761  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do we ALWAYS have FUD on the 2nd-3rd weeks of January?? on: January 17, 2018, 04:28:29 PM
There is FUD all year long, all the time. That is why I'm not sure if these FUDs are totally responsible for the big drop in price we are seeing at this moment, even with fake news going on and Chinese bans, BTC showed strength last year and overcome spectatives, now this, below $10.000 already...
762  Economy / Economics / Re: short term investment or long term invesetment on: January 17, 2018, 03:13:09 AM
In my opinion, it depends on how much money you have. Going for long term investment when you are in need of money might be a bad decision to make while short term investment has its risk but the income can be rewarding. Its all about playing the odds, thinking of different possibilities that can make your money grow its value. To be honest, I am not financially stable so I would settle for short term investment for now. I will trust my instinct and take some risk. Its different for everybody. What we can do is to just hope for the best.

I think it's really upon to each person, as you say. The best option for me, might not be the best for you. We should always calculate what will be more benefical for us, the long investment return or the short investment return. Sometimes it's better to wait a little bit more to have a bigger financial return than investing for a short time period to earn low profit, and vice-versa. As OP considers a long term investment minimum 10 years, I think it's only adviced if the person has a decent source of income and isn't in financial needs often.
763  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: YoBit withdraw high fee on: January 16, 2018, 11:23:54 PM
They use fixed fee rates. If you want to withdraw $1 or $100 in DOGEs or any other currency, doesn't matter, the fee will be the same...
764  Economy / Economics / Re: how can the beggars access Bitcoin? on: January 16, 2018, 11:12:17 PM
Well, the beggars can go to public libraries with internet access and start begging online to earn some pennies...  Cheesy

I don't believe all paper money will be changed to Crypto-Currency, people don't live in a virtual world, in a material world we need material stuf and paper money is part of it. Surely it can decrease a lot in amount, but not disappear completely. Step by step paper money loses its influence and the internet/informatic reaches in more and more places, it's a gradual transformation.
765  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: January 16, 2018, 08:27:38 PM
i was using this sites  since 2015. but i didnt got any huge prices. only 100s of sats. thats costs  nothing today.

If you are using it since 2015 you should have claimed 400 satoshis a lot every hour.
Comparing to the currently BTC's rates, it would be about $0.0464 minimum prize every hour. So it worths on long term.
766  Economy / Speculation / Re: DON'T PANIC. HOLD YOUR BITCOIN. on: January 16, 2018, 06:36:39 PM
It's quite simple, if the price is lower than your expectations, then you either buy some more, or you hold what you already have. If the price is higher than what you expect, then it's time to consider selling, unless you want to continue holding for even bigger and better rewards down the road. A good trader will never sell on the way down. Every market is volatile, but BTC takes it to another level. Just need to wait out the storm, there are brighter days coming.

Yes hodling Bitcoin isn't that easy as many expect it to be in the beginning.
Even hodling can be very stressful.
Watching your potfolio going down in value 40+ percent in a matter of days or weeks and shitcoins pumping like hell makes many people asking themselves if they are doing the right thing. This is the moment where men separate from the boys.
I mean we are down to 13-14k and ranging like 3-4 weeks. So many people have no patience cause they were used to this 2 year constant up moves.
Imagine 6 months of sideways and every up move getting destroyed. I could imagine lots of newbies losing faith and selling the bottom.

I would say for now the situation is under control yet. The support price is near $10.000, and BTC is pricing $11.000 at this moment, predictable scenario. Bitcoin had two alternatives some days ago, to pump to a new record/resistance line price, or to dump to the support line, what is happening now.

It's indeed very disappointing to see our money losing price so fast like this, but if we are here it's because we trust Bitcoin and everything it represents, on the long term it won't deceive us. After a big storm, the lull comes, then prosperous winds approaches again.
767  Economy / Economics / Re: Will there ever be a Bitcoin Bank on: January 16, 2018, 06:00:08 PM
With Bitcoin with have a decentralized option to deal with money in our lifes, what didn't exist anymore by some years ago in our modern days. And seems after achieving it, people want to go back and adopt a centralized service again! Why to do this if we don't need "middlemen" here to make investments, move and apply money? We are on the control of our own money.

