801  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I will invest the money to buy the land in Bitcoin. on: December 07, 2023, 07:13:28 PM
I am a government servant, working in regional land office.  At the end of five years of my working life, I have spent part of the salary I received during these five years for family and saved part for future. I have been saving my money in the bank for more than five years for the purpose of saving for the future and purchasing a land. If I were to mention the amount of money I saved in five years, it would be about 11 thousand dollars if converted to US dollars.
Don't you think you approached this wrongly especially knowing very well that land never depreciates no matter which part of the world...unless it's a war zone! Probably you have your reasons for not doing so earlier, maybe because of other commitments....

But on a serious note, since we can't cry over spelled milk this is your next opportunity to buy that land and get something to your name.. and don't miss this discount as the next 5years price will skyrocket as demand is high for real estate projects coming up every day.

My plan was to buy a land with this amount of money but whenever looking for land to buy land my idea completely changes because the lands I like will not give me this amount of money. If I can't buy land in a position, I have no desire to buy land in a common place.
That's what they mean when they say money changes people, you have the money for X but now you want Y or Z..it's a normal thing  Grin Cool

Since I have like 11 thousand dollars right now, I want to invest this amount in Bitcoin instead of keeping it in the bank.
Instead of throwing everything at Bitcoin from your savings, use a small percentage of your salary to buy Bitcoin every month and before you know it your crypto investment will be healthy in a few years from now Wink
802  Economy / Services / Re: 🚧[CFNP] [banned mixer] | Bitcoin Mixer | Signature Campaign ~ Up to $130/week on: December 07, 2023, 04:34:46 AM
That's currently being discussed. The Coinomize team is open to promote their platform on other crypto-related forums. The top two choices are Bitcoingarden and Altcointalks. Might be best to create an account on those aforementioned forums (I already have mine since 2018).  Cheesy
However, again, this is still in discussion; I'll let you guys know what the Coinomize team has decided.
In fact, I have a Bitcoin Garden account starting in 2016 and Altcointalks starting in 2017.
But there is little interaction.  But we can only wait for their policy,
or for there to be a platform other than these 2 alternative forums.
True Bitcoiners  Cool and if this transfer happens traffic could be redirected to these places and awaken these forums Roll Eyes

But unfortunately, new members won't be able to signup on BitcoinGarden which looks sig ready too as I see julerz12 already wearing a colorful Coinomize signature Cool
803  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 06, 2023, 09:03:19 PM
So United has rumours of some players being unruly and Erik ten Hag chooses to drop the likes of Martial and Rashford to the bench and suddenly United is playing full of confidence which tells a story here and hope am not being speculative here  Roll Eyes!

Btw, With Chelsea being in far better form I honestly didn't expect the Reds devils to be the better team here despite of the scoreline(1-1) but I feel United should take this one with the 12th player on their side and being on their home turf..let's go United!

Elsewhere, Aston Villa giving Manchester City a hard lesson and with the form they are in they could get away with a win here...

As it stands Aston Villa 1-0 Man City HT

Match still 0-0 between Aston Villa and Manchester City

btw. I haven't recognized the reason why Sinbad was immediately archived, while some previously seized/closed are still open. Like Blender, Chipmixer, Whirlwind... What's the difference here?
Sinbad had 50% funds from criminals.

Whoever used that service or even worse advertised/promoted it (to gain monetary profit) aided criminals.
examplens has a valid argument here, seized/closed mi*ers need to go through the same same path as others as law enforcement was involved and a reason for Sinbad content  being archived here!

By the way It's not about the percentage of funds being deemed dirty why Sin was hit the hardest, just so you know exchanges, casino's & other platforms do get this dirty money too a reason why some users funds get frozen when this information reaches them...
805  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: help me not to leave btc on: December 06, 2023, 01:30:23 PM
I'm a 19-year-old boy living in South Korea and now btt, doge, shiba inu, etc.. have skyrocketed in just a few hours on our country exchange 'upbit'. A little fomo is coming. I can't believe it's gone up more than a months I've invested in bitcoin. I personally don't want to invest in other coins, as I think bitcoin is superior.
Everyone is entitled to what works best for them and here I see you have picked Bitcoin which isn't a bad choice considering its the king of crypto , though it wouldn't be a bad idea to try other coins too as ROI is usually greater than that of BTC but requires finding the hidden gem in Altcoins.

