801  Economy / Gambling / Re: JungleCasino.io | Fully decentralized Smart Casino | Low House Edge 1% | No KYC on: October 31, 2023, 09:44:42 AM
I guess you aren't a licensed casino and when I visited your casino, it seems to be a work of one or two men. So, you probably can operate without license right now and doesn't even ask for KYC documents and no one will really bother right now to contact you but what are your long-term plans, do you plan to get a licensed casino if you gain popularty? And how can I be sure that I'll receive my withdrawal from your casino? What are your reserves?
The title clearly states "decentralized", afaik this type of casino is not tied to any jurisdiction, so there is no license that they can show and they do not ask you for KYC either.

@Op, If you don't also offer games using BTC, this thread should be moved to the service announcements (altcoins) board.

Well they said that they are going to offer games in BTC later, so maybe it can stay here as it can attract more gamblers as we frequented this board.

And as far as decentralization, we will see how successful this casinos are, I mean we all know that almost all casinos right now are being mandated to have KYC and we all want to go back to our roots.

Of that a simple deposit and withdrawal address with no personal info being given to the platform itself. So let's see if gamblers are going to partronized this casinos or if this could set a precedent.
802  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Thurman Vs Stanionis WBA world welterweight December 9 on: October 30, 2023, 10:32:56 PM
^^ Wow, so Danny Garcia also moved up in weight already and now going to fight Lara? Going to be very close as Danny has a great left hook and very sound fundamentally. But I'm surprised how Lara is still in this game, lol, no offense to him but I thought that he has retired already. But during his prime, he fought Canelo Alvarez and there are analyst who says that Lara schooled Canelo that time.

So with that, I think I will go with Garcia, he is still fresh, but Lara might give him a hard fight early as he is a southpaw and has great foot work. But in the middle rounds, I'm seeing Lara getting tired from all the movements and Garcia going to catch up with him in spurts and maybe hit him with his signature left hook knocking down Lara.

This is a very interesting fight to watch I'd like to see if Garcia can bring his power to the middleweight, he has a better chance here than in the welterweight category, Crawford is unbeatable in that division so no way he can have a chance in that division, whereas in the middleweight he has a chance and here is his chance against Lara.

He has outgrown the welterweight and super welterweight division and so he has to move up in weight class wherein his body is comfortable. And I'm only going to speculate that he could bring his power to 160 lbs. It's just a question on how he is going to carry himself in this bigger weight divisions as he is not a naturally bigger guy.

Lara is the current champion in the WBA but I consider him a weak champion compared to other champions in that division, ALIMKHANULY and CHARLO if Garcia carries his power and speed against Lara he has a better champion, but it's hard to take Lara for granted he is the current champion and has fought great fighters the most prominent Canelo.

Yes, and we haven't heard from Lara and I myself thought that he has retired already. But most likely he become a champion now because of circumstances. Charlo went on hiatus and so this division was open and Lara is on the right place and at the right time. And Danny Garcia and his team also knows this, that's why they challenge Lara for the belt to help Danny become a world champion again.
803  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is doubling your investment more probable than we think? on: October 30, 2023, 05:45:36 PM
With halving less than a year from now, the majority of us are speculating a major increase in price and possibly the start of another bull market after 4 years. Some are expecting to surpass the previous ATH of almost $70,000 and possibly reach $100,000. Although this scenario sounds great and all, I'm not quite confident that it'll happen in the upcoming year or so. The current economic condition in the world isn't too promising and, in my opinion, will set back investments in general, including bonds and the stock market. I hope I'm proven wrong, though.

Why do you have little faith though? did Bitcoin already failed to reach new all time high every 4 years? I will have doubts as well if we have somewhat didn't see a bull run in 2020-2021, because of the pandemic, so obviously you are already proven wrong with your argument.

However, I tend to have a more pessimistic and down-to-earth approach to this matter. Bitcoin's current price is ranging from $27,000 to $28,000 as we speak, while we will also occasionally see it as low as $25,000. With that being said, in my opinion, sometime after the halving, the scenario of Bitcoin surpassing $50,000 doesn't sound too impossible to me. Thus, if we suppose that someone purchases Bitcoin now, approximately within a year, he or she may be capable of doubling their initial investment.

