781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will stablecoins replace Fiat currencies in the future? on: April 06, 2021, 02:27:20 PM
There will always be a possibility considering the innovation and revolution of the technology all over the world. The only struggle that may be faced by the stablecoins is the regulation of the government being granted to them. We all know that crypto is a decentralized currency, they cannot be controlled by government sectors and associations making it much better compared to fiat. If in the near future, things will get settled and agreed upon, maybe there's a chance that stablecoins will slowly dominate over fiat all over the globe and by that time, it could either be the economy will get better or would end up worse. We still have no idea where it may lead us.
782  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin wasn’t created to make you rich. It was created to make you free on: April 05, 2021, 07:32:10 PM
Bitcoin can work in many ways I guess. It may be a way to escape poverty for some, an additional income or a security for the future. You have all the freedom to do whatever you want for your bitcoin, as long as it benefits you, you can continue what you're doing if you think it makes you feel good and it feels right. Just don't be decieved and end up losing all your bitcoins, holding is very necessary nowadays since the value of it is continuously growing. It really let us escape how the government is trying to chain us by putting up huge taxes and capital in our goods, atleast here in bitcoin, we are free from those regulation that only they become rich as time passes by.
783  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin before and now on: April 05, 2021, 03:52:59 PM
We have seen a massive surge in bitcoin price since we enter into 2021 almost same, trend happen in 2017-2018, only there is a big difference, in a situation today before, I think it was just a pump, but there is a big difference in this year's price rally things that are notable are the following, the influence of Elon musk, Visa considers to enter to cryptocurrency, Paypal decided to open to cryptocurrency, banks, and other institutions open its door to the possibility of using it, suddenly this year pandemic helps cryptocurrency get into the spotlight in the positive note, although there is still negativity being thrown, I think most institution study it and they realize the possibilities and important of blockchain overall.

Bitcoin before was nothing compared to what it is right now and even the pump that occured last 2017. Though things might end up the same way or maybe bitcoin will fall harder than before, still we cannot deny the fact that this bull run is a really special one. We've only expected it to reach $20k or a bit higher than that but all of a sudden, it's getting nearer and nearer to $100k. I was already in crypto during the bull run of year 2017 and 2018 and I gained lots of profits from that, too bad I don't have much holding right when the value is much more higher than the all time high before. Consistency and patience is really important in bitcoin, cause only through that you can experience massive benefits from it.
784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Time For Alt Coins.. on: April 05, 2021, 03:10:44 PM
The altcoin season has already started so buying and converting your altcoin might probably be not ideal right now. The best thing to do I guess is to keep on holding your altcoins while it is currently its season. If you were able to buy or convert much altcoins before the altcoin season, you will surely benefit a lot right now. If you weren't able to do so, then stay patient avoid making the wrong decisions just because you are getting jealous. Altcoin usually goes with the flow of bitcoin where it goes high when the other does and go low when one does so let us keep on hoping that bitcoin would continue to rise up so many would benefit.
785  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin will replace oil and Gold on: April 05, 2021, 02:28:27 PM
The three might have different values and one may dominate the other at this time but we cannot disregard the fact that all of them plays a vital role in each country. Bitcoin might be making too much noise right now as its price continues to rise up but still, the gold and oil are still considered essential. There might be a chance that lots of countries are falling short in either of the two and some might be storing plenty of bitcoins for future purposes but still, I don't think one is replacing the other. Maybe time would come when one of this three would be on top but the other two would probably still exist.
786  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is still hot but Bitcoin Dominance is dropping. What does it tell? on: April 05, 2021, 01:55:47 PM
Maybe it is caused by the altcoins good performance these past few weeks. Many people might be converting their bitcoin to altcoin although the occurence of this won't be so long since we all know how good bitcoin is doing also. It won't be so long till bitcoin would get a new all time high once again so let us just stay patiently waiting for it and believe that even altcoin season is near or currently occuring, bitcoin would still be able to dominate the market just like how it did way back it reached a price that we never expected.
787  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time to sell my BTC? on: April 04, 2021, 08:08:15 PM
So I bought BTC at £9000, made a nice amount. Is it a good idea to now sell this and move that money into alt coins? or should I  sell half BTC and buy back in after alt season is finished?

What do you think?
You must have a clear goal before selling it, Understand and consider the return you want from investing in bitcoin. These considerations will give you idea when you want to determine the best price to sell it. Understanding and careful consideration will be the right guide when you make a strategy.
If the profit you get has reached the point you are targeting, You can sell half of the assets you have, and you can prepare back the money you had whiled the correction was taking place.

