1061  Economy / Exchanges / Re: So , Gemini exchange was a failure ? on: April 20, 2016, 01:12:05 AM
It's very, very expensive to maintain  a financial license. You need a lot of money monthly for salaries, accountant, due diligence shit, taxes, compliance, rent, lobby expenses, advertising and many, many other things.
It's a legit business and the legit businesses in the financial field are costing A LOT

Coinbase is doing the same. They have licences in almost all USA...much more expensive than Gemini. Smiley . IMO, they will go bankrupt if nobody will pump money in them(no stupids to "invest" in a black hole from where they will never see any money back).

The exchangers who have financial license cannot survive from exchanges. The fees are too low to cover everything. I don't say about any profit because it doesn't exist.

I think Coinbase is burning at least 200K-300K per month only to keep the business as it is. Gemini a little bit lower.

It's so funny. I am looking to Coindesk.com and other similar websites. They are promoting the financial licenses and the regulation even these things mean the end of Bitcoin as it is.

BTC with financial licensed exchangers will not exist anymore because it was not made for such things.
Regulation means the exchangers will be forced to ask you a lot of papers(as the banks do).

Then, why would someone still use BTC when you can trade/speculate gold/FX in the same conditions and with giant brokers and not with Bitstamp shit, Coinbase shit or Gemini crap?! Smiley

More than that, you have the peace of the mind that nobody will steal your "commodity" as it can happen with Bitcoin

1062  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: OpenBazaar Opened , your first impressions ? on: April 19, 2016, 03:46:23 PM
Openbazaar's open source delelopment looks like a joke, so bad the people at /r/buttcoin are making fun of it.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Buttcoin/comments/4f18b5/openbizarre_developer_gets_very_sad_locks_grammar/
For a new project you should not blame them for not being mature on all fronts. Maybe an open source developer wants to improve on this Wink

'Somebody should fork OpenBazaar to create OpenBazaar Classic so the initial euphoria can be sustained.'
LOL
OpenBazaar is a great initiative and project for buying with bitcoin.
Since its a new project we can expect some delays or misconfgurations but that is not to be discouraged them but we can expect full swing overall improvement very soon.

Hehe, NEW project but it's full of errors. It does not matter that it's new. It's a crap. Also, it costs 1 mil USD according to their website Smiley

1 million and they come with this shit?!?!?!? pffff. Something is wrong with these people and of course with the stupids investors.  Grin

You can hire IBM or any other giant software company with these money and they can create the software you may need not a crap which can be easily call  ; Open shit ERRORs bazaar

1063  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A warning to Bitcoin users believing this will take over payment systems on: April 18, 2016, 10:12:42 PM
VISA has a 2 month confirmation time, we'll be fine  Cool

VISA can be chargeback which is VERY GOOD because the frauds are so common these days.

BTC is a niche market and the people who are using it MUST admit it. BTC cannot replace anything. It's just an e-currency like e-gold.com was.

The debit/credit cards can be used anywhere, it takes seconds to make a purchase and you are "safe" in the way that you can make chargeback if you are scamed or if someone is stealing the money from card.

Now, try to make a charge back when you are using BTC Smiley  The common people needs safe not shit libertarians motto. BTC is very hard to understand by the common Joe and Joe is 99.999%
BTC market = over 80% black market and that means once a shit like SilkRoad was closed, the BTC value droped a lot. The rest of the market is for speculator and maybe 1% belongs to so called "normal" users.

I really don't see why someone would use BTC for anything except speculation, buying weed or things like that.
You lose money to fund your BTC account, you lose money when you want to withdrawn. Guess what?! I cannot pay my bills with Bitcoin or I cannot buy an icecream with it too. I need cash or card. Smiley

If you run a real eCommerce website and a customer wants to charge back, you can dispute the charge back IF you have proofs that you contacted the client, you identified it and he really made the purchase. It's your duty to make due diligence. Stay calm, nobody will make any charge back if you are an honest business man and you ship/deliver the items AND IF you have a good customer service. Of course, there is a little risk but that's why it's called business. Do you want a business with risk free?  Get real  Grin

What if your BTC is stolen overnight? Don't say that you have it in a cold wallet, bla bla because many others said the same and millions were stolen Smiley

