741  Economy / Economics / Re: DYOR before joining!!!!!!!!!!!!!! on: March 09, 2019, 01:47:01 PM
Everyone says DYOR but lets be honest, most people will do better by listening to advice from others.  If you find someone knowledgeable and is actually successful in crypto your better off taking to heart what they say.  At this point it has kind of become a meme, everyone says DYOR just so they don't receive any blame if things happen to go south.
742  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Do Bitcoin miners care about renewable energy? on: March 09, 2019, 01:43:04 PM
Tragedy of the commons, very few people will do something for the greater good.  Game theory tells us that humans will act selfishly and do whatever fills their pockets.  Of course there are some good apples out there but capitalism is dominated by a ruthless obsession for increasing the bottom line.
743  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which is the best place to learn how to play Poker online? on: March 09, 2019, 01:39:12 PM
Watch poker tutorials on youtube to get the basics down before you jump into practice games.  I would also recommend watching some high level tournaments to get a feel for how the pros play and try to emulate what they do once you build up some basic skills.
744  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Thoughts on Video game gambling addiction? on: March 09, 2019, 01:34:34 PM
Even though I don't like the idea of gambling in generic video games, I understand that casino games are boring. Games like blackjack, poker, dice, etc., are outdated in my opinion.

Actually, if online casinos could create such quality video games, we don't need to gamble on generic video games (like DOTA2). What a pity.

It would be cool if more games had a battle option that you could wager money.  That way it revolves around skill rather than gambling.  I guess at that point its not technically gambling since games of skill are generally not regarded as such.
745  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How blockchain is changing social media and the internet on: March 09, 2019, 01:28:01 PM
The internet is becoming more centralized than ever before.  Google is gaining more data which is ultimate power in this world.  At first it was only the search engine but now they dominate browsers and email.  Kind of scary if you really think about it.  Crypto is great but it won't solve these type of problems.

747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Casino Affiliate Marketing Tips on: March 08, 2019, 01:26:44 PM
Thank you for the very useful market tips. I do really need a job I could do from home that can give me money and a post like this is all that is needed at this moment.

Would like to ask a question concerning building an online presence. I already have a good online presence on my Facebook and you tube, but I do not have a website. Is it very compulsory to get a website ? Because, I cannot afford to hire someone to build a standard website now and am interested in starting this  affiliate program immediately.
If you do have a good influence on your social account then I think making your own website is not a must. You can also just make your own blog about gamling and putting your link there can help you earn more profit. Having this kind of extra income in gambling is way better than playing.

All it takes is an instagram account with lots of followers and you can pull in easy money with sponsored ads.  The problem is gaining enough online presence.  Unless you have male model looks like a young Brad Pitt or have some high up connections it will be very difficult.

Game developers have been doing everything possible to extract as much money as possible from video games.  I miss the old days when you bought a game and that was it.  Now devs are locking the content that is created before the game is even released and selling it later as DLC.  I'm fine with paying for actual new updates that are created later but most of the time this isn't the case.
749  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: weird drop in bitcoin price on coinmarket cap for one hour on: March 08, 2019, 01:00:28 PM
You shouldn't be using coinmarketcap, they report fake volumes and run scam ads on their website.  They are not to be trusted for accurate information.  There are many other sources that you should be using instead of the corrupt coinmarketcap website.
750  Economy / Economics / Re: Europe's new plan: to give more free money to banks on: March 08, 2019, 12:55:46 PM
Governments privatize the profits and socialize the losses.  We already saw the corrupt that happened in the United States.  Banks and auto companies got bailed out while people got foreclosed out of their houses.  You can't have it both ways, either have a completely free market where any business that fails goes extinct or socialize everything and actually help your citizens.

Jordan would have an even higher scoring average if he didn't return to the Wizards and lower his PPG.

