801  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Coins.ph is expanding on: January 26, 2024, 12:28:17 PM
Coins.ph is to expand it's services into Europe, Latin America, Australia and Africa and any users in these countries either Filipinos or not they can now send crypto in the Philippines. Though US was not on the list but they said securing licenses to this country is way too expensive just like Japan, South Korea and Hongkong but they are aiming to get one in the near future.

For me this is good news to Filipino crypto enthusiasts living and working abroad as they can now send remittances through this cryptocurrency related  innovation without any hassle.

Source: https://news.abs-cbn.com/business/01/25/24/coinsph-expanding-globally-eyes-slice-of-remittances

Woah! that's nice to hear, It will surely speed up the transfer of money by other Filipinos, especially those people live or working in other countries, it will be less hassle and more convenient, it will be a big help to everyone and maybe this will be the reason for more people using coins.ph in different parts of the world. Hopefully the US and Canada can secure a license soon, especially since we have many fellow Filipinos who will be working there.

803  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Pacquiao vs. Buakaw - April 20 on: January 26, 2024, 11:29:42 AM
Would be fun to watch both legends but was more excited on Pacquiao coming to the ring again considering I'm not that familiar with Buakaw though it ring a bell. I think the favor would be on Manny considering it is his niche that they'll fight for but there's not much of disparity though on both sports. Will support Pacquiao all the way.

Yeah right, knowing pacquiao as one of the defending champion in the world of boxing, It's nice to know that he's going to fight again since He mentioned then that he will retire from boxing and he will focus on the senate in the Philippine government. I can see that many gamblers will come out and bet huge amounts, I know most of them will definitely vote for pacquiao.

804  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been able to win a game given to you in the dream? on: January 26, 2024, 09:07:10 AM
Dreams are not something that predict the future, but merely a process where your brain will take something that you experienced and then try to interpret and analyse it to be able to sort it or even wipe it from your memory.

Do this experiment, play the game "Tetris" for a couple of hours and you are almost certain to dream about it, because your brain are still processing it in your sleep. 😁😁

Our sub-conscious mind will make connections in our brain, even when you are sleeping and dreaming is just one of those things. (Human CPU)

That's what I'm going to say too. That's right, our dreams is the result of your sub-conscious mind, It can also the result in a change of our emotions. Example, when a person often watches scary shows, the ending is that they carry it to their sleep and to dream. I have to admit that I used to believe in my dreams a lot and I used to believe that what was in my dream would happen in real life. I said that because there were times when it happened. The more I think about it, the more I manifested it But now I don't think about it too much. There are places that are too superstitious just like in our country, so sometimes when I dream bad, I do what the elders say "knock on the wood".
There's nothing wrong with trying, same with gambling, there's nothing wrong with believing sometimes on the things that are shown in dreams, but we should not rely on our dreams when it comes to gambling.
805  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: To any Bitcoin holder who lost their seed: How did you lose it? on: January 26, 2024, 08:20:55 AM
What mistakes did you make, and what advice do you have for others to be careful?

What are the best and worst ways of storing a seed in your opinion?

One of the things I'll never forget about my journey to crypto, was when there was a system issue and all my seed phrases were saved there on the computer. I was a newbie to crypto and I was making money because of signature campaigns and white paper translations. My computer was suddenly reformatted and all the files were lost. I was so complacent that time, that I had to hide all the seed phrases of my accounts in 1 device only, I didn't have any back up copy and that time I didn't have hard wallet so what happened was that everything I worked on was gone.
806  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Gold, land which better? on: January 26, 2024, 08:02:44 AM
Why not just save from your allowance and then invest it on Bitcoin. The only way to convince them is to show them that you can really make a profit in Bitcoin rather than depositing it in a bank, saving money won't make you rich but investing it will.

However, don't forget to do some research first before buying, for you to be able to buy at a very good price, don't just randomly buy out of nowhere because you wanted to.

