761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin price Christmas 2017 on: August 22, 2017, 11:15:30 PM
My bet is 7-8K because of the hard fork happening on November. The free money from the hard fork will push the price higher for bitcoin. All those free money will be converted back to bitcoin just like what happened when bch hard fork happened.
762  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is $4000 the perfect time to buy on: August 22, 2017, 11:07:54 PM
There is no perfect time or price to buy bitcoin, but you can always buy the dip. Just like early this week the price dropped to 3600, you should have bought that. If it drops again, buy that dip again. We know bitcoin always recover so buying the dip is the right timing to buy.
763  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bittrex or Bitfinex on: August 22, 2017, 07:30:53 PM
Bitfinex got hacked before and users have lost thousands of bitcoin because of security loop hole bitfinex had so I suggest you to not use them.

Bittrex in other hand can be considered as safer exchange with lots of trading volume and coin pairs till now, but never keep all your cryptos in echange wallet.

I lost trust to bitfinex as well when they got hacked last year. Though they paid their customers eventually but that did not bring my trust back. I trade at bittrex right now. Before that it was polo, but polo have problems recently.
764  Economy / Speculation / Re: SELL NOW, big bitcoin dump! No fud. on: August 22, 2017, 06:06:49 PM
But how long bitcoincash mining will be profitable ? When more people will rush into it then we are going to have similar situations like what we are having right now with bitcoins.

You are right. Difficulty will adjust and it will be as hard to mine as bitcoin but the price is cheaper. They will lose profit and will have to switch back to bitcoin.

I wonder why it is not yet reaching zero yet.

Because someone rich is backing the coin and pumping it?

765  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC till 23 August on: August 22, 2017, 05:22:54 PM
Above 4000$ just what it was last week. It is slowly recovering since it dropped to 3600$ and it is clearer that it will try to break the 4500 barrier again this week. But if the new FUD posts coming out spook the noobs and dump their coins, then it will be down but not that much. Near to 3800$ if FUD prevails.
766  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The advantages of bitcoin on: August 22, 2017, 05:06:50 PM
The people who work in bitcoin develops the ability to reason out, enhanced the English proficiency

These are not advantages of bitcoin. These are benefits of joining a forum and specifically for non-english speakers only.

Bitcoin gives me the freedom to choose between fiat and digital currency. It gives me the freedom to send money internationally without a third party getting involved.
767  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are fees going so high? on: August 22, 2017, 04:32:07 PM
The last time I send tx fees are lower than the usual fees I pay. But if you think the fee is still overpriced, you can always use lower fees and then use viabtc accelerator to hasten the transaction fees.
768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IRS Now Has a Tool to Unmask Bitcoin Tax Cheats on: August 22, 2017, 03:41:39 PM
So can this software still track bitcoin if it goes in a mixer before the user cash out? Isn't mixer suppose to make the coins clean and erase all the tracks? If it does, then its a battle between IRS' software and Mixer's mixing capability.
769  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Still Have to Buy Anything Using Bitcoin on: August 22, 2017, 08:14:29 AM
Both, spend some and hodl some. I have needs that cannot wait for bitcoin to reach above 10K so I have to spend or convert to fiat. But those I can save, I hodl for long term.
770  Economy / Speculation / Re: SELL NOW, big bitcoin dump! No fud. on: August 22, 2017, 06:56:26 AM
Once this kind of posts come out, you'll know they are trying hard to bring bitcoin down. The more reason to buy bitcoin because they are trying hard but they can't drag bitcoin down. Always buy the dip and this is a good opportunity right now.
771  Economy / Economics / Re: A wise strategy for your bitcoin on: August 22, 2017, 06:17:38 AM
You timed the market this time and made you some profit. But what happens if the price keeps falling? That is the risk you are taking of you are trading. You can hodl some of your bitcoins and another part for trading. Or just buy the dip, it is proven profitable as well.
772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you store your altcoins? on: August 22, 2017, 02:39:42 AM
If it is just a small amount or used for trading, then I keep it in the exchanges I bought them. But if it is a large amount or for hodling, I install its wallet in a desktop and use the wallet for safe keeping. Keeping coins is risky so I keep long term investment in desktop wallet.
773  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as Online Gaming Currency on: August 21, 2017, 01:21:48 PM
There are already games allowing to buy game credits using bitcoin. And i see no difference  with buying using fiat. But nice try.
774  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Value on: August 21, 2017, 01:00:45 PM
Very achievable right now, and there is still another hard fork coming. That might push the price higher again. There is no telling how high bitcoin can be at the end of the year. But one thing is for sure, it is a very profitable year.
775  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin break $4500 this week? on: August 20, 2017, 04:38:57 PM
Last week bitcoin try to break $4500 about three times but to no avail! I think  above $4500 is possible before the end August as the momentum is very high and bitcoin Cash has rise significant for the past two day to close at $870 yesterday, I think very soon bitcoin Cash traders will start to take profit and fund will flow back to bitcoin.

If there are still bitcoiners holding their free bch they will probably dump at this price. But if majority of bch is from ver and co, then it will stay that way for quite a time. They pump this coin, they'll make it stay that way. And price of bitcoin may still go down if they decided to pump bch more using their stash bitcoin.
776  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I NEVER discard private keys even after spent? on: August 20, 2017, 04:25:53 PM
It is just unsafe if you store all your private keys especially if you store it digitally. You might mix empty with have content and if it gets hack, you lose your bitcoin. I destroy empty privates keys of empty addresses since I create new address for new transactions.
777  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Help with poker on: August 20, 2017, 04:12:20 PM
Someone can recommend me some poker sites that give freeroll for Tournaments I just start with poker and it looks like I'm good and I want to play in Tournaments but at the moment I do not want to spend my money until I learn enough thanks

It is bad idea to do poker when you are not sure you are really good in it. You will just lose to professionals when you join tournaments. Get experience by playing poker with your friends, then level up by going to small casinos. Once you have experience and solid poker face, then do tournaments.
778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are you moving from BTC to Bitcoin Cash? on: August 20, 2017, 04:05:46 PM
Nope, i am not pumping bitcoin cash or want to be a bag holder. I am happy with how bitcoin is now. I see the price decline as a correction. And it has not yet lower than its support, so it is still very okay.
779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin on the rise so what is the future of altcoins on: August 20, 2017, 03:56:13 PM
The price of bitcoin continuously rose from july until lately. So the price of altcoins go down because some people may dump altcoins for bitcoin to take advantage of the price. But once it settles down, they will buy the low priced altcoin and will push the price back up. So now is actually a good time to buy alts because they are in discount
780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoincash gains more support on: August 20, 2017, 02:17:37 PM
Bitcoin cash has been flying into the sky the last week but do you folks think it have the same potential or greater as bitcoin itself?

It was soaring because it is being pumped. And that is all there is with bitcoin cash, just a pump and dump coin. Just wait for the dump, it will happen soon.
