761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Could Ripple’s XRP could reach $1 in 2020 ? on: July 31, 2020, 11:50:20 PM
$ 1 for XRP can still be touched in the next few years, maybe only a few months,
because we are just waiting for altcoin season, and the price of XRP will go to $ 1 easy

I was thinking that it couldn't reach $1 this year but with the way the market is right now I'm thinking that it could. XRP is already making some nice gains and what most of us forget is that XRP is always one of the last high cap coins to pump so it could start any time now.
762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [AceD]🔥[Cold Staking]🔥[Sports Betting] [🎮Gaming🎮] on: July 31, 2020, 11:47:15 PM
I wonder why it's going up so much?

Maybe because AceD was so undervalued for a long time. Just compare AceD with other projects that don't even have a use case for their coin or token, well AceD does have a use case and has launched a top notch sportsbook compared to other betting projects so the price needed to go up to reflect what the team have done in the past 6 months.
763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: July 31, 2020, 11:44:14 PM
I wouldn't worry about what China are doing as they are not a big sporting country anyway. Yes they support tennis in a big way but just because one country won't hold any tennis tournaments this year doesn't mean its the end of the tennis season. Just look at what other sports leagues around the world have been able to do so I can't see why a hub couldn't be set up in some countries and tournaments can be played. Yes the quarantine is a major factor however I'm sure one country could host several tournaments in a 2-3 month period. I am starting to think that its coming down to money because there will most likely be no fans at the stadiums and that's where a lot of money is generated for tennis where as football they have a huge supporter base and the same with US sports so they can keep going without fans attending. Tennis is a lot smaller then most sports in the world which is why we are seeing not much tennis played because like I said its less risk with 2 players playing compared to team sports like football and the US sports.
764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Triangles [TRI] - low supply X13 PoS over TOR with secure messaging on: July 31, 2020, 11:35:39 PM
I have 0 connections.

could someone share some nodes please?

Let it load if your syncing from the beginning it will take time.

The last time I had to sync the wallet from the start it took almost the whole day and that was almost 1 year ago now as I updated my PC. Not sure how long it takes now to sync but I'm guessing close to 24 hours or more depending on everyone's computer/laptop. The wallet can take a while to get a connection so just let it sit and eventually it will start to sync.

@Mr.Supreme

Is there a working block explorer for TRI as the last one I used to use doesn't work anymore.

I have noticed that the pool on BTCPop has got a little bigger so I'm guessing that more people are switching over to staking on BTCPop instead of running the wallet which will give less connections. I'm still staking and hoping that a dev comes along and picks this up as I think staking will be the new trend for crypto in the coming years.
766  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: July 30, 2020, 11:38:51 PM
Another big name is pulling out of the US Open and that is Ash Barty. Like I said we'll see a lot more pulling out due to the virus not slowing down in the US but I still think tennis can go on just like the other sports. In fact there is less risk when it comes to tennis as the players don't need to be near each other like other sports such as the NBA and football. So I think once the tennis starts up in Europe we'll see a lot more tennis played, its just the US that's the big concern right now as the virus is out of control.

he node is over. How to collect a deposit of 10,000 thousand?
Please remove the burntx and collateral tx info inside your infinitynode.conf and your 10k SIN will be available to use.

Thanks mate as I didn't know what this member meant.

I'm eagerly waiting for the hardfork to be complete so that we can stake SIN by locking our coins away for a period of time. I really like this concept as its something different then traditional staking coins.
Anytime mate. We are all waiting for our big hardfork. Private testnet is very busy fixing bugs before we make the testnet public.
The public testnet will have a total bug bounty of 5 million SIN depending on the bug.

Sounds like its coming a long nicely and I'm sure there will be a lot of community members helping out to find bugs once the public testnet goes live. I still believe that Sinovate is one of the best low cap coins out there with all that the project has going for it right now and its only going to get better once IDS is released.