Absolutely, if you have nothing important to do with the profit that you can get, why sell it when there's a big chance that your holding will grow more as time passes by. We already know that bitcoin itself is profitable, just look at the market as of now, even the altcoins are getting higher in terms of value. But it depends on you if you really want to sell it just hold it for some time. You should make a good decision when it comes to selling your BTC, you might end up regretting that afterward. That is somehow better if you only sell half of your assets just to make sure your capital is safe and make the other half grow as it grows with bitcoin's price.
788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading Or Invest ? on: April 04, 2021, 07:37:49 PM
Honestly, if you have some good knowledge and talent about trading you should go with it, I can say that not all people have a talent for investing because every people have a different kind of decision that they make, investing is really good in terms of profit but not all people can do that. If you are not into it, maybe just try to invest instead of doing that since you can only think about which crypto or project will you invest your money in, especially when you are in the business world, investing is much better for you. Trading and investing are both profitable, as long as you have proper way of doing it, and you study very well about how to do it, you can reach your goal.
789  Economy / Economics / Re: Why did you buy bitcoin? on: April 04, 2021, 07:00:42 PM
I learned about bitcoin in 2017, my friends are talking about it and I got curious about it so I make some questions about how did they earn with it. They told me a lot of things about how to earn with bitcoin, there's trading, investing, mining, and even gambling. That information makes me more curious about how can I do it, so I first tried staying on this forum to gain more information and also earning by joining signature campaigns, then I started to invest with bitcoin, I bought at a low price and sell it at a high price, a simple trade that every trader should know. I bought it because I know that it is really profitable as long as you have enough important information on how you do it. There are lots of things I already bought because of bitcoin and it helps me financially and logically on how to make decisions.
790  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do ordinary people feel afraid of Bitcoin? on: April 04, 2021, 06:40:33 PM
This is maybe because of their ignorance about bitcoin, what I mean is that, yes they knew bitcoin is profitable and they are thinking that it is easy to make a profit with it but the truth is, it is much riskier than they think it is. They invest in some projects or on bitcoin itself, buying and holding it for some time but then the nature of crypto is not that good or even bad, as long as you know it, you can make a profit. Some people who already lost their money on investing thinking that bitcoin itself is a scam, we all know that it is not. It is because they lack knowledge with regards to cryptocurrency. Bitcoin itself is profitable and we can prove that to them not by just boasting any of our profit but also to help them how we got those profits.
791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie finding his way around crypto investment on: April 04, 2021, 06:01:32 PM
Always learn and keep learning, friend. Investing in cryptocurrency looks very easy, but if not equipped with in-depth knowledge then the risk is huge.
The two coins you mentioned look really good, but you are too late to enter there, because vechin and harmony already pumping really hard.
If you are new to crypto, try to invest safely. Btc, Eth, Bnb and Polkadot will be an ideal investment for you.

Indeed, knowledge is important for you to grow and succeed in your goals. There are lots of people who are putting their money on cryptocurrencies without knowing the risks of it because they don't any important information that they should know before doing it. We all know that there are lots of cryptocurrencies out there but not all of them are good for investment, that is why you should study and learn everything that is important to know when it comes to investing so that your money will grow. There are things you should consider before choosing and investing in a particular crypto project.
792  Economy / Economics / Re: Why should i invest in bitcoin or other cryptos ? on: April 01, 2021, 04:27:17 PM
There are a lot of things you should consider before trying your fortune here in bitcoin. If you are really eager on gaining profits from bitcoin, it wouldn't be much of a deal if you'll spend most of your time on trying to get to know what it is and how it works. Also, you should be extra careful when comparing things specially when the nature of both is very far from each other. Upon learning what is bitcoin, you will eventually understand why it is very wise to invest in bitcoin than to invest on other stuffs. Bitcoin has the brightest future I think, if ever it wouldn't face something that could end it, so stop wasting your time on asking, study and start right away if you think it is worth the shot.
793  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If You Buy btc Today and cash out one year on: April 01, 2021, 03:53:26 PM
If You Buy Today and You dont touch it before one year but You also dont read the news of btc bans and fuds Smiley  then You Will be wealthy.
As history have showed us its not a trading or ta or other Type of trading.
The most wealthy with btc are those who dont give s about corrections they just hodle one year or longer.

