801  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HashOcean.com Scam or legit plz on: June 30, 2016, 12:48:42 PM
ALL gone! But what happened to landline phone number? Where police are scams and fraudsters? All and all Gnel! The police bought.

stay on your way ! Smiley  you wanted to use BTC because it offers anonymity and you can avoid authorities in a way or other. why do you need police now? Smiley

admit the loss and move on. you must VERY idiot to think that a website can offer you 1%-5% per day income so, you deserve your faith OR you are playing the "smart ass" just because you are frustrated of the loss.

shut up and go on ! Smiley
802  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 【LakeBTC.com】Bitcoin Exchange on: June 29, 2016, 11:40:53 PM
lakebtc used to be great, but now their lakebanker system is mandatory....last withdrawal I paid over $100 + lakebtc charge due to their stupid lakebanker system. Never again.

Why fix what isn't broken? I used to get their withdrawals the next day with no fees except their withdrawal fee.

Dear User,

LakeBanker is not a mandatory measure, it is to develop the local market of more currencies, and the fee is paid to the LakeBanker for his service. You may know that in certain countries/regions, if people purchase bitcoins directly in their local market, they may cost more.

If you are using the main currency and choose bank transfer, LakeBanker system has no effect on you. Just you need to select System Banker Only option when you deposit or withdraw. then it will be the same as the thing you experienced before.

And more, if you are willing to help other people around the world use bitcoins, or you are interested in small profits but quick turnover, you can become a LakeBanker too. Please e-mail us with your intention help@lakebtc.com

Best regards

I have no option to select only system banker

what banks are they using?
803  Economy / Exchanges / Bitfinex FRAUDULENT exchanges on: June 29, 2016, 11:39:16 PM
spread the word that Bitfinex is doing frauds. this is the only thing you can do...Bitfinex and others like it must be shut down.

They are all in the same scheme.
804  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Current SegWit code does not fix O(n^2) on: June 29, 2016, 10:56:47 AM
this discussion belongs to Development & Technical Discussion. it's useless for 99% from those who are using BTC.
805  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BItcoin ATM for Wellington New Zealand on: June 28, 2016, 11:33:55 PM
First, you need to register as FSP with the The Financial Service Providers Register from NZ.. start with this and then you will think twice if you really want a business as this  Smiley

806  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Discussion of Kraken exchange; let's share important info here on: June 28, 2016, 04:40:23 PM
Kraken exchange seems like one of the more complete, legitimate, and comprehensive exchanges out there.  Support seems to be overwhelmed right now.  Post your problems and solutions here.

let's start with  - legitimate = conforming to the law  -

Kraken is out of law because it's not a licensed money transmitter business(MSB) in any state so they are operating illegally (in USA for sure) Smiley

What does mean? Well, we know what happened with other unlicensed exchangers in the past . Overnight, FBI closed their websites and they arrested the owners. Client's funds? Gone !

So, you decide if you assume this risk along with others that derives from BTC market.

Most of Kraken's customers are in Europe, and they dominate the BTC/EUR trade. I don't think they have many American customers at all

They have and they ACCEPT.
By accepting US clients, you, as company must be registered as MSB in the States where you want to operate. More than that, Kraken is incorporated in USA so, it doesn't matter whether they have or not clients USA. Smiley

It's an act of craziness to work from and with US clients and not having a proper license for that. You can be closed anytime and the Feds can put you in jail without any issue. We have many cases with unlicensed exchangers who are behind bars because of that.
807  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHOCEAN ONLINE BITCOIN CLOUD MINING, IS IT GONE FOREVER? on: June 27, 2016, 10:28:01 AM
Very blatant scam, there was no proof of miners, why people fall for this is beyond my comprehension.

they don't fall. most of them know that it's a high risk but they like easy money and the gambling.

the ones that are posted that a HYIP is a scam, are "newbies" or frustrated people. of course, HYIPs are running away in the end but everybody knows that.  Grin

808  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHOCEAN ONLINE BITCOIN CLOUD MINING, IS IT GONE FOREVER? on: June 27, 2016, 10:24:57 AM
so, where's the surprise? it was a HYIP and as any other HYIP, it's running away after a while Smiley

some people earned, some people lost. that's it.  you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. it's a game Smiley
809  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BTC price is crashing on: June 25, 2016, 11:52:00 PM
Prices are $650; the exchange is now ok.

Complete scam.

I said before Bitfinex came online again : "You will see that once BTC is stable around 650 USD, Bitfinex website will be online."

That happened  Wink

They closed the website while their clients were selling. They made a fortune by using fraudulent tools yesterday, these scums.

I didn't know bitfinex owners are anonymous and it is unregulated.

At least i know poloniex is registered in the US and they have KYC / AML policies

Poloniex is the same...It's even more dangerous because the Feds(Poloniex is registered in USA) can shut down their website anytime. Poloniex is not licensed as MSB as the US law requires. We saw many exchangers closed and in jail because of that....

i left Poloniex a long time ago when i realized this and they started showing some scary signs and also asked for personal information in order to trade altcoins!
besides they have been doing a lot of shady things with ethereum from the start and they went offline, closed deposits, .... when eth was being dumped multiple times to prevent crash!!

very good decision. sooner or later(max 6-7 months) Poloniex will be closed
810  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Has anyone actually seen (even in pics) hashocean's datacenters? on: June 24, 2016, 06:27:05 PM
don't bother. hashocean is a ponzi, HYIP. play as much you can afford to lose and period Smiley

there is no datacenter. it's just a pure HYIP.
811  Economy / Speculation / Re: Brexit and Bitcoin on: June 24, 2016, 06:09:45 PM
JP Morgan has said that there's a fair chance it will have to relocate a fair amount of its UK operations to the EU in the event of a leave vote.