Yeah, and just like when you posted this thread, suddenly the price went on a spike, reaching as high as $35,150 and then we are trading on $34,310. Not to rub it in, but Bitcoin proves it's doubters again, sorry to burst the bubble to you OP.

I know that these are all pure assumptions, but instead of speculating massive ATH and 3x or 4x returns, which are way too common in the forum, why not expect something that is more probable to happen in the near future? And to be honest, doubling your investment is a great yield that cannot easily be found in other forms of investment.

And let's just wait till the bull run in 2024-2025 and see how big it will be. Just for the record, the lowest low is $15,500. And with the current price, we are almost 130% from it, meaning if we have bought at that price last year and continue to do DCA one year later, we should be in the profit right now. So in the next bull run, the returns could be higher than we expected, just saying.
804  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - December 26 on: October 30, 2023, 02:35:09 PM
How about the PPV? I believe there's a PPV of this fight, and those who aren't able to watch in the venue, they could watch through PPV sponsored by ESPN I think.

There's no PPV on this fight as it can only watch on ESPN+, but there's a subscrition which is.... "You can get an ESPN+ subscription for $10.99 per month,"... So you just have to subscribe ahead of the fight so you'll not miss this upcoming big fight.

Yeah, and since the fight is in Japan, it won't be a PPV. And that's why we always thought that Inoue should really be fighting in Japan, so that he will be a PPV star as well instead of fighting in his native country. He needs to get out of his comfort zone and be state side and obviously to create more hype and money for him and cemented his legacy.

As per the odds though, Tapales is still 8:1 underdog. Maybe for those who love to bet on the underdog, then maybe Tapales is your guy. We've witnessed Ngannou knocking down Fury in their fight when no one thought that he can even last 5 rounds of the best HW champion of our generation. So who knows, upset can really happen in boxing.
805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: October 30, 2023, 01:41:07 PM
I'm certain that the outcome of Fury's fight could lead to some changes in the odds. Usyk might shift from being a heavy underdog to a slight underdog. However, I believe Fury will still be the favorite, even if he doesn't hold the most belts.

Agree but i think Fury performance against Francis is a result of his over-confidence and i do think that if the Usyk fight will be scheduled, he will train seriously and work hard to have a better performance than that of the Francis fight. On the other hand, Usyk should forget that Fury was having a bad night against Francis as the latter is a different beast if fared against a quality opponent.

Yes, I also agree, perhaps Fury thought that Francis is a very easy opponent, although there is a chance for Francis to hit him with power, perhaps he was confidence that he will not simply go down specially he has face the power of Deontay Wilder before. But he was very wrong because once Francis landed, Fury's eye was very different after that. And it's funny now that after that fight, he says that he always thought that Ngannou was a dangerous opponent than Usyk? What? How can he be very dangerous when he is not a boxer himself?

It just shows by this statement that Fury is very arrogant and doesn't shows respect to his opponents and he was indeed very lucky that because of boxing corruption, he was declared by winner.
806  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What according to you should be the age to retire from gambling ? on: October 30, 2023, 01:19:34 PM
It's very subjective, and I don't think that there are retirement numbers from gambling to begin with. There are late bloomers too, who find gambling at the ripe age, and then there are gamblers who started young and still continue to gamble until they can't no longer play.

And as we know it, gambling has been part of human history, as old as mankind. So it's very hard to just stop or quit or retire from it. So it really affect all of the society, regardless of what age bracket. Initially it appears to be harmless for us in the beginning, but as we continue throughout our lifetime, it's very difficult to withdraw from it.
807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can loneliness make one addicted to gambling on: October 30, 2023, 11:03:58 AM
I'm confused and looking for answers

If you are lonely, can you have interest in gambling simply because of your loneliness?

How would you judge someone who says they don't gamble because it's fun, is that a sign of a gambling addiction?