But if there are customers there will be businesses offering a centralized service to them and it's already happening. I believe the "Bitcoin Bank" are those third party services offering investment options, sometimes with AltCoins, offering higher returns than you could make by yourself.
768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin Die because of global Regulations? on: January 16, 2018, 05:08:19 PM
It can decrease the Crypto-Currencies power on short time period, but can't defeat it totally. Bitcoin is always adapting itself to the moment circumstances, and following this Bitcoin's pattern, all the others AltCoins do the same. And it's usually very hard to say why a dumping is happening, if there is a legit reason behind it, of if it's just traders acting on purpose, to play with currencies prices and make extra profit by these fluctuations caused by them, so probably the dump isn't leading the currency to die, it's not interesting for anyone.
769  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market crash ? on: January 16, 2018, 04:27:40 PM
I heared South Korea rumors were fake, they aren't going to ban or forbid anything. I can't see any reasonable reason behind this big dump, only chinese efforts to control their people and forbid them to access online exchanges to deal with Bitcoins, as usual. But is it enough to cause so big fluctuation in BTC price?
770  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is a bitcoin REALLY worth? on: January 13, 2018, 08:31:48 PM
There are a lot of informations on your topic. I would start saying Hillary Clinton has never been so well like polls said. Bitcoin as we can see is really good and doing well, opposite from the first situation... It's a fact and there isn't a way to camouflage BTC situation this point, what we see is real.

I don't think BTC will replace fiat, but they can coexist in harmony without problems. A revolution isn't needed, but some changes are. One doesn't need to defeat other to show its strength, people can use both and live well.

The money each one of us can make it's upon to ourselves and it will depend our "luck" and knowledge about Crypto-Currency market. In 2018 Bitcoin will get even more power, as the demand is increasing fast and the supply isn't that high. However, exact prices are impossible to be predicted.
771  Economy / Economics / Re: Many new rich people are created from Bitcoin on: January 10, 2018, 06:34:44 PM
I would agree to this actually not just rich but many become financially independent now because of the income they earn from bitcoin. I heard a lot of good stories from my friends about how bitcoin make their lives even much better some was able to buy their own car others new gadget and many were able to make savings for their future. I hope bitcoin will continue to grow and help many people

Yes, it's constantly happening with those who adopted Bitcoin on their lives, especially those who are already using the currency for few years. And for this reason, new people are adopting Bitcoin on their lives too, hoping to have the same success and financial success like others. I heared a story about a guy who sold his house to buy Bitcoins and turned it into hundreds of thousands of Dollars and became a businessman, I imagine how proud of himself he is now.
772  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin fall again soon? on: January 10, 2018, 03:09:16 PM
I think there is a good chance bitcoin could head south again in the near future touching $10K or below before advancing to new ATH again
Uniquely the price of bitcoin was influenced by its popularity. Among the society there was a huge hype about crypto-currencies and that's why many people began to be interested in Bitcoin. Price went to the top. The price is unreasonable. Therefore, because of the many problems that are now manifested with the cost and duration of transactions and, many people are disappointed and the price will fall. I already observe that the price went down. Perhaps you are right, and Bitcoin go below $ 10,000.

I have seen predictions saying BTC can go to $11.000-$10.000 with this recent drop, but it also can give BTC more power to reach $15.000 again. The two scenarios are possible, we are on a crossroad now. ETH is getting stronger and Bitcoin Cash too while all other Crypto-Currencies lose price side by side with Bitcoin. I think if it continue happening for a long time it's not a good signal for Bitcoin, but with some effort it's possible to reverse the scenario.

774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Year of the "DOGE" on: January 08, 2018, 06:41:12 PM
No chance in hell, even though I think doge is a good coin for spending.  Low fees, quick confirmation--what's not to like about doge?  People say it's a silly meme coin, but at least it's useful unlike bitcoin has been recently.  You definitely don't have to spend $45 in network fees just to send $150 or less.  That's how bad bitcoin has been, and doge has never been like that.

I can't believe doge is over 1 cent/doge.  Never ever thought I'd see that, and of course it happened after I fucking sold everything.  Ugh.

Although the reply is harsh, I somehow agree with it. I think it would be a long shot for doge coin to have that much value. It has been established years ago and has been present since; however, it's value have never risen that much since its onset. Also, I don't want to qualify, but since the coin was borne in China, many people seems to be a bit doubtful about it, since China is one of those countries that are tight, if not, disapproving of how the cryptocurrency market works that they even banned or controlled the use of bitcoin in their country.