Oh golly - please don't go  Grin
You know that means people's jobs, right?

don't bother. there are too many brain drained here. they think "anti system"/libertarian shit but they don't know THEY are the system. they have fancy phones, cars, bank accounts, houses, loans, money(and they want MORE) but they are "anti system" Smiley

MANY families will suffer because of the banks/corporations` leaving UK. Good or bad, the people had a place to work and to get a wage....

JP Morgan may cut up to 4,000 alone. Do "you" know what does mean 4000 people? at least others 15,000-20,000 will suffer.; and these numbers are only for one corporation.

Airbus, which employs 15,000 may cut at least 10,000 the jobs (that means at least 30,000 others will suffer) from UK because they will relocate the manufacture of aircraft wings and restructuring the design team.

Car manufacturers will cut jobs too because it's useless to make cars in a country where you won't have any advantage; they will relocate in EU.

Same with the tech companies and their investments of billions of pounds. They will all gone.
812  Economy / Speculation / Re: Brexit and Bitcoin on: June 24, 2016, 12:50:25 PM
The "chosen one" has announced his departure though.

And no, parliament can't say no.

Edit: The BBC is crying like a baby - too funny.

well, all the big corporations, banks will leave London(UK) and they will move to other countries from EU. that means huge amounts of money will go out of UK. the taxes that these corporations are paying in UK, will no longer be paid, the impact for UK will be immense. how many people will lose their jobs? A LOT. Only a kid or an idiot would think that this is a good thing. So many families will be affected in UK.

I think Ireland(Dublin) is happy; most of these corporations will migrate to them.
813  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitfinex cant log in? on: June 23, 2016, 07:39:31 PM
I am able to login to my bitfinex account right now i also think bitfinex going down whenever there is downtrend in price is quite suspicous and also few have stated their order not getting executed after maintainance is over. No any clear explanation form bitfinex also about there reason for mainatainance on yersterday and today. Roll Eyes

Yes, correct! Bitfinex going down whenever there is downtrend in price because they earn a lot of money in this way ! As I already said, PURE FRAUD !

816  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Official Xapo Service Discussion on: June 23, 2016, 09:13:58 AM
I have been using Xapo for sometime now but was not an active user. I recently thought to get involved in the bitcoin arena and use bitcoins to make purchases..... Believe me guys, I'm quitting the Bitcoin because of Xapo! They have cheated me out of £250. I purchased some bitcoins and was instructed to wire fund to their account. I sent it and they have sent me an email saying purchase cancelled. I have now been inquiring for over 10 days and have sent more than 15emails but nobody is getting back to me. Believe me guys.... STAY AWAY FROM XAPO! They're just another bitcoin scamming site. Send money to them at your own risk. I have contacted their investors as well..... but Xapo are not bothered they have my money:(

where have you sent the money? to what bank and country ?
817  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HashOcean.com Scam or legit plz on: June 23, 2016, 09:07:34 AM
HashOcean.com is a HYIP as any other HYIPs. Nothing special.

You can play how much you can afford to lose and that's it. You might earn or you may lose.  Sooner or later, they will close the website and starting a new one.

Yeah , before shutting down their old website they already planned to make a new one just repeat and scam those people again and again . I know that some of them are the same owner of the new hyips that are releasing and recently showed in some ads .

i think they are syndicate they take the oppurtunitt of bitcoins anonimosity to use it to fraud many people using this coin because fraudster cannot be easily trace if they do some scammy evil doings in online world, but one thing we should really do right now is to avoid hyips and dont ever look to invest in any form of that where making fraudster more richer.

BTC would be down(very low) without HYIPs and black market. These two categories, have over 80% from BTC market.  There are MANY people who know very well what the risks are but they are playing.

820  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Disturbing Practices from BITSTAMP.net on: June 22, 2016, 10:04:09 PM

Major warning to all about Bitstamp. net

I'm a customer on the exchange for three years and recently tried to catch the $700 price rise with my savings, to my initial surprise and frustration  it was held in the "getting to know your client" phase, checked the Terms, nothing. WTF?

Answer 10 specific questions.. OK..not good enough.. id (too old) ... no more id .... now bank .... more proof ... savings.... tax returns ...

Never once was the process clarified or clear at the start and the option to opt out in line with the Data protection act? forget it! I protested at each step never once was my concerns addressed or that option given.

I had repeatedly just asked to move on, return money and close as i did not agree with the process. Never once was it offered and my money, ALOT of money is currently being held away from my account.

... and then once i made a complaint and seeked assistance or clarification the support system stopped and now i'm awaiting the return of my money which they are holding against my wishes... via the complaints department.

all my savings... dam.. i'm one stressed man.

Am i alone with this?

It is your right to refuse their verification and to get the funds back.

Contact their bank (what's Bitstamp bank's name?) and tell them that Bitstamp is a fraudulent company who is holding your funds without delivering the service. This is the first step. Then, contact your bank and ask them to return the bank wire because Bitstamp (receiver) is scamming now. Smiley