What kind of mindset should I have to stay in Bitcoin?
If you want to invest and stay in Bitcoin for a long-term then avoid looking at chart's at any given opportunity as you could prematurely sell because of fear of a crash and price might lose momentum somewhere along the way which wouldn't help in your bitcoin journey.

And I think Bitcoin is about to hit the highest price ever, so how should I plan my dca strategy?
Not sure if you have something to do that brings in money, if you do you need to be committing a small percentage of your money towards your DCA investment which won't be easy be will reward you in the future for the commitment.
806  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 10000$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: December 06, 2023, 08:50:26 AM
Season 3 - CURRENTLY RUNNING
...
  • 4 players will be promoted from Division 3 to Division 2. Division 3A winner and Division 3B winner will be promoted directly, and players placed on positions 2, 3, 4 and 5 from both Division 3’s will enter a cup-style playoff format.
  • Out of these 8 players, only 1 will secure direct promotion. The loser of the final game of this promotion bracket will have 1 more chance though – he’ll play the 13th team from Division 2 for a spot in Division 2 next season.

We're glad to hear you're having fun, your Division is a bit weird this season but offers a good chance of qualification to the higher one.
Totally agree, our division this season is weird probably because of the poor attendance of players...

And you saying Dv3 players have a Good chance of qualification  Roll Eyes I don't think so!

If you aren't the winner of the division here, then chances of promotion drop instantly especially that we have to battle it out in the cup-style playoff which looks like some competitive users will be featuring  and not forgetting the last battle with the Dv2 player Tongue

Is it just me or it was much easier to be promoted in the earlier editions of the competition???

808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The worst slot provider ever? on: December 05, 2023, 12:20:52 PM
Am not a slots kinda of person but after learning about volatility and Return to Player I honestly think it's about choosing the right slot and having an adequate balance to play with... the problem I find with most players is they want to hit big winners in a few rolls which doesn't work..slots are about the long game regardless of how much you wager!!!

So saying there is a good or bad provider doesn't make a valid case, get your playing strategy right and see yourself winning more  Cool
809  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betnomi | Project status & Refund Plan! on: December 05, 2023, 10:35:36 AM
Betnomi Refund Plan

we are ready to accept and process refund requests. Kindly send an email to refund@betnomi.com with the following details:

Code:
1. First name, Last name (if you are KYC verified)
2. Username (request will be ignored if the username does not exist)
3. Email address (request will be ignored if the email does not match)
4. Refund Amount (approximate balance is acceptable)
5. Wallet address (we will process only in the cryptocurrency you have)

Our aim is to responsibly refund our users and ensure a secure process.

Thank you all for your cooperation.

Refund process is welcome but looking at how long this has taken it would be prudent to send emails out incase some users gave up on their hard earned money and aren't aware that you have comeback to resolve these cases and fix your reputation .

Better yet, since you have the backups in place and most likely know the affected users why not send out those emails and not just saying if you don't add email or username you won't be refunded!
Be proactive & show responsiblility and good luck to you betnomi  Cool
810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Winning big amount after watching streamer on: December 05, 2023, 09:57:44 AM
Congratulations on the big win buddy  Cool

For someone that doesn't play slot games , well played and if you have to factor in that the fact that this game has high volatility and probably a healthy Return to Player(RTP) means you were destined to hit a bigger winner especially that you never gave up on the game which is how you play these slot games and hope continue to with proper risk management, congrats once again Wink

Btw, was a huge fan of Xposed back in the day when he worked with Roobet and I must say he was good at what he did, maybe because he played on the house balance but still hit some big winners but can't follow his play style  Tongue

The Catalan side FC Barcelona is on the way to sell Robert Lewandowski this summer:
FC Barcelona is recognizing the need to sell the Polish striker Robert Lewandowski this summer due to his lack of performance. Robert Lewandowski has already turned 35 years old, for he became older with the passage of time, and his performance status is getting lower as compared to previous years
It was inevitable, and the only reason Robert Lewandowski's transfer was made possible from Bayern, was because Barcelona were desperate to get a striker during their bad spell. And now that age is catching up with our Polish striker, the Catalanians now want to jump ship which is fine as younger players need to be ushered in for the next generation of the Barca team.