If you are making $600 a day, that's $20000 in a month, and because you are only you start having interest to gamble, what do you think this is?

All these questions is been asked because someone close said all these and I think he are losing money and losing himself too, of all the discussions we had, these are the points I held unto.

Later he open up to have been using $500 for gambling per day, he said all these started when his wife left him, that he isn't into gambling at all, but I can't ask why his wife left him in the first place, but does loneliness make people become addicted to gambling or it's something else.

I would say that loneliness or if a person is facing a big issue in their lives, can go to gambling itself. And it's very easy to fall for it, I mean like what happen to your friend. He has a lot of money to begin with, and so with that kind of issues in his life, he can simply go and gamble and that is one way for him to escape his problems in life. He can reason that he totally forget everything when he is on a long gambling session.

So whether he wins or lose, it doesn't matter to him. As long as it will give him relieved and totally forget about the problems that he is facing, he is more willing to play, whatever the cost is. It become a form of escape and that will lead them to becoming a gambling addict.
808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING]Adrien Broner vs Chris Howard (Welterweight) Nov 4. . on: October 29, 2023, 11:02:51 AM
Yes, most likely this is the case, as we all know that Broner doesn't have the hype anymore and obviously his opponent? We don't know him really. So it's a good move for the promoters, or maybe it will be good if this could be in some undercard, so that there will be exposure.

But in any case that the promoters are going to make this a stand alone fight, might be difficult to make money. Unless they really low ball both of this fighters to accept the fight with small money.

Everybody knows Adrien Broner! He's a former champion and even went head-to-head with Manny Pacquiao. Maybe the reason this fight isn't for a championship is that they're trying to figure out how to make it appealing to the fans and generate a ton of money.

I think everyone is more familiar of Broner losing to Marcos Maidana and becoming the internet meme for years. He is somewhat on the downside of his career when he was given that sweepstakes to have a fight with Manny and for sure he made a ton of money out of it. But he lost that fight and his comments post fight interview is one of the craziest.

If they're having trouble finding the right timing, they could make this fight an undercard for a popular main event in boxing. Or, Broner might just decide to leave professional boxing and jump into the hype of exhibition matches. Who knows, maybe he'll even take on one of the Paul Brothers!

Possible, but I'm not seeing any fight next week that can fit this fight. Besides, as what we have seen, Broner is way past his prime and then facing a fighter who is also inactive for many years.
809  Economy / Economics / Re: if you think 18k btc is low wait until autumn ... on: October 29, 2023, 10:12:27 AM
Its ok, we can't have all bull callers, some people has to just do this kind of thing and that's understandable, there is nothing wrong with that. I am not saying that he was right, but not ALL people would be interested. Bitcoin isl like that, it has polar sides and some think that it will constantly drop and some think that it will constantly go up, both are wrong. Sometimes it goes up, sometimes it goes down, if I told people that it would be 15k in a year back when it was 68k, they would think I am mad and stupid  too, but it did fall there, or when it was 4k if I told people it would be 60k+ in a year, they would think I am dreaming. Sometimes we end up being right, sometimes we end up being wrong.
This thread had been started almost one and a half years back. It was during the time bitcoin was close around $50k by the start of 2022 and it slowly started to fall and at some point it reached the range of $18k. What he had mentioned in the title happened, price further dropped during the month of November and touched $16k which is big opportunity for the investors. From there once again the price had turned bullish and was around the range of $23k -$27k for a longer time period and now once again a sudden bounce have taken place reaching $34k+ and this autumn we don't have choice of turning bearish.

Yeah, when I look at this thread, this is a old thread, but still applicable though, not just we only hit $18,000, but last year, we dive go the lowest low for this bear market at $15,500. Which means that everything can really go with the market as we don't have control of it. There will be black swan events that will push the market to it's knees. However, it also shows that bitcoin is very resilient because as we can see right now, with the current price, we are more than 100% back from the lowest low and obviously for those who have been accumulating since November last year, it's already a profit.

