Ok I'm getting the hardware code for you now Mearylll Cheesy

Use md5 hashed pre generated result just for more validity Smiley

How would this be done? It seems that if I had the md5 hash of the result I would also already have the generated number right?

Or since the numbers is only between 1-1000 people could just run through all of the md5's of those numbers and know what the number for that week will be ahead of time....unless maybe I put a random string before the number, that could potentially work.

Anyways the giveaways are on pause for now until I find a better alternative.

Right on spot Smiley

Thank you. I'm not sure why I didn't think of such a system before. I'll have to use that for my future giveaways Smiley

BB is not happy:

https://hashtalk.org/topic/19378

(edit: I have no clue what the "hotel on Mars" is referring to or what facts coinfire were caught making up months ago)

I have no idea where that is coming from either. Perhaps he can produce some messages showing where the hotel on mars story is, or what we were making up. I'm fairly certain both statements are made up from him Wink

We are dropping a bombshell soon that shows more lies from Shopify and he claimed we didn't reach out to him but have proof of that otherwise we will see what he has to say.

Can you please provide proof for your previous statements as well?

Even though I hate to agree with the hashtalkers, they are right that you could have fabricated the whole thing.

Which previous statements? We published the names. Do people really want to see the actual emails and phone records? Do you demand that of every other journalist?

Look at our track record, we have brought valid, honest reporting to every other topic. We have countless times over delivered news that has turned out to be true repeatedly before anyone else.

BFL, I personally tweeted pictures of the orders the weekend before they were public in my very hands. We posted the SEC letters everyone said was FUD (and now a few startups have confirmed they received them), we brought USMS auction news and quotes. I think our track record really speaks for itself regarding this.

For those demanding "proof of statements" we will be posting the emails and what not soon but I am sure people will say we photo shopped those as well. Believe what you want but we stand by the reporting we do.

1-800-Flowers weeks before the announcement, USMS auction details before public, SEC letters, BFL court orders before public, our track record again, really speaks for itself. Repeatedly we have been told BULLSHIT only to come out a few weeks later that what we said was accurate.

I am going to be personally sharing how we write news, what we do to get leads, who goes and talks to people and what not in the near future. Even sharing our internal Contributor's Bible (minus a few redacted parts of secret sauce and competitive info) on our site. These things don't just happen overnight though.

I think providing the proof just makes you guys that much more of a legit source. There are plenty of computer wiz's around the forums that can verify if the images are real or not. If I were you I'd take it on a more positive note, not that we are doubting you, but if you can provide proof to your statements you're credibility goes through the roof and it provides the community with evidence that we can shove in people's faces.

Also can you share how they edited/hacked your homepage?
805  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Zen Hashlet PayCoin unofficial uncensored discussion. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :-) on: November 26, 2014, 02:02:58 AM
So I've found GAW's actual hardware delivery times and speeds to always be 100% accurate. I found that their cloud services were initially paying out very well and fees were reasonable. Now that the fees = payouts which leaves almost nothing for actual BTC returns I'm worried. The fact that they have not yet restructured their fees worries me more. The fact that they just pushed back their whole hashcoin ICO for another "2 weeks" (I shit you not, 14 days), sounds wayyyy to familiar to another BS mining company (ehem BFL).

It is coming to the point that I may stop promoting them as a legit company. At bare minimum the fees need to be changed. I already ROI'd a long time ago, but now my hashlets are nearly useless.

Do you consider Vaulbreaker delivery also 100% accurate? They are delivering "something" around now, which is way late and probably has worse specs. Haven't seen any happy buyers bragging about those deliveries yet.

I've bought the black widows, scrypt blades, and those singles (forgot what they were called). All were delivered on time and had higher speeds than I paid for (10->13 and 1->1.3 etc)

I don't know what a vaultbreaker is and I never bought one.

Oh wow I'm about 2 hours late! The game is now closed for 11/24/14. Rolling the dice now Smiley

Winning number was 330. The miner will go to Mearylll with a guess of 331 and I will be PM'ing him/her the code tomorrow (11/25/14 at night)

Other close contestents were BMiner2014 with a guess of 319 and sharry with 333.

Until GAW restructures their fees I'm going to have to put this giveaway on pause since the miners currently have such a low payout rate.

If anyone has other good alternatives for miners (cloud mining is good so I also don't have to worry about international shipping restrictions) I'd be happy to hear them!

Britain colonised the world! if you want a worldwide understanding it seems like a good start.

Of course you could stick with the world of America if you prefer. "baseball world series" ahem

That doesn't answer the question challenge I presented, but thank you for chiming in.