Probably if Newcastle considers him as an option then yes. I heard that he recently had surgery related to his vision and wears glasses (maybe temporarily?). For a goalkeeper, vision is one of the most important qualities, but apparently it was a planned operation and there is nothing serious if Newcastle are thinking about signing him. Pope's injury is another force majeure event for Newcastle and for my fantasy team. This will be another forced transfer  Undecided
An option as a loan for 1 season would be better, not a permanent contract?

David De Gea is now quite old, if for example Newcastle only brought in to replace Pope during the recovery of 1 season then I think De Gea would be very suitable he is still quite skilled despite his age.
Loan option is a good idea if he turns out to be a performer and doesn't need more time to cope with the new team, but issue will be if he turns out to be too good then before you know it he will be demanding for more money and a source of another problem comes in...

Btw with goalkeepers, I don't think age is much of a factor as these guys don't really need to be active as they do less of the running on the pitch, so this not much of a worry for  David De Gea who should fit in well!
813  Other / Meta / Re: Mixers to be banned on: December 04, 2023, 04:32:19 PM
Considering mixers arent so much different from Custodial exchanges, if these guys rebranded as exchanges..can they continue to operate here?

Maybe its time to have some kind of geofenced forum, US users will not access mixer related content, and for everyone else no restrictions applied Roll Eyes
814  Other / Meta / Re: Was the forum better before without Merit or is it better now with Merit? on: December 04, 2023, 03:02:40 PM
I think both era's had/have their strengths and weakness, but I think the first era without the merit requirements was a great one has it gave us the freedom which many of us enjoyed!
But unfortunately this freedom was abused with spam on the forum, which lead to the era of the merit system..which meant any spammers of the forum would not rank up..and unfortunately I think the system of merit is broken aswell as most users have brought in their A game but because of language barriers not belonging  to the forums local boards or not fitting in into certain cliques some users don't rank up as the merit system doesn't favour all!!

Otherwise all in all, I liked the era without merit way better than this one, no hard feelings guys and girls Roll Eyes
815  Other / Meta / Re: Mixers to be banned on: December 04, 2023, 11:12:10 AM
I'm not sure what the negative impact of banning mixers on the forum would be other than no longer seeing signature of mixers being used by the best contributors - but the essence would probably be better for the forum and its survival.
The fact that mixers around here have the best incentives means them going down could mean less traffic coming into the forum and less active users altogether!

And with the likelihood of gambling sigs becoming the dominant services once again, this could mean the so called top contributors could become regulars in boards such as the Gambling board which for some reason is considered the hub of spam Roll Eyes

One other impact that will come from this is an increase in post quality as places in sigs get to become competitive...

Am looking at question 1 and thinking this might turn out invalid before the start of the round in the sense that

should both teams win but one wins with over 9.5 points and the other team wins by less than 9.5points

then this technically invalidates the question as we have no options to reflect this outcome @cro2 .Is it too late to make amendments to the question?

Code:
1. Euroleague's heavyweights Real and Barcelona have some tough away games ahead of them - Real is travelling to Olympiakos
while Barcelona is facing Virtus Bologna. Will both Spanish teams manage to win their games?

*Yes, both win with over 9,5 points difference combined
*Yes, both win with under 9,5 points difference combined
*No, they lose 1 or both games

820  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most gamblers do not believe they can consistently make money, that's why... on: December 03, 2023, 04:25:51 PM
As you've read the thread title, I'll continue the explanation here, as it cannot accommodate additional text. I've come across numerous topics and posts where gamblers express disbelief in the idea of consistently making profit through gambling. It makes me question whether these individuals are truly involved in gambling or if they're posting without the real experiences and knowledge.
The problem with today's world is that many of us just want to see the success side of things and never want to know the failures that lead to the actual success!
If anything, people need to be told that behind every success story, there is failure that was the foundation and lead to a change of mindset that cracked the code to become successful.

And when it comes to gambling the problem that's there is emotions which lead to greed otherwise when all these obstacles are overcome, one can build a successful story.

Btw, not everyone that is making it in gambling is winning genuinely...some use prohibited strategies such as arbitrage which makes them consistent winners  Tongue

Personally, I firmly believe that there are people who have achieved real success in gambling. What perplexes me is why many discourage gambling as a means of making money.
Unfortunately it's a small number of people that have found success in gambling which is why many users wouldn't want anybody to go all in and take it iPad a career, this should be strictly for fun and games and monetary incentive as a byproduct.