AceD is now #1 on CoinMarketCap Biggest Gainers list. Check it out!

the rank is down now

but, my big hope this rising price of Aced  will continue, not only a trap my friend

Every crypto goes up and down so when you put it that way then every crypto can be a trap. AceD has already had several price rises in the past few weeks the thing was not many knew because CMC were not adding the UniSwap volume and that is why AceD was not showing up in the top gainers. AceD would of been in the top gainers many times already and one more thing to add, AceD is still a long way off its ATH so I think there is still room for growth and the pool on UniSwap is over 80% of the community and not the team unlike most other tokens on there which are just pump and dumps with no real product where as AceD has already released its product, AceDBets.
769  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: July 29, 2020, 11:35:32 PM

Can the tennis season still be saved this year or is the tennis story over this year?

Seems that the tennis tournament this year will be ending on the sad note. Only few have remained in the schedule but most likely they will also be cancelled as the pandemic is not slowing down. I guess we can't do anything but to wait till next year, but it the conditions didn't improve or worsen then I don't expect tournaments to resume, specially Grand slams.

This pandemic has ruined the world and our lives thanks to China. Every other sporting event is either getting cancelled or postponed. I do not know how many more days, months and years we need to live our lives like this. I hope scientists find a vaccine to eradicate this disease from earth as soon as possible.

Everybody needs to adapt and it is for sure not easy; but I am afraid Covid 19 will be here for a while.

On topic: apparently also Osaka and Andreescu will skip the US open this year ...
source: https://www.essentiallysports.com/tennis-news-wta-bianca-andreescu-and-naomi-osaka-reportedly-to-skip-us-open-2020/

We could see a lot more in the coming days as the situation with the virus in the US doesn't seem to be slowing and more players electing not to enter the US Open which is a shame because we would like to see all the top players attending but we can understand why they choose not to attend. I do think that tennis must push on like other sports are doing but as long as the people running the tournaments do the right thing by protecting the players and staff as best they can.
770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [AceD]🔥[Cold Staking]🔥[Sports Betting] [🎮Gaming🎮] on: July 29, 2020, 11:31:18 PM
CMC is now reporting Uniswap trading price and volume, I expect this to get the attention of people that use CMC as their first place to look at a project for more information. Very nice!

Yeah finally CMC have added the UniSwap volume as its been weeks we have been waiting for this and now people that come will see the correct stats as we were seeing many people come into the Discord and Telegram asking why the stats on CMC were not showing UniSwap volume. AceD has been on fire the last few weeks and would of been in the top gainers on CMC many times already so it will be interesting to see if AceD does rank in the top gainers now that the volume on UniSwap is now showing.

I'm looking forward to seeing the new update on AceDBets as the user experience will be a whole lot better once it is complete.

@Kees

I know you are busy with txbit and working on the second use case for Solaris, after all this is complete will you please give us a roadmap on what you have planned for AMS in the future? Will there be a use case something similar to what I just read in the Solaris Discord about a payment provider, I think that will also be great for AMS as well. AMS does have a loyal following and have stuck with the project for a long time now so we are all waiting for that day we get some news on the future plans for this project.
772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Triangles [TRI] - low supply X13 PoS over TOR with secure messaging on: July 28, 2020, 11:21:32 PM
TRI will go to MARS!!!!!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mars

Well TRI can easily start to rocket if it is listed on a known exchange as I believe that staking will be the next big trend in the next year or so for crypto and I think that staking coins that have a long history and active team will do well and TRI could be one of them.

This is probably the most undervalued chain in all of the planet. Tri is a special coin and like someone once told me about TRI, "Tri Wont Be for everyone."

I imagine Tri's space dust as it takes off to Mars will be worth more than we can conceive at the moment.

If you are reading this friend I believe you more each day that you were right "Tri Wont Be for everyone." hopefully we can all remember these times look back
with a smile and say we are glad we maintained the network and received our rewards.

This is why I continue to stake TRI even though there is no developments. The chain is running smoothly for years so it doesn't need updating but I do think that TRI needs some sort of use case to really help it move forward. Once ETH switches over to staking we'll see a lot more people looking for other staking coins like TRI and I do believe they will look for ones that have been online for years and with active development which is what's missing with TRI.