This is what I want to say to OP, why don't we work hard and save to invest in bitcoin, and prove to our parents and those around us that investing in bitcoin is beneficial?
It's funny, why do so many people think of asking others to invest in bitcoin while they know nothing about bitcoin? Put yourself in their shoes, if we knew nothing about bitcoin and were encouraged by others to invest, would we follow what they said? We certainly wouldn't agree, so instead of telling our parents to invest money in bitcoin, we should invest it ourselves. And if we don't have the ability to make money, don't try to teach others to get rich.

Exactly! We can't encourage our parents to invest in something especially if they have no idea about it. We can even more confident to encourage them if they can see the progress of investing in bitcoin to ourselves. You're right, it's best to do it before we share it with other people so they don't doubt us and if they have questions we can defend ourselves. We need to show our parents that they can trust us when it comes to money and investment. We're going to show them that it's better as well to have an invest in crypto than just to have our money piled up in the bank.
807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your state on mind if your son stole your money to gamble? on: January 26, 2024, 07:39:46 AM
Question: would she be so disheartened and mad as this if the son had won the bet on a multi million price?
Dear fellows, let's assume you are the mom, what would be your state of mind on this context?
I don't think so unless his son confess that he won such kind of prize. I think win or lose that needs some parenting discipline for him to realize that it was wrong and doing it again may lead to some consequences. Giving them some punishment is enough for them to know what's wrong and right, that's the bittersweet of parenting.

If you have a good relationship and transparent communication with your child, This kind of stealing and lying can be avoided. Sometimes when children are curious about something, they tend to try it, they will find a way to know something, and because they are aware that it is bad to gamble especially at their age, they hide it from their parents. However, if the child grows up to be able to communicate with his parents and have a good relationship, then this can be avoided. The best thing to do if this happens to your children is to give them a proper discipline and put them in a good conversation.
808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your view on this? Is it fun or addiction? on: January 26, 2024, 07:19:51 AM
Generational wealth from gambling is like walking on air, we all know how impossible this is unless one is a great magician, still possible but only few magicians can pull this trick, how many gamblers have turned wealthy in gambling? Maybe 10 out of millions.

Are you going to bet all your life and precious time on something that brings this thinly chances of luck to human? You may not the next number eleven because the chances are too slim, this is the true meaning of gambling.

What OP shared is a very bad advice and I hope it doesn't get into the mind of any newbie on here, telling people to take a loan is even the worst, you literally can not lose it says, LMAO, that's crazy.

It's really hard to imagine that you're going to spend all your money and assets that you have with something uncertain decision whether you'll win or not.  You're lucky if you're one of those people who gets richer because of gambling. for me, I'd be laughing if you had to drive to OP's shared post advice because which sane person would give advice like that especially to newbies in gambling? it's like the guy who posted that, wants other gamblers to be like him, he wants them to suffer at the same time because he already in debt and have lost all assets because of gambling addiction,
809  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gaurd yourself this year against crypto scams on: January 25, 2024, 09:36:09 PM
Guard and save yourself, and let the other people do their way. But if you want to keep safe, then invest only in Bitcoin, nothing else.
Yes, you're right --stop listening to influencers as they don't care about people's losses because they did it to perform their task even though it was a big lie/scam. For the sake of money...

Rugpulls are very know after the Tera Luna issue, many projects have followed and many will come next in the future. So we have to think wisely and only invest in projects that have real use cases, not just full of promises.

You can invest to other platforms as well, but you have to make sure and you need to make a research about that, to avoid scam and loss. I agree with you, I used to be amazed at influencers and how they market and promote the investments and services they offer, but now I'm slowly learning that they can trick other people, even if their claims on something are not true.they will make it a way to make it more believable in the eyes and minds of their viewers.
810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think women will make better gamblers by their nature? on: January 25, 2024, 02:03:41 PM
This could be one reason why gambling do not appeal to them as much as it does to us, because we are so used to taking bigger risks and they are not. This is of course a psychological study that needs to be done and can not be figured out by some bitcointalk forum poster, that is just not a credible source so do not quote me on that.

