1241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Bitcoin is Dead" - Mike Hearn on: January 16, 2016, 04:28:14 PM
@pompatore thanks for posting this.

Interesting reading and I'm not so sure if it's wise to ignore all of this. If he's right BTC might go down rather sooner than later.

Of course, he is right. he was inside Bitcoin for years He knows many people(investors, exchangers, miners).

1242  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the Chinese pumpers pump BTC up again in the next 30 days? on: January 16, 2016, 03:28:39 PM
China was responsible for the current pump but was unable to rally enough people to join them and move beyond 500 in USD terms.

The question is, will they return and pump it up again in the next 30 days?

they may do it. it's easy to put the bots to work. all the exchangers are doing that. fake volumes, fake transactions...Smiley
1243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Bitcoin is Dead" - Mike Hearn on: January 16, 2016, 03:02:56 PM
Well maybe you are right. But if the price drops to much there will be a counter speculation. You can kill everything with a newspaper Smiley

This is a real news. Only stupids may think that BTC is not manipulated and it's not "own" by few people. The facts are clear.

Mike Hearn just revealed what any common sense person known : ". Bitcoin has no future whilst it’s controlled by fewer than 10 people"
1244  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price? Who is making it? on: January 16, 2016, 01:33:52 PM
How is it made the Bitcoin price?

How is it possible in a so called decentralized market, where the exchangers are(should be) independent entities, ALL of them to have the same price when they certainly don't have a "the same" order book(same clients, same orders) ? How is that come?

Can someone explain ?

without a "central" committee that decide price and make right and properly decision, only people "set" the right value.
It's like "far west"... you can also sell 1 btc for 10k $ or 1$ by convention I think best price is from preev.com

Correct but each exchanger has completely different orders(big, small), the number of orders are not the same too.
Example:
OKcoin claims to have a volume of 50,718.58   BTC
Bitstamp : 32347 BTC

Even so, their price is ALMOST similar. OKcoin = 369,7 USD  and Bitstamp 370 USD

The price should be made by sell and buy orders.  Remember, we are taking about "independent" companies and not a cartel. What kind of coincidence is that one exchanger to have the same kind of orders with other exchanger from other part of the world, DAILY?
1245  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price? Who is making it? on: January 16, 2016, 01:28:17 PM
All of them dont have the same price. That is why arbitrage occurs. Arbitrage brings the price close, but not same.

They have similar prices (1-2 usd plus or minus).... Smiley  Why?

1247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is DEAD... on: January 16, 2016, 12:50:32 PM
Okay so the main problem is that the size of the TX files is getting too big for the network to handle and the cap must be raised? Why is this not being fixed like right now?

the problem is the trust in a manipulated market. fake volumes, in a supposed decentralized market ALL the exchangers have the same price. How is come? Smiley  Nobody is asking itself. "hey, the BTC is not a centralized stock market. How is it possible that all the exchangers (the big ones) to have almost the same price for Bitcoin while they certainly they don't have a "the same" order book."

Mike Hearn was a VERY close friend with many BTC investors, exchangers, miners. He knows a lot of dirty "secrets" from the BTC market; who owns it, who manipulate it. So, I would rather trust someone like him than any BTC media like Coindesk who "was" owned by the same investors who owned BTC exchangers... so they have MANY interests.

1248  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin will rise again on: January 16, 2016, 12:43:38 PM
Common people, we had this FUD story milions of times by now.

This is designed to generate another profit taking wave. Dont be stupid, how many times do u need to lose money by selling low and buying high. Close the charts and come back in two weeks if u cannot resist the urge to sell.

The problem is the cycle repeats time and again. Weak hands lose money.
If you don't have the confidence to buy at these lows, the least you can do is resist the temptation to sell.

you cannot buy when you know the market is sinking. Smiley

so, "you" just have to wait or to sell in order to dilute the loss but NOT buying.
1249  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin drops $60 on: January 16, 2016, 12:33:47 PM
I think both Mike Hearn exit (who says he sold his coins too, and probably has close friends and relatives who did the same) and the cryptsy issue have a hand in this. By the way... it is a lot of coincidence isn`t it?

Think we should buy in lows, price should go up again.

Bitcoin price is sinking. Only the "small players" are keeping their BTC now and they will face big loses. BTC lost over 100 USD overnight and it's only weekend. The price will go down starting with Monday.

1250  Economy / Speculation / Re: 400 will not hold on: January 16, 2016, 12:29:14 PM
it will ONLY happen what the big exchangers want. they make the FAKE "book orders" with their bots. they manipulate the market in their own interest. Smiley

so, it will only happen what they want.

Anyone who don't buy Bitcoins now would miss a great opportunity to profit once it resurrects.

Yeah man !! This is very truthful !! Let's mark your words !!

I want to see some bitches crying here like "oh man, I sold my coins for U$370, now it's U$700, if I could back in time, oh man!" ihaoihaoihaoihaioahhaohaio It's like the beginning of 2014 when 1 BTC was sold to U$177. THIS IS AWESOME !!! KEEP SELLING YOUR BTC'S BITCHES !!!  Cool  Cool  Cool

selling is a smart choice if you see the boat is sicking. you limit the losses and you can wait for eventually better times.