Most of the newbie  traders even Will be rich of crypto If they will not read news about crypto or btc at all at least one year.
Those people who became rich doing that are lucky for sure. It doesn't work that way all the time, maybe it could if you can predict what's gonna happen in the future like buy plenty of bitcoin on the year 2018 and hold it up until now because you know bitcoin's price is gonna reach almost $60k dollars on this specific year. Also, you can do this if you are already rich and doesn't really care about bitcoin's price change since it wouldn't affect you even for a bit. We do not really know yet how long will this pump keep on going, anything can happen within a year. It's just either you'll benefit a lot or regret a lot if you are planning to do this holding for a year and staying out of the news.
794  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When sell holding alt coin in profit? on: April 01, 2021, 03:26:51 PM
When should long-held alt coins be sold? When to sell even when we are in profit? That doesn't make sense. Let me know if there is a suitable alternative to this issue.
It is really hard to decide when to sell a long-held altcoin most special when its value is oftenly increasing. You start to wonder until when will the price keep on going up or is it the right time already? Will I regret it if ever it is already the peak and it will keep on going down eventually? For me, if ever the altcoin you are currently investing at is doing good, the best way to know when to sell is though watching the price movement, if it is rapidly increasing then keep on holding for a while but if you are already seeing it is going down, sell while it is still high. Staying informed about the news with regards to crypto market will also help so always make sure you are always updated.
795  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin after the pandemic on: April 01, 2021, 02:48:31 PM
Bitcoin made a huge jump on the duration of the pandemic, maybe it was all because plenty of people all over the world are trying to avoid physical transactions and wanted to invest their money on other investment instruments otger than the bank. Once the pandemic is over, everything won't be the same anymore. Bitcoin will continue its reign of dominance or the other way around, we can never be certain about its future. It would be best if we'll keep on monitoring the price change in the market to figure out if an income dump or pump is coming. Let us hope this pandemic stops already so we can see greater opportunity otside, we've been caged inside our houses for so long already. Maybe its beneficial for bitcoin but not for everyone, also maybe better things would happen for bitcoin if it ends finally.
796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If a project gets too complicated on: April 01, 2021, 01:25:23 PM
If a crypto project gets too complicated to understand can it affect the projects adoption rate or people don't care this days where they put their money? I remember when Hex was launched many think it's a scam and so many complains about not understanding a thing about what the project is all about, what do you say ?
Obviously, people won't mind participating on the project if they are already witnessing that it wouldn't work out. But actually, there are instances when some careless people joins in on one, it is all because they do not really care what the project promotes of it has a high probability of succeeding, they just want to join one without thinking about where will they money go afterwards. It is very important before joining a project that you pay great attention on the moderator or the head of the project, see if they have a reputation built already when it comes to making a project successful then see if the purpose is beneficial to many and not only for you.
797  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I went big into Bitcoin and Ethereum... on: March 31, 2021, 04:49:41 PM
Hello Gang,
New guy here.
About 2 weeks ago I purchased $50,000 of Bitcoin and Ethereum thru Coinbase.
It's all sitting in the Coinbase wallet with a 2 step verification to get access.

I just ordered a Trezor 1 cold wallet. Might take a few days to get here.
How safe is the Coinbase wallet for holding my stuff?
I've read that their site is actually very secure.

Thanks for any info!

Going in bitcoin and ethereum right now is not really ideal considering how the prices of both at the moment. I would suggest that you buy bitcoin and eth during its pump wherein it is a smart move to buy during those times. You'll see as time passes by that the amount of btc and eth you bought goes up as they experience bull run or sudden pump. The wallet you've mention was said to be well secured but still do not be too confident cause hackers are getting more and more better these days. I hope the amount you bought would still grow regardless of the timing since btc and eth are both great coins that are leading the game.
798  Economy / Economics / Re: holding bitcoin from early 2010 till today on: March 31, 2021, 04:00:54 PM
is there someone holding  bitcoin from early 2010   when the price is around 0.01 and still not selling today?    just wondering?
I think there's a chance that someone with that holdings exists somewhere but for sure they wouldn't reveal their identity for the sake of their safety. Everyone wishes that they could be that person, someone who has the highest faith on bitcoin that managed to believe for a decade without getting shaken from all the doubts and negative views about bitcoin. Maybe there's below 1% of people who owns bitcoin during that time was able to hold it up until now. It sounds impossible actually considering that bitcoin experienced a lot of bull run already, for sure at one point you would be tempted to sell your holdings. If someone actually did it, he's rich as hell right now for sure.
799  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I tried to tell him just HODL bitcoin, don't make this hard. on: March 31, 2021, 03:31:50 PM
Friend I met here on facebook.

Had a bunch of money in bitcoin last year. I told him not to do it, but he sold it ALL.....for EOS.....

He held EOS for like 6 months from july 2020 till roughly late February of 2021(EOS price has barely grown 100% in 6 months which is terrible for a shitcoin).

Bitcoin hit $57K, he thought it was the top. Sold ALL his shitcoin EOS when bitcoin hit 49K during a brief dump. He thought bitcoin was "old and slow". I told him it was still the undisputed, uncontested king.

Then he REALLY FUCKED UP and shorted bitcoin at $47K......

Don't be like him, sell shitcoins, HODL Bitcoin. Don't short bitcoin.
That is really an unfortunate event, if only your friend could have listened to you, for sure he us gaining much benefit from bitcoin right now. Regrets are always at the end, for sure that friend of yours is spending most of his time each day regretting his wrong decisions and doubt about bitcoin. It is all good that we invest on other coins too but we should make sure first that it is worth it. Put some on other coins but make sure you have plenty left in bitcoin. Patience is really important together with faith and loyalty, through all of these you will know how wonderful it is to put all of your trust in bitcoin.
800  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Crypto be more valuable than gold? on: March 31, 2021, 02:27:04 PM
I think the two would be very hard to compare. So far, gold is still leading over crypto regardless of how popular and relevant crypto is at the present time. People who say that crypto is more valuable than gold are not doing proper research, cause if they do, they wouldn't be biased with their opinion. We are always free to choose what we prefer more, what we know more, we do not really need to compare. If you think crypto is much more useful in creating profits for you, then stick to it. If you trust gold more, then keep on relying on it. Make your decisions based on your experience not on anybody's opinion.