A lot of women gamble, a lot specially if the environment of the website is conducive enough. Chat rooms are often filled with female gamblers if they feel safe, like Stake, but not one sites like bustabit, where almost everyone is being mean and trolling others.

These women are mostly those who are addicted to drugs and have the habit of taking risks or suffering from some family problem. They often come to these sites to stay away from their problems and in the mean time end up gambling. Often they are suffering from debts too and to cover them end up in risky trade offs.

You could do some studies from gambling sites, the ratio is very close.

How do you know that women are more addicted in gambling and drugs? Do you have any documents or links to prove what you say? For me, you cannot immediately measure that until it is observed and studied, there are also surveys that need to be conducted before giving this opinion,so get your facts straight.
All I know is that it's not a nature of a women to be addicted to gambling, But one things is for sure, Most women have a weak hearts and emotions so they quickly fall into anyone's trap especially under the influence of gambling.
811  Economy / Economics / Re: Learn to use DEBT in a proper way to create asset on: January 25, 2024, 12:34:31 PM
In my opinion, everyone should have a plan for their life, including the future, because the future is determined by us from now on, if for example we use debt and spend it properly, such as for business needs or other things, then it is likely that this will not be a problem. but if it is as I said above then it will be a problem and it is possible that it could hinder or even become a problem in the future.
Of course, in my opinion, everyone can determine which choices are good and bad, but on the other hand, there are people who dare to take very risky actions, by taking out loans even though they are not really needed, such as just to fulfill their desire to be stylish. I think that's a bad move or maybe stupid.
Not everyone has their own business to use their debt. The better advice is to avoid getting into debt if there's nothing important to spend the money on, especially if it won't bring you any financial returns. Try to avoid it as much as possible because having debt will not bring you any benefits if you use it just to enjoy the lifestyle you desire. However, if you already have a running business, you can use the debt to increase the funds of the business, and the money generated from the business can be used to pay for the debt.

Agree, for someone who has no business, just use the money in the right way especially if you are having debt, Always think carefully where will you spend the money so that you'll be having no regrets in the long run. Having a loan and debt is not bad because it depends on your capability, how and where will you use the money that you want to borrow. Take note that we need to become responsible in our own funds to avoid huge problem in the future.
812  Economy / Economics / Re: My life plan for wealth and btc good idea on: January 25, 2024, 11:36:30 AM
All i need Are one good person who actually knows btc prices so all i need is just to know btc price.
When i buy low sell high and same time i load up alt coins so i make huge money.
And world is kind of finances Crisis i better don't do btc money but working with btc but for this we need to know exacly btc price movements best If someone can teach me how to know btc prices or If not Im ready to Pay for it.
Im not here to gamble Im here to do sure money and for sure profit.

So this how my Life dream and yours Also nobody don't need to work If they know btc prices.

Getting that will be very hard, but you can get some close prediction from those experts who dedicate there time in reading just charts and making profit both on bull season and on bear season but there analysis don’t always come out 100% correct so even if you see anyone offering you that kind of deal don’t be too convinced just know that the crypto market is some how unpredictable and you should always proceed with caution in other for you to be on the safer side.

Yeah right, and there will be no person who knows the exact prediction when it comes in bitcoin price, as we know that btc is volatile and even the smartest investors doesn't know when the price will spike up. It requires a lot of technical analysis and observation, but they cannot give the exact answer because no one really knows about the next  move of bitcoin. Make sure that you don't fall into the trap of those people who offers you that kind of deal.
813  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Airdrop Hunting on: January 25, 2024, 11:16:10 AM

Sabi nga think first before you click.