But, we shouldn't be tempted to even sell some of our stash, we are still looking forward to a bullish run after the scheduled block halving next year. And after that it will be a bull run that we haven't seen before as the predictions is that it will reach at least $100,000. So we need more patience even if we are only on the positive profits right now.
810  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Error or scam with Bitcoin ETF news? on: October 29, 2023, 09:25:20 AM
@zasad@. Uncle Gary declines to outline their roadmap for approval, however, we can be quite certain that because of political connections and maybe bribery, Blackrock's ETF application will be approved first on iShares' final scheduled deadline on March 15, 2024. This is 2 months before the halving and this will be very good timing to begin the institutional pump to the new all time bitcoin high on 2025 or 2026.

I wouldn't say it's bribery though, but when this big companies like BlackRock with trillions of dollars behind it, it's hard to deny that they have huge influence not just in the financial sector of the US, but in every facets of society.

And for sure Uncle Gary has been feeling the pressures already, going to Congress and facing a backlash and now huge companies knocking on his door to get this Spot Bitcoin ETF approval.

And for this reason that we all have been speculating that a imminent approval could happen, and it's just a matter of time. Might be better if it will coincide with the halving as it will be the news that will fuel the price of Bitcoin to reach $100,000 minimum in the next bull run.
811  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk - December or January in Saudi Arabia on: October 29, 2023, 01:22:42 AM
Francis Ngannou reached a milestone in this fight even though he lost by a split decision, many are surprised by Ngannou's performance he is much better than some of the veteran boxers Fury has fought in the past.
Ngannou can have a good boxing career if he chooses he has good ring generalship and he knows how to time his fight, Ngannou will have a lot of great success for any combat sport that he wants to get.
Scoring a knockdown and coming in very close against a lenial World Heavyweight champion is a huge achievement for him and he should be proud of it, I thought Ngannou won the fight when the first scorecard was announced and he was leading on it.

I don't know which one is more impressive, Francis scoring a knock down and almost winning the fight, or putting up a show for us and maybe believed that he won this fight if not for the judges screwing it up again or not really giving this one to him. At least a draw would have been better instead of giving it to Fury who didn't do anything after that knockdown in round three. Mike Tyson too will be proud of what Francis shows in this fight and almost pull one of the biggest upset.

Usyk will have a better view now on how to fight and beat Fury, if Ngannou almost beat Fury when it was his first boxing match what more can he do when is a a more veteran boxer in the ring.

It exposed Fury for sure, we all know that Usyk has also a great boxing IQ and seeing this fight first hand, he could have already building his strategy already and seeing himself on how he can beat Tyson Fury. Anyhow, the stage is set for Fury and Usyk, unification fight.
812  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: October 29, 2023, 12:48:41 AM
In any case, what is everyone's prediction on Tyson Fury vs. Usyk after witnessing Fury vs. Ngannou?

I honestly don't know how that fight would play out. Usyk isn't nearly as powerful as Ngannou. Fury can't look as sloppy as he was tonight. His confidence might have taken a hit and he might be more hesitant about trying to bully his opponent. Getting knocked down repeatedly throughout his career has got to be taking its toll and I don't know if the next time it happens he will still be able to get up. December is not that far away and Fury needs to get in better shape. There are many doubts but until he is beaten decisively I will still favor him to win. If he is still as fat as he is now and still partying one month from now then I will switch my prediction.

For sure Fury getting knockdown by Francis here will take a toll on him mentally. Although the Gypsy King has proven himself specially on the way he makes his comeback in the Heavyweight division and then taking over it in the last 3 years is amazing. But in this fight it just shows that even the best of them will have off night and it will be a disaster if the judges favor Francis due to the knockdown that he scores.

I reckon that if the knockdown is last, maybe around 6-8 rounds, then it could really sway the score in favor of Francis. But since the knockdown is early, Fury might have gotten away with this boxing skills to make it to the judges score card.