DOGE is a nice, sympathetic currency, but that is it... People are friendly to DOGE, but nothing more than this, I believe it's a currency without ambitions to rise and become one of the top Crypto-Currencies. It will probably continue as an alternative secundary currency being used in key moments when BTC is too expensive to use. 2018 is the year of Bitcoin, consequently some AltCoins will have their prices increased too.
775  Economy / Economics / Re: 18% of Investors Buy Bitcoin With Borrowed Money on: January 07, 2018, 06:47:18 PM
People are putting all their hopes in BTC, and that isn't all. There are people that borrow money from banks without worring about paying 3x the amount borrowed back. Others sell everything they have to buy Bitcoins, what is much equally or risker than borrowing money. They are sure Bitcoin will continue profitable for a long time yet, 10%-20% profit people can make playing here with simple trading at exchanges without a large knowledge.
776  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When do you know its time to Stop? on: January 07, 2018, 04:38:05 PM
If you have a high tendency to not stop until busting, then I came across these tips which do help:

  • Don't put all your available bankroll directly in the game (in case you're using deposits). Leave always at least half outside as a security measure if you go bust.
  • One must stop after reaching a certain goal, The goal should be predetermined and shouldn't be changed during the play.
  • If you're doing really good, withdraw part of your earnings (if you can, ofc) to avoid losing it all in one go.

Having a big bankroll can make you feel falsely safe in that "oh I'll just keep increasing my bet until I win" but alas, the 30 reds in a row do exist, and will come. Do not let them take it all.

The goal you make should be realistic and firm, Don't change it or else be prepared to face bad consequences.

You gotta fight back the voice that screams inside your brain "Come on, double again and we recover!".
Very nice. All I say is very nice. Well, in gambling in order for you to not lose all of your hardship you need to have goal. Let's just say in this day your goal is $1000 then after you reach $1000 stop the game no more reasons no more because. What if I win more? No more what if's! Your goal is your only goal! Because if  you become greedy and want some more there are big possibilities that you will going to lose all of your earnings and profit. In order to win, quit the game after you got what is your goal.

And if you lose all your bankroll before you hit the $1000 goal? It can happen and goals aren't a guarantee of profit on long term. You can try it once and make it work, but after few days you will see the strategy will stop working and you will lose more money you are earning. I think goals are a good way to organize your game and don't lose money you will need later, but worthless to make profit anyway.
777  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin gambling is legal? on: January 07, 2018, 04:19:11 PM
I think it's not illegal and legal because there are no rules about it.
There is/are rules about it. If you are living in a country that is religious then gambling is no doubt illegal on it but if you're living in such a nice country that is allowing people to gamble and they are taxing people's profit and as well as the establishment then there's no need to worry on it, they are legal on those places.

I think it's not only about religion. Evolved countries allow gambling (and they are religious/conservative), while poor countries don't. Evolved people know very well how to deal with gambling on their countries, they can live with it without becoming addicted and without ruining their lives and their economy. I really don't understand why poor countries are against gambling as it could generate an interesting income for the public coffers.
Wrong, most of the countries that aren't wealthy enough does have a lot of gambling place that exists. And to those countries that aren't allowing it are the ones who are mostly rich and doesn't want to let their citizens involve with such activity because they know what will be the return to their people.

I'm not sure... USA is a rich country and allows gambling, some principalities (that are wealthy places) the same. Now look third world countries, muslim countries, latin america countries, they don't like gambling and don't allow their citizens to play. Gambling is benefical if regulated in the countries as it will return money in services to the population (the basic services).

779  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Simplysato - Satoshi clicker game, Tons of upgrades, Offline earnings on: January 03, 2018, 01:05:53 AM
The progress is too slow in my opinion

I think the game is fine, the only progress I would like to see is low withdrawl threshold.

25.000 satoshis is too much and even 10.000 satoshis would be too much...

I hope to see something interesting soon. Anyway, better to don't expect much from upgradeable faucets.  Cheesy

FaucetHub is on the way, and the threshold will be lowered to 100 Satoshi for small payments, and will remain to 25000 Satoshi on direct payments though.

100 satoshis is going to be nice. I'm sure it will also help to increase the number of users on your site, people that usually run away from high threshold faucets.

EDITED: Hey, seems the new shortlink (linkrex) is in looping mode too. I'm solving the third shortlink in sequence.
780  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: bitcoin prices not rising! should we trade or hold? on: January 03, 2018, 12:11:12 AM
Bitcoin price is near $15.000 again, it's time to hold. If you bought cheaper than this, you can sell if are in a hurry to make profit (but never sell all your BTCs), or you can wait some time and see what happens. There isn't how to lose money with BTCs nowadays, just don't sell cheaper than you bought!