815  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think gambling every day is better? on: January 25, 2024, 10:17:54 AM
To be honest, gambling everyday may lead into your success in cashing out huge amount, but like they say whatsoever has advantages also have disadvantages. It can lead to taking gambling as a priority and makes the person more lazy into going out to hustle to meet up his cost of living due to the hope of him getting a bigger cash out one of the days.
I love the honesty in your opinion about gambling everyday and I commend you for your truthfulness. I know some people who'll only talk about the positive sides of gambling everyday and wouldn't want to talk about the disadvantages of it.

Just like you rightly said, gambling everyday I think increases the chances of a gambler's success in gambling but I think the disadvantage is bigger than the advantage because for a gambler to be engaged in gambling activities in everyday of his life, the possibilities of becoming a gambling addict is very high and that's the worst thing that can happen to a gambler. But for those who can perfectly control their gambling engagements, gambling everyday might not be a problem to them rather it'll help to achieve success in gambling

Gambling everyday is not right, besides how can one gamble everyday? Does it mean that the gambler do not have any other activities to do? However it is right for them to answer this question.
As gambling everyday is not good so everyone who's gambling should avoid it because they might end up becoming addicted to it as it can only increase the chance of losing their money.

trueeee, No matter what angle we look at, it's not really okay to gamble every day, unless you've made it as your daily source of income, which shouldn't be, because it's not advisable to make gambling a job or career.
Gambling can have a huge impact on yourself and your mind, it can also cause the breakdown of your family especially if you are married and have children, how can you support your own family if you rely on gambling to earn money? Additional, This is not a good example for your children, especially when they learn that you are always out of time gambling rather than looking for a good job. You may not be surprised that your children's feeling will be so far away from you and that the worst part is that they will be like you when they get older.
816  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who does gambling addiction affect the most? on: January 25, 2024, 09:53:41 AM

So I want to ask, between the gambling addict and his immediate family, who does the addiction affect the most?
The imidiate family suffers the humiliation. In my country we usually say that a mad man is not ashamed of his nakedness but the family member does. That is indirectly telling you that whatever thing a gambler does always affect the family. Sometimes when a chronic gambler takes a loan and play game and it happens that the game didn't go well, and they are beginning to demand for the loan he took, if he can't be seen anywhere, his family will be held responsible for the loan their son took. And now it's indirectly affecting the family members.
Yes, that's the rule if he didn't take with him any co-maker of the loan. It will directly be passed to the immediate family of the borrower and if the bank is going to their house, I am sure the next time it will be a letter of a possible imprisonment if the borrowed amount is not paid in a designated time.

Anyway, yes, I do agree that it's always been the family who will suffer from this type of problem. Gambling addiction. It's not the gambler because I am sure he will just try to escape all of those not thinking about the harm that he has done to his family. Not just the humiliation but maybe even the financial problem if they are forced to pay the loan.
Those who do this don't even care about what their family would feel anymore and I bet the same thing will happen from the perspective of the family to that gambler who does nothing good but only trouble.
Leaving your problems behind to other people means you have also no chance to come back especially if it's a problem that is difficult to fix. Even if they ask for help the next time they are cornered, I bet they won't be welcomed in that home anymore.

I have also been in a similar situation because one of my relatives has been in debt, And since he has no money to pay off his debts, he often hides when someone comes to his house to collect his debt, what happens, is that his children and parents face the person who is collecting money from them. He no longer felt the shame and perversion he was doing to his family because of the wrong things that he did. So I think, both the gambler and extended family affected the most, Because his family can do nothing but to help him because they are the ones who are going to work together, but hopefully in such circumstances he will learn his lessons and he will be able to realize what he did wrong especial about neglecting money because of gambling.
817  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can a social or casual good guesser make better gambling prediction carrier? on: January 25, 2024, 09:14:36 AM
Gambling is game of  luck, but  sometimes requires experience, skill and a good player not a good guesser. Especially sports games like football, basketball, rugby etc requires analysing and evaluation of teams not how good you are on guessing. These games involves those that follow them up, fan and gamblers familiar to these game. If you are not gambling on games you aware of then you will be good looser in your guessing. Your guessing can only work if you are familiar or know about the games you want to bet.

