Yo, people know they shouldn't invest what they can't afford to loose.
I took my bet with them aswell and after getting arround 500$ out of it, I invested 460 back and got back arround 170 from them so I'm still good for it.
I had my suspicions it was a ponzi and it wouldn't make me the next Warren Buffet or even a rich blond presidential candidate that will not be named, and even if I lost, I still won something.
Too bad for those who lost big, hope they can get over it and learn from their mistakes.
Almost every website that is providing this services are scamming businesses its mostly just a matter of time before they will disappear. I think we should not even use these websites anymore there are all ponzi's and very bad too. no ponzi, not BTC. they are related, kids  |

I am just wondering if you guys have any plans on where to put your bitcoins when the Halvening is 1 day away. You will sell your bitcoins? Put the value of your bitcoins on altcoins instead? More than half of the bitcoin mining is located in China, what will happen there will cause a chain reaction. How much of their miners will stop since they will mine already at a loss after the halving. What will happen to the speed of the bitcoin transactions? Will it be causing a very slow transactions and what will be the effect of this on the trading on exchanges.Will people start putting the value of their bitcoins to ETH and Litecoin instead?
95% from miners are from China. Part of them have stolen electricity and other part has it very cheap. they will be on profit anyway. |

I think its really an historic markpoint in the history of bitcoin,if the price doesn't rise during the halving,bitcoin will remain a niche currency.
of course it is a really historical moment in my opinion, we will definitely see something new in bitcoins and that will be really cool because i have never seen something like that only 5 days are left right now till this huge event, if this will make me some profit out of the bitcoins i already have i would definitely then sell some of my bitcoins most probably You seem very excited! if the price remains at these levels the event could not be so huge as you think, but if the opposite happens then yes you had reason to be excited. most of the BTC users are not interested about price. A lot of the things in the Constitution has changed, but the original constitution is still there for everyone to read.... the same goes for the Bitcoin whitepaper... it will always be there in it's original format and nobody can change that. We are like kids afraid of the dark... we see things that are simply not there. The basic building blocks for this technology cannot change and the fact is that the original document is still out there... I believe this to be another FUD attempt from the Blockstream haters out there.  it depends in what country you live. most of the countries have updated their Constitutions during the years. yes, you can see the originals in museums but the new ones are enforced. also you cannot compare a Constitution with a...software. So just to check if i have observated this correctly.. If a "cloudmining" site does the big exit. Then 100's of users are ready to use all their spare time to chase them down, write fake articles with bullshit information and connect hacker groups and feds, president of the united states and tintin? Well what about all the scrypt.cc victims? No big exit where made there. the site is still up and the admin is still playing the hope card. Why isnt people just as pissed on scrypt.cc? At least hashocean closed down and ended our misery. scrypt.cc? still playing with your heads and rubbing it in that you all got fucked. But gone? nooo. still here and "blooming.." After scrypt.cc went from bad to superbad one year ago. most users learned that there's no such thing as cloudmining and its all a HYIP bubble that is waiting to burst. I had 6.5btc in scrypt.cc. my neighbour went in with 8btc and i know a guy that went in with over 200btc. So why wont we get any hacker or feds attention? Scrypt.cc has hustled just as much as hashocean. maybe even alot more. But we're ok with that since the site is still up and there's still "hope"? One of the irc users claims that he is part of the anonymous. And they have no interest in chasing the admin down. So why the fuck is everybody so interested in getting hashocean wich CLEARLY was a scam from the start? Because of the big exit? Big exit's gets you burned. Well that's where the problem is, a misunderstanding. No, the miners aren't telling the devs "that they don't know what they are doing." What they're telling them is they're not doing what they *promised to do*. The interests of the miners are not the same as the interests of Core devs, see? I'll give you an analogy, show you what I mean: Let's say Core devs are building a railroad, and drawing pay from Mayor Mccheese. The railroad can go through the plains, which will take it right through Hamburglar's Town, or it can go over the mountains, which would take it right through The city of Mccheese. Now, many would argue that it makes more sense to build the railroad on the plains, because no need to blast. And many will tell you just the opposite, that the mountain route is better, because shorter. Both are not wrong. But guess which way the railroad's gonna go tho? See where this is going? What if in your analogy there are bandits and blockades in the plains. These bandits have the ability to stop the train, kill all the riders and destroy the train. Do you still go through the plains knowing that? I'm only telling you that the train is more likely to go through the mountains if Mccheese is paying the surveyors. I'm probably not making myself clear, so here's what I'm really trying to say: You think that there is a right way and a wrong way to build a railroad. I'm telling you that there are *many* right ways to do it, and different people would profit depending on *which* right way is picked. They and their community have chosen the plains, IMO. There will be many more problems with Ethereum in the future because it was designed the wrong way. I think there are right ways and wrong ways. Not all roads lead to the same place. Some have dead ends. For someone/for anybody, if the "dead end" is millions of cash, it's VERY good. who cares what's happening with an e-currency(it does not matter the name; it could be Bitcoin) if I make millions NOW ?