Will be interesting though for Francis vs Joshua. I think that will be an even 50/50 fight or maybe Francis will have a puncher's chance as Joshua doesn't have the chin and recuperation of a Tyson Fury.
813  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Jerwin Ancajas vs Takuma Inoue - Nov 15 on: October 28, 2023, 09:05:49 AM
^^ Ouch, barely two weeks from this fight, but unfortunately, Inoue suffered a rib injury. Just wondering though how can he get this injury? Thru sparring partner? Anyway, it looks like a freak accident and no one wanted to get injured near the fight. And obviously, Inoue doesn't want to go there with his injury as well, this is his first defense and he wanted that there are no excuses on his side.

We really don't know if it is cause by his sparring partner, or maybe he can't really take a body shot. Or he could have been suffering for this injury for a while until he can't bare the pain anymore. So yes, we don't what this kind of injury that postponed a fight. But he has to let everyone know and I think the camp of Ancajas have been informed and can't blame Inoue for that.

And for Jerwin Ancajas, it's better for him to just wait for Takuma Inoue.

No need for a tune-up fight, he just don't know maybe he might get upset, just saying. So they need to take this into consideration as to not derail the fight with Takuma Inoue in the future.

Yes, no need to rush, it might be better for him to take a rest and wait for Takuma. Unless the governing body says that he will go on a title eliminator fight while waiting for Inoue. But as to not take the risk, Ancajas should take a break this Christmas and spend it with his family in the Philippines.
814  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dangerous chasing losses on: October 26, 2023, 02:56:48 AM
I’m not a regular gambler nor an addicted gambler but I recently experienced a terrible chasing loss that start with small amount. I’m on a day off on my job right now due to my minor flu. My feeling got better while I don’t have things to do on my work dormitory so I decided to just gamble for fun only.

My game start by just betting minimum bet on a blackjack table with my initial deposit of 85$ which is my signature campaign earning last week. I lose my initial bank roll with just few bets on consistent losses. I decided to deposit again but this time with higher bankroll which is 250$. I bet twice the minimum bet this time since my bankroll is higher, the result is much terrible loss.

Lastly, I deposit 1800$ to have a better bankroll again, This time I’m betting like a high roller and lucky manage to recover my losses and bag 150$ profit.

Conclusion: I will never gamble again when I’m bored or chase loss small amount. With this exhilarating experience. I think I will stop gambling for a long time and reflec on what dumb thing I do today.

Damn, I can't imagine how you feel when you deposit those big money, $1,800 is already huge amount as a bankroll and just to chase your initial $85+$250. But I can feel you, I have been in that kind of situation before. Depositing and then trying to chase the lost, but the twist on my end is that I was able to recover back some of the initial bankroll.

But I still didn't stop, and still chase for big win. Then I lost, then deposited some money again, and it the end I lost everything.

For sure it's a big and expensive lessons for you to learn and I just hope that you will not play as you have said as you already know the consequences of chasing losses.
815  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk - December or January in Saudi Arabia on: October 26, 2023, 02:39:12 AM
Francis will be like a sparring session for Fury, sort of a training but Fury should be worrying whether he could really fight after just 2-4 months.

https://www.boxingscene.com/usyk-on-injuries-ahead-fury-showdown-i-t-say-everything-ok-everythings-under-control--178633

Usyk having an injury for which he needed 14 weeks to train is like a fight between Usyk and Fury written on the flowing waters. And him talking about injuries with no exact date or location yet. Something tells me it won't happen.

Maybe the Big Belly vs Ngannou fight is scripted? However, even without a script, it is still hard to imagine a 37-year-old who has been inactive for nearly 2 years beating a boxing champion in his debut. So Tyson Fury should be fine. My guess earlier is the fight with Usyk should happen before Christmas and New Year's or the fight will be moved to early March onwards.

The expected date is December 23. If Usyk has an injury he rather demand a later date or he will regret losing to Fury with an injury. Just like when his friend Loma lost a close fight to Teofimo Lopez and was only operated after the fight.

There's also a statement from Fury's camp that Usyk can file a case if he won't fight on December 23. It seems like the contract is signed but without a date and Big Belly is the one to decide it. I won't be surprised though if he tries to exploit Usyk again like giving a short notice to shorten the regular training camp.

