781  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can you give me some update on block size situation? on: July 05, 2016, 08:22:46 AM
the miners want bigger blocks and they will fork soon if this thing will not happen
782  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HashOcean.com Scam or legit plz on: July 05, 2016, 12:05:48 AM
Yo, people know they shouldn't invest what they can't afford to loose.
I took my bet with them aswell and after getting arround 500$ out of it, I invested 460 back and got back arround 170 from them so I'm still good for it.
I had my suspicions it was a ponzi and it wouldn't make me the next Warren Buffet or even a rich blond presidential candidate that will not be named, and even if I lost, I still won something.
Too bad for those who lost big, hope they can get over it and learn from their mistakes.

Almost every website that is providing this services are scamming businesses its mostly just a matter of time before they will disappear.
I think we should not even use these websites anymore there are all ponzi's and very bad too.

no ponzi, not BTC. they are related, kids Smiley

Skam!

I sent 0.1 BTC to the same address as the link provided and I have received nothing. I provided them with my HashOcean email account and also provided a bitcoin wallet address. I should have received payment within 6 hours but 24 hours later nothing. /// I tried to send them the email from my registered HO email but it came back undelivered - they have blocked all members (registered emails) from emailing support@hashocean.com. I tried the email in the link provided by scam artist above and it came back undelivered - the email said support@hashocean.com but I used the email provided which means that the refund email goes to the same email as the original hashocean email address ----SO HASHOCEAN FIRST STEALS OUR MONEY AND THEN USES THE MEMBERS THEY HAD TO SCAM SOME MORE MONEY FROM //// I then sent the same email from another email address I have phpe. . . . . and it went through (meaning they received it). I followed their instructions, but received no email and they got another $68 out of me . . . (ashamed to admit my foolishness but I would be due approximately 26 Bitcoin so I tried) This kind of behaviour against the Bitcoin / altcoin / crytocurrency community needs to be stopped . . .

Grow up, kid Smiley

hashocean was only ONE from hundreds of HYIPs which accept BTC along with other e-currencies.

didn't you think before putting your money in it that it's impossible to last something who offers 3%-5% per day? Smiley
784  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Final countdown [10 Days before the halving] on: July 03, 2016, 11:27:56 PM
I am just wondering if you guys have any plans on where to put your bitcoins when the Halvening is 1 day away. You will sell your bitcoins? Put the value of your bitcoins on altcoins instead? More than half of the bitcoin mining is located in China, what will happen there will cause a chain reaction. How much of their miners will stop since they will mine already at a loss after the halving. What will happen to the speed of the bitcoin transactions? Will it be causing a very slow transactions and what will be the effect of this on the trading on exchanges. Will people start putting the value of their bitcoins to ETH and Litecoin instead?

95% from miners are from China. Part of them  have stolen electricity and other part has it very cheap. they will be on profit anyway. Smiley
785  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Final countdown [10 Days before the halving] on: July 03, 2016, 11:23:34 PM
I think its really an historic markpoint in the history of bitcoin,if the price doesn't rise during the halving, bitcoin will remain a niche currency.
of course it is a really historical moment in my opinion, we will definitely see something new in bitcoins and that will be really cool because i have never seen something like that

only 5 days are left right now till this huge event, if this will make me some profit out of the bitcoins i already have i would definitely then sell some of my bitcoins most probably

You seem very excited! if the price remains at these levels the event could not be so huge as you think,
but if the opposite happens then yes you had reason to be excited.

most of the BTC users are not interested about price. BTC is just a tool and once they get any BTC, they withdrawn to cash instantly  Smiley
786  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Final countdown [10 Days before the halving] on: July 03, 2016, 11:07:56 PM
I think its really an historic markpoint in the history of bitcoin,if the price doesn't rise during the halving, bitcoin will remain a niche currency.

it cannot be otherwise.

BTC is an e-currency and it's and it will remain a niche for black market, ponzies mainly.
787  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockstream wants to rewrite the bitcoin whitepaper on: July 03, 2016, 04:19:22 PM
A lot of the things in the Constitution has changed, but the original constitution is still there for everyone to read.... the same goes for the Bitcoin whitepaper... it will always be there in it's original format

and nobody can change that. We are like kids afraid of the dark... we see things that are simply not there. The basic building blocks for this technology cannot change and the fact is that the original document

is still out there... I believe this to be another FUD attempt from the Blockstream haters out there.  Roll Eyes

it depends in what country you live. most of the countries have updated their Constitutions during the years. yes, you can see the originals in museums but the new ones are enforced. Smiley

also you cannot compare a Constitution with a...software. Do you still use Windows 3.1? I think not. Why? Smiley
788  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockstream wants to rewrite the bitcoin whitepaper on: July 03, 2016, 04:04:07 PM
WTF cares about black, yellow, pink paper? all it matters is the cash Smiley

BTC is outdated anyway and it should be upgraded. Why do you buy new phones, new computers? keep the ones from 2009.

