confident that Denver can take the lead back until their defense seems to fall. I am starting to believe that the Denver Nuggets are in real danger especially if they will let Miami come close to them in the last minutes of the games. The Heat has the deeper playoffs experience and is used to facing adversities, tougher games including comebacks, and winning close games on the road and at home.

Denver is still the favorite to win this series but they better play defense, hustle, and grind hard even if they are leading 2 digits to avoid comebacks which is very normal to Miami.

Seeing the odds moving much closer than it was last time means that the bookies are now having some doubts about the Nuggets chances in winning every game and if they cannot win in the hostile ground for the next two games, their chances and odds will become much lower and probably will become an underdog in this series. But I don't think we can able to see that kind of scenario as just like what the Heat did, Nuggets is now preparing for their next execution against the Heat and will have some certain adjustments so that their chances of loss will be minimized.

I believe that after that loss they will be doing big adjustments to play much deeper defense. I think Miami made a good
adjustment last game 2 and it's time now for Denver to make those adjustments.

Tied series and it looks like after that win, Miami is now gaining the momentum. They will go to play at home now. It will be tough as they
will going to try to advance and get the series lead.

While on the Dever side, they will try to regain that lead, a competition between coach strategy and best executions to expect from both teams.
755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trade altcoins during the bull run or just hodl? on: June 05, 2023, 11:15:45 AM
Next year will be my first bull run and have just been thinking about what will be best to do when it finally arrives next year.

Do you plan on just holding till an amount you are happy with or is it a good idea to try and trade altcoins whilst they are pumping to earn even more?
Your best bets as a newbie is buy and accumulate before the bull run arrive, however trading altcoin during the bull run is not a guarantee that you will earn good profits because some altcoin might not trend bullish as expected like Bitcoin, a newbie might probably trade a wrong altcoin that is not pumping well thus a 50:50 chance of earning some reasonable profit, personally I will start researching for potential altcoins that would guarantee a massive profit when the bull run arrived and continue with learning of trading altcoins apart from my base BTCUSD that I usually traded because there are plenty available altcoins in crypto market which makes it selection very difficult.

Not all alt coins will pump so better to do your research before you take your step in picking your asset, but like you, better to start collecting BTC
knowing or expecting that Bullrun will pump the value high.

Though with good research you might also locate the best alt/s to invest and make some decent benefits, it's always good to have your target.

Most of the time, being greedy will let you lose your investment, with good set amount the chance of making money is possible during bull season.

757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 05, 2023, 10:39:40 AM
I was shocked. Shocked I am one of the NBA fans that thinks the Miami Heat is totally underrated and they proved something today. First, they broke the perfect playoff home record of the Nuggets. Second, they started heavy by not letting the Nuggets score for 4 possessions, iirc. Finally, they closed the game strong and did not an overtime happen.
Right now, it got me curious on who will win this championship because before I was so sure it will be the Nuggets. It seems like Erik Spoelstra has still a lot of tricks in his sleeve and it's being shown now. Using Kevin Love in the first 5 was a risky move but it worked out fine. He returned on a play that uses Duncan Robinson as a threat like how he did it against the Celtics, almost like DeJa'Vu actually.

All I could say is, cheers to Miami Heat, that's some good basketball.
They've been underrated even before the playoffs and that's why these paper predictions and thoughts about them, they've proved it to be wrong. And for the 2nd game of theirs against Nuggets, we all knew it that they'll have hard time beating them.

But again, they've proven that they're more than what's expected on them. Despite being the underdogs up to beating Celtics and winning the ECF. Now, they won't just allow the predictions to tell them their fate.

Yes, they made a good adjustment, especially at the last quarter of the game, Duncan Robinson, who's making lots of turnovers in the first quarter
come alive and bring the lift the Heat needs to cut the lead.

While Vincent, Butler and Bam finished the job and snatch the win against the home team, I like the aggressiveness of all the heat players.

They are all-in and they are really taking the big risk shooting the ball. Good thing that it's better compared to game 1.
758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you guys think on: June 04, 2023, 10:22:32 PM
Bear market will not be like the past history as crypto is getting popular day by day and investors are increasing. So we can say bear market is the best time to build portfolio and also it will not go too dip like 2018 if we don't face any bad news.
I agree with you, bear market is an opportunity to fill your bags and get ready for the next bull run, during bull run, the people that makes the most profit are the ones that fill their bags during bear market.

Preparing for the possible pump is more accurately done during the bear market. If you can add more with your bag holds, you will
earn a lot when bull run takeover.

It's more on how you believe the project that you are supporting and how much willing you are to wait till it reached your target amount before selling
your holdings.

Take time to DYOR and make sure that you have that patience to wait if long-term is needed.
759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: June 04, 2023, 10:06:28 PM
Rematch? Possible! But if Fulton would see the difference in power and technicality then i do highly doubt that he would really be asking for one.

He is currently in the position of being the champion, so if he were to ask for a rematch in case of a loss, I believe Inoue would grant it. However, you are right that he may not ask for a rematch if he experiences the power of Inoue, as he would be fortunate to last all 12 rounds if he loses the fight. Therefore, it is more likely that a rematch would only happen if Inoue were to request it, as Fulton would be confident since he has already beaten Inoue.

Perhaps, for now, let's not discuss the rematch and instead focus on how the fight unfolds.

If it proves to be competitive, then a rematch becomes highly possible.

As the full content of their contracts are not disclosed in public, we can just speculate on what they have agreed upon.
But most of the time, if the money involve is quite huge, this is where promoters can possibly change their minds.
Before the rematch discussion, let us enjoy the upcoming fight first and see where both fighters stand out.
Maybe after this fight, they don't even need the rematch because one will clearly dominate the other boxer.

It's business, so for sure promoters will take care of their business, and I also agree with what you said, if one will dominate
rematch is no longer needed as the camp will accept the defeat.

While, if the fight will end up close, and if the demands from the fans will bring more money, I can also say that a rematch may take place.

Promoters will take advantage if there's a good pressure from the fans who will call loudly/publicly that they want to see both
fighters back inside the ring.
760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 04, 2023, 07:50:22 PM
Today is the only chance for Heat to keep their hopes up, if the series goes to 2-0 it's over mentally. They have to play extraordinary today. If they shoot bricks again behind the three then they have no chance. Martin, Robinson and Strus were unrecognizable in the first game. They can't rely on threes only. They should score from the paint and go to the free throw line more often. Heat gave up early in that game, they can't do that again. Nuggets rested well, now they are focused on winning the title and they know this is the most important game of the series. My money would be on Nuggets though.

Yes, I do agree  that this is a crucial game for the Heat. They haven't been in a situation like this before, in all of their series, they usually take game 1 and win. But this is very different situation now, if they lost then 2-0 going back to their home court and then all the pressures will be on their shoulders.

They will have to find a way to score in the paint, go to the free throw line. They shouldn't allow the Nuggets to control the game from the very beginning and then they do  the catch-up. Jimmy will have to score and be their main offensive man in the first half.

Yes, the early part of the should be a competition and not just allow Nuggets to over dominate them, the thing in game1
they allow the core players of Nuggets to establish the confidence.

If they will let that happen again without any competitions, Nugget will just do it again and again. They need to adjust and not to throw the ball.

Heat needs the best performances to everyone in trying to tie the series, else the chance that they might be swept is possible.
