When pigs feed pigs.

@BTC: Feels like nearing another tipping point. Up or down?  Huh

You are talking out of your ass though.

Nah, that is your speciality.

There's a still difference imo. JJG argued and trying to prove all sorts of claims in factual manner, even maths and science, while you didn't deliver shit proof about any of your "theories" yet  Tongue

They are firing AGM-88 HARM from that kind of "altitude" against russian air defense bases. Legendary.

Ah... not to forget: Fuck off @becoin! Why you don't join your glorious army and go catch some bullets?

BREAKING: RUSSIAN CENTRAL BANK AGREES TO LEGALIZE USE OF BITCOIN AND CRYPTO IN INTERNATIONAL TRADE 🇷🇺.

Source: https://twitter.com/BitcoinMagazine/status/1566771846854344704

Good news for Bitcoin! Another slap in the face of "regulators" and other anticoin LARPers.

Thanks for posting. Have your very first merit! You earned it!

You think so?
No way US/EU is going for a attempt at "banning" bad crypto 'cos financing Russia?

Politics, politics. politics......
It is very likely the reason for the headline!
That way the whole of the west (MSM and hence the majority of the masses) can then start pointing out how crypto is 'BAD'.
I think we are at the "Then they fight you" stage.
Honestly, it sickens me how a select few have so much power over so many and when the many have a way of sticking it to the man they don't even see it when its right in front of them!!!
Bitcoin can save us all and what are we (excluding present company of course) doing about it? Trying to bury it!
Sometimes I despair for the human race.

Seconded.
Like Nietzsche said, Heaven and Hell are not destinations, but states of human mind.
So we are still living for those moments of deep, true joy, no matter how shitty life might be.
On the other hand, we value this precious single life of us so little, we would deserve to be ruled by a few shithead politicians...

Bitcoin is the center of attention of all circles.
ETH Co-Founder Vitalik Buterin also spoke about Bitcoin.

The more people, the more interesting.

Hungry V. should better be discussing the security of Ethereum. Especially when it comes to PoS.  Wink

In my country (Pakistan) this method of grilling chicken is known as 'Sajji' (a triditional dish).

Are these spikes/chicken to be rotated?
How often and at which intervals (approx)?

I don't think Ukraine is going to win. Its last promised counter-offence in August so far hasn't materialised.

The war in Ukraine is not between Ukraine and Russia. It is between America and Russia. The so called Ukrainian army are just mercenaries paid by US and UK. The pro-American military junta in Kiev can never win.

Dude..you are so full of shit.  Say hi to your Roosky handler for me.

BTW ... There's a thread to post your Russia/Ukraine  crap here...   Actually, come to think of it, that goes for everyone.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5382794.0

Fucking politics. In this day and age,  I just get annoyed about it. Post about the weather or something, anything but fucking politics...

Been there, done that.
Just try to ignore becoin's verbal propaganda pukes. There's no better option than to withdraw attention.

So hows this climate change working out for everyone?

This shouldn't be political at all.

Dry soils, rivers running low, local floodings, more wells each year running dry or get contaminated because of floodings, resulting in less available drinking water.
So, yeah, works perfect in itself, societies fail to adjust. I'm lucky so far, with the exception of dry/contaminated wells.

EDIT: Zuck sucks. Once again.

I expected 42K to be a major resistance but 25K, really? Why nobody is buying? I would sell everything just to buy more at these prices. Is this the top of the recovery? At least the progress is way too slow. May be my expectations for 30K+ by the end of the year were too optimistic and we will grind to hold the bottom 17.5K. Let's hope 25K will fall soon, otherwise...

Reminds me of Jen'19. Slowly up... The orderbooks seem to flip to relatively low sell order volumes, too.

Finally, the (possible) coiner appearance i witnessed a few weeks before...

I was at the house of an old friend of my wife. Cool, intelligent dude with an anarchist's heart, btw.
He had someone there to help him repair something, when i caught the following words from that guy, while i was near:
"I think it will take another ten years or so (...) if i were a rich dude, i would to exactly that (...) this is why (...) Bitcoin comes into play"
This was everything i could understand. I kept acting unaffected, and started to think how i could find out more without uncovering myself as a coiner. I think i'll have to interact a little more with this guy, who seemed tech-affine too, so maybe i'll bring in some internet talk on the next occasion. Chances that he is a nocoiner (or anticoiner) are quite equal, judged by the pieces of the half minute long talk i was able to hear.

Enthralled by OutOfMemory's Astro Photography, incredible results.
To anyone interested in learning Astronomy, you don't need a telescope to get started.
Most astronomy is simple observation and a paper star Map or one one your phone to help you navigate.
Up early today busy day ahead, was hoping to view the Perseids meteor shower, sadly it is cloudy here and it will be getting light soon.
I'll try again early tomorrow morning, look to the NNE preferably after midnight when the radiant position is higher in the sky. If you are in the southern hemisphere at the latitude of Darwin the radiant position is very low in the sky and in Sydney will be below the horizon.
Another run at $25k, will it break through today?
A good day to everyone, whatever you are up to.