I can't remember, but I read the Usyk is somewhat injured right now, so there is a big possibility that the Usyk vs Fury might push for next year. But still, Usyk said that he is willing to fight so for sure this fight is going to push through.

And yes, I don't see Francis putting up a massive upset on Tyson here. It's good that we see promotions in this fight. But it will take Francis to be lucky to hit Tyson and knock him out for good. That is the only way he can win this fight, with a knockout. But Tyson Fury is also a defensive boxer so I doubt that Francis can land his signature power punch just like he did in UFC.

It's just crazy how they want to get each other's skin that Fury goes so far in announcing his fight with Usyk while his fight with Francis hasn't happened yet. No one has done that in the history of boxing.
But this could be the reason why Usyk is not up to what Fury is playing.

The Fury vs Usyk fight could have happened last Dec 2022 but Fury was ducking Usyk and instead fighting the ones he knows are no match to him such as Chisora.

Indeed, perhaps Fury's camp really knows that this is just a tune-up for him and the big fish is Usyk. Maybe they don't want to go to Usyk directly though and have him wait as we all know that there is also this element of pysche war going on between this two top HW fighters.

Usyk has his fight already, won (although it could be argued that it was controversial). Now it's time for Fury to win against Francis.

And once he win, obviously, it will be December or early next year for Usyk vs Fury.
816  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 25, 2023, 12:23:00 PM
Jack Catterall vs Jorge Linares, no knockdown happen, Jack did his best to score but Linares has avoided that knockout. So it's pretty much a chess game all throughout but Jack is clearly winning on points as his left hand always finds it's target.

So the score is all in favour of Catterall: 117-111, and 116-112.

We were expecting that Josh Taylor will give Catterall his chance for a rematch as a domestic rival. But we all know that Taylor chooses to fight Teo Lopez and he was dominated and lost his belt. So there's no more hype of a Catterall and Taylor rematch.

Here are the highlight of the fight, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fDt17FsjfW4

He fought at old Linares, so it should be an easy fight for him. However, Linares didn't make it easy for Jack, although Catterall has the power with this left hand, (not surprised that he should have won against Josh Taylor back then, and why Taylor didn't give him a rematch). But Linares seems to be in the best shape of his life that's why he was able to stand up until the 12 rounds.

So let's give props to the old champ, but with this performance, he should retire for good. He was a good 2x champ back in the days, knock down Loma during their fight, wobbled Haney. But now he is no longer in his prime and time to hang up that gloves.

As for Catterall, Teo Lopez could be a good fight for him next, for a title fight in the US.

I took a pass in this fight last weekend. I find Catterall a boring fighter and he was cherry-picking a very old former 3 division champion. Catterall needs an impressive win in order to make trends in the division once again since Taylor already lost and is moving up in weight. But maybe he could get an offer from any of the current champions which I believe he still deserves.

As for Linares, I am glad he announced his retirement. He could've taken an easy fight and then retired for good. He's got great memories in his career. His journey was very inspiring. Venezuelan boxing has less support and sponsorships, the reason it is hard to become a champion or a long-time champion. Luckily for Linares, he started his career in Japan and was signed by Teiken Promotions. With Linares, Chocolatito Gonzales, and Edwin Valero, at the same time, those were the golden days of Teiken having developed foreigners into stardom.

But I guess fans are still wanting to see Jack Catterall because of his controversial fight with Josh Taylor back then. Fans wanted to see if Jack is for real. Although his fight is against a old and fading former champion in Jorge Linares, still a good gauge for Jack as Linares doesn't want to back down from his power left and chooses to fight fire with fire.

However, he is way past his prime already, and it's good that he will retire. Most likely he had a lot of money from his fights and save enough for his family. Specially you mentioned his humble beginnings and then become a world champion from Venezuela.

And if I'm not mistaken, one of the best boxer that came from Venezuela is Edwin Valero, it could have been great to see him fight Manny Pacquiao during their primes but Edwin was a enigma and it's sad how his career and life ended.