Anyone have suggestions for trading bots (free?) that can buy/sell according to MACD? Either on bitstamp or bitfinex
810  Economy / Speculation / Re: 13th 3dMACD bar started GREEN! on: November 25, 2014, 07:51:34 AM
Future will show you that this is a perfect long term trading indicator. Your comment about tiny red bar - it depends how inteligent is automated trading system. My simply ignores it and takes it as noise.
Why make an automated trading system for long term trades?
It was reply to initial statement:

"This tiny "aberration" would have caused an automatic trading system based on the indicator in question going short, involving losses."

Yes, I agree that we dont need automated trading system, we need just common sense. Smiley

The questions is however - how do you define "common sense"?

Why do you ignore the tiny red bar? Will you always ignore a tiny red bar? Do you have a clearly defined rule set for "noise" reduction?

If you have a trading system  - in this case it was claimed that the trading system is based solely on the 3dMACD (because it's such a "perfect long term indicator") - and this trading systems generates a sell signal you can't just arbitrarily ignore that signal. If you find it necessary to do so, you are not following the trading system and are in fact invalidating the claim that the trading system is perfect.

ya.ya.yo!

Maybe "common sense" is being defined here as realizing that a single small red bar when the 3D MACD is just turning green (and near zero), and now surrounded by greens, should be considered as noise.

I'm not a pro trader, but from a statistics perspective I see it as a deviation ask's indicator, but the question becomes "is this statistically significant", in which there are means to determine that...

What do you guys think about the 3 day MACD being green again?

Nothing special Wink

Those gains look pretty good to me! I didn't even sense any sarcasm Tongue

Thats not a real reason to not use British English, of course most denominations are USD/BTC with the USD being the world reserve currency. Most other markets are denominated as so. You dont see much GBP/BTC parings as there isnt much demand to trade in that obviously but what does that have to do with using the correct language?

Why would you leave out everything in my quote besides that 1 point? My original statement was:

"
Obviously American English. The British have been hostile to cryptocurrencies thus far. How often do you see pound/BTC pairing?

--British banks won't deal with anyone related to cryptos.

"

You don't see the pound/BTC pairing mainly because British banks won't work with crypto exchanges so there is very limited ways to get pounds into crypto. With Britain being resistant to bitcoin and America accepting it....I think that is a pretty fair reason to write it in American English.

It honestly makes very little difference if you want to use 'z' or 's' etc, but that's my 2 cents.

That would be because as I said the fact that you don't see GBP/BTC should have any bearing on which version of English you use. There is not limited ways to get GBP into crypto as I and many of my associates have done without any problems.

It makes little difference of course but that as a reason to use AE just isn't a proper one IMO.

Maybe you can educate me then. What exchange has a GBP/BTC trade pairing that primarily uses a British bank? I'm guessing that you won't come up with one and your talk is just smoke and mirrors (as is a lot of internet speech)...but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt as I would love to be wrong in this case.

So banks have NO CLUE yet, which I think is a good thing. Think of my test as a walk behind enemy lines to see how banks are looking at bitcoin at this moment in time.

However they will learn very very quickly... Cheesy

Bitcoin will be a jobkiller in the banking sector, because whole business segments will become unnecessary. I don't think it will be the end of banking as a whole, because people still appreciate administrative money services. However the special importance of banks and their power will fade away. In a Bitcoin future, banks will be ordinary service businesses that are no longer irreplaceable. Competition will be fierce.

ya.ya.yo!

Your wrong about it being a job killer, Banks make more than 50% of profits from loans. Electronic payments only account of a small amount of Bank profits. I have a family member who handles the Electronic portfolios of a bank. When I told her about Bitcoin she immediately ruled it out a scam and B.S. but now she's more into it.

Loans from money that is created out of thin air. If Bitcoin ever becomes THE payment method and central fiat currencies are put the way-side. Banks won't be making anywhere near as much money as they are now.

I was not the dumper this time. I *was* tempted to script things to delete posts to keep us on page 10,000 for a while which would have been entertaining but decided to have a lazy Sunday instead.

I believe it's somewhat unusual for somebody with so much cheaply accumulated assets to inform the public about his intentions of dumping as much as necessary to keep the numbers artificially fixed. But go on, please, this could be highly amusing. Grin

He's talking about dumping (deleting) his posts on this forum. Not dumping bitcoins.

Question to core team members:
When writing text for Monero project, do I use American English or British English?

Opinions from non core members also appreciated.

How often do you see pound/BTC pairing?

If you're asking if you should hold some euro instead of USD, that might not be a bad a choice.

Oh look. Someone dumped to make sure we would break 350. Didn't see that coming.

How many coins do you actually own? Ballpark figures that is. Is it near 0? Has it always been about....0?