Your correct in everything you wrote but most important to remember is that during the maturation of the POS stake era that is coming, you can imagine what a major listing for TRI on a major exchange like Binance would do. I also want to remind people that implementation of code during that time will be more mature, as will be the market and the direction of crypto in general. What does that mean for TRI? Simple. Developers of TRI if they wish, could implement proven development code relevant to a mature market of that time which will like I said be proven not speculative like they are at the moment on other coins. Many other coins have died and faded away but TRI continues to secure itself and its future, proving itself as a store of value, because people perceive, people believe and have an instinctual understanding of the importance of TRI thus the network is secured just as bitcoin is secured.

I agree mate which is why I still hold and stake TRI as its one of the longest running PoS blockchains out there and like you I believe that people will be attracted to a PoS coin that has a long running chain unlike most that have died or will be just starting out. TRI is primed to be a front runner when the time comes as long as the dev team are active because that's also what people want to see when buying into a project, a active team.

I thought that usually nowadays bets should be settled automatically. or at least very fast. And very fast is withn 10 minutes after the result after the game.
With the technology nowadays, this should be one condition. The time that books settle it manually should be in the middle ages.

Brandonlang: is it still not solved?

ya.ya.yo!

In the next update bets will be settled automatically. This is what the team are currently working on which is why there are some delays with bet settlements and withdrawals. This should all be fixed with the new update as the current provider that AceDBets is using isn't up to today's standard.

775  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: July 28, 2020, 11:07:13 PM
This was to be expected from the WI as they have not been a good test team for many years now and always crack under pressure. Yes I did pick them to win the first test match as I thought that both teams would be even after there was no cricket played for many months due to the virus so both teams didn't have match fitness or no form which is why I bet on the WI. It was always going to be tough to beat England on home soil once the England team could back into form which we saw in the second test and they continued on with that form into the third test and won the series which most here expected. Congrats to Stuart Broad on reaching 500 test wickets, I think he still has a few more years in him so we could see reach 600 wickets in the near future.
776  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: July 26, 2020, 12:01:26 AM
According to this article by the Index portal, https://www.index.hr/sport/clanak/tenis-se-u-2020-nece-igrati-u-kini/2200515.aspx  Tennis will not be played in China in 2020.
Tennis Professionals Association (ATP) and Women's Tennis Association (WTA) had to accept the Chinese government's decision to cancel all international sporting events in China in 2020.
Thus, the only Asian Masters 1000 tournament in Shanghai, the 500 series tournament in Beijing and two 250 series tournaments in Chengdu and Zhuhai will not be held and many other tournaments.
This is certainly a big blow to the continuation of tennis competitions this year, along with all the other problems due to the cancellation of the US Open by some players.
Can the tennis season still be saved this year or is the tennis story over this year?

The US Open is still going ahead and the French Open unless that has changed already? So no tennis isn't over for this year, maybe for China but the rest of the world seems to want tennis to be played. The problem is that there are strict quarantine rules in place for most countries which makes it hard but I don't think it is the end of tennis this year. At least we get to see some tennis played even though the top ranked players won't be playing at all the tournaments.
777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.10.0 on: July 25, 2020, 11:57:24 PM
one of the best cryptocurrencies at the moment, and the best investment in the short term

Totally agreed with you Dogecoin showing amazing performance at the moment and the breakout looking very solid. I also think it will continue with strong support of the community because the people love this coin so much and that is the strength of this magical coin.

Doge isn't the only one as almost all alts are doing well right now. I do think that Doge might of found its support above 30 sats which is good as we move into the next altcoin cycle. We just never know what can happen in crypto so it would surprise me to see 100 sats in the next cycle.
778  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: July 25, 2020, 11:51:43 PM
Windies team will be hoping for the weather to help them in this test match. Also this performance of windies team is not something new. They are not one of the best teams while England is the world champs, so this performance of  windies is expected. I don't understand why people hope good performance by the lowest rating team.

I don't think the weather can help the WI as we saw in the last test match it didn't save them. England are in a strong position right now and I think we'll see England bowl them out for less then 200 and England will bat again and put it out of reach for the WI. Its a shame that the WI team can't handle the pressure which is what lets them down a lot of the time. After the first test match it was looking like it could be a good even series but that all changed and now its just one sided.

The thing is that no one else seems to have any problems with using AceDBets except the same two individuals that keep posting in here. Yes there are delays with bet settlements as even I have had to wait 24-48 hours for my bets to be settled but the team are working on it and hopefully next week the new update will be released.