Yes, i can only second that.
I started with a book (astronomy atlas) and a sky map.
After a while i bought a used telescope (only to find out that i have an error in the cornea), sold it again, but was able to gaze at the moon, some planets and brighter stars, while i learned how to set up, adjust and control a tracking mount, as well as how to collimate a newton telescope. No photography involved.
Later, i knew that photography was the only chance to look at bright stars without visual artefacts, so i use the "rule of 600" to get nice milky way shots with a DSLR and a quality tripod. After the first few blurry shots of a nebula with a 85mm lens, i knew i wanted more. A modified cam and tracking (go-to) mount was the next step. I had to shoot multiple long time exposures in freezing cold, so i knew i have to automate things, with a raspberry-PI based system, controlled via wifi tablet. And a few weeks ago, the APO refractor telescope.

In between there were many hours of learning (with my forgetful mind) and trial&error, freezing off half of my ass just to get mediocre results at best, hundreds, if not thousands of deleted pics. Memory cards and battery packs everywhere...

---

The Preseids are covered by the bright light of the full moon this year, it's cloudy now too, i don't even try to get a view at them. Maybe next year...
On the other hand, August is the month when some of the most desired objects start to appear in the more clear areas of the night sky again (above 30° elevation), while the milky way core is slowly moving down behind the horizon again, which thrills me again to get good pictures of the less bright parts of the near spiral arm, which means many exposures to stack in harmony with a single foreground shot.

---

We'll se how long BTC is range bound, but i expect a breakout rather soon. Everyone and his cat seems bullish, only some whales are sucking out small fiat gains (relatively spoken), but the main course is UP.

I have Skyview Lite on my iphone. it is pretty incredible. Jupiter on the horizon at the moment, Mercury to the east.

Star Walk 2 is reccomended for the more spectacular gfx. Still have it on my phone, but Skyview was the one i purchased in the end.

They are a europe based business and have to comply to the EU-GDPR act.
According to article 17 (iirc) they have to delete your personal data on request.
It takes some weeks, but i did it after i received the product, and i recommend everybody else to do the same.
There's a dedicated Email adress to write to at Ledger, just google it.

Thanks, you are right.
Though, my purchase was 6, 7 years ago. Could be that it was before the act.  Until my email was doxed I wasn't even aware of the act.

Similar to my case, the leak was 2 years after (first) purchase, but only my email got leaked, i don't even receive any related spam nowadays.

Fuck Ledger and their weak security, aka "data leak".  Still getting scam emails every day.

...hope they go bankrupt.

Suddenly there are calls for Bitcoin to rocket upwards. Perhaps the Blackrock news set it in motion, but there seems to be a new bullish aroma in the air. Plan B is even telling people to go long with massive leverage, which seems crazy after what we just went through. Seems odd, but maybe he is calling the bottom for people here. I’ll stay away from leverage personally, but do hope the next up cycle is upon us.
Really?
Got a sauce link handy?

EDIT: Other good analysts who called the $69k top, for example, say that BTC will go sideways below $30k until 2024...
I don't know... Probably King Daddy will do some other thing.

Part of the reason that I strive to gravitate to around 50/50 regarding a lot of my anticipations continues to be difficulties to really know anything with much of any certainty, yet at the same time, for anyone with even half a brain, it should be difficult to buy into any ideas of BTC maintaining prices at or below the 200-week moving average for significant periods of time - absent some kind of information that something is broken in my lil precious.  We do not really have that kind of news in recent times

- even though we do have news that a lot of folks had been engaging in double, triple, quadruple and even much higher quantities that I cannot even count of the quantities of bitcoin that they had and then presenting that information to other people (who believed them) in order to get more bitcoin while offering "yield" on an asset that is designed to pump forever.

Sure, discovery of those kinds of arrangements can contribute towards causing the BTC price to go crashing down to ungodly levels, yet there are ways that bearwhales can also end up getting caught up on the other side of those kinds of trades, too... So it does not seem sustainable to be betting in only one direction when BTC prices have already been gravitating below, at or near the 200-week moving average - for nearly 2 months now.. and sure maybe a break-out to the upside will not be sustainable (aka a dead cat bounce), yet I have never heard of a dead king daddy.. I mean I have heard of it for sure (around a few hundred times-ish), but I have not seen such a thing play out in reality (so far).

Edit:  Whoops.  I forgot to mention, which was one of my main inspirations to response to this post in a kind of timely manner...  We have the close of the weekly candle that is coming within about 5 hours of the time of this post - so accordingly,  the BTC price has been hovering in the lower  $23ks for a couple of hours.. but really for about the past three days.. and largely this seems to be contributing to a potential nail-biter in the remaining hours regarding whether or not this week's candle is going to be red or green - and so we are going to need BTC prices to be at least $23,287 in order for this week's candle to end up green..   Bite your nails if you must....  I am not going to say.. and maybe it does not even matter very much so long as the BTC price closes right around the lower $23ks or the upper $22ks.. and our 200-week moving average is just about to touch upon $22,900 as well.. slowly gravitating UPpity - $10-ish per day these days.

Just read that edit in the reply...
However, all is true, imho. Regarding half-a-brains, it seems to me it's a requirement (less than half a brain) to blindly follow influencers and shitcoin jesuses (pun intended).
For me, as the passive hodler, it's quite interesting to come across these opposing predictions, made by reputable, experienced persons that are analysing the market for longer times. I am curious how the next year or so will play out, and i can't even choose which "side" to favor. Not that all of the people i was writing about (PlanB included) always called the future correctly, but more so about the majority of their predictions were correct, at least sort of, for example when ranges were called, which are much easier to hit than exact prices.
Still, interesting, interesting. Something for my mind to hang on to. Like sports analysts, talking about future matches, calling their favourites and sometimes results. I just enjoy watching the game, without throwing my money at the sports betting business  Wink