The rise in Bitcoin in a short time yesterday clearly brought us joy. Investors may have sold some of their Bitcoins to take advantage. However, many investors are still holding Bitcoin and not selling it at yesterday's high price.

But it is still far from the previous ATH where Bitcoin is currently still struggling to reach the previous ATH. And now, the price correction has come. This correction makes me curious because with the $34k level reached, where will the price of Bitcoin fall? Can Bitcoin price remain above $30k during the current correction or will Bitcoin price return to below $30k?

It remains a mystery to us. And people who bought Bitcoin at $33k or $34k yesterday could be worried because they bought Bitcoin at high prices. But if they don't panic about the decline in Bitcoin and can hold their Bitcoin tightly, they will see that they will make a profit in the future.
I don't think there has been a price correction right now from the significant increase that occurred in the last few days, currently the price is still in the $34k-$35k price range which means it is still quite high and we are still waiting to see whether the increase will continue or vice versa.

We don't deserve to talk about ATH right now, currently a significant increase has just occurred and we are entering a halving time which allows us to return to seeing the things we want.
There is no need to panic, Bitcoin's movement tends to be more in a positive direction this year, and that indicates it will continue until the end of the year, and I am quite optimistic about that.

Right, I also don't see any correction, and the investors are interested more than ever this year as it we have seen the price pushed to $35,000. And I think we can still maintained that price at the end of this month. The sentiments are now very bullish.

Of course, we are still very far from the all time high, we are even half of it at the current price. The discussion will come next year, after the block halving as it is the catalyst for the bull run that we are expecting.

No one is on the panic mode or pushing the sell button. But still a good way to accumulate and buy Bitcoin even if it is $35.000.
819  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bitcoin Genesis Block. Inflation, Israel and Gaza, coincidence? on: October 25, 2023, 10:12:43 AM
Bitcoin Genesis block has a Coinbase message from Satoshi Nakamoto.

Genesis block.
Quote
The Times 03/Jan/2009 Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks
The message is taken the headline from The Times on that day.

But I surprised to see another headline.
"Israel prepares to send tanks and troops into Gaza".

Is it coincidence that the world, the USA. are struggling with inflation since pandemic Covid-19 and again, there is another war in Middle East between Israel and Gaza?

I don't discuss geopolitics here. I only wonder will this war causes the inflation worse?

Probably this is just a coincidence, we don't want to think that Satoshi knows that something is going to happen in the future that's why he uses that headline in the newspaper for his Genesis Block. And maybe for others, this is another conspiracy for them, LOL

And the war has been going on for years already, so not surprised that it was in the headline that time.

Do not think that this is another Simpson episode that predicted the future.

This have been discussed few times before and someone have to do it again maybe often, for those of you looking to become a gambler what is your motives behind it? To make money? Or to have some fun? Here is my advice to everyone of you.

Why not treat casinos the same ways like you are going to the movies or bowling? You are simply paying for the experience and the entertainment, it's either you enjoy it or you may not, can you feel me? You don't know how bad a movie can be until you watched it, so....

For the movies though, there are trailers that you can see before you may want to watch that movie, so that is a bad analogy to begin with. Unlike when you go to casinos, you don't know if you are going to win or not. and 99% of the time is that you are going to lose.

Casinos, either online or offline, isn't a place to win money for the 99% of people, but this same group of people want to confused or already confused themselves that they can make money gambling, this isn't the proper way. It's meant to be for fun and not so serious like your life depends on it.

Yeah, but when you go to casinos, you will at least be positive and think that you are going to win. If not then good, at least bring money that you can afford to lose. So that it won't be a issue for you if you win or lose money.

If you want your life to goes on with ease, learn to be a fun gambler and not too dependent on gambling, this is what gets people f**ked, the reality of gambling is you win when it's not even expected, be a responsible gambler.

It's not that easy though because gambler will be gamblers. They are their to win some money no matter what. Of course, they will be entertained at some point. But if you continue to lose money just for the sake of being entertained, then think again.