The tech is advancing. You cannot maintain a software from 2009 without any improvement.

789  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockstream wants to rewrite the bitcoin whitepaper on: July 03, 2016, 01:43:34 PM
Oh my god the FUD is out of control. It was just one guy, that suggested to UPDATE the whitepaper and release it separately, not overwriting the original. And he got 0 support from the rest of blockstream members anyway so what the fuck are those FUDsters even talking about. Just stop it.

They are opinions not FUD. There so many fanatics and cultists here..pffffff.   Grin
790  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HashOcean.com Scam or legit plz on: July 03, 2016, 01:28:13 PM
So just to check if i have observated this correctly..

If a "cloudmining" site does the big exit. Then 100's of users are ready to use all their spare time to chase them down, write fake articles with bullshit information and connect hacker groups and feds, president of the united states and tintin?

Well what about all the scrypt.cc victims?
No big exit where made there. the site is still up and the admin is still playing the hope card.
Why isnt people just as pissed on scrypt.cc?
At least hashocean closed down and ended our misery. scrypt.cc? still playing with your heads and rubbing it in that you all got fucked.
But gone? nooo. still here and "blooming.."

After scrypt.cc went from bad to superbad one year ago. most users learned that there's no such thing as cloudmining and its all a HYIP bubble that is waiting to burst.
I had 6.5btc in scrypt.cc. my neighbour went in with 8btc and i know a guy that went in with over 200btc.
So why wont we get any hacker or feds attention?
Scrypt.cc has hustled just as much as hashocean. maybe even alot more. But we're ok with that since the site is still up and there's still "hope"?

One of the irc users claims that he is part of the anonymous. And they have no interest in chasing the admin down.
So why the fuck is everybody so interested in getting hashocean wich CLEARLY was a scam from the start?
Because of the big exit? Big exit's gets you burned. Put the btc in your pocket and run while you keep the site online and give false promises. Then youre good to go and most people accept that you stole their money. Because its still "hope"

And wtf is the thing about hackers have found several DC's? BULL FUCKING SHIT!
proof or it didnt happen Smiley

Oh.. and this is the kind of mood i had the day i got permbanned from #scrypt.cc on freenet.
Dont be mad at me for being right. Im just saying Wink

I am giving HashOcean little bit more time then setting up campaign to raise funds ($1 - $3 from each member) and then hire professional group to track them down  Cheesy

get a job instead.  Smiley

did you want to earn 3% per day without thinking that it's a ponzi? get out of here, kid ! Smiley
791  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Miners Revolt, Announces Plan to Hard Fork to Classic on: July 02, 2016, 03:52:11 PM
what documents do you need? do you think that you are talking with real corporations? it's mutual agreement between chinesses. Smiley

money dictates the way  Smiley  it's so simple.
792  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Miners Revolt, Announces Plan to Hard Fork to Classic on: July 02, 2016, 03:40:35 PM
the miners and the big exchangers are forming a gang. so, BTC belongs to them.

"Gang" is such a loaded word. The miners are free to cooperate with each other and with exchange owners. No racketeering laws in Bitcoin, that's outmoded statist thinking.
If cooperation serves the miner's rational self-interest (maximizes their monetary profit$), that's what they should do.

cartels(biz gang) means monopoly and price manipulation. this is what is happening. all the BTC trades are manipulated. if you are good with this then it's without ...words Smiley
793  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: New mining hardware for july on: July 02, 2016, 12:34:41 PM
most of chinesse miners have stolen electricity and other have arrangements with the electricity companies.they bribe/share profit with  the directors  of these companies and so on.

this is how the things are working in China Smiley
794  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Miners Revolt, Announces Plan to Hard Fork to Classic on: July 02, 2016, 12:23:08 PM

the miners and the big exchangers are forming a gang. so, BTC belongs to them. The shit nodes are not an issue. You can set up thousands in matter of days Smiley

conclusion: the miners + exchanger's gang will do whatever they want. the most of the BTC users will follow them like amenable sheep
795  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Miners Revolt, Announces Plan to Hard Fork to Classic on: July 01, 2016, 01:10:39 AM
In the hypothetical event this wasn't just a Twatter rumour started by Jihan Wu and 75% of the hash actually up and went to Classic, what recourse would the rest of us have? Aside from just dumping I mean.

you will find where the sheep are going. to "coreshit" or to miners shit Smiley   there will be NO difference
796  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Miners Revolt, Announces Plan to Hard Fork to Classic on: July 01, 2016, 12:09:18 AM
some people cannot simply accept that the miners like other individuals or companies are after pure profit and they don't care if BTC burn or not. this is a business and nothing more.

Of course, the miners are investing because they earn tons of money DAILY. they invest in hardware because a better hardware = more money/cash(not shit on walls) DAILY.