Exactly! Even if we say that gambling is all about luck or something, sometimes it really requires skills and analyzation when doing it because if you really know what you are doing, there's a tendency that you have any tips and Ideas how you are going to win. If you just do the guessing every time you gamble, it's like you're wasting money  and you have to think that what you're doing is not challenging.  if you do the prediction game all the time, you'll lose interest in the things that you do. So many people invest their time in gambling because they feel the excitement in every game they do.
818  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: They know the truth but they don't want to accept it, publicly on: January 25, 2024, 08:55:31 AM
What brings people into gambling is money and when money is not there then we can say is just a merely game of wish because no body would like to waste their time to gamble what doesn't bring profits to them. You know people sticks on gambling site all time just to have that break through that they have won something large from gambling or has changed their life with gambling and most of the news shared here keeps motivating people to gamble more and that's is how people keeps coming to try their luck.

In fact, what you mentioned is true, but sometimes, when a person likes the game he does, he doesn't care about the money whether he wins or not. let's admit that money makes us gamble but some people still choose their pleasure over money. So some say that gambling for them is just for enjoyment, but if we look at it, they often become irresponsible and often overspend money just to justify that they are doing gambling for their pleasure and when other people criticize them, they will argue that they are not addicted to gambling because they do not intend to win,  But they are doing it just to be happy.
819  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been able to win a game given to you in the dream? on: January 25, 2024, 05:32:09 AM
Most times people always pay deaf ears to their gambling dream. Most people has been given an opportunity in the dream to play certain game to succeed in life but they neglected it. When the door is closed, is when  they start being serious about gambling. And this things always happen to people who don't often play gambling.

There is this my friend, who his grandfather has taken him to a casino hall in the dream and show him game to play, and warn him to make sure he plays it. After he wakes up he didn't give a trial. After the game played he started complaining that these where the exact game he was given but didn't play it. Another time the man came and still asked him why he didn't play that game? He said he didn't believe in such dream coming to reality. The man told him that he has $30 in his account, that he should used it to play the game that he would not come again to give him game. After he woke up he didn't still believe and did not play that game. Until he also discovered that the game still played according to how he was given, and he also has the amount equivalent to what the man explained in his dream. He started crying bitterly that his grandfather has try to change his life but he was so dumb not listen to him.

So what experience have you entered in your dream about gambling?
Have you ever won a game from dream?

Please shear your experience.

Seems like a sign or premonition about winning, hmm sounds interesting but maybe it's just a coincidence? I haven't heard any story about someone who wins just because they felt it like it was their lucky day or signs just showed up through their dreams. If ever that happens to me, I'll be doing what exactly happen in my dream, since there's nothing wrong if I follow that sign, right? I just wanted to try it out because the signs that I was given in my dream might come true. well, it's just a part of the game, let's not be kill joy.
820  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever regretted selling your bitcoins ? on: January 24, 2024, 09:59:52 PM
We've all been there, that moment of realization when you remember selling your precious Bitcoins years ago and wonder if you missed the boat.  Well, take a deep breath, because im here to remind you that in the world of crypto, time is always on our side!

It might sting a bit to think about what could have been if you held onto those BTC, but let's not forget the golden rule of crypto: it's a marathon, not a sprint. The market is dynamic, and opportunities are ever-present.

for me, it's normal that we have regrets especially when we sold our bitcoin hodlings but I just thought that all the bitcoin that I  sold went to the right place and didn't run out anywhere. I really regret every time I remember that day, especially now that the price of bitcoin is so high. Well, past is past, the important thing is that I have learned what to do and prepare the actions to be done in the next years that will come with bitcoin.