So, make money/cash now by using BTC and that's it. BTC will end(will not be used, the value will go to zero) as any other e-currency ended in the past.
1064  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Silk Road Founder Ross Ulbricht Sentenced to Life in Prison on: April 18, 2016, 05:25:05 PM
not full but there are offers.
1065  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Halving is a profitable??? on: April 15, 2016, 05:56:29 PM
the chinesse miners will turn off their biz with Bitcoin once their profit will be much lower. They already earned a lot of money. I would do the same; no need for complications, for bargains with hardware manufactures. it's only business; no hard feelings Smiley

who cares about shit Bitcoin or any other e-currency? everybody cares about its pockets and it's something normal. each e-currency is a  "tool" to make real cash(money). it was the same with e-gold or liberty reserve
1066  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Silk Road Founder Ross Ulbricht Sentenced to Life in Prison on: April 15, 2016, 05:42:37 PM
in the mean time, OpenBazaar is opened and it's acting like SilkRoad.  Grin

1069  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: on: April 06, 2016, 12:41:36 PM
you will not get any money back if you are whining on forums. it's your fault that you didn't make due dilligence before making the purchase.

take it as a lesson and move your ass forward.

1072  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The GIANT Blockchain on: March 31, 2016, 05:20:04 PM
All this talk about bigger blocks. While all the talk about needing bigger blocks, people seem to be forgetting how GINORMOUS the blockchain is. Sure, it's only 63GB. Ignoring the space that this takes on a hard drive, that is HUGE! It has been almost a week now that I've been synchronizing a Bitcoin Core node with the network. I'm still 24 weeks behind. Yesterday I was 27 weeks behind. I suspect that it will probably be another week before the node has caught up.

We are only what - five or seven years into bitcoin? And it is only now starting to get serious use. How big is the blockchain going to be in another ten years? How big is the blockchain going to be when the last satoshi is mined?

Can something be done about this? Maybe having parts of the blockchain archived? Because the size of the blockchain might be another cause of centralization in a year or two. Who is going to run a node if it takes a month to synchronize?

nobody will use Bitcoin in 10 years. stay calm. Smiley

other innovative payment system will come till then. maybe you will be able to pay by using your fingerprint, or eye or...i don't know what device. BTC is a niche market and it will remain like that.

BTC is an e-currency which is now trendy like e-gold or libertyreverse were in the past. Smiley
1073  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price? Who is making it? on: March 31, 2016, 05:09:38 PM
the exchanger's robots are the ones who are manipulating the price. just like MTgox did it. Smiley

same "Willy bot"  Grin
1074  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price? Who is making it? on: March 31, 2016, 01:30:19 PM
It is made by supply and demand capacity, if more supply and slow demand = price dump, if more demand and low supply = price goes up

that means all the big exchangers(5-6) should have the same demand because their prices are almost the same which is IMPOSSIBLE !

it's an unregulated market, remember? so, one exchanger may have 100 orders for buy and none for sell and other 1000 for sell and 10 for buy.

1075  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Latin American economies are turning to bitcoin on: March 30, 2016, 10:45:53 PM
It is much cheaper than make own crypto, so they use Bitcoin with whole network. All Latin American countries are always thinking to get something without costs.  Grin

don't you want the same? Smiley  Yes, you do. Smiley
1076  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Piece of Shit Bitcoiners et al. Hall of Fame on: March 30, 2016, 10:37:56 PM
you may add ALL the unlicensed exchangers like Bitstamp, BTC china, Okcoin, Bitfinex, Btc-e and many others who are doing illegal financial transactions. aren't they Shit Bitcoiners? Yes, they are. Smiley

who cares about these persons while 90% from the BTC is used for illegal transactions(black market)? Smiley

here, the hypocrisy is in its house Smiley
1077  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin Exchange Cointrader Shuts Down After Alleged Hack on: March 30, 2016, 10:20:16 PM
this is what happens when you use UNLICENSED financial exchanger Smiley

you will see that when one of the biggest exchangers will fall. most of them has a PO BOX and are unlicensed.

YES, yes, Bitstamp, Bitfinex, BTC-e, BTC China and so on, are ALL simple companies.

Do not whine while you are using them. Smiley
1078  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price? Who is making it? on: March 28, 2016, 04:13:34 PM
so, there is a cartel of exchangers, right? otherwise, the price cannot be ALMOST the same ( few dollars difference) Smiley
1079  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Problems after halving if blocksize is not coming to a solution? on: March 27, 2016, 11:19:11 PM
who cares about chinesse miners who already earned MANY millions? anyway, everybody wants cash. nobody cares anybody.

make cash now and don't care what it will be in August Smiley
1080  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Piece of Shit Bitcoiners et al. Hall of Fame on: March 27, 2016, 11:10:24 PM
I will add "Gleb Gamow" because you are using unlicensed exchangers. Smiley

None of those from your list, was a financial licensed exchanger. So, those who used them, knew that there are risk. I don't care about them so your list is useless. Smiley

Use a financial licensed exchanger and you will have NO problems. Stop complaining about illegal exchangers while you encourage them by using their services.