Robo ATM closed, Cryptsy ran with millions, a BTC developer(very closed to many investors, exchange owners, miners) is saying many real things about what's going on inside of BTC.

"Bitcoin has no future whilst it’s controlled by fewer than 10 people"   VERY true!

1252  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: January 16, 2016, 12:15:19 PM
yes im still holding my btc   because i believe that  the price will grow up than last year Smiley

Exactly and that is the right thing to do, as we all are very much aware that the price of bitcoin would reach to a new level in the coming months and  we want that it should reach to a moon, its not possible but atleast if we are able to earn some  profits out of it then there is no major concern.

But the price is dropping now. Is this the last drop before the big rise we will see in a few months? Is so, I am not worried.

sell your BTC now to limit your loss or even to earn something IF you bought below 350 USD. Then wait until BTC will fall below 200 USD and you may buy after that. Smiley

why would you keep a such volatile commodity as Bitcoin? Just trade it and try to make profit or limit the losses. Speculation! Smiley
1253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Bitcoin is Dead" - Mike Hearn on: January 16, 2016, 12:11:00 PM
why should you buy now when the price will go below 200 USD? Smiley

you just have to sell what you have, take any profit or limit your losses and wait...
1254  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin will rise again on: January 16, 2016, 03:09:25 AM
in the mean time, BTC = 370 USD Smiley

the rest of the words are useless.
1255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Chinese miner's response to "Bitcoin is Dead" on: January 15, 2016, 04:54:32 PM
They are indeed  a super power even in controlling the bitcoin mining network I don't know if I am going to be sad or happy about this they have controlled on almost anything even claiming the whole of the china sea but having them in the development and running the bitcoin network is a healthy competition

what competition, with who? Smiley
1256  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Bitcoin is Dead" - Mike Hearn on: January 15, 2016, 04:38:03 PM
Why is Mike quitting now? Isn't it better to fight with reason and logic rather than with outrage?

He found a better job, a very well paid job. you will do the same. who care about Bitcoin, Shitcoin,Asscoin? The money, cash matters.

The people are not living with hopes and dreams. They need money to live, to pay the rent, the bills, the gas and so on.
1257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mike Hearns Bitcoin statements amount to price manipulation, on: January 15, 2016, 04:32:30 PM
surely someone for this event has earned / will earn 'a lot of money. the big boys are  playing their game

CORRECT! Smiley

and who are the "big boys" ? The exchangers, of course.

Imagine that someone bought  BTC at 450 USD with 1 MIL USD. That means aprox. 2.200 BTC.

Now, if the buyer wants to cashout, it will take  858,000 USD

1,000,000 - 858,000 = 142,000 USD in the exchanger's pocket Smiley). Make this scenario at a big scale and you will see the profits Smiley

Yeah, yeah, many are still believing that the exchangers are only a middle man between buyers. Keep dreaming.  LOL   Grin Grin

1258  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW / Josh Garza discussion Paycoin XPY xpy.io BTCLend LNC. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: January 15, 2016, 04:28:51 PM
didnt they always go on about how tight their security was? how thats how they've never been hacked?

im still stuck on how cold storage is hacked. how can a trojan affect an offline source thatdidnt touch the net?

Maybe this was an inside job. Then they found a published exploit:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=935898.0
https://github.com/alerj78/lucky7coin/issues/1

and decided to call it a hack.

Or their definitions of "cold", "offline", etc come from the same dictionary as Garza's "escrow":

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=857670.msg10122712#msg10122712

It's a copy+paste text. Visit other exchangers. You will find the same shit text. Nobody will say "we store the BTC online" Smiley
1259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mike Hearns Bitcoin statements amount to price manipulation, on: January 15, 2016, 04:09:47 PM
Is he saying the truth or just harboring ill feeling this article somewhat brought down bitcoin price to below $400 hopefully it will not be lower than $350 every body is at a lost here because of this article some body with authority like him should counter his expose really feel sad and depressed reading his article especially when I saw the current price

it will go down more than that because the Cryptsy's effect is still in the incipient phase.

there are people who already lost ALOT in 12 hours. I am not talking about the ones with 10 BTC.... Smiley
1260  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin drops $60 on: January 15, 2016, 02:47:02 PM
Cryptsy.... is 100% the reason.  For better or worse I still believe they are not thieves and just got screwed and are trying to fix the situation... We should start looking for who took those 10k BTC and 300K LTC..

Yes, I agree. I believe this massive dump started because of Craptsy. They are saying they got hacked, but it is just a move to enable them to dump all the BTC and LTC they stole from us. The Hack think is all a charade to fool us to believe they were hacked when in the reality they are a bunch of conniving bastards.

all the unregulated exchangers may do that sooner or later. BTC-e, Bitfinex, BTC China, Bitstamp...they can all do the same. They are just shady companies(even they seem "huge") and they can disappear overnight.