Is BTC going down/no more profit? OK! They earned ALOT and they will find other businesses where to "invest" Smiley
797  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTCC.com KYC Requirements - Suspicious Activity on: July 01, 2016, 12:05:25 AM
how you can provide your ID and other documents to a unlicensed company like BTCC?  pffff  Grin Grin Grin
798  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Miners Revolt, Announces Plan to Hard Fork to Classic on: June 30, 2016, 10:36:30 PM
If Luke's argument was "you already broke the agreement," you'd have a point. His argument is that there's no agreement to be broken, the signatories did not represent core, so haha. that sort of thing. Tipikal Luke jr. shit.
He's right. The individuals have never represented Core and they aren't able to do so easily anyways. It was clear that they can't promise a merge as this proposal would require evaluation and consensus like any other proposal.
/thread? what are we talking about?
No agreement, miners can do whatever they want, miners are doing whatever they want. Which is telling core devs to fuck off.
Which is cool, because that's how Bitcoin was designed to work: Everyone pursues his own best interests, whatever those may be, and, Math willing, shit should work out for the best.

Are you telling me you're an expert coder? GitHub link?
I may or may not be. I have claimed neither.
Now tell me I'm a fool to discount your opinion, when you don't even want to *tell* me you're a decent coder.
Imagine going under the knife, and the guy doing the surgery won't even tell you if he's really a surgeon or not?
False analogy my ass Cheesy

Correct ! Money talks !

The people should  put questions like : "Who are the "ShitCore" devs? who is paying them?"

Don't tell me they are doing it for free for the Bitcoin benefit  Smiley  There SO MANY interests in the BTC biz...
799  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Miners Revolt, Announces Plan to Hard Fork to Classic on: June 30, 2016, 09:56:13 PM
You have proven to be a dumbshit, as well it seems.

I'm arguing not to tell someone how to do their job.
Chinese Miner's are telling the Core Devs that they don't know what they are doing.

Well that's where the problem is, a misunderstanding.
No, the miners aren't telling the devs "that they don't know what they are doing." What they're telling them is they're not doing what they *promised to do*.
The interests of the miners are not the same as the interests of Core devs, see?

I'll give you an analogy, show you what I mean:
Let's say Core devs are building a railroad, and drawing pay from Mayor Mccheese.
The railroad can go through the plains, which will take it right through Hamburglar's Town, or it can go over the mountains, which would take it right through The city of Mccheese.

Now, many would argue that it makes more sense to build the railroad on the plains, because no need to blast. And many will tell you just the opposite, that the mountain route is better, because shorter.
Both are not wrong. But guess which way the railroad's gonna go tho?
See where this is going?

What if in your analogy there are bandits and blockades in the plains.
These bandits have the ability to stop the train, kill all the riders and destroy the train.
Do you still go through the plains knowing that?

I'm only telling you that the train is more likely to go through the mountains if Mccheese is paying the surveyors.
I'm probably not making myself clear, so here's what I'm really trying to say:
You think that there is a right way and a wrong way to build a railroad.
I'm telling you that there are *many* right ways to do it, and different people would profit depending on *which* right way is picked.
So it's not a question of "who is smarter, Core devs or miners, Mayor Mccheese or Hamburglar. It's a question of who would profit most from what route.

As I'm sure you are aware, you have been answering me under different usernames,
so either you are using multiple accounts or you guys keep answering and talking for each other (unlikely).
Either way, I do not really care since that is not important to the larger issue here. I'm just pointing that out.

I understand what you are saying in your analogy.
I think there is a right and wrong way, since the only right way is the way that protects the network from possible attacks.
Bitcoin is only valuable if it can resist or entirely prevent all possible forms of attacks or exploits.
The recent Ethereum situation is a perfect example. They and their community have chosen the plains, IMO.
There will be many more problems with Ethereum in the future because it was designed the wrong way.

I think there are right ways and wrong ways. Not all roads lead to the same place. Some have dead ends.

For someone/for anybody, if the "dead end" is millions of cash, it's VERY good. who cares what's happening with an e-currency(it does not matter the name; it could be Bitcoin) if I make millions NOW ?

"Someone" takes the money and never look back to any shit Bitcoin Core or Classic Smiley  Your talking about principles in a world without them .  Grin
800  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Miners Revolt, Announces Plan to Hard Fork to Classic on: June 30, 2016, 09:48:36 PM
Cross post from /r/bitcoin.

According to the Chinese translation, summary:

Core defaulted on HK consensus and doesn't honor 2M increase.

Chinese miners to unite to implement Classic which supports 2M increase and SegWit.

Urge all miners to unite to support the Terminator Plan - ( i think it implies to terminate Core's 0.13.1 which doesn't honor HK consensus).

This is truly a war by miners against CORE.

https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/4qk7et/wow_chinese_miners_revolt_and_announce_terminator/?

It looks like the Chinese mining cartel are now trying pull the strings.

they can do it and they will do it. money talks ! Smiley

wtf cares about Core of ShitCore or ShitClassic? it only matters the profit and nothing more. would you care about any Bitcoin shit if would make millions of USD now? NO! You will grab the money without looking back and done. Smiley