If I was starting a team from scratch and I could choose prime Lebron or Jordan I would pick Lebron.  I think he is just a better all around player and is much more athletic.  He is super versatile and can play point guard or power forward
752  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best small exchanges that you really like on: March 07, 2019, 04:53:05 PM
I've used many small exchanges and there are some that are clear scams such as Yobit.  Never used Yobit, they have been stealing customers money for years.  one of the best small exchanges I've used is coinexchange.io , I never had a problem with deposits and withdraws and they have enough liquidity to do some trading.
753  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What's the best bitcoin t-shirt? on: March 07, 2019, 04:35:08 PM
There are a lot of good options on ebay for bitcoin clothing.  I have a cool orange shirt thats says just hodl it (paraody of nike's just do it).  I even ordered a pair of bitcoin socks last christmas.  Never hurts to help represent the bitcoin brand because no one is really paying to run bitcoin ads in the media.
754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Thoughts on Video game gambling addiction? on: March 07, 2019, 04:25:09 PM
Video games are loaded with aspects of gambling and people of all groups and ages play these games in modern times.  Many games have things like loot boxes that you pay for to random prizes, Runescape has the duel arena where you can gamble gold against one another, and there are many more examples.

People may start off with video games and then eventually move on to higher sums gambling in real casinos.  What are your thoughts on this matter and should anything be done?
755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Need opinion about Decentralized Gambling and Profit Sharing on: March 07, 2019, 04:20:41 PM
Investing in these platforms is like picking up pennies in front of a freight train.  There is a high chance they will just steal your coins in the end and investing in a casino with a very small house edge wouldn't even be worth your time.  There are much better things to invest in to get a higher return.
756  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Trader Brutally Tortured on: March 07, 2019, 04:16:34 PM
Most of you are way too paranoid.  Look at all the famous people that attend crypto conferences and this never happens to them.  I'm sure Craig Wright or John Mcafee wouldn't be hard to find and we know they are holding large amounts of crypto.  Live your life and don't worry about something that is unlikely to happen.
757  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the likely problems that cryptocurrency poses to the financial sector? on: March 07, 2019, 04:09:54 PM
It will definitely steal market share away from banks and fiat money.  This is why people like Warren Buffet are against bitcoin, he is a large shareholder in major banks and credit card companies.  Paypal has been heavily against bitcoin because they know how much business they can potentially lose to crypto payments.
758  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Crypto Marketing on: March 06, 2019, 09:37:48 PM
Without marketing it isn't possible to attain success in the crypto industry. However the project might be, proper promotion gets good investment to the project. Very few succeed without marketing, and this happens because they're already recognized in the market with their physical products. Now they're just integrating their services, recently one such success that happened is with bittorrent.

It's not only in crypto industry. Once Kiyosaki wrote that it is not enough to write a good book, you have to make people buy it. So, crypto is not an exclusion and it needs much efforts from marketers. Usually, Blockchain projects are high-technological projects with large marketing and PR budget, so it is big responsibility to promote these projects.

Engineers and Scientists tend to hate marketing but without people knowing about your product it won't gain mass adoption.  Marketing is a necessary evil in this day and age if you want to run a successful business.  Some here the term marketing and think of scammers looking to make an easy buck but thats not what its really like.  Even giants like Coca-Cola continue to spend billions on advertising even though they are already a well known brand.
759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: God of winning be with all the gamblers in 2019. on: March 06, 2019, 09:27:05 PM
The truth is not everyone can be a winner, casinos have to make profit off the losers.  I see many of you believe in law of attraction and all that positive thinking stuff.  I wish you luck on that journey and hopefully it works out for you.  I guess it can't hurt to have that sort of mindset.
760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Rippel a scam? Shocking Forbes article about XRP !!! on: March 06, 2019, 09:14:25 PM
Its a clear scam and yet people still continue to buy it.  The thing is ripple is not even a cryptocurrency.  It shouldn't  even be listed on coinmarketcap.  It is just a centralized excel spreadsheet with a huge amount given to the founders.  I don't think it will ever reach $1 again and it will descend out of the top10.
